Marinette:

It was a day like every other day. It was normal. School, movies, Chat and Akumas. Of course there was an akuma right in the middle of another movie. "Chat, wait!" I called to him as he was leaving. Chat turned his head and looked at me. "Make sure you'll be home for Christmas." He smiled and nodded.

Once he left, I transformed into Ladybug and joined Chat who was fighting an ice based Akuma. Her name was frostbite and her mother and father wanted to climb Mount Everest and they died of frostbite.

Her power was making ice. Chat kept calling her Elsa and ice queen. "Hey ice queen, how about we cool down and settle this without anyone getting hurt."

"My name is Frostbite!" She yelled. "And I want to avenge my parents by destroying Mount Everest."

"Not like any akuma I've ever faced. Normally, they want to get revenge in someone who embarrassed them or kidnapped someone because they were in love with them." Chat noir explained. We were fighting the akuma. We got icicles thrown at us, got threatened with an ice sword and ice bow and arrows. "Got any idea where the akuma is?"

I analyzed her powers and realized that she had a tiara in the whole time. It was entirely made of ice. "Yes I do. Lucky charm!" I yelled and threw my yo-yo in the air.

"Ern," I heard Chat wince in pain as I saw an icicle graze his side. It looked to be a deep scratch.

"Chat, are you ok?" I asked.

"All good M'lady." He said, holding his side a little. He got into fighting position as I got the salt that fell on the ground when I was working about Chat.

"Hm...ah ha! Try to trip her." I told my partner. I tried looking around for anything else I need. The only thing I needed was go the ice queen to fall.

"Umf." Frostbite groaned and I ran over and put some salt on her tiara. The tiara started to melt and then akuma came flying out.

I captured the akuma and yelled miraculous ladybug. The Miraculous Ladybugs didn't really clean up a lot since the akuma doesn't do much damage. They wrapped around Chat and the wound disappeared. "Well, gotta go. Bye Chat." I said before leaving.

Chat:

"And you're sure you're ok?" Marinette asked me.

"Yes, I promise I'm fine. It probably just left a scar." I replied. They do, they always do. A scar to remember every battle. A scar to remember every Akuma. Marinette gave me a look. "Stop giving me that look."

"I'm not giving you 'that look'."

"Sure." I walked over to Marinette and wrapped my arms around her waist and looked into her eyes. "I made a promise saying I would be home for Christmas and I'm going to keep that promise. I'm going to be home every Christmas."

"Good because I want to spend my first ever Christmas with you along with all the others." I went to kiss Marinette and she leaned in to kiss me.

After we had our little moment, I gave Marinette her heated blanket. "Merry Christmas." I handed her a wrapped up box.

"Is this my 8th Christmas gift?" Marinette took it and unwrapped it. She opened the white box and saw the blanket inside. "Aww, Chat, is this for our movie nights? I love it." Marinette rubbed her hand over the plain blanket. "Thank you."

"You're welcome princess. If you don't mind, I need to go home."

"Hey chat?"

"Yeah princess?"

"Want to stay for the night. It seems to be snowing and I don't want you out in the cold." I smiled at the thought.

"Yeah, I'll stay." Marinette and I went knot her bed. We just lied there, staring at the ceiling.

"Can you promise me something?" Marinette asked.

"Of course." I replied.

"Promise me that you'll always be by my side." I didn't know if she was referring to her as Ladybug or as Marinette but I knew that answer to both.

"I will always be by your side."

"Always?"

"Always."
