Bonus Chapter #1- Azriel saving Feyre (Chapter 14)
I circled the building, trying to look through the translucent glass ceiling as I pushed my shadows to get information. Cassian shot a look at me from where he was circling, worry etched onto his face. Sudden screams cut through the silence, and I dove immediately, Cassian close behind me.
Glass rained down as we crashed through it, and my eyes zeroed in on Feyre being held down, a bright orange stick being held into her back. Fury swept through me and within a blink of an eye TruthTeller was in my hand as I slammed into the man with the brander. I stabbed him in the gut before he had a chance to react.
I turned, lunging towards the one who held Feyre down; he jumped up, trying to avoid me but failing. I crashed into him, a savage growl ripping out of me. My shadows swirled around him, trying to get a feel of who he was. "Open the damn wards," I hissed, leaning in close enough for our noses to almost touch.
He nodded dumbly, bits of light coming out of his fingers as he undid them. The second he finished I took the hilt of my knife and slammed it against the side of his head. Lucien had access now. He would get this asshole.
I rose to my feet, spinning to see what condition Feyre was in. Her blood matted hair stuck to her clawed back and she struggled to her elbows. The burn on her back smoked as the scent of burnt flesh surrounded me. My siphons glowed brightly as I shielded all of her wounds to stop her bleeding. Her head dropped as I took a step towards her, and I grew wary of all the blood surrounding her.
Lucien winnowed behind me while I was lifting her as carefully as I could, his russet eye wide as he grabbed the man I had hit and winnowed away.
The wind pushed against my face as I hurled into the sky, struggling to go faster than I already was. I steadied my breathing. She would be fine. Feyre would be fine.
Her eyes slowly opened before she reached out a hand to touch my wing. My nose twitched, primal instinct running through me as a shadow nudged her hand out of the way. Her foggy gaze drifted up to me, "Rhys?" she went limp in my arms again as I shook my head and quickened my pace.
A/N- Sorry if this was a bit shotty. I wrote it very quickly
