It had been nearly two hours after that event at the Earthni anniversary and former queen Moon, former king River, Rafael, Angie, Mayor Eclipsa, Marco and Globgor were standing in the living room, trying to take in what happened.

There were so many questions going through their head at the very moment. 'Who is the mask figure?' 'Why does he think Star is evil?' 'She can't be evil, right?'

"So, what's going to happen now?" Moon asked Eclipsa with worry. "Are they gonna hurt my little sweetie?"

"Don't you worry Moon." Eclipsa assured her. "I have the police force searching Echo Creek for the masked suspect and I have requested that your house is to be protected at all times. So, expect seeing police cars every time you wake up."

"Will there be cameras in the house?" Angie asked.

"I will have someone set up cameras from inside and out." Eclipsa replied. "And unfortunately, they will always be on."

"Well, this is going to be extremely uncomfortable." River sighed. "Could I at least smash them if they zoom in a little too close?"

"No." Eclipsa replied.

"Aww." River groaned.

"So, will we be safe?" Rafael asked.

"Protecting you right now is my first priority." Eclipsa replied. "I have advised everyone to stay indoors until the morning or when they have a very, very early job."

"Who would've done such a thing?" River asked.

"I don't know." Eclipsa replied.

"Who would wish to hurt my baby girl?"

"I don't know."

"Could it be a Star hater? Or a Star lover who was betrayed?! Or someone who was close to the magic and-"

"River, if all my answers are 'I don't know' then I don't know." Eclipsa replied, getting annoyed with River constantly asking her.

"If they hurt my little Mariposa, I will tear them from limb to limb and then I'll diezmar them!" Rafael exclaimed.

"What about me?" Marco asked.

"No offence sweetie, you can handle yourself." Angie said.

"Fair point." Marco retorted.

"So, how's Star doing?" Globgor asked. "She's not letting this bother her, right?"

"She hasn't left her room since we got back." Moon replied.

"Not even for a bathroom break." Angie commented.

"And not even for our Nacho Thursdays." Rafael said sadly while holding a bowl of nachos smothered with cheese.

"Question: Have people ever died at the hands of these?" Globgor asked. "Meteora's been trying to eat some and I'm very concerned about the pointy bits."

"Only by allergic reactions." Rafael replied. "As well as being choked."

"Guys, I'm gonna check up on Star." Marco said. "I think she needs someone at the moment."

"Let me come up as well." Moon said as she followed Marco upstairs.

"Give her a hug for me, Moon Pie!" River exclaimed.

"So, might I inquire what's in those nachos?" Globgor asked. "And are they vegetarian friendly?"

"Globgor, is this important?" Eclipsa asked her husband.

"Well, Meteora is trying to grab a bag of them from the counter." Globgor pointed out.

Eclipsa gasped with worry. "Meteora! Don't climb up the drawers!" Eclipsa then pushed her way pass Rafael and Angie to retrieve her daughter.

Upstairs, Marco and Moon stood outside of Star's room with the Diaz boy knocking on the wooden surface to get Star's attention.

"Sweetie, it's me and Marco." Moon said as she knocked harder on the wooden surface of her bedroom door. "Sweetie, you need to talk about your problems. Please let us in!"

"Star, me and your Mom are worried about you." Said the worried Marco. "Please open the door."

"Marco, this isn't gonna work." Moon interjected. "When Star felt down I had to do one thing to get her attention…." Moon then started to aggressively knock on her daughter's bedroom door. "….STAR BUTTERFLY! OPEN UP! WE WISH TO-"

"Moon, that's not gonna work." Marco interjected.

"Alright, come in!" Star exclaimed.

Marco and Moon walked in to see Star laying on her bed staring at the window at the night sky. Star looked absolutely guilty and like she had been questioning everything in her life.

"Sweetie, are you okay?" Moon asked.

"Star, I know you might not wish to see us right now." Marco said gently. "But everyone downstairs is so worried about you after what happened."

"Sweetie, is there anything we can do?" Moon asked her daughter. "I know this has gotten to you. And whatever choice you make, me and Marco will be by your side."

"Yeah Star, don't worry." Marco assured his girlfriend. "Eclipsa has got the police protecting the house and they're gonna have someone set up security cameras tomorrow. So…." Marco then did a small nervous chuckle. "…that's gonna be uncomfortable."

"Am I a monster?" Star asked the two people close in her life.

The question caused Marco and Moon to be taken aback. Never have they expected a question from her.

"Sweetie, why would you ask that?" Moon asked.

"Star, that's a stupid thing to ask." Marco said. "Why would you think of yourself as a monster?"

Star sat up and turned to face the two most important people in her life with tears falling from her eyes. "Because I feel like I am." Star replied with tears falling from her face.

"Star." Marco said gently.

"Sweetie." Moon responded, giving her daughter a sympathetic look before she sat next to Star.

Marco soon did the same as Moon and sat next to Star and hugging her as gently as he could.

"Sweetie, don't think of yourself like that." Moon said in an effort to make her daughter feel better.

"But it's true Mom!" Stan argued. "I killed innocent people who've done nothing wrong! How can I not think of myself as a monster?! I destroyed magic and killed magical creatures and ruined anyone's chances of survival in realms that need magic to survive! That's what a monster does and I am that!"

Marco pulled himself out of the hug and gave his girlfriend a sad look. "Star, that's not true. There was no other option to stop Mina."

"What if there was Marco?" Star asked. "What if there was? What if I was too arrogant to think straight? Cause all I could think about was trying to find a way to stay with you! Isn't that being arrogant?!"

"Sweetie, love is a funny thing sometimes." Moon replied. "When me and your father fell in love, I snuck out many nights because my mother wanted me to marry someone else."

"But Mom, this is different!" Star exclaimed. "This isn't the kind of love situation where you sneak out every night so you can make out in the moonlight! This is the kind of love situation where I was so arrogant I wiped out all magic life! How can I make up for that?! How can I?!"

"Star…..I get this is-"

"No!" Star interjected. "You two may be trying, but how is this gonna help me?! I've killed innocents and non-innocents! Why should I be okay?! You two are acting like everything's gonna be okay if you cheer me up! Well it's not! You two should be ashamed for knowing me! Mom, you should be ashamed of me for being your daughter and Marco, how come you aren't ashamed of me being your girlfriend?! Why do other genocidal maniacs get hated while I get praised?! Why do I get this?! I don't deserve it!"

"Star…."

"You two, I need some time alone." Star said as she tried to hold back her tears. "I need time to figure out what I'm gonna do."

Marco and Moon tried to think of an excuse to stay in the room with Star, but they soon realised that they really do need to give Star some space to figure stuff out.

The two jumped off of the bed and walked out of the room and gently closed the door.

Once the two closest people in her life had left, Star let all her emotions out and started crying into her pillow. She felt lost, confused and unsure of what to do about this. Should she give up and turn herself in? Or should she stay and let someone get hurt?

"What should I do?" Star asked as tears continued to fall from her face. "What am I gonna do if there's someone after me and wants me to stand trial?"

"Don't do it, he's just a coward." A familiar voice requested.

Star looked up and saw a familiar face standing in front of her bed. Blue scaly skin, dark slick back hair, long stout and wearing a fancy suit with a red tie.

"Ahh!" Star screamed and threw a lamp at her arch nemesis, but it went through him.

"I'm supposedly dead, remember?" Toffee reminded her.

"But, how am I seeing you?" Star asked.

"You are lost and confused." Toffee replied. "You're questioning wether wiping out the magic was right or wrong and I personally think it's right. Forget about that stupid trial and that man, you need to relax."

Star was about to take Toffee's suggestion until another familiar face jumped on the head. Light blue hair, brown skin, black shorts, pink boots and a pink and white striped shirt; It was Star's friend from another universe, Kelly.

"Kelly?" Star reacted questionably.

"Star, you need to stand trial." Kelly requested intensely. "Because of you, you severed a link for us to see each other again."

"I don't know!" Star exclaimed. "If I stand trial, then everyone will be bummed out and will miss me; But if I don't, then threats will continue."

"Star, you did the right thing in wiping out the magic." Toffee said, trying to encourage the former Princess.

"Right thing?!" Kelly exclaimed. "Do you have any idea what the absence of magic has costed?! Innocent magical creatures who've done nothing all gone! And the much needed resources cease to exist because of her! She needs to stand trial!"

"My quest was to destroy magic." Toffee said calmly. "And Star, did it without me."

"Well congratulations, now Star is a bad guy!" Kelly yelled at the lizard.

"Stop it!" Star yelled.

"Yes Star, that's what people think of you." Toffee said in an effort to make Star angrier then before. "Nothing more then a monster. But you should ignore them. You-"

"No Star, stand trial!" Kelly demanded.

"Don't!" Toffee demanded.

"Stand!" Kelly demanded.

"Don't stand!" Toffee demanded.

While the hallucinations of Kelly and Toffee continued their back and forth. Star was covering her ears to block out the sound of her arch nemesis and one of her closest friends bickering back and forth with each other.

Eventually, Star had enough and quickly dived out of the window landing in the bush from outside the kitchen, where Globgor was still trying to understand nachos with Rafael being his teacher.

But their lesson was cut short when they heard the sound of something big crashing into the bush outside from the house.

"What was that?" Globgor asked.

"Perhaps a tiny little racoon lost its balance." Rafael theorised before Star popped out and started running.

Globgor and Rafael watched as Star started to run away from the house, looking concerned.

"Do racoons on your planet sometimes have blonde hair?" Globgor sarcastically asked.

Rafael sighed with concern. "Poor Star, she must be feeling stressed."

"Should we go after her?" Globgor asked.

"Star needs space." Moon interjected as she and Marco walked downstairs. "I think she needs to be away from people until she wraps her head around things."

"Will she make a good decision?" River asked.

"Star tries to do what's best for everybody." Eclipsa replied. "So whatever it is, we will support her. Even if that decision could be running away."

Meanwhile, Star was running around Echo Creek trying to avoid whatever those hallucinations were doing to her, mentally. But everywhere she went, all she saw was Toffee and Kelly trying to convince her.

Instead of seeing Ludo and his brother, Dennis playing basketball, all she saw was Kelly and Toffee playing basketball.

"Take a shot, Star!" Kelly demanded while dribbling the basketball.

"Come on Star, don't take it!" Toffee yelled while trying to block Kelly from the shot.

Star replied with a scream and ran away while Ludo and Dennis just stared at her with confusion.

"Did Star ever have a fear of basketball?" Dennis asked his brother.

"I don't know." Ludo replied. "But I probably should've utilised it."

Star continued to run Echo Creek while looking around. There, she saw Toffee's face on a billboard holding a bowl of breakfast cereal called 'Furgot.' And it's slogan was, 'Forget about your problem.'

Star then noticed another billboard with Kelly as a mascot holding a sword. With its company being called 'The Vorpal Pawn Shop.' And it's slogan was, 'We care about truth and justice.'

Star continued running while floating heads of Toffee and Kelly were floating around her head in a 360 degree circle each saying the same thing.

"Stand!" Kelly repeated.

"Don't stand." Toffee repeated.

While the floating heads were repeating the same thing in a back and forth motion, Star continued running, feeling the stress and tears falling from her face.

The former princess suddenly tripped over a random rock and landed her head on the hard ground, knocking herself out.

After a number of hours of being unconscious, Star woke up to see a beige ceiling that looked unfamiliar to her.

She started to look around the room to analyse where she was right now. A small brown coffee desk was in front of her, as well as a small TV with a row of books by George Martin on display, a dark green carpet and a half eaten candy bar on the coffee desk.

Just then, a familiar face got into eye view of Star. A more, acquainted face.

"Hello Star." Said the first grade teacher, Mr Rick.

"Mr Rick?" Star reacted in surprise.

"Who else do you think it was?" Mr Rick asked.

Star soon sat up and started to hold her head due to a bad migraine from last night's fall.

"Take it easy." Mr Rick advised Star as he carefully helped her to sit up straight.

"Mr Rick, where am I?" Star asked.

"Well, you aren't in a prison that's for sure." Mr Rick replied. "You are obviously at my place. I found you outside last night on the ground, unconscious. I don't know if you had some of that magic juice you can't buy or something else to try and forget about that problem you're having."

"Mr Rick, the problem is I don't know what's right." Star said. "I made this world all because of how selfish I was. I caused the deaths of innocent magical creatures and destroyed all of the resources in other dimensions. Resources they need to survive. What am I supposed to do?"

"Star, I am not somebody you go to tell you how to handle your life." Mr Rick started. "But I think…." Mr Rick then took a bite out of his candy bar while talking. "…even without magic, I think the other dimensions are doing fine."

"You do?" Star asked.

"Of course." Mr Rick replied. "When I was 9, New York had a power cut for 3 weeks. And do you think we pointed fingers at someone saying that's the bad guy?"

"No." Star replied.

"Of course." Mr Rick confirmed while smiling with his pearly whites showing. "Instead of trying to work forwards, we tried to work backwards. In order to keep our selves from being scared of the dark, we lit candles. And if we wanted to brew tea, we had to use an old timey kettle and cook it over a fire. Star, I wish you wouldn't worry about the others because life always tries to find a way to survive. No matter how wild or practical it is."

Star gave the first grade teacher a smile but she then frowned when she thought about all the magical creatures she had wiped out as well.

"And those magical creatures…" Mr Rick then froze as he tried to think of a way to make Star feel better. "….well, I don't have anything for that."

"I thought you wouldn't." Star retorted. "How can I feel better about all this? I killed my mentor, Glossaryck for goodness sake!"

"I don't have any advice for that but remember one thing for me." Rick requested gently. "Would you do that for me?"

"I'll try." Star replied.

Mr Rick smiled at Star and said, "Sometimes, life isn't gone. They're elsewhere. Don't know where, don't know how. Try and think of it that way, okay?"

"I'll try." Star said with a hint of reluctance.

"Now, I suggest you go home…." Mr Rick stood up and stretched his arms upwards. "….I have stuff to do. And that is control my pudding addiction. Due to my diabetes that landed me in hospital."

Meanwhile, Marco was riding in the sky on his pet dragon-cycle, Nachos all round Echo Creek to try and find his girlfriend. He had been looking for about 45 minutes. And even asked Jackie, Tom and Janna where she went but all came empty handed when it came to information.

"Any sign of her girl?!" Marco loudly asked his dragon-cycle.

Nachos just shook her head as a response before continuing to look down for Star.

"Dang it!" Marco exclaimed. "I doubt we're gonna get much from up here! I think we need to land, girl. That and I've already had flies flew into my-" Just then, a fly flew into Marco's mouth, causing him to start choking.

Nachos decided this was the best time to land and she did just that.

But when Nachos landed with her owner choking, she landed near Star, who happened to be walking back home.

"Marco!" Star exclaimed happily. "How long have I been gone?"

Marco pointed to his open mouth, trying to get his girlfriend to realise he's currently choking.

"Oh, right." Star then forced Marco off his dragon-cycle and started to perform the Heimlich maneuver in order to stop her boyfriend from choking. Star knew she successfully succeeded once the fly flew out of Marco's mouth and into the sky before being eaten by passing dragon-cycle.

"Thanks Star." Marco said before pulling his girlfriend into a tight hug which caught her by surprise. "Where were you?"

"I had a breakdown." Star replied.

"No kidding." Marco retorted as he pulled out of the hug. "Where were you?"

"I ran away from home due to the stress." Star replied. "But then, the first grade teacher Mr Rick took me in and gave me advice. And I won't stand trial. There's a maniac on the loose and we're gonna put a stop to him before he hurts anyone. Because if I know a thing or two about equalists, they will get violent if things won't go their way."

"But Star, you don't have magic, how will you fight them?" Marco asked his girlfriend.

"That's where you come in Mr Diaz." Star replied. "Marco Diaz, I need you to teach me karate."

Elsewhere on the planet, in a snowy landscape rested a giant metal box with no bars or windows. And beside the box, were two people guarding it. One was a man and another was a woman. The both were wearing black body armour along with black masks with goggles that had green lenses.

"Hey." The woman started.

"Yeah." The man replied.

"It's my birthday today." The woman said.

"What?" The man reacted in surprise.

"Yeah."

"Aww man, if you told me this I would've gotten you a cake." The man said feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Don't feel bad, my husband's got a cake waiting for me when I get back." The woman said.

"Oh, save me a piece for our next shift." The male guard requested.

"If it says fresh." The woman laughed.

"But speaking of birthday's, today's mine." The male guard said.

"Oh, happy birthday!" The female guard exclaimed.

"Thank you!" The man exclaimed happily. "Man, it's gonna be so great for when I get back. Me and my partner, Ryan, recently adopted a newborn baby boy who was abandoned by his own parents."

"Aww." The woman reacted.

"Yeah. I can't wait." The man reacted happily. "It has been my dream to be a dad."

"Judging by your upbeat attitude, I think you'll definitely be a positive role model." The female guard said.

"Yeah. Happy birthday to us."

Suddenly, Heckaron snuck up on the two guards and knocked them out with a nerve pinch to the neck.

"Happy birthday to you indeed." Heckaron said, wearing a white version of his signature black robe and boots. "Alright, let's let this snake out."

After about 45 minutes of blowtorches, the unknown equalist group managed to cut the metal cell up. The other members looked inside and at first, there appeared to be nothing. Until, they all got spat in the face by some light orangey golden liquid and a woman, whose skin was nothing more than scales, eyes like a snake and wearing nothing but her underwear.

Heckaron approached the shivering prisoner and handed her some dark purple armour. She stared at the armour and then her saviour with confusion. Did he come here to save her? What was his purpose to freeing her?

"Put it on, you're cold." Heckaron demanded.

The snake woman managed to get into the warm armour which design looked similar to a dragon but without wings. The woman then put on her helmet and finally, a mask. She took a deep breathe, feeling the warmth of her armour after what felt so long.

"Oh, I've misssssssed thissssssss." The snake-like woman said. She noted Heckaron, who was staring at her with a bit of intimidation underneath the mask. "And what are you here for?"

"You are the legendary Viper Rattler?" Heckaron asked.

"Why are you sssssssso curiousssssss?" Viper asked.

"I have a task once you free one of your friends." Heckaron replied. "You love a good game don't you?"

Viper stared at the other masked figure looking interested. Even though she was wearing her mask, she was very, very interested in whatever offer he had for her.
