Happy anniversary! I can't believe that it's been two years since I first posted this story! I want to thank everybody who has read it.

"I know we are all saddened by Sun Hi's departure, but the show must go on! Now, I have looked at what will happen at nationals, and like last time there will be four rounds, but this time, each round will have a different category. Round one will be male solos. Round two will be female solos. The semi finals will be duets and the final round will be the whole band."

"Male solo? But this is an all girl band!"

"What about you?"

"I'm just the guy who does the music."

"Not anymore. As of right now, you are a singer! Corki, you will do the female solo."

"Me? Perform? Alone? At a national competition? In front of all those people?"

"And last but not least. Jodi and Caleb, I want you guys to sing the duet together! And I want it to be a romantic duet! Those are the best kind!"

"You want me to sing a romantic duet with my ex?"

"Who are you?"

"My name is Ae-Young An. I am the principal of this school."

"You!"

"What are you doing here?!"

"Because of you I got kicked out of Mackendrik and had to start coming here! You go here?!"

"I want Sun Hi to join the It Girls. She is exactly what we need to win nationals."

"What do you mean win nationals?

"The It Girls entered and won another regional contest This means they can go through to nationals."

"I am not letting her in my band!"

"It may be your band but this is my school and this is a school competition. So either Sun Hi joins your band, or you guys don't go to nationals at all."

Episode 13 Convince the Parents

The Next Day

The It Girls and I were in music class watching a boy sing.

"His range isn't high enough", Emma stated

"What do you mean", I asked.

"We need a male singer for the competition", Emma reminded me.

"Right", I said in realisation. "So, any takers."

"Not really", Emma revealed.

And that's when I got an idea.

That Afternoon

One dream of mine finally came true.

I was in a limo!

"I see you like the limo Ms Song", Cyril said from the driver's seat.

"I love it", I said. "It's a dream come true!"

"Is another dream of yours to visit a mansion", Cyril asked. "If so, then look out the window."

With that I looked out the window, and smiled in awe.

We were driving up to a beautiful mansion!

The limo stopped and Cyril opened the door for me.

I walked out of the limo and looked at the mansion in awe.

"Do you like it", Cyril asked.

"I love it", I replied before taking out my phone. "This is Insta worthy!"

With that I took a selfie in front of the mansion.

"I see you like my mansion."

With that I turned around and saw Linc.

"Linc", I said happily before running up and hugging said person.

"Hey babe", Linc greeted before putting his arm around my shoulders. "How's the new school going."

"Good and bad", I replied. "Good, I still get to compete at nationals. Bad, the leader of the band I'm competing with this even more of a diva than I am!"

"That's rough honey", Linc stated. "So. Why did you come to visit. Not that I mind, but I am curious."

"I have a proposal for you", I revealed. "My bad needs a male member for the competition, and I was wondering if you wanted to be that member."

"Be a member of your new band", Linc asked in shock.

"Yeah", I replied. "It will be much easier to tolerate Emma if you were in the band with me."

"As much as I would love to do that, I would have to convince my parents."

Then, Linc started thinking.

"I've got it", he said suddenly. "My parents are holding a party tonight. You should come. That way you can woo my parents into letting me enter the contest."

"Wooing is what I do best."

...

Caleb was working on some music at Club Ry Ri when Jodi walked up to him.

"Hey Caleb", she greeted. "You wanted to see me?"

"Yes I did my dear Jodi", Caleb replied before standing up. "I have been working on a duet for us. Check it out!"

With that Caleb put his headphones on Jodi and pressed a button on his computer.

"What you think", he asked.

"This is great Caleb", Jodi stated.

"Thanks", Caleb said before passing Jodi a notepad. "Here are the lyrics."

With that Jodi took off the headphones and read the lyrics.

"These are really good Caleb", she stated.

"You really think so", Caleb asked.

"I do", Jodi replied.

"Thanks", Caleb Said. "Do you wanna try the song out?"

"Right now", Jodi asked.

"Yeah", Caleb replied. "Is that okay."

"Sure", Jodi replied. "Why not?"

With that Jodi and Caleb performed 'Rewrite the Stars' together.

When they were done, Corki walked into Club Ry Ri clapping.

"That was amazing guys", she stated.

"I'll say", Sun Hi said as she walked into Club Ry Ri.

"Sun Hi", Jodi says happily. "What are you doing here?"

"I need help from my girls", Sun Hi revealed. "Linc invited me to his parents' party tonight. So Jodi, I need you to help me with my outfit. And Corki, I need you to teach me how to be all fancy."

That Night

Sun Hi walked out of the limo in front of Linc's mansion.

She was wearing a baby pink, ankle length dress with gold straps, a button up torso with gold buttons and a thin gold band around the waist; gold, open toed high heels; gold, elbow length gloves; gold, heart shaped stud earrings and a baby pink chocker with a gold, heart shaped pendant.

Her hair was loose and in tight waves.

She was wearing baby pink eyeshadow with gold eyeshadow at the top; black mascara; baby pink blush and baby pink lipgloss.

Her nails were painted baby pink with gold tips.

Linc walked up to Sun Hi in a tux.

"Hey babe", he greeted before kissing her cheek. "You look beautiful as always."

"But of course", Sun Hi stated.

Linc then held out his arm.

"Shall we", he asked.

"We shall", Sun Hi replied before linking her arm with Linc's.

With that the two walked into the mansion and up to two people.

"Mom", Linc started. "Dad. I want to introduce you to someone. This is my girlfriend, Sun Hi Song."

"A pleasure to meet you dear", Linc's father greeted before holding out his hand.

"The pleasure is all mine", Sun Hi stated as she shook Mr Harrison's hand.

"It's so nice to finally meet you", Mrs Harrison stated.

"Tell us a bit about yourself", Linc's father said.

"What would you like to know", Sun Hi asked.

"For starters, tell us what school do you go to", Linc's father said.

"I go to the Toronto Academy of Performing Arts", Sun Hi revealed.

"So you're a performer", Linc's mother asked.

"Yes", Sun Hi replied. "I'm a singer."

"A singer", Linc's mom asked. "Well then, you just must sing for us."

"Really", Sun Hi asked. "Okay. Will you sing with me Linc?"

"But of course", Linc replied. "Let me just go grab my guitar."

Five Minutes Later

Sun Hi and Linc were standing together.

They performed 'Unciage Hanabi', and when they were done, everybody broke out into a loud applause!

"That was wonderful", Linc's mother stated. "You are an amazing singer Sun Hi!"

"Indeed", Linc's father agreed. "And your voice compliments my son's well."

"Speaking of Linc and I singing together", Sun Hi started. "I'm in a band at my school and we're competing in a national competition at the end of the school year."

"A national competition", Linc's mother asked. "That sounds exciting."

"It is", Sun Hi agreed. "But we need a male member for the competition. So I asked Linc if he wanted to be that member."

"You want Linc to be a member of your band", Linc's father asked in shock.

"Please consider it mom and dad", Linc asked. "It would be an amazing opportunity. And it would look good on a college application."
