A/N: This is set season 14 and no baby drama so Clare knows the baby is Eli's right away.

It was three minutes but those minutes seemed like forever to Clare Edwards who was sitting on the edge of her bathtub staring at a white and blue stick that ClearBlue read on the stick. She took a deep breath, a part of her well a huge part was terrified she was only eighteen still in grade 12 of high school, she was about to graduate she just wanted to vomit.

Finally her alarm on her phone went off. She picks it off and looks at her lock screen which was a photo of her and Eli the year before back when her hair was a lot longer with curls and Eli had his arms around her as they gazed into one another's eyes. A lot has happened since then from her cancer, Adam's death, Eli cheated which broke her heart so their relationship was on a thread. There was that whole situation with Drew which she had sex with when she was single after breaking up with Eli.

Then around eleven or twelve weeks ago when Eli visited for what supposed to be a bunge jumping date turned into a streamy and long overdue sex which ended for hours but Clare had the school the next day.

Clare places her phone on her clap as she picks up the test closing her eyes for a few seconds "Okay you can do this" she mutters to herself. Maybe the New York hospital got mixed up ift was extremely busy because the storm led her to Eli. Maybe Adam had something to do with it up in heaven.

Clare's eyes fluttered open when she took a look and gasped. She read the words a few times and it was true she was pregnant. The New York hospital and the other pregnancy tests she had taken were right. She started to breathe a little fast but managed to calm down.

After Clare was all dressed, fed and brushed teeth she eventually made her way to school. She remembered she would have to face people Alli would ask her what was going on Alli knows Clare so well vice versa but so would Jenna, Connor and even Drew. Drew she didn't know to talk to him yet ever since the western dance and them had sex on thar sofa in the prop room things been werid but he apologised to her at her house however those memories haunt her she regrets it.

She rushes into Degrassi and didn't have time to check on the incorrect spelling on the school's sign she was about to throw up because of morning sickness she gets into the girl's bathroom thankfully no one was in it as she locks herself in a stall and threw up and slides down on the floor leaning her head back.

She eventually threw up again when she got off on the bathroom floor then a voice spoke up as she opened the stall door. She needed to wipe her mouth as she exited the stall to wash her face and hand. She looked at herself in the mirror fixing herself when Alli entered. "Clare!" Alli exclaims.

Clare looks up at her best friend since grade nine "Yeah… I-" she felt vomit coming up as she excused herself heading into the stall as she puked into the toilet bowl.

Alli hears Clare vomit. She was grossed out "Oh that is nasty. You have the flu because you really should go home if you have the flu."

Clare was finished as she opened the stall door resting a hand on the door frame "No Uh no flu just uh bad breakfast burrito but it passed I'm fine now" she put on a smile looking at Alli.

Alli crosses her arms fixing up her bag "Well no one gets over food poisoning that quickly you sure it not morning sickness" she jokes not realising Clare did in fact have morning sickness but when Clare gave her a look instantly Alli realised "That was a joke" she walks forward a little.

"I don't want to talk about it," Clare answered as Alli looked at her.

"Clare, are you pregnant?" She lowered her voice.

"I don't want to talk about it" Clare walked to the sink.

"Wait Clare, were you and Eli always safe?" Alli asked her best friend if she knew that Clare and Eli were active.

Clare thinks for a second "Well we sorta got caught up and I may have forgotten birth control" she explained to Alli she knows there's more chance the baby is Eli's and not Drew's since with Drew a condom was used.

Alli was shocked she wasn't the biggest fan of Eli especially how he broke Clare's heart but she knows how much her best friend loved that boy. " Eli's baby… you're having Eli's baby… I need to sit down."

Clare takes a deep breath "I don't know what to do Alli I'm kind of scared" she looks at her best friend with worry in her eyes.

"It's okay to be scared but you are not alone and you always have choices" she pulls Clare in for a hug.

Clare nodded she started to form tears one hand she was happy that it would be with the love of her life and they live a fairytale ending but on the other hand both her and Eli are not even 20 yet they were kids still and there was universities they would attend so they would be a lot to juggle and adding a child in that made Clare rightly be scared of her future. Clare straightens herself up, wiping her tears as she calls the woman's health clinic. After a ring she was able to say "Hello this woman's care health clinic? I'd like to book an appointment."

After a long day her mind was elsewhere which was unlike Clare at all but considering she found out she was pregnant it was understandable. She waited until the last bell of the day had rung as she grabbed her bag putting everything inside including her textbooks which she would need for homework. She had an appointment at the abortion clinic tomorrow just to have a talk first.

Alli had offered to take Clare home so she did they talked about everything but Clare being pregnant she couldn't believe yet another friend of hers was up the duff but the irony she knew they were pregnant she felt like a baby whisperer. "I'll talk to you tomorrow Clare but are you going to be alright?"

Clare nodded slowly "I will be and thank you again Alli I appreciate this so much."

"It no problem you are my best friend after all" Alli softly hugged Clare which she hugged back.

After Clare got in her home she remembered her mum and Glen would be home soon so she quickly went upstairs to make sure the pregnancy test was well hidden in the bin. She felt nasusa as her breasts hurt a little too. She definitely was pregnant and whatever she chose would affect her future.
