More Reaper stomping on the way.
Over the SA's Earth
October 7th, 2913 UNC (United Nations Calendar) /2186 CE
(like 30 minutes after the delegation fleet arrived in the serpent nebula)
Harbinger was not having a good day. Scratch that, he wasn't having a good week. First of all, Shepard managed to make peace with the Geth and Quarians. That should have been impossible, but he simply ignored it as an anomaly. They would be dealt with like any other species.
Then he loses all contact with the Reaper force in the Pax system. The last thing he heard was a massive fleet had appeared out of nowhere. So as a precaution, he sent 300 Reaper vessels to investigate it. What he found sent shivers down his non-existent spine.
The fleet was massive. Over 300 vessels were 5 kilometres long, over 2000 ships were the length of the Asari Destiny Ascension, and the rest were either a kilometre long or 500-metre automated escort craft. What caused him worry was the 40-kilometre vessels that devastated the entire Reaper force with ease. Soon, he loses contact with all Reaper forces attacking the Chatti colony.
And to top it all off, he learns that the Reapers were not simply fighting a new race, they were fighting an entirely new galaxy. One not dependent on Eezo had much more of a galaxy at their fingertips, and the desire to wipe them off the map. That didn't mention the massive fleet heading towards the galaxy.
The worst part for Harbinger was that this Coalition of Allied Nations wasn't simply headed by some impotent fool, but Humans. Somehow, an ancient race had created two Earths, which had the same history until the Human's 21st century. And this new Earth had born a species that challenged the stars and had the power of an entire galaxy at their fingertips.
Now, he could only watch as this Coalition declared their war against the Reapers. He watched as thousands of more vessels poured from an extragalactic cluster of stars and into the Pax System. He was going to need to be creative to win against this new foe.
Unfortunately for him and the Reapers, the United Nations of Solar Species and their allies were more than prepared to fight the Reapers on their terms.
The Citadel, the Council Chambers
"Commander Shepard, how come when you are around, something in the galaxy dramatically changes?" Hackett asked.
"I don't know sir. It was just that I happened upon their fleet and was the only one to not be shot." Shepard shrugged.
After dropping the Normandy and its crew back at the Citadel, Field Marshal Ross and the UNS Taipei departed with its cruiser escort. Leaving behind the Citadel Defense force, the Coalition delegation fleet, and the SR2 Normandy. Not that it mattered, since the Coalition had appeared with one very large spaceship that was bigger than the Citadel. Almost nobody could believe the fact that it was solely dedicated to repairing, building, and upgrading ships. Few could get around the fact that it was operated by a Human/Solarian nation.
"So, let's go over what has happened. You, Commander Shepard, made peace with the Geth and Quarians, helped clear up more issues with the Krogan and Turians, and now you've discovered our apparent cousins from another galaxy that has brought a large number of warships. Said ships are bigger than Quarian live ships, more heavily armoured than the Destiny Ascension, and can even cloak. And supposedly they simply want to blow something up. Is that correct?" Valern said in a bit of disbelief.
"Don't forget the technology, the weapons, semi-immortal supersoldiers, teleportation, advanced FTL, and sensors that can pierce our cloaking tech. This is...simply unimaginable" Tali added.
Before Tevos could scold Tali for speaking, Spartacus raised his hand. "Thank you, Admiral Zorah. You are correct. Never in the history of this galaxy have we experienced a variable such as this….faction."
"And we're supposed to be meeting them in 10 minutes. This isn't good." Valern grumbled.
"Well, let's just wait and see what they are planning next," Shepard said.
After 10 minutes of waiting, a flash of light appeared, and 24 alien delegates and 12 marines from different species appeared. 2 of the delegates were Human. As it turned out, the Coalition could now amaze everyone with their teleportation technology.
2 seconds of shock silence later, Tevos finally gathered the nerve to speak up.
"Thank you, counsellors. I am Admiral Zortona of the Vissari Planetary Directorate. I stand as the lead representative of the Coalition of Allied Nations." one of the bird-like creatures that spoke. (the Vissari are Species Avian, Normal 10).
"Uh thank you, Admiral. Can you tell us more about your organization?" Valern asked.
"Certainly. In the short version, the Coalition of Allied Nations is the overarching alliance of all of our nations and species. In the least amount of words that I can put it in, it is our version of your Citadel Council, though every species and nation has a seat. Currently, we have 25 national members and 73 species within the Coalition." The admiral spoke.
Everyone's jaws drop at this statement. "73 SPECIES!?" someone screeched. Anyone not affiliated with the Coalition had nearly the same thoughts.
"Why yes. The galaxy is a big place. Though most species are protectorate, vassals, or directly uplifted into one of the major powers, with the United Nations of Solar Species and the Commonwealth of Man being chief examples. Both have a population of over 3 trillion, and have over a dozen species within them." Zortona said. Shepard noticed that the Humans smirked at this.
"Who are they again? The data you sent over wasn't entirely clear on which species started them, nor any specific details." Valern asked.
"Both the Commonwealth and the United Nations are nations that were created by Humans, who still represent the majority of their respective populations. They both hold the largest fleets, economies, population, and are the most technologically advanced outside of the Eldar Alliance." Zortona explained.
"Great, now we have to deal with two human nations from another galaxy. Wonderful." Garrus whispered to Shepard. This causes him to groan as both he, Tali, and Garrus wonder what the field marshal was doing.
En route to the Trebia system via hyperlanes, at the exact same moment.
UNS Taipei, 10th fleet.
"Thank god that hyperlanes exist here. Without them, logistics would be harder." Ross sighed.
Back in the home galaxy, scientists had scrounged up what Eezo there was and experimented on it. While Eezo did naturally form in their galaxy, Coalition scientists determined that the Reapers had accelerated the production of Eezo to funnel civilizations into their trap.
While there were some promising results coming from Eezo research, scientists discovered that Eezo was incompatible with the Jump drives that the Coalition used for long-range FTL. They also discovered that it severely hampered their current sensors for some reason. While very little was affected, they noticed one very major thing, Hyperlane points were obstructed from sensor view when Eezo tech was infused with a ship. This would explain why no Triangulum galaxy Species never found hyperlanes after they found Eezo.
Still, the hyperlanes still existed, and the COalition used them to their advantage. Right now, all 8000 warships of the United Nations 10th fleet were en route to provide support to the beleaguered defenders of Trebia. Due to the overheating of the Jumpdrive, the Taipei simply couldn't jump directly into the system, instead of using the hyperlanes to have the fleet arrive in force at once.
Admiral Limburn came up from behind."Well, lucky us. And the Reapers seem to have completely neglected the Hyperlane network as well. Anyways, coming up on the Trebia system in 3, 2, 1."
The Taipei exited the streak of light, along with its entire fleet of Battleships, Battlecarriers, Cruisers, and escorts. They found the system embroiled in a large-scale battle.
"Sensors, get me numbers on the ships in this region," Limburn ordered.
"Yes sir. We have 3 Dreadnaughts, 4 carriers, 109 Cruisers, and over 500 Frigates of various types, belonging to Turian, Quarian, and Systems Alliance forces. As for the Reapers, we have 80 Sovereign classes and over 2000 destroyer classes. We also have what appears to be some sort of 3 kilometre long vessels, 5 of them. I'm guessing these are some sort of hive ship." the sensor officer reported.
"Good job. Comms, hail the Turian defenders." Limburn ordered.
"I'll head out sweetcheeks, gonna get my marines, soldiers, and tanks ready," Ross said.
"Good luck, and don't die." Ross left to ready the ground forces of the 10th fleet, while Limburn analyzed the battlespace.
"Got it, patching you through to General Corinthus." the comms officer reported. A Turian with faded gold lines on his face appears.
"(Comms) This is General Corinthus of the Turian Hierarchy hailing the Coalition fleet approaching. You are reinforcements?"
"General Corinthus, this Fleet Admiral Sophia Limburn of the United Nations of Solar Species. I have 8000 warships at my disposal and I can land several million marines and soldiers onto Palaven. Where do you want us?"
"(Comms) When they said that Humans were coming from another galaxy, we seriously weren't expecting a whole army coming. Reaper forces are hounding the remnants of the Turian 34th fleet and the Quarian reinforcements. I also have a bunch of Reaper Destroyers hounding the Krogan transport lines. Sending you coordinates, save those ships, Admiral."
"Copy that General. Get me Vice-Admirals Jackson and Kenshiro on the line." 2 Humans in UN admiral clothing appear.
"Admiral Jackson, take your carriers, along with the 2098th Battleship squadron and reinforce the Citadel fleet at these coordinates. Admiral Kenchiro, take your escort group and defend those Krogan transports." Limburn ordered. She received acknowledgements and over 100 vessels peeled off to relieve the battered 34th fleet while 500 automated corvettes and destroyers, along with 4 command carriers and 2 battleships rushed towards the defence of the transports.
"General I have several divisions that can be used to support operations in Trebia. Give me a location and I'll send several Infantry and Armour units to your aid."
"(Comms) I'm requesting reinforcements on the moon of Menae. We could use air cover and some light armour. Most of our fleet has pulled back closer to the Relays, so we've got little in fighter cover left."
"Understood." Limburn then rang up Ross. "Victor, General Corinthus has requested aid on the moon of Menae. What infantry and light armour units can you scrap up."
"(Comms) I have the entirety of the 307th Infantry Division, 598th light armour division, along with the 2074th Hunter Killer Regiment on standby. 101st and 9006th rapid response divisions are on standby as well. Ross reported.
"Deploy all 5 units to Menae. And commander the UNS Argoran battle carrier and it's escorts. You're gonna need the support." Limburn replied
"(Comm) Yes Ma'am, prepping transports."
"General Corinthus, Anything else? I still have several thousand warships, along with hundreds of repair vessels on standby." Limburn asked.
"(Comms) Send what support and repair vessels to the 309th Alliance flotilla. They need repairs asap. Otherwise, hold back and remain as reserves."
"Understood General. We'll take it again once we've cleared a path to Menae. Taipei Actual out." Limburn then watched her holo table, observing as
As Vice Admiral Jackson's group had approached, the Reapers pinning the Turian 34th fleet had turned to face the newcomers. Initially shocked at the appearance of 8 5km dreadnaughts and 8 5km long battle carriers, the Reapers turned and raced towards the fleet, in hopes of grappling onto the enemy ships and tearing them apart.
"(Comms) They're in range. Giga Cannons, open fire!"
The 8 battleships spat out 16 200-ton tungsten shells. With 2 shells per Reaper, they slammed into the Kinetic Barriers of the squids, shattering it and hitting home their targets. The shells penetrated the Reaper capital ships and ended up hitting several unlucky Reaper destroyers behind them.
Limburn watched as 8 Reaper Capital ships exploded, along with 11 Reaper destroyers. That was when the 8 supercarriers of Jackson's fleet unleashed thousands of manned strike craft.
"(Comms) All Star-Chasers, you are cleared to engage enemy strike craft and destroyers. Let there be not one reaper fighter or one destroyer in my A.O!"
Taken by surprise by the thousands of new strike craft, the Reapers, hastily launch drones to counter the new threat. However, for once, the galaxy had both quantity and quality on its side.
"(Comms) This is Headhunter 1, I have a lock. Fox 2!, Fox 2!"
Thousands of anti-strikecraft missiles were released from F60 Starchasers interceptors and began to systematically wipe out Oculi drones left and right. A few drones managed to fire their fusion beams but said beams were simply absorbed harmlessly by the shields of the strike craft.
"(Comms) Charge Gamma Beams and fire!"
From the 16 battleships and battlecruisers, bright gold beams of light were fired off and simply pierced the Reaper's barriers. One unfortunately Reaper destroyer was cut in half, while another had its tentacles cut off.
Finally, in range, the surviving Reapers managed to fire off its red beam cannons. However, said cannons harmlessly reflected off the battleships' shields. Another order was given and over 40 Gamma laser turrets, 80 plasma cannons, and over a hundred autocannons opened up. The Reaper fleet stood no chance.
"(Comms) Hostiles neutralized 29 Sovereign classes, 57 Destroyer classes. No Casualties." Vic Admiral Jackson reported.
Menae, joint military command center.
It didn't matter if you were Quarian, Human, Turian, or Krogan. Everyone in the Command Center dropped what they were doing and watched this unknown fleet obliterate a major Reaper force.
"Keelah…..and to think these are Humans." One Quarian said.
"Jesus and they were at peace just 20 years ago? Where the hell did they get those things from?" a Human soldier asked.
"Spirits…. Super Dreadnaughts as Cruisers. No wonder everything in the Paz system died. Any nation that touts that firepower around is just, insane." a Turian added.
The Krogans just laugh. "See that ship? It's seen heavy action!"
One Krogan points at one of the screens, showing the UNS Argoran as it, several troop transports, and escorts approaching Menae.
"I recognize that mark on metal anywhere. That ship was nearly split in half from the front by some sort of mass accelerator." the Krogan said.
General Corinthus just shook his head. Almost everyone was either watching or talking about the newcomers and their ships. He couldn't blame them, Humans with ships bigger than the Citadel. If that didn't get the debate on where the species of the galaxy came from, then the few million warships from several different species en route to reinforce their positions certainly proved something.
He himself took a look at the UNS Argoran. He had to admit, the Krogan was right. Despite the decent paint job (Similar to the Alliance's colours, only with the same blue as the UN flag), he noticed a pretty faint scar that looked like it had come from a mass accelerator or energy weapon of some kind. That was when his comms rang, interrupting his thought process.
"(Comms) General Corinthus, this is Field Marshal Ross. Callsign, Tiger Actual. Requesting a zone to land the 307th and 598th divisions."
"This is General Corinthus, copy the Sydney Actual. Sending you coordinates. Can you see about getting some bombers down here as well? We've got a reaper destroyer hounding our lines here."
"(Comms) I just got the thing. Argoran Actual, this is Tiger Actual. Launch 2 Hog squadrons and take out the Reaper destroyer at Grid reference delta foxtrot, 4239. Send ground troops to these coordinates and secure us an LZ."
From several screens, Corinthus watched as the Aragon launched 48 fighter craft. Something was definitely recognizable about these crafts before he put his finger on them.
"Tiger Actual, this is General Corinthus. Are those spirits to gods Warthogs from the 21st century of yours?"
"(Comms) Design-wise, they are similar. In reality, these Hogs are so much more advance. Just watch."
"(Comms) This is Weveryn 1-1 to all Weveryn elements. Targets are locked, engaging Reaper forces.
To the shock of Corinthus, and most of the ground forces fighting the Reaper destroyer, 8 strike craft charged the Reaper destroyer, when their guns began opening up.
"(Comms) This is Weveryn 1-1, I got a lock. Guns, Guns, Guns."
For some reason, the familiar screech of the cannons erupted from the Hogs. The sound once only heard from movies and vids came the semi-familiar BBBBBBRRRRTTTTT as the Hogs tore right into the Reaper destroyer. At the same time, blue streaks of light came from the wings Despite having kinetic barriers, several energy pulse shots impacted the Reaper, causing its shields to collapse and opening a hole for the hundreds of high-velocity explosive rounds to make contact.
Normally, regular tungsten shells would simply embed themselves into the Reapers harmlessly, except these were not simply full tungsten shells. These were filled with volatile motes, the same used in ship reactor fuel, civilian energy generators, and explosives. A few grams of it could cause serious issues for older capital ships. The Reapers stood no chance.
Dozens of explosions erupted from the Reapers. It collapsed in a spectacular fashion, leaving only lunar dust and the shocked looks of Council forces.
"(Comms) This is Weveryn 1-1, target suppressed. Requesting new fire missions."
Immediately, the Comm lines became filled with requests for airstrikes on Reaper targets. Within a few minutes. 48 Hogs (Corinthus later discovered that these indeed were Warthogs, under the A89 Warthog MKV designation, since it had come a long way since the 21st century) became over 200, then a thousand. F60 Starchasers filled the sky, swatting down Oculi drones left and right. Frontlines thought to be on the verge of collapse suddenly found plenty of breathing room and vigorously charged back into the fray. Units once encircled by the Reapers found themselves leading the charger under the power of the UN's aircover.
Soon, another UN battle carrier arrived, providing much-needed reinforcements to Krogan, Turian, Quarian, and Human forces on the ground. Then soon, the comms were field with new information.
"(Comms) This is the 49th Platoon, what's with the Human ships in….. OH SPIRITS! They're dropping tanks from orbit!"
"(Comms) Oh shit, move, MOVE! (insert large metal object crashing to the ground) What the fuck?!"
"(Comms) Well we now know these pyjaks are not actually pyjaks. Wait, they're dropping infantry as well? And Mechs? The party's started now!"
"(Comms) Spirits! This is more insane than the Geth dropping out of the sky!"
"(Comms) How is this possible!? Tanks and Mechs? Keelah, what kind of tech do they have!?"
Soon more calls of surprised crises rang out, as a few regiments of troops were dropped directly onto the frontlines to support Citadel troops. Corinthus watched as several armoured vehicles, many of which have some resemblance to 21st Century Human MBTs, immediately engaged Reaper forces. He noticed that these tanks had some sort of coaxial energy weapon, as it spewed blue energy beams at unlucky Reaper forces.
"(Comms) All Callsigns, this is Tiger Actual. Today is the day we finally begin to erase this Reaper menace. For too long, we've sat comfortable and lazily behind the Battlestations of our systems while our cousins fight tooth and nail to survive. No more! We shall purge these Reapers from this galaxy, and prove to the universe why we fight matters! It's time once more for the Coalition to bring salvation and aid to those in need. Marines, Tankers, soldiers, pilots, it's time to earn your battle scars! Begin Operation Red Hammer and bring down these so-called Reapers to their knees!"
"(Comms from thousands of people) ORRAHH!"
The cheer and rallying brought the spirits of the Citadel forces up more. With the help of the new Humans, the forces of the galaxy began to rally once and attacked Reaper forces. He watched as 2 UN tanks joined a joint Krogan and Turian platoon, their heavy rail guns and energy weapons firing and ripping apart Reaper soldiers left and right.
"Sorry for scaring the shit out of your troops General." a familiar voice rang out from behind. Corinthus turned to see the same man whose troops had single-handedly turned the entire battle around. Even though he knew, Corinthus was stunned to see a Human bring a vast army to help up.
"Thank you, Field Marshal. I'll take any sort of reinforcements at this point, even ones falling out of the sky."
"Why thank you, General. We're here to help out, and we're staying until the Reapers are gone."
Corinthus turned to his holo table. "Spirits, you Humans just dropped an entire division, 15,000 soldiers, on top of Reaper lines. What kind of arms race would you need to build such a thing?"
"Well, this tech is kind of old for us. We've actually haven't had a war since the Unbidden invasion and the Dust War. Been at peace for 200 years, now we're here to kick up the cobwebs." Ross replied. Corinthus then noticed that Ross was carrying a rotary cannon and a rocket launcher.
"Spirits, I don't want to know what's going on in your galaxy for you to need to carry a rocket launcher with you." Corinthus shook his head as he continued observing allied forces push Reapers back on all fronts. "What in the ancestors were you fighting in your last war? I've seen that battle scars on that carrier of yours"s.
"Last major galactic conflict was against a race of Psionic energy beings that wanted to kill us all. The UNS Argoran took a hit from an Arc emitter from an Unbidden battleship, yet the carrier kept on fighting. The last major ground war was around 50 years ago, against a race of monsters that were plaguing the poor inhabitants of a world with a shattered moon. Ended up dropping 200 million troops instantly to help them." Ross shrugged.
Corinthus just looked at Ross as if he was crazy. He knew Humans were unorthodox with their military strategies, but these newcomers were something else if they had the ability to land 200 million troops on a planet in one go.
40 Kilometers away from the allied command center.
Quarian marine Kal Reegar, along with a joint platoon of Turians and Quarians, was in a fierce battle for survival against several Reaper Husks, Cannibals, and Harvesters. Low on thermal clips and ammo, they prepared to make their last stand.
"This is Quarian Marine Sergeant Kal Reegar to any allied forces listening, we need air support and reinforcements on our location now!
"(Comms) Sergeant Reegar, this Thunderbird. I'm routing a platoon of Liberator MBTs and 4 platoons of marines en route to your positions. I also have Warrior flight on standby on your go."
"Yes! Anything helps now! Throwing smoke on our locations." Kal throws down a smoke grenade, releasing a green smoke.
"(Comms) This is warrior 1-1, I got your smoke Sergeant. Going in for guns.
That was when 4 strike craft swooped in from the skies and rapidly approached the beleaguered defenders.
"(Comms) Targets acquired and locked. Guns guns guns."
The ear shrieking BBBBBBRRRRTTTT startled many Turians and Quarians, who looked up to see 4 angels of death flying overhead, riddling the Reaper heavies with tungsten-volatile motes rounds. Two harvesters fell from the skies, with Cannibals and brutes exploding from the explosive power of the shells. Husks simply were turned into vapour, and a Marauder simply disappeared.
"(Comms) This is Warrior 1-1, run complete. Requesting BDA."
Reegar looked at the carnage inflicted and smiled. In less than 30 seconds, a company's worth of Reaper forces disappeared. "Warrior 1-1, that was a damn good run. BDA is 95 over 100."
"(Comms) Wilco Sergeant. We're establishing orbit, will be ready for the next run in 40 seconds. Warrior 1-1 out."
That was when something looked like it was falling out of the sky. Said something landed right on top of a surviving Cannibal, turning it into a paste. What stunned the Coalition troops was that thing that fell out of the sky was a tank. A tank resembling an old-fashioned Human armoured MBT prior to discovering mass effect technology.
And that was when its short stubby little gun turned and fired a round at a Reaper Marauder. The reaper died instantly. Several husks began to run up to the tank but were cut down by some sort of coaxial energy beam weapon that was gold in nature.
After all the Reapers were wiped out, the hatch on the turret of the tank opened, revealing a species Reegar had never seen before. It resembles a Human fox, though with a longer nose, and bright orange fur. (reference: Slender #3)
Said fox-like creature spoke. "Sergeant Reegar, this is tank Commander Morican Tuplov of the 4th tank platoon of the Nova Company. We got your call and are ready for your orders."
Reegar wanted to faint. Only the Humans and Krogan were stupid enough to fall out of orbit in an armoured tin can. Now he found another species that did the same. Then he remembered that a large coalition of aliens from another galaxy, including more Humans, and that they were more advanced than any of the species.
"Welcome to Menae, the moon of the Turian homeworld and the lynchpin of our defences. I'm glad that someone just as crazy as the Humans and Krogan joined the fun. Plenty of targets for all."
"Glad to serve. Point us towards the enemy." that was when 4 more tanks slammed into the ground, each resembling the tanks dropped.
"Spirits, what kind of vehicles are those?" a Turian Private asked.
"This 50-ton behemoth, my friends, is the M7A3 Liberator Main Battle Tank. Courteously designed by Humans and AIs for use by the United Nations tank corps. Suited for all species, armed with a short-barreled 130 millimetres Gauss Cannon, Coaxial Gamma Pulse laser, another Gamma pulse turret in a turret on above, and anti-tank missiles. Also uses some antigrav technology that allows us to survive medium orbit drops." Commander Tuplov smiled as she watched the bewilderment of the Turians. "Now come along, we have a war to fight."
"Well, the Reapers are fucked." someone mentioned. Reegar had to agree. The tides had just turned, and the Reapers would soon feel the Wrath of the newcomers.
The coalition of Allied Nations:
It's somewhat ironic that the birth of the modern UNS was caused by the downfall of a coalition, and now a new age has been started by an organization called the Coalition. The Coalition of Allied Nations is a reformed version of the Mutual Assistance Pact and the Galactic Community. It has also its roots in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as the Coalition has adopted Article 5: An attack on one is an attack on all. The Coalition has many similarities to the Human Systems Alliance and the Citadel Council. One major difference is that the governing body is controlled by every species and every nation. Militarily, the Coalition has several task forces under its control. Most notably is Task Force Unity, a collection of 30,000 warships and support vessels, several million soldiers, hundreds of thousands of strike craft and tanks, and one of the newer Juggernauts from all nations.
A89 Warthog MKV Striker aircraft (because what good air force would be complete without a Warthog?):
While many aircraft, vehicles, and weapons from other nations would be phased out for newer designs, one strike craft would remain too persistent and stubborn to simply die: the infamous Warthog. The current model is built around a 6 barreled 40mm Stormfire Autocannon, the same featured on Coalition warships and defensive installations. In Addition, it is also equipped with a pair of Gamma laser pulse cannons, which causes an EMP or shock effect on targets that are hit. The Warthog (sometimes called the angel of death of hog) has hardpoints for 18 cluster missile pods, ATGMs, AAMs, and other assorted weapons. Fueled by a micro zero-point energy core and lifted with VTOL gravity engines, the Warthog has claimed the throne of the best anti-ground and anti-ship strike craft. All simply because it was too stubborn to die.
M7A4 Liberator Main Battle Tank.
Whether on the land of a war game exercise, the offence of a pirate planet, the defence of a primitive world, or being paraded as a show of strength, Human tanks have proven their worth. Very few nations have built armour vehicles or even counters to the UN or Commonwealth's armour. During the second age of Enlightenment and the Dust War, it was discovered that they needed an armoured vehicle that could fit all species. Enter the M7A4 Liberator, the latest model of the Liberator line of tanks. The Liberator can trace its lineage to the Shordona MBTs of the age of conflict or the old tanks of Earth of the 21st Century. Aside from its impressive armament of Railguns and Gamma pulse lasers, it also adopts the Shordona's ability to be dropped from a reasonable attitude and survive with the tank, its equipment, supplies, and crew intact.
(the tanks resemble this design, though with a coaxial energy weapon. Not mine, I'm not taking credit btw, this is just to get an idea of it): url?sa=i&url=https% -tank&psig=AOvVaw3wsSfurB4_wSlXJZOMmhEj&ust=1635703310849000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAsQjRxqFwoTCPj-huzb8vMCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAZ
