Adrien:Marinette felt better the next day while I caught her cold. "Are you sure you don't want to stay? I can take care of you." Marinette asked.

"No, I need to get home. First, I want to give you something." I popped open the trapdoor and grabbed the box With the Mockingjay necklace. "I was going to give this to you yesterday but I decided to take care of you instead." I opened the box and the Mockingjay necklace sat there.

"Oh my God! It's a mockingjay!" Marinette admired the pendant.

"You like it?" I asked. I could tell she didn't like it, she loved it.

"Are you kidding? I love it! Can you put it on me?" I smiled and took the necklace out of the box. Marinette put her hair to one side. I wrapped the necklace around her neck and froze.

Visions appeared in my head. Nightmares. open quote! What are you doing?" Mari's voice rang in my head. 3 Vision showed.

I was in an alley. I was choking someone. Marinette was in the background, scared, screaming for me to stop. She was crying. Her tears glimmered in the night light. "Cats are very protective of their things, and when you hurt those things, it doesn't end well." I said in a menacing voice. "Please stop" The man cried. The vision went dark and the second one appeared.

The second one was way worse. I was watching an akuma choke ladybug. Tears in her eyes. I just stood there as she stared at me. She was terrified. I could tell by the fear in her eyes. She mouthed "I love you" to me as she yelled one final cry and a crack. After, silence. That wasn't even the worst one.

The third one. I took the Mockingjay necklace and tightened it around Marinette's neck. She cried and begged for me to stop. I killed her. I released the necklace and Marinette's body fell to the ground with chain marks imprinted on her neck.

I snap back to reality. I looked at my hands about to latch the necklace. "Chat, you okay?" I shook my head and blinked a few times.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I lied. I can hear the uncertainty in my voice. I finished putting the necklace on Marinette. She turned to look at me and I grabbed her hand. "I need to go now." I gave her a quick kiss on her forehead. I held her hand and let go when I got too far. She turned around and watched me go up the stairs to the trapdoor. I climbed out of the room and jumped home. I flew through the window and released my transformation. I flopped on my bed, trying to forget the nightmares.

"You ok kid?" Plagg asked.

"I don't know." I said into my pillow. I sat up straight and looked at Plagg. "Have any of your owners have any," I paused trying to to think of the word. "visions?"

"Like of the future, possibilities of the future?"

"Like, what could happen, but nightmarish and scary." I explained.

"Sometimes but that's more of a guardian ability than a miraculous holder's ability. It will only happen if there was an alternate timeline or something big was going to come up. Even then, it's likely to be foreseen by a Ladybug miraculous holder." Plagg explained.

So, either something big going on or was I just daydreaming?
"Chill kid, I get it. There is always one holder that gets nightmares about their love dying. I get." Plagg said, trying to comfort me. "Your line of work is pretty dangerous but only 2 out of 4 miraculous holders die from superheroing." My phone rang and it was Marinette. I got another phone so I could call Marinette when I'm not Chat Noir.

"Hello?" I answered

open fault hey, shot here. What happened? You just kind of stormed off. That's not like you." Marinette said on the other side of the line.

"Adrian, are you up yet?" I heard Natalie knock on my door.

"Hold on a minute." I told Marinette. I put myself on you so then she couldn't hear me. "Yeah, I'm awake!"

"You are scheduled to eat with your father today."

"I'll be there in a minute." I heard Natalie walk away and I unmuted myself. "I'm back."

"Are you okay?" as then what into a sneezing fit. I'm fine, just a little tiny cold."

"I knew you shouldn't have stayed, now you're sick."

"It's ok, really, I'll be fine. Trust me."

"Ok." I heard Marinette yell something to someone. "I need to help my parents in the bakery. I'll talk to you later. Love you."

"Love you too." I hung up the phone and went to breakfast. My father was already there. "Hello father." I said.

"Good morning Adrien." My father said.

I felt a sneeze coming and tried my best to keep it in. I walked over to my chair and took a seat. There was only silence as we ate our meal. "Achoo!" The sneeze finally came out.

"Bless you." Natalie said.

"Well Adrien." My Father shifted uncomfortably in his chair. "I see you have a cold. No doubt you got it from one of your friends." I was in shock. How did he know? I was so careful to make it seem like I was home or at school the entire week. "What? You think I didn't notice you sneaking off. Tell me Adrien, where have you been going?" I didn't have an answer. I never expected him to find out. He's always working. I'm still surprised he found out.

"I-I uh." I had to tell him the truth. "I was going to one of my closest friend's houses."

"Oh really? Who is this friend?"

"Marinette. She was the girl who one the hat making contest at school. She also auditioned for Ladybug for Clara Nightingale's music video." My father took another bite of his breakfast.

"Do you like her?" I knew where this was going.

"Yeah, she's a really great friend." She wasn't a great friend, she is a great girlfriend.

"Hmm…" I sneezed again, and again, and another time. "Well, you should get some rest in your room."

"Really?"

"Yes, I can't have you showing up sick at your photoshoot. Everything will be rescheduled for tomorrow." Of course, always thinking of his business. I got up and did what he told me. I was given tissues, some medicine and I got chicken soup for lunch. It wasn't my favorite day but at least I woke up next to my lady.
