A/N: Ok, so this chapter took me 48 hours to write. I'm going to go over a few things in the end. I hope you guys like it.
I don't know how I'm going to pull this off but I am. We went out undetected by her parents and started looking for me. Marrinette was leaning against me the entire time not caring who noticed as I wrapped an arm around her waist. We bumped into some friends looking for Adrien. We told them we had nothing and left. It had been an hour since I was reported missing so I decided it was time to have Adrien come out of hiding. "I'll get a better view from the rooftops." I pulled her away from me as she nodded. I went on the roof and jumped into an alley and de-transformed. I stepped out and acted surprised to see Marinette. "Marinette?" Marinette turned to look at me.
"Adrien!" Marinette ran over toward me and gave me a hug. "Thank god you're alright." Marinette pulled away and looked at me. "Kim's been saying you've been kidnapped, others have been saying that you ran away." I looked away. I would have ran away but if it weren't for Marinette, I wouldn't have a place to go. "You ran away, didn't you?" I didn't answer. "Wanna talk about it?" I looked back at her and nodded. "My parents are still looking for you so we can go to my house and talk over some hot chocolate." I nodded.
We walked in silence, avoiding as many people as possible. Marinette was looking up. She was probably looking for Chat. "Looking for someone?" I asked.
"Chat Noir was with me. He went on the rooftops to get a higher view. I'll text him later." We made it Marinette's house. We sat down in the living room. Marinette gave me some hot chocolate. "So, what happened?"
I sighed. "You know it's been a year since, sinceā¦"
"Since your mom disappeared?"
"Yeah. My father moved on. I don't think he's even trying. He just wants to be alone. He isolates himself and I-I guess I just wanted to spend time with him this Christmas." I explained. I also just wanted to spend time with you, I thought to myself.
"I'm sure it's hard but your father is really worried about you. I'm sure he wants to spend Christmas with you."
"I don't want to spend christmas with him, I want to spend it with you." Is what I wanted to say but instead, I stayed silent.
"He probably just needed some time." 9oikjm
I Shook my head. "It's always time. He needs some time to wrap up some work but he never comes. He needs some to get ready but he never comes. I don't want to give him more time because, because I'm scared he's not going to show and disappear just like my mom did." It was one of my fears, but it wasn't what I was afraid of.
"He won't. I promise you that."
I shook my head. "You don't know that." I mumbled.
"You're right, I don't, but I believe he will." I looked down at the hot chocolate. The steam was still rising and the heat from the mug warmed up my hands. The whipped cream started to dissolve and all that was left was a thin white layer of cream. "Listen, Adrien, I know it might seem like it but he really loves you." I looked up at her.
"Really?"
"Yeah. He's really worried about you. It's time for you to go home."
"I don't wanna go home." I just wanted to spend Christmas with her. Was that so much to ask?
"Why not?"
I couldn't tell her why. She's dating Chat Noir, not Adrien. "I don't know. I just have this feeling."
"What kind of feeling?"
"I don't know. It's like, I'm not supposed to be there. Like I'm being pulled away from my family ad\nd being pushed in a different direction. Only, I don't know what direction." It wasn't a lie. I'm not supposed to be there. He's never there for me. I'm being pulled somewhere other than my house. To my home.
"Adrien, listen, we were all really worried about you. Your father is going crazy about not knowing here you are. How about I take you home and we can talk about this later. A lot of people are still worried and I'm sure your father would be so received when you go home. Please Adrien, let me take you home." I smiled and nodded. "Ok, I'll get a blanket for you since it's cold outside and you're not dressed for the cold." Marinette got up and grabbed a blanket. We went out and walked towards my house.
Marinette rang the doorbell and the camera inside the wall surrounding the house popped out. "Adrien?" My father's worried voice was heard from the camera.
"Hi, Mr. Agreste. I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I found Adrien wandering around close to my house. He seemed cold so I brought him into my house for some hot chocolate before escorting him here." Marinette said, very politely.
"Ahh yes, I remember you. You won the derby hat contest. Thank you for finding and taking care of my son." My father said. The gate opened. Nathlie and my bodyguard were waiting at the door. "Adrien, go inside." My father demanded. I hung my head down low as I walked to the door. "Thank you again Ms. Dupain -Cheng for finding my son."
"My pleasure sir. Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas." The camera retracted into the wall. Marinette waved goodbye and left.
A/N: So, obviously this is not over but it is almost 12 where I live and I was hoping to get this out on the 25th of december.
I just want to say that I will make the second part of this hopefully tomorrow. A new years chapter is being planned.
You may not here from me in a while after New Years because I am going to take a writing break to regain my focus on life and take some time to indulge myself in some other fandoms. I might do an update to tell you when I am starting to write the next chapter for this.
Just some things about the book. You can put theories in the comments.
So, Adrien being pulled away from his home and that feeling, that isn't him.
fan: If it isn't him then, what is it?
I'm glad you asked but, unfortunately, me telling you would mean spoilers. I'm not Jeremy Zag.
Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Holidays!
Happy New Year!
