A couple of giggle fits and contagious laughter was echoing throughout their surroundings. Two hands were holding and they were running towards the area where they felt the safest. Usually, they were on the swings, pushing each other as high up in the air, not caring what the other kids were thinking. The sun was beaming on their faces, whereas her bright green eyes were focused on his jaded ones.

His smile was only shown as he utters the words daintily. "I made it just for you. It will keep its own shape and it will never be broken..."

"It will never be broken..."

Gasping out for breath, the pink-haired kunoichi woke up in a jolt and sat up after waking up so suddenly. She was panting anxiously and sweats were forming on her forehead.

"Had a bad dream?" Sasuke asked straightforwardly.

She gulped and shook her head, saying. "No. It's the opposite of that."

Sasuke stood up and walked towards the bag where he found a water bottle and filled the plastic cup.

"How long was I out?" She asked quietly.

"Not long. Just a few minutes," Sasuke answered.

"Where's everyone?" Sakura wondered.

"They're still on the beach, waiting for the game to resume," Sasuke said.

"Huh?! How come?" She questioned.

"We had to stop since you were experiencing headaches. Therefore, you end up collapsing," Sasuke explained and gave the drink to her. "Here."

"Thank you..." Sakura murmured shyly and took a sip of the water. "I'm all good now."

"You sure?" He raised an eyebrow in speculation.

"Duh. I can't just take a rest while you guys are having fun," she rolled her eyes with a scoff. Then, they both walked out of the tent until she felt a hand grabbed onto her wrist that swiftly turned her around to face him.

"I've been meaning to tell you this lately..." the dark-haired ninja said, pausing for a moment. He continued on as he held onto her hands soothingly. "I know these past couple of years have been very topsy-turvy for both of us, especially with Naruto. Before then, I was clouded by vengeance and towards my older brother after murdering our clan, so I wasn't conscious enough of who I was hurting."

"Sasuke..." the pink-haired kunoichi murmured softly with a slight blush appearing on her cheeks.

The dark-haired ninja bent down on his one knee while gazing up at her. "I was a jerk for leaving you on the bench and disregarded your feelings aside... You may or may not remember that moment, but I caused you pain. Even those horrid times where I tried to kill you more than once. This may not be what you wanted. However, I'll promise you that you will never be hurt again and that you will always be protected. By any means, risking my life for you. I know what I did was absolutely want to make it up to you right here and now if you can give me another chance to be the man you want me to be..."

Sakura continued to stare deeply into his dark eyes. She became speechless and stuttered slightly. "I..."

"It's okay if you can't find the right words to say. I'm not pressuring you to give me an answer now," Sasuke said kindly. He stood up straight and caressed the back of her hand with his thumb.

Sakura slowly moved her hands away as she turned her body slightly and fidgeted her thumbs. She breathed in and said. "Umm... Yes..."

"Yes, what?" Sasuke raised an eyebrow blankly.

"I forgive you," the pink-haired kunoichi muttered shakily with her eyes glistening in a tearful joy.

Sasuke gaped his mouth open in excitement and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Thus, Sakura blushed completely in which she gave in to his embrace with her heart fluttering out of her chest. "He's so warm. This must be the first time I'm feeling an overwhelming sensation."

In just about a few seconds, they both stepped back and lessened the awkward tension.

"Let's go back. The others are waiting," the dark-haired ninja insisted.

"Right, but..." the pink-haired kunoichi nodded and thumped her fist faintly against her palm. She paused to recall where she started to wander in curiosity. "I want to talk to you about the dream that I had. You see, I was spending time with a boy, but I couldn't recognize his entire face since it was all blurry. I was in the park with him at that time, so do you know who he is?"

The dark-haired ninja gazed at her vividly and said. "Yes, I do."

"Really?" She beamed.

"Hmm. In fact, that was me..." Sasuke answered with a nod.

Sakura blinked a few times and hugged him again to his amazement. She leaned her head against his shoulder, murmuring delicately. "I knew it was you..."

"Hmm," the dark-haired ninja didn't know what to say, so he reciprocated by comforting her back.

Near their distance was another ninja, who was observing them close by and drew them on the blank scroll. With just a couple of brush strokes, he splattered a dotted ink on the bottom before wrapping it up and placing it inside the holder.

"Oh, dear. This kind of news will be very displeasing for him. Funny, I almost forgot to put this drawing in color, but I guess black and white matches these new lovebirds," he stated nonchalantly and sighed as he dissipated away in a dark liquid substance.
