A week has passed since Clare made her decision to keep the baby so all week Clare has been pacing back and forth in her room thinking of how she was going to tell Eli. She hasn't even told her mother yet but though telling Eli before her mother was actually a more smart idea because then she'll have a backup plan if her mother wasn't as supportive but hopefully it doesn't come to that.

Clare decided to go outside and wait when she got a text from Eli telling her he has a surprise for her for getting into Columbia. Oh little does he know she also has a surprise for him too so she heads out of her house locking the door behind and sitting on her front steps. Alli then happily walks up to her.

"Ready for school?" Alli cheerfully smiles, kissing Clare's cheek as she sat down next to her.

"Eli said he was giving me a surprise for getting into Columbia'" Clare answers Alli. She only told Eli about Columbia but she eventually told Eli about the pregnancy she needed to do it face to face.

Alli looked at Clare "That's sweet after you told him he was going to be a father?"

"Not yet I need to find the right time" Clare admits.

"How about your mum?"

"No she will send me to Mars or at least I think she won't."

Alli noded understanding "Okay but you need to talk to Eli he needs to know."

Clare knows Alli is right "I really do. Eli and I have been through so much. Maybe we will get through this. I just don't want to hold him back" she admits.

"He loves you Clare. I've seen it ever since we were in grade 10 that look he gives you is love" Alli reassured her best friend.

At that moment Eli had just arrived. He was back for the summer and couldn't wait to spend time with Clare even if she was just about to graduate from high school in a short few months. "Clare!" He calls out as soon as he sees her looking left and right to cross the road safely.

Clare heard Eli's voice looking back at him standing up along with Alli. She watched Eli come over and give her a hug.

"Surprise" Eli hugged Clare; that was his surprise himself. "I'm back for the summer after my exams so the Summer job hunting begins." He then hugs Alli quickly which was awkward at least but then looks back at Clare.

"So you're just back?" Clare smiles but is a little nervous.

"Yeah exciting right" Eli smiles as Clare grabs her bag putting it over her shoulder. "You know what I'm more excited about is maybe continuing that talk about our future " he wraps his arm around her.

Clare noded "Definitely I agree we have. Lot to talk about" she looked up at him as Alli linked her arms with Alli too. She knew tonight she had to tell him she was pregnant.

Eli walks with the ladies as they all walk to Degrassi he is holding on to Clare as she glances at him he could sense something was up but he thought it would be easy to talk one to one.

Once Degrassi and Alli found Dallas he took Clare to the side "Is there anything you want to tell me?" He looks at her.

"Yeah but can we talk after school and at my house?" Clare answers as she looks at him with those pretty blue eyes he fell for the moment he met her.

"Of course I'll be over after school" Eli smiled as he kissed her cheek. They were sort of back together but not officially. He watched her head into Degrassi; he misses this school sometimes only because he met the love of his life and soulmate there. He turned around and walked home to his parents house.

Eli made it home about ten minutes later walking into his house while his mother was in the living room. "Mum I'm home" he called out.

Cece stood up "My baby boy" she went to Eli and gave him a mum hug. She then let go. "You're finally home! How was NYU? Clare? How is she?"

"Only for the summer I need to look for a job and NYU has been good" he exclaims. "Clare's good we're going to talk about our future-" before Eli could say anything Cece eyes winded at future.

"Future? Good thing I have your grandmother's ring" Cece started to ramble as she was about to go look for the ring.

It clicked what his mum was implying "Oh no I meant Clare and I talk about university future" he quickly tells her. "I mean of course one day I want to but mum we are still kids and I don't want to pressure her."

"Good and you better keep her, she's so good to you and you two love each other " Cece smiles proudly at her son.

A few hours went by which meant school was out and Clare was home. She made sure her mum and step dad were out when she heard a knock. She opens her front door and smiles seeing Eli "Eli hey come in" she steps aside letting the older boy in and shutting the door behind.

"What do you want to talk about?" He asks, walking over to the sofa.

She takes a seat next to him taking a deep breath. "Promise me you will love me no matter what" she takes his hand.

"Clare you know I will always love you" he was starting to worry "Just tell me please" his green eyes shine as he moves closer.

"You remember the last time we had sex and we didn't understand use the condom" she looks at him.

"We got caught up in the moment Yeah I remember" he smirks at her.

Clare plays with her dress "I'm pregnant" all she could say.

Eli thinks "Shit I should've pulled out" his jaw dropped a little "We having a baby?" He responded.

She nodded still worried "Yup but what about university andp-" she was about to panic a little.

Eli gently pulls her in his arms "Hey you know you are not going through this alone right?"

"I know but I don't want to hold you back from your dreams" Clare lay her head on his chest. She just wanted to curl up and cry. She felt emotional because of pregnancy mood swings.

"You never hold me back ever, not even when I came back last summer" he holds her "Clare I love you more than anything and if we have to raise our child with us being in university then I'm in we just find our own way together" he reassured her.

Clare knows he's right as she snuggles up to him "We also have to tell our parents and my mother will probably kill you" she rambles on.

He chuckles he was so in love with her "Well tell my parents first and I know Cece loves and adores you."

"She really does she shows me all your baby pictures" Clare giggles.

"Oh no which one?" Eli's face turned red.

Clare chuckles "The last time I was at your house she showed me a picture of you running around in just big boots it was adorable."

"Then I should ask your mum for am embrassing picture" Eli teased.

"Fair Goldsworthy" Clare giggles. She smiles "Okay we really need to talk about what we going to do."

"Agreed" Eli noded "We should start to find a place to live" he ran his fingers through his natural curls.

"New York? But we can't live in dorms they have family housing right?" Clare questions.

"I will sort things out I just need to talk to my parents" Eli reassured her he came from a more well off family well his grandparents were the ones with money.

"Eli I can't ask you-" Clare looks at him.

"I want not just our future but our baby's future" Eli cups Clare's face as they look into one another's eyes as their lips collide and passion takes over. Eli ran his hand up her thighs making Clare let out a soft moan.

Clare pulls back for air "Wait does this mean we're back together?" She titled her head a little.

"Yes and I promise I will never hurt you again" he was genuine.

"Good" Clare pulls him close kissing him with love. The two ended up in her room as they made sweet love. They have a road ahead for them.
