The Beginning
"A brain eater monster!" Cleo yelled.
" AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" her three friends yelled before running in random directions.
The black and green alien scratched his head very confused, apparently he had scared them, strange, he was sure they would be used to beings like him.
His gaze then went to a strange device that was attached to his chest, it looks like a green hourglass with black sides, and he touched the device hoping it would work and a cybernetic voice came out of there.
General failure in systems, the automatic repair was activated, blocking life form, Galvanic Mechamorph.
The strange creature crouched resignedly, apparently the device had been damaged. Well, it was not the time to worried, he had to find those girls, was sure it was not a good idea to let them run like headless chickens through a dark forest.
He took a step, before noticing a small object lying on the ground, without hesitation he picked it up with his huge hand and examined it, it was a piece of technology, perhaps a kind of cell phone in a hexagonal shape similar to a sarcophagus, he returned his view to the forest, most likely one of those girls had left it behind when they fled, he could return it to its owner when he found her.
(With Draculaura)
The vampire ran through the forest, avoiding all obstacles that were in her way, her heart was pumping hard and adrenaline ran through her veins, she never believed that a night with her friends would end like this.
"Girls, we have to…" Draculaura stopped when she realized that he had separated from her friends. " Girls?" She looked around for any sign of her friends, but just found trees. In the darkness of the forest, the little vampire swallowed frightened, she was alone and in total darkness, with whatever that thing was wandering around the place, possibly looking for her brain to eat. "Okay, Calm down Draculaura, take a deep breath." she tried to reassure herself, it was beginning to work, when he heard how some birds took flight, returning to a state of total panic.
Her imagination began to fly at that time, the air cold in the early morning bristled her skin and every subtle movement just around accentuated over her panic, all surroundings was strange, did not recognize that part of the forest, she began to hear noises everywhere and even saw shadows moving.
Being a monster, none of this should have been terrifying, but she was totally terrified. The sudden cracking of a branch made her jump into place and she quickly turned in the direction of the sound source, it had been heard close, too close.
"Gi-Girls? " asked hoping it was any of her friends. With care, she began to approach the place where she had heard the sound, it was between some dry trees, they had a terrifying appearance, similar to huge hands that would catch her at any moment, but, even so, she walked towards the place.
When she was close enough, she could see the responsible for the noise, a mother possum was there, she seemed to be digging for insects or something for eat, when she saw Draculaura, the small mammal screeched and quickly fled leaving her alone again. The young vampire held her chest trying to calm her breathing, that had put her on the limit.
"Great, scared by a possum. Very good Draculaura." She reproached herself and then turned around, widening her eyes at that moment when she saw a solitary bright green circle in the dark. With fear, but with the hope that perhaps it was one of her friends, she spoke. "He-Hello?"
Several circuit-like lines glowed in the dark just below the green circle, little by little, before a seven feet tall creature emerged from the shadows. It had a vaguely humanoid appearance, with long arms and black skin, and green ventral part. She recognized him as the monster who appear from the ship.
Wasting no time, she quickly turned around and started running in the opposite direction, but her foot caught on a root that protruded slightly from the ground, making her fall. Tried to stand up but failed, her gaze fell to her left foot, could feel a sharp and stabbing pain coming from there.
The sound of the footsteps of the space monster reached her ears and she gulped when she saw how the space creature began to walk towards her, his steps were slow and muffled, the adrenaline of the moment was enough for the girl to ignore the pain and start to crawl, trying to get away from him, but didn't get very far before a huge hand grab on one of her shoulders.
Her heart stops for a moment, a thousand and one thoughts began to cross her mind, each of her neurons worked at their maximum capacity trying to find a possible way out and avoid a more than painful death, she could then feel a slight pull for she parted from this giant hand and turned her head, the expression of terror only increased upon seeing the lonely expressionless eye in the face of that creature.
A single thought crossed her mind, her mouth open and then she screams in horror.
Cleo was running with all her might through the forest with a single thought in her mind, she was going to kill Clawdeen, she was going to kill her, revive her and kill her again! She was going to make her suffer so much! Of course Clawdeen had to ruin that night, she couldn't just leave the stupid star alone and now they were on the run for their lives from whatever came out of that ship. Fortunately, the edge of the forest was close, they could call for help soon.
The first to get out was Frankie, she almost fell to the ground, they had run a great distance in a very short time, her breath was irregular and she leaned on her knees trying to catch her breath, shortly after Cleo and Clawdeen arrived, they were a little better than Frankie due to her better physical condition, but even so her breasts rose and fell rapidly, the initial adrenaline drained from her systems, that was certainly a horrible experience.
"Everyone is okay?!" Frankie asked, Cleo didn't answer and Clawdeen just raised her thumb, even so, it was clear that they were still nervous, the young woman noticed then that a certain short vampire was missing and looked around, hoping that it had simply taken a little longer than they. "Where is Draculaura?" she asks.
Clawdeen's eyes widened at that simple question, she quickly turned to look for her best friend, but all that lay behind her was the forest and the darkness.
"Where is Draculaura?" She repeated, clearly worried.
"I thought I was after you!" exclaimed Cleo.
"I-I thought I was after you!" The werewolf replied.
It was then that her friend's scream broke the silence of the night, causing the monster girls to turn their heads back to the forest.
" Do-do you think she..." Cleo didn't even want to think about the possibility that something had happened to her friend.
"No, s-she should be fine, she probably found something that frightened and ..." Clawdeen received a blow with open hand by Cleo, who looked very angry, young wolf was ready to respond that aggression, but when she saw her friend she felt a weight form on her chest, Cleo was red with anger and small tears had formed in her eyes.
"This is your fault!" she yelled, breaking the silence again. "You had to go after that god damn shooting star right?"
"I-I don't…" Clawdeen looked at the mummy with wide eyes, she did not want any of this to happen, but guilt quickly invaded, if only she had not followed her instinct for adventure.
Cleo was more than ready to tell Clawdeen each and every one of her thoughts, but Frankie got in the middle of both and push Cleo away.
"Cleo calm down." The mummy looked at her angrily, but when she saw her friend's serious face, she kept silent, Frankie took a deep breath and tried to think of the best solution to this problem, she couldn't let her friends fight at a time like this. "Draculaura will be fine, she is very strong."
"Frankie, you saw that thing! We don't even know what the hell it is! It could be some kind of vampire-eating alien or worse!" Cleo replied euphoric, the concern in her voice was very clear.
"That is a possibility, but I prefer to believe that Draculaura fled in the opposite direction to us." that was a possibility, yes, but it was more like a lie to itself same, I could not think of the possibility that her friend had ...
"What are we gonna do?" Asked the mummy on the verge of nervous breakdown.
"First, we must call the police, they may be able to help us." quickly searched her clothes for her cell phone, but found nothing. "Uh, girls, does anyone have their ICoffin?"
"I have, let me…" Clawdeen reached into her pockets for her own phone, after all, she had brought it with her, her face twisted into a nervous expression when she couldn't find it . "I-I think I lost it"
"This is incredible!" Cleo turned away from her friends totally furious.
The guilt that Clawdeen was feeling was growing bigger with every passing second, it didn't help at all that Cleo was ranting insults in Egyptian a couple of steps away from her.
"It's enough Cleo." Frankie tried to keep her composure as best he could, but even she was reaching its limit in this situation. "My house is not far away, we must go back and call the police, they will help us."
"They aren't going to help us." Frankie put her phone down on her kitchen table and let out a defeated sigh. "They didn't believe any word."
"And who would!?" Cleo said. "Hello, police? You see, my friend just got attacked by a brain-eating monster from the space!" the mummy yelled that last part.
"Hey, don't yell at me, I'm trying to be the voice of reason in this situation!" Frankie defended herself.
"And you don't yell at me!" Cleo answered. "I'm worried about Draculaura as much as you!"
While her two friends argued heatedly, Clawdeen had her eyes lost and head bowed, all her thoughts were stuck on what they had experienced that night, she blamed herself so much for everything.
Her mind wandered, her imagination could only give an idea of what could have happened to her best friend of all life and she did not like that at all, she felt helpless, she felt guilty for not having realized that Draculaura had stayed back, she wished it had been her, at least she could defend herself against that thing.
"And you!" Cleo's voice caught the attention of the wolf girl, who raised her face slightly, her friend was looking at her and pointing a finger at her, clearly furious. "This was all your fault!"
"Cleo, that's enough! No one was to blame!" Frankie intervened, hearing how her friend defended her despite clearly announcing how dangerous it was to go to that place Clawdeen only felt worse. "Now what we have to do is think of a way to find Draculaura."
"That's if she's still alive." she recalled the mummy, making Clawdeen cringe more in place.
"Cleo, she's alive, I know she is." Frankie had to gather all her strength to prevent her voice from breaking just by saying that, her eyes passed to Clawdeen who did his best to avoid eye contact.
Frankie could only take a deep breath and try to calm down, pointing out guilty now was not a good idea, they had to devise a way to find their lost friend and prevent the alien from feasting on them in the process.
" I'll go…" Clawdeen's whispering voice caught the attention of both young ladys, who looked at her, she had begun to shed tears and her fists were clenched with enough force to make her bleed. " I'll go find Draculaura. "
"what?" Asked Cleo surprised. "Clawdeen, think about all this for a second, you saw how big that thing was! "
"And matters?!" She replied, her pupils became sharp and she had no qualms about showing her fangs to Cleo, who took a scared step back. "This was all my fault! I should be the one to go get her!"
"Clawdeen, Cleo is right, even if you go looking for Draculaura we don't know what that thing could do to you. " Frankie approached her friend and rested her hand on Clawdeen's right shoulder. "We must think well what we will do."
The wolf woman said nothing, she felt so guilty and helpless right now, the fear that her best friend did not return.
Frankie noticed that Cleo had the same expression as Clawdeen, after all, Draculaura was the innocence of the group, losing her was like losing a part of themselves and she wasn't going to let that happen. Arming herself with a new motivation, the girl quickly went to where her parents kept the kitchen utensils, Cleo and Clawdeen looked at her confused, wondering what she was planning. To their surprise, her friend pulled out a rolling pin, a frying pan, and a spatula, turned around, and walked back to them.
"Here, we will go find Draculaura."
"What? " Cleo asked surprised. "Frankie, are you crazy?"
"Frankie, I can't let you two take chances for my mistake." Clawdeen tried to get closer to her friend, but she simply pointed the spatula at her, she just let out an " eeep!" at the sudden movement.
"We are talking about the life of our friend." she replied. "And I'm not going to let any space monster eat she."
"And how do you plan to defeat that thing?" Cleo asked. "In case you haven't noticed, those." pointing to the objects that her friend had in her hands. " These are not weapons, these are tools to make food."
"And if you 've forgotten." A small electric shock was unleashed from Frankie and ran through the spatula, surprising both girls. "We are monsters, we can face that thing and rescue our friend." Clawdeen and Cleo looked at each other momentarily and then they looked at Frankie, she was right, they were monsters and unlike humans, they could withstand more punishment and defend themselves in the same way. "Now, take this and let's go get our friend back."
With renewed motivation, Clawdeen took the roller and looked confidently at her friend, she was going to kick that thing's spatial ass if a single hair was missing from her friend's cute little head.
"You 're kidding right?" Cleo was not at all convinced of the plan, the looks of her friends were enough to give her to understand that they were not going to back down on this. "Fine! But if our brains end up in the stomach of that thing I'll make sure you two don't rest in death!"
"Sounds fair." said Clawdeen casually but then put an expression serious. "Now walking, I still remember the scent of that thing, we can trace it."
The girls wasted no time heading towards the forest, walking in single file, the trio of young lady's advanced through the place at a slow pace. Clawdeen was in front, thanks to her nose she could follow the path towards the ship and at the same time lend around her thanks to her ears, behind her was Frankie, who had her left hand extended slightly and sparkling, allowing her to light the way a couple of steps, at the end was Cleo, clinging very tightly to the kitchen roller, her gaze traveled through the trees and the ground, fearful of meeting any sign of the alien.
"How much left?" asked the mummy.
"Not much." Frankie answered, it was just as she said, about thirty meters in front of them you could already see the clearing created by the impact of the ship. "Clawdeen, did you catch something?"
"Not yet" replied the aforementioned. "Girls, again, are you sure you want to do this? It was my fault and..."
"Clawdeen Wolf." Cleo interrupted her, the werewolf looked at her quite surprised by the authoritative tone she had used, much more authoritarian than she commonly used. "Don't even think about completing that sentence, is that clear?"
"But I…"
"No."
"But…"
"No." Cleo made a movement with her hand simulating a mouth closing. "No Ghoul is left behind, understood?" Clawdeen couldn't hide her smile, perhaps Cleo didn't show it often, but she cared a lot about her friends.
"Girls, I think I see something." Both young people directed their attention to Frankie, the monster made of parts pointed ahead, it was then that they saw him walking among the trees, the black and green alien was there, he had not even noticed them and was heading towards his ship.
The three girls hid behind some trees and leaned out to see him, they saw him jump towards his ship and get inside it.
"Well, what 's the plan?" asked Cleo.
"I'll tell you what the plan is." Clawdeen lifted the frying pan in his hands and pointed it at the ship. "We go there and teach that thing not to mess with our friend."
"You literally just made up that plan." Cleo sighed quite annoyed at Clawdeen's lack of common sense, but she didn't have a better idea either.
"We will do this." Clawdeen and Cleo look at Frankie, their friend apparently made a better plan. "Clawdeen, you are the strongest, you have a better chance of beating that thing, I will stay with you and try to cover you, if that thing is made of metal then my electricity should damage it." Frankie then looked in Cleo's direction. "Cleo, you will go to the ship and look for Draculaura."
"Wait, why should I go to the ship?" She asked a little nervous.
"Do you want fight against the space monster?" Clawdeen asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Run to the ship and look for Draculaura, I got it." That statement earned a blank look from Clawdeen. "What? I'm a princess, I shouldn't be fighting space monsters."
"a Drama princess" The werewolf commented sarcastically. "Okay, let's do this."
The three young women began to advance again, little by little and carefully they approached the impact zone, it was then that Clawdeen caught a familiar aroma and raised her hand, her friends stopped at that moment and looked at her confused.
"I have the scent of Draculaura, she's here."
"Does that mean that thing brought her back?" Cleo asked hopefully.
"Probably. ¿both of you know what to do, right?" Frankie and Cleo nodded in response.
The girls were ready to come out of their hiding place and rush towards the ship, but at that moment, the alien emerged from it and helped Draculaura out, surprising the young women. Clawdeen gritted her teeth, for her, that thing was undoubtedly trying to harm her best friend and when she saw them walking straight towards them, she didn't hesitate to throw herself next to her pan.
"Get away from my friend!" she roared as she swung her body to the side, her blow effectively hitting the alien and sending him a couple of steps back.
A few moments Before.
Draculaura slowly opened her eyes, felt her head spin, she brought one of her hands to her face and tried to clear her mind. What had happened? She didn't quite remember. She looked around and was surprised to realize that he was not in the forest, instead, she was inside some kind of super advanced vehicle, her body was lying on the ground and he had some kind of blanket under it to avoid to touch cold metal.
Little by little she rejoined and felt a stabbing pain in one of her feet, her gaze traveled to the place of origin of the pain and she was surprised to see her left foot was covered by bandages.
"What happened?" she asked herself as looked around, some footsteps were heard outside the vehicle and she quickly put herself on guard, of course she was not exactly a fighter by nature, but she wasn't going to fall without defending herself, one of her hands reaching for anything that might be useful in case whatever was out there came in.
To her bad luck, the same creature that she had seen before, come in to the vehicle, as if it were some kind of slime, its body shook when hitting the floor of the vehicle, but it quickly reformed, its presence put Draculaura on the limit and pointed it with the object she had picked up, a doll very similar to human Sumo fighters, the alien looked at her clearly confused at that and his head tilted to one side.
"S-Stay back! Or I… I will hit you with the power of Japanese fighters!" she exclaimed as he waved the doll in a non-threatening way.
Terror invaded her when she saw how the alien ignored her threat and advanced towards her, the young lady looked in all directions looking for some way to escape, then she saw the place where the alien had entered, the problem was that the space monster was in the middle of the road and he was approaching, her only chance to escape was to manage to distract him, surround him and jump outside. Sure after that she had to run through a dark forest without really knowing where Frankie's house was, but those were small details. She took a deep breath, sharpened her gaze, and lunged forward. To her bad luck, she had forgotten that she was still injured in one foot, the pain from supporting her with too much force ran through her body and made her lose her balance, falling directly towards the alien. Her body hit that of the space monster, it was a strange sensation, like hitting a jelly, she closed her eyes expecting some kind of attack from that creature, possibly her brain ending up as his dinner, but contrary to what she thought, the alien just moved her carefully, making sure not to hurt her more and took the doll from her hands, she opened her eyes confused and looked up, she could see the lonely eye of the monster looking at her with what she deduced was curiosity.
"Are you okay?"She was surprised to hear the voice of that creature, it was male but as if it had gone through a synthesizer before, his language was strange and unintelligible, but she could feel the concern that the being felt for her.
The alien helped her to her feet, holding her so that she does not fall again, the vampire could not believe what was happening, the supposed brain-eating monster was not aggressive at all. She swallowed hard and spoke fearfully.
"You are not going to ... eat my brain?" The question seemed to have had some kind of effect on the alien since he took a step back as if he was disgusted at that idea and quickly shook his head, the young woman could breathe quiet thanks to that, but even so being in the presence of a monster twice her size made her nervous, although this was attenuated when she saw how the alien walked towards a metal box and with great care placed the sumo wrestlers doll there, as if it were a really valuable possession.
She couldn't help but give a little laugh at that, it was like seeing a child putting away his favorite toy, although she was silent again when the alien redirected his attention to her. He looked at her for a few seconds, as if he was debating what to do with her, but then he turned to the controls of the vane and started looking for something in the place.
Consumed by curiosity, she tried to see what he was doing, it was then that the alien turned towards her again, in his hands he had a kind of note block and a pencil, she watched him write for a few seconds and then tore the sheet the one he had written and handed it over to her. Draculaura opened her eyes when she saw that he had written a question in perfect English, apparently he could speak the same language, at least in written form.
" "How do you feel?" " she read aloud, looked at the alien without knowing how to respond to that, he wrote on another sheet and handed it to her as well, she read again. " "You hurt your ankle", you are ... worried for me?" She asked confused, the alien nodded in response. "Uh, thanks, I think, but I'm fine, it's just a kink." He looked at her with some mistrust, as if he didn't really believe it. "Did you ... did you heal my ankle?" That question had formed in his mind since he saw the bandages, then before the passive way of acting of the alien his suspicions increased. Again, he nodded. "Wow, thanks! you ..." again another paper was handed to her, she read it and smiled in response. "Upgrade, it's a nice name." The alien was a bit embarrassed by her words.
The girl again let out a laugh at that, apparently the supposed brain-eating monster was quite friendly, now she felt a little bad for having fled so scared from him, it was then that she remembered that she had come alone to that place.
"Upgrade, did you see my friends?" The alien looked momentarily and then denied, that the discouraged a little, but quickly pulled herself together, to the least knew that they were well, be thinking of her friends she did not notice Draculaura that Upgrade was now more close to her, only realized when the big hand of the alien appeared in her field of vision, taking her by surprise, she let out a little cry at that, but quickly calmed down, looked at his new friend, who was silent and continued with his arm extended, it was then that she saw her friend's ICoffin there. "You… where did you get this?" she asked surprised.
The alien moved his left arm over his shoulder and pointed his thumb outward.
"Outside? In the woods?" He shook his head in a negative way . "Did she drop it when we were running away?" he nodded, processed Draculaura those words a few moments, he had pursued with the intention to return it? Wow, he really was a nice guy after all. "Thanks, I'll make sure Clawdeen gets her ICoffin back." The alien nodded and then walked to the hatch, stopped momentarily and turned to see her. "What's happen?" He made a sign for her to follow him. "Do you ... do you want to take me with my friends?" the he nodded. "Really?! That's cool!"
The girl did not hesitate to move towards him, although she almost fell again because of the pain. She mentally scolded herself for that and more carefully continued to advance.
Upgrade leaped outside, then held out his hand to help her out, which she gladly accepted.
"You know, you're not as bad as I thought." The alien looked at her confused and cocked his head. "I mean, I thought you were a brain-eating space monster, but now, I'm sure the girls will be dying to meet you!"
This little statement made the alien puff out his chest with pride or at least something similar, which made her laugh.
Once outside, Upgrade helped her to her feet and they carefully began to advance towards the forest, just at the precise moment when Clawdeen emerged from the trees with frying pan in hand and fully prepared to strike the alien.
"Get away from my friend!" she roared as she swayed her body to the side, Upgrade, who was too focused on Draculaura, could not avoid the blow in time, which hit his face and sent him a couple of steps back. Frankie and Cleo were soon running towards their friend, who had fallen to the ground after Clawdeen's sudden attack.
"You're okay?!" the mummy girl asked very concerned while examining the vampire, she held her face and made sure to look at her carefully. "That thing didn`t eat your brain, right?!" not being able to speak due to Cleo's grip, Draculaura simply shook her head, making the girl breathe more calmly. "For the love of Ra, you had us so worried!" she exclaimed and hugged her without hesitation.
"Cleo, Frankie?" The little vampire asked really confused, her ears caught the growls coming from Clawdeen, who was looking threateningly at the alien. "Clawdeen?" What…. What are you girls doing here?"
"We came to rescue you." Frankie answered. "Cleo, take Draculaura." ordered.
"Frankie, are you mad? We have to go"
"I'll stay with Clawdeen to distract him, you guys run away."
"Girls ..." Draculaura tried again to explain that it was all a misunderstanding, but was silenced by a hug from Cleo.
"Quiet, I'll make sure that thing doesn't hurt you."
"But Cleo he didn't…" The vampire was interrupted when Cleo took her by the arm lifting her off the ground and started running in the opposite direction from the space monster.
Clawdeen charged the alien again, ignoring Draculaura who was trying to explain that it was not a threat. She approached head-on, she wasn't a fighter after all, she just wanted to hit that thing for hurting her friend, blinded by her anger, she couldn't guess what the space creature would do.
She swings her body trying to hit him again with the kitchen utensil in her hands, but the alien to turn into a puddle, Clawdeen could barely react when the puddle rushed towards her, the alien tried to hit her in the stomach, but she used the pan to avoid the initial blow, but the attack did not end there, like a Venus flycatcher, the mud spread everywhere surrounding it in a perfect sphere.
Frankie opened her eyes with surprise and fear at that, but these emotions were quickly replaced by anger. That thing had just eaten her friend, this would not be so, the young monster ran toward the ball, with every intention of beating him, but stopped when some bumps began to appear in the field, Frankie was confused at seeing this, the fear that that thing was already digesting her friend took hold of her. It was then that two pairs of claws emerged from the top and slowly began to rip the alien's body. Clawdeen then stuck his head out and took a deep breath.
"Clawdeen!" Frankie shouted relieved to see that her friend was still alive.
"Frankie ! electrocute this thing!" she yelled as she tried to free herself from the alien's grasp, several tendrils emerged from the latter's body and launched themselves towards Clawdeen, trying to hold her back. "What are you waiting for?!"
"But what about you?!" she asked worried, Frankie did not want to hurt her friend by mistake.
"Just do it!" she yelled in response at the same time that a tentacle clung to her mouth, she struggled to get rid of it, succeeding after taking a bite and tearing off several pieces. "I've spent too much time on monster web to know how this will end!" Upgrade just rolled his eye, then made more tentacles emerge from his body and guided them towards Clawdeen. "Do you have a tentacle fetish?" she asked sarcastically.
Frankie looked doubtfully at her friend, who continued to struggle against the space monster, she did not want to hurt her, but she also wanted to free her from that creature, she had to choose quickly since her friend was again being consumed by the black slime, so she rushed towards they. Her bolts began to release some sparks, electricity crackled through her body and she directed it towards the spatula that she still had in her hands, when she was close enough to the alien, she let out a blow. While originally a spatula couldn't do any harm to a being like him, but the extra electricity did.
The alien felt the energy discharge through his body, being made basically of liquid metal, he suffered more than he should have suffered, his body trembled and his prison in which he had captured Clawdeen weakened, allowing the girl claws cut through it, throwing some parts of the alien's body to the ground.
A seeing his free friend, Frankie threw another blow, hitting back against the body of the space monster, he gave a cyber-squeak and wrenching and took several steps back, his body trembled momentarily and tried to catch it, but Clawdeen attacked him, the werewolf had recovered his frying pan and did not hesitate to attack him, the blow managed to tear off more parts, which stained the floor. Upgrade tried to grab she again with one of his hands, but Clawdeen backed away.
"Are you okay?" Clawdeen asked, standing in front of Frankie, covering her in case the alien attacked again.
"I'm ... tired ..." her friend replied in a cut way, Clawdeen turned her head and looked at her over her shoulder, she was worried when she saw that under the girl's eyes there were black bags, as if she were really exhausted. "and you ... are you okay?" she asked.
Clawdeen was going to answer, but a strange sound caught his attention and he returned his sight to the front, he felt his heart skip a beat when he saw how all the parts that had managed to rip the monster off returned to their owner, who did not seem to happy, he observed them and his eye curved down, forming a perfect V, she could only swallow before that image, with Frankie without energy, she was only left to defend them from that thing.
The alien made his fists bump and began to advance towards her, more than ready to attack her, Clawdeen tried to look intimidating, but she was sure that, for that creature, she was not at all.
Somewhere in the forest, not far from the fight, Cleo and Draculaura were running, the former looking in all directions as she did so, looking for a reference, a light, or something familiar to guide her out of the way.
"Cleo, wait! No, you don't understand!" Draculaura exclaimed.
"Of course I understand! That thing tried to eat you, I'm taking you out of this stupid forest!" she replied, Draculaura managed to free herself from her grasp and stopped, surprising her friend. "What are you doing?"
"Cleo, please listen to me, Upgrade doesn't want to hurt us!"
"Upgrade?" she asked confused. "Wait, you mean that thing?"
"Yes, his name is Upgrade, he seems scary I know, but he is quite docile."
"Draculaura, listen, do not know what to think was what happened, but that thing ate Clawdeen, and is now itself struggling against her and Frankie, we must go to the police or call the army or bring someone!"
"No!" replied in an authoritative voice. "Cleo, he doesn't will hurt us, please, trust me."
The young mummy looked doubtfully at her friend, her gaze then traveled back to where they had fled, she could still hear the sounds of the nearby fight, Cleo let out a frustrated growl and looked at her friend.
"Fine, we'll be back." Draculaura smiled at that, but Cleo did not seem anything happy. "But if that thing attacks us, I'll use you as bait." she declared.
"Thanks Cleo, you're the best!" The little vampire hugged her friend tightly, making her just sigh, sometimes she couldn't against that girl.
"I appreciate the compliments."
The fight between Frankie, Clawdeen and the alien had become quite difficult for the two girls, since she had to use part of the electricity in her body, Frankie was totally exhausted, she could barely corner when the alien threw himself towards them, for luckily the blows and shocks she gave him, weakened him enough or so he wanted to believe. Then she notice how the alien tried to keep Clawdeen focused solely on him, as if he expected him to tire, dodge and avoid blows in ways that were quite unique given his composition.
"Clawdeen." Frankie called her friend, who looked at her for a second, Upgrade took advantage of this and again tried to lock her inside his body, but the girl managed to dodge him, and then throw her weapon at him, it hit the circular object that he possessed in his chest and made him go back.
"Frankie, how are you?" She asked worried when she saw that the bags under her friend's eyes had increased and were more noticeable.
"I can't ... generate more electricity." she answered while breathing in a cut way. "We have to go. "
"Can you walk? " Frankie shook her head. "I'll carry you on my back."
"No ... Clawdeen, you have to go now."
"What? You are crazy if you think I'm going to leave you!"
"Clawdeen, you have to go." The werewolf wanted to reply, but Frankie looked at her seriously. "Draculaura is safe, and I can be rebuilt, you must go, now."
She looked at her in frustration, she did not want to leave her and not going to, Upgrade's footsteps were heard, quickly turned and covered Frankie with her body and then let out a roar at the alien, who stared at her.
She could feel his gaze, as if studying herself, then simply looked to the side, confusing Clawdeen, then that a bolt of green energy shot out from the space monster's eye.
The sound of wood being shattered was heard and Clawdeen trembled in fear, slowly turning her head and she could see the result of the alien's attack. A tree almost as thick as the Upgrade body was split in half, some green flames dancing on the trunk that was still unique to the ground. The werewolf then understood something, this creature in front of her, from the beginning could have killed them with ease.
"Stop, please" again Upgrade's voice emerged from his body, both girls looked at him in surprise, it could be clearly heard that it was a plea.
Clawdeen couldn't understand anything that was happening, seeing that destructive capacity, couldn't he understand why he just hadn't used those rays from the first moment?
Her thoughts were interrupted when a certain pair of monster girls returned to the scene.
"Wait, don't hurt them!" Draculaura implored, Clawdeen and Frankie looked at her confused, who was she talking to? "Upgrade, please, they just made a mistake!" To the surprise of both girls and even Cleo, the alien walked towards Draculaura and crouched down at her height. "are you hurt?" she asked, he simply shook his head and pointed towards Frankie and Clawdeen. "I know they attacked you, but it was because they thought you were going to hurt me."
"Dra-Draculaura." Cleo, who could barely stand up due to the fear she was feeling from being face to face with the alien, gulped and looked at her friend. "P-Please tell me that you speak alien."
"No, but Upgrade understands our language." she replied with some amusement. "Right?" To Cleo's surprise, the alien nodded.
"Wait, what does this all mean?" asked Clawdeen, her eyes were wide and jumped from Draculaura to Upgrade every second. "Are you ... did you become friends with this thing?" she asked.
"I think so." The girl replied a little nervous. "Clawdeen, he is Upgrade, Upgrade, she is Clawdeen and you know Cleo." The latter raised her free hand little by little to greet him, she almost fainted when the alien raised his own and shook it. "Do you see it? He's a good boy."
"Wait!" Clawdeen pointed to the alien. "He tried to eat me!" Upgrade just rolled his eye, he wasn't trying to do that clearly, what's more, he didn't have a mouth that would allow him to do that either.
"And you hit him with a frying pan." Draculaura replied. "Clawdeen, he's not going to hurt us."
"He's not going to hurt us?" she replied. "I saw him shoot a damn laser through his ugly face and split a tree in half." The comment seemed to offend the alien as his eye was curled down. "Frankie support me in this!" she waits for some kind of answer from her friend, but none came, this confused the girl a bit and she turned to her friend. "Frankie?" To her surprise, Frankie was lying on the ground, her eyes were closed and her chest was rising and She was going down rhythmically, apparently the expenditure of energy had made her fall unconscious. "You have to be kidding me." She said while patting her face.
Well, here is the second chapter, the funny thing, I had it ready 3 days after the first but I didn't upload it because I didn't like it at all, 3 days reading it over and over again and trying to see why I do not like it and postponing its publication.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it and any comments you leave help me to know how I can improve and all that.
PS: Master Wadu, if you read this, thanks for the advices.
