Early morning came when Sakura was packing her belongings into her bag and adjusted her bed sheets. She used the swiffer duster to wipe off the dust from the mirror, drawers, whereas she opened the curtains in a swish motion to see the sun rising. Four days ago, they all came to an agreement where they decided to go on an island that is safe and fun to have a vacation there. Certainly, the pink-haired kunoichi was looking forward to spending more time with her friends and she was asked if she remembered anything about the latest war that occurred. Gladly, she did. Her loved ones couldn't be even more relieved that she knows other things.

"Sakura! Breakfast is ready!" Mebuki called out from the living room.

"I'm coming, mother!" She replied back, then she glanced directly at her reflection and recalled back to the moment where she and Sasuke came to an embrace. A little blush was appearing on her cheeks, but she quickly shrugged it off.

In the main entrance of the leaf village, Naruto and Sasuke continued to discuss while crossing their own arms.

"How are you doing as a shadow Hokage and your journey of atonement?" The blonde-haired ninja asked casually.

"I'm doing well and I was trying to capture a huge form of figure, but I couldn't figure out what it looks like," the dark-haired ninja answered simply.

"Did you notice if it was a monster or an enemy lurking around the woods?" Naruto raised his eyebrow curiously.

"No. Why?" Sasuke asked blankly in concern.

"Before you came back, Sakura had been attacked by a creature and somehow, she lost her memories. I cannot say that they're all gone or just some parts of it," the blonde-haired ninja stated thoughtfully.

"No worries. In any way, I can help her remember. She's my dearest friend, you know," Sasuke said, smiling determinedly.

"Sounds like the Uchiha does have a heart after all," Naruto grinned smugly as he teased him.

"Shut up," the dark-haired ninja murmured, rolling his eyes in annoyance and trying to stifle laughter.

As they were traveling on the boat together, both of them were standing near the deck railing while the wind was blowing across their faces. The other guys were playing games, whereas the girls were brushing each other's hair.

"Hehe, so the necklace you bought for Sakura. Was it expensive or just average?" Naruto asked in puzzlement.

"Somewhere in between. Yeah, silver is one of her favorites," Sasuke answered with a nod.

"I see that, but you do know that she's in a relationship with Gaara, right?" The blonde-haired ninja reminded as he raised his peculiar eyebrows.

"Hey, guys!" A familiar voice called out to turn their attention towards the three sand siblings walking up to them.

"Kankuro! Temari! Gaara!" Naruto exclaimed with a grin.

"What is up, dudes?" the purple-faced ninja asked coolly.

"Nothing much. Just having a small casual talk as always," Sasuke smirked.

"I told him about Sakura's condition and he's willing to help us out," Naruto informed, but got nudged a little on the elbow by him. His eyes widened urgently and ignored his signal.

"Definitely fine. I mean, she's our friend. There's nothing wrong with that," Temari nodded encouragingly.

"I'm a little shy guy. It's been a long time since I haven't interacted with a lot of people in my life," the dark-haired ninja stated.

"Now, you're here. Let's talk about this issue ourselves," the red-haired Kazekage said calmly.

"Okay. I'll start. How much does she remember?" Sasuke interrogated.

"Hmm. She knows her family and maybe a few of us," Kankuro answered straightforwardly.

"How come she only remembers me more than you guys?" He asked further in curiosity.

"That is what we are trying to figure out. I'm glad you asked that kind of question, Uchiha," Gaara pointed out with a smirk.

"I'm guessing she kept all of those feelings inside and doesn't know how to cope up with them," Naruto thought.

"To me?" Sasuke repeated blankly.

"Yeah," the blonde-haired ninja nodded.

"I'm not surprised that she always has that loving side. Sakura is extraordinary," Temari smiled genuinely.

"Even so that no matter how many times she gets hurt or attacked, she is able to forgive so easily," Gaara said quietly, staring nonchalantly at Sasuke, who looked back at him temperately.

Kankuro noticed this and gritted his teeth awkwardly. "Uhh… Anyway, it's a good thing that she is in good hands, right guys?"

"Yeah," Naruto and Temari agreed.

On the contrary, Gaara and Sasuke continued to stare at each other with hidden smiles that nobody has ever seen.

At that moment, the boys were playing chess on the small rectangular table, whereas Choji was munching on his potato chips. They didn't get distracted so easily when their eyes were fixated on the pieces that were moved forward and tackling the other ones.

Kiba whines in complaint as he loses where Shino knocks out the king, queen, and the knights victoriously.

"Aww, fuck! I want another rematch. You probably used one of your bug techniques, cheater! That's not fair!" He growled vehemently with a funny expression on his face.

"If I was, then I would've been caught red-handed by now. Life isn't fair, but you gotta play the game as fairly as possible," Shino stated.

Kiba clenched his teeth and wailed out. "Ahhh! Why is this happening to me?!"

"I can teach you. You just need to lower your pride down. Humility is the key to everything," Shino said wisely.

"Humility? Oh, great. Now, it will make me even go softer," Kiba groaned and slapped himself mentally.

Neji and Lee were competing against each other, but it was a tie since they are both smart at playing the game.

"Looks like we have great players here," Shikamaru smirked impressively while crossing his arms.

"Outstanding," Sai muttered as he was drawing the two ninjas on the blank page of his sketchbook.

Two hours later, everyone got off and stepped their foot on the wooden dock as they were heading to find a camping place to settle during the finest evening. They set up their tents and lit up the bonfire near the beach before they started playing truth or dare.

"Alright, Ino. You're up. Which one would you pick?" Neji called out in allay.

"Dare," she said confidently.

"Okay. I dare you to kiss… Sai," Neji smirked.

"Huh?!" Ino's eyes were about to pop out of her sockets.

'On the lips," he added in, much to the others' hilarity.

"Sure," Ino mumbled to herself as she slowly glanced at him and leaned in closer to press her lips against his.

They were all cheering and whistling when the two of them had deepened their kiss.

Tenten and Hinata hide their faces to hide their fangirling moment at Ino and Sai's chemistry, whilst the guys are clapping and hollering so proudly.

"Okay, my turn. Naruto, truth or dare," Ino asked, smirking after she sat back down on her spot.

"Dare," he answered.

"I dare you to do a handstand within 60 seconds," she said, giggling.

"What?! Fuck that. Only Lee can do it," Naruto rolled his eyes as he shook his head in annoyance.

"Ah, ah. You have to complete the dare or else, I will tell Hinata that you've been flir-" Ino got interrupted by his shout.

"Shut up! I'll do it, woman," he grumbled as he stood up and placed both of his hands on the sandy ground while he heard them all counting.

Hinata was watching him and cheered. "You can do it, love!"

"Hmph," Shikamaru smirked in satisfaction.

Naruto was gritting his teeth hardly and breathing through his nostrils was keeping himself steady, but was about to lose his balance.

"55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60!" They finished as they applauded him when he dropped his legs down and collapsed in exhaustion. "Okay, Kankuro. You're next."

"Dare," he said determinedly.

"I dare you to juggle four fire sticks," the seventh Hokage laughed.

"No problem," he said, nodding in agreement.

Then, he took out the sticks from the wooden tree and began to light them up at each end. He was tossing them up quickly as a cycle back and forth without letting them go. The others were very amazed at how skilled he was, yet his two siblings knew that he had that potential and they couldn't ask him for more.

Subsequently, Kankuro held the fire sticks after ending his little performance and bowed down.

"Okay. Sakura… It's your turn. Truth of dare," he asked.

The pink-haired kunoichi blinked a few times and said. "Truth."

Kankuro carefully glanced at Temari and the others and asked. "Do you remember anything at all? At least some of us?"

Sakura, on the other hand, was staring at him blankly as her eyes hovered towards where Sasuke was sitting and responded softly. "Yeah, I do now. I remember Naruto, Shikamaru, Tenten, Hinata and… him."

The others were looking at each other worriedly and they waited for her to continue on.

"As much as I don't want to admit this, but I think I'm in love with Sasuke…" the pink-haired kunoichi murmured quietly, much to their astonishment, including Naruto and Lee.

Gaara, on the other hand, closed his eyes for a moment and feared that this was about to happen. He knew that Sakura was very close with Sasuke as much as he is.
