It was now around midnight and all of the guests had left the diner. After the fight broke out everyone became more tense and on edge. After a while everyone cleared out and went home including the charming family. Now the only person remaining is Killian.

He is sitting at the bar once again flask in hand staring into nothingness, thinking.

He thought of the events of today and all its events. He thought of what he felt when he laid eyes on the crocodile's perfect little family. The rage, the hate, the thirst for revenge, feelings he hadn't had in a long time. He thought of the threats he made. Was he really willing to fulfill them? Were they just empty promises made blindly by hate?

Before he could answer his questions a voice interrupted him opening a brand new question.

"You gonna drink that?"

The voice which proved to be none other than young henry asked as he took aa seat next to Killian

Killian took a swing of his flask and drank from it. "You gonna tell me where in the bloody hell you were today?" he asked back.

"Actually I really don't wanna talk about it tonight so can it wait?"

The pirate only nodded and began to drink once more.

"Can I have some?" the young boy asked

Killian was taken aback by this question and lingered on it for a moment. From what he understood the boy wasn't allowed to drink in this world. Maybe the lad was too young to drink, but he had started drinking when he was younger than Henry so maybe it was okay.

"Your mother would kill both of us if she knew we were doing this"

"Well then it's a good thing she's not here"

'I guess a bit won't hurt', Killian thought and poured some of the rum into a glass cup and handed it to Henry. They clinked their cups before taking a sip of their drinks. Henry immediately scrunched his face in disgust.

"Maybe we should have started you off with something lighter, huh?" Killian said with a chuckle

"Nah," Henry responded, "I'm good" with that he took another small sip this time without making faces.

"Nicely done lad," Killian said while giving him pat on the back. "Just don't get used to it," he warned, "wouldn't want to turn you into an alcoholic like me."

"That better be apple juice in that cup young man," Regina said startling the two men sitting at the bar.

Both didn't quite know how to respond, so Regina took their silence as an answer. Even though she already knew there was rum in the glass she walked over to her son and smelled the liquid he had previously been drinking. "Drinking?" she asked, her tone more disappointed than angry, "I seriously cannot believe you right now!"

"Come on, it was just a little sip it's no big deal" Henry said defensively

"Not a big deal?" His now furious mom responded, "I can try to tolerate your new audited but I will not let my son turn into an alcoholic!"

"I'm not gonna turn into an alcoholic from a few sips! Besides Killian was hear the whole time"

"Is that supposed to be comforting?"

At her statement Killian stepped in, "I'll have you know that I was monitoring this quite responsibly," he said feeling a bit hurt at her distrust. He thpught she of all people would have faith on him changing his ways.

The queen scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Please, you're a one handed pirate with the most serious drinking problem
I've ever seen."

"Those are my issues I would never pass that on to the boy," Hook said trying to hold back the anger starting to boil inside of him.

"Well forgive me if i find that hard to believe," she said with a sarcastic tone. All trust he had gained went out the window today. She worried about him reverting back to his old ways and after the little show he put on earlier, she definitely wasn't going to allow him to teach her son to drink.

Killian took a step forward ready to retaliate but a small hand stopped him, Henry turned to face him and whispered, "I got this" before turning back to face his adoptive mother.

"Killian has nothing to do with this okay? I was the one who asked for the drink, it's not his fault." He was tiered of hearing his mom blame Killian when he didn't do anything wrong. This was between them two, not Hook. "Plus you're one to talk, it's not like your the embodiment of a perfect parent either!"

"You seriously want to complain about my parenting skills?" Regina asked raising her voice, "Who raised you for more than half your life? Who put a roof over your head and fed you for ten years? Who-"

"Tried to take the last memories I have of my mom away from me!" Henry yelled, interrupting her angry rant.

Killian, still standing in the background decided to leave the pair alone for this conversation and walked away exiting through the back door., they didn't even notice.

"You weren't sleeping, you were having panic attacks, what else was I supposed to do?" Apparently this was a rhetorical question because before Henry even had time to answer she continued. "The last memory you had of Emma was clearly torturing you, why would you want to keep that night in mind?"

"I-" Henry struggling to get the words out, "It doesn't matter why you shouldn't have tried to take them without asking."

Regina knew she was never going to be able to get Henry to understand why she did what she did, so she decided to skip to a new subject before things got worse.

"I get your mad at me right now-"

"That would be the understatement of the century" He interrupted once more, but the queen continued either way.

"However that doesn't excuse the fact that you were drinking" she said her voice more calm now yet equally as aggravated.

"Omg this again," the teenager said irritated, "I thought we were over this"

"We're not over this until I say we're over this. Now what the hell were you thinking, you know drinking at your age is dangerous not to mention illegal."

"We're in a hidden magical town full of fairy tale characters, I don't think laws apply here," with a hint of sarcasm

"But your mothers rules do," she replied stubbornly, "your not allowed to drink and you know that."

"You are so over reacting right now," Henry said annoyed that she was still pushing this, "I wasn't even drinking that much."

"I don't care how much you were drinking. Why were you drinking in the first place?"

"It doesn't matter!"

"Why were you drinking?!" The queen pushed, she was tiered of that being Henry's response to every question. She was going to start getting answers whether he wanted to give them or not.

"Because I just need it to stop hurting for a little bit!" Henry finally exploded, tears immediately started pooling in his eyes and his voice wobbled as he tried to get the rest of his answer out. "I watched my mom get murdered right in front of me and that you were right, that image is on a constant loop in my head, haunting me every day but that isn't even what haunts me that most." He chocked back some tears before continuing, tears now pouring out of his eyes. "What haunts me the most is that my best friend is dead. And it hurts, it hurts so bad I can't breathe. I can't, I can't do worse I just, I can't. I just needed for it to stop hurting for one second, I just need to breath. And I- It just- It hurts all the time, and I, I can't- I just needed it to go away, I-"

The boy's body was wracked with sobs making him unable to finish. Regina was in tears now as well, hearing the pain in her son's voice made her forget that they were even fighting in the first place. She grabbed her son and pulled him into her arms letting him weep into her chest. Whatever differences they had could wait, her son needed her and that was all she cared about. As for Henry he was too consumed with pain and emotion to care about what Regina had done. During that moment he was only grateful somebody was there to hold him as he grieved.

Once the boy had calmed down the pair broke apart and went their separate ways. Regina had of course decided against that at first but Henry promised her that they could talk tomorrow. He needed to be alone right now and Regina understood that, however she was hesitant to let him go. After this break down she certainly wasn't going to wait another three weeks to speak to him. But with he promise Henry made she felt more calm in letting him go knowing they would be able to speak tomorrow on hopefully better terms, so she did.

Well, I made myself cry again. I know this was another short chapter, possibly shorter than the last one, but it was packed with lot's of emotion so I decided to end it and start the next chapter on a fresh page. Starting next chapter we will go back to showing some flashbacks (although not as much as before) and we will explore new wounds and more drama will definitely ensure. I want to thank you all so much for reading cnd reviewing my story it means so much to me! (By the way reviews make me write faster.)

I love you all so much thank you again :) 3
