24 December 0079 New Western Calendar, No Man's Land, Europe.
Inside the trenches, Naruto with several federation soldiers prepares the feast and drinks for Christmas Eve.
The enemy soldier, Sovereign Colony Alliance or SCA, also preparing the feast and holding a small Christmas eve party inside their trench.
While all of his best friends right now are in outer space, Naruto chooses to stay on Earth for a while to help the ground federation soldier.
"Naruto," One of the Federation soldiers named Shiro Amada, approaching and sit beside Naruto, "Merry Christmas," He pours a bottle of wine into Naruto's glass.
"Merry Christmas," Naruto said as he drinks the wine. The other Federation soldier also toasts their glass, drinking alcohol, laughing, and joking at each other.
"Hey Naruto, you bring your ocarina right?" Said another Federation soldier, a beautiful woman named Christina Mackenzie.
"Yes," Naruto nodded.
"Can you play us a song?" Christina asks again.
"Alright then, what's your request?"
"How about 'I'm dreaming of home'?" Said another Federation woman soldier named Karen Joshua.
"1, 2, 3," Naruto plays the 'I'm dreaming of home' song beautifully. The Federation soldiers were touched by the flow of the melody. Without realizing it, they are singing along the melody.
I hear the mountain birds
The sound of rivers singing
A song I've often heard
It flows through me now
So clear and so loud
I stand where I am
And forever I'm dreaming of home
I feel so alone, I'm dreaming of home
"Come on my friends, louder!" Said another Federation soldier.
The SCA soldiers listening to their singing in their trenches. They're also touched by the song, even some of the soldiers also shed a tear remembering their home and the people they love.
"They seem to be having fun," Said one of the SCA soldiers named Bernard Wiseman said to his comrades. "Wouldn't you like to as well?"
"What do you mean?" said his higher-ups, Johnny Ridden.
"Lieutenant, I convinced the commander that a little music would do no harm," Bernard said.
"Very well," Johnny said as he smiles, "Fire away."
"Then I'm singing first," Said another SCA soldier named Andy Strauss. Accompanied by applause from his comrades, Andy is standing and starts singing the 'Silent Night' song.

All is calm, all is bright
'Round yon virgin Mother and Child
Holy infant so tender and mild

All the Federation soldiers stopping their singing, as they hear the song from their enemy's trench. Naruto and his comrade looking up from their trench and saw that the SCA soldiers set several small Christmas trees on the top of their trench.
"Even though they're the enemies of this war, in the end, they're also children who miss their families and home."
"Yeah, you're right," Naruto said in a low tone.
All of the Federation soldiers bow their heads. Remembering that the enemies that they kill are also people who have their families or the beloved ones waiting for them.
As Andy starts singing the second verse of the song, Naruto suddenly joining with his ocarina. All of the SCA soldiers are surprised by the sudden collaboration.
Andy's surprised expression turns into joy as he continues the song.
Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight!
Glories stream from heaven afar;
Heavenly hosts sing Al-le-lu-ia!

As he continues to sing, Andy walks out from the Trench. In his front sight, Naruto and his comrades are now sitting on top of their trench. The mix of Andy's beautiful voice and Naruto's ocarina is like a match made from heaven.
"Andy!" Johnny doesn't like the idea of Andy revealing himself to the enemy. Afraid that he suddenly get shot or something. "Get down here!"
"HOORAY!" But it's not a barrage of bullets that Andy got. Instead, he got joyful cheers and applause from the Federation soldiers.
Andy feels happy with the cheers he got and bowed to the Federation soldier. But before he goes back to his trench, Naruto suddenly stands up and plays 'O Come, All Ye Faithful' with his ocarina. Andy is stunned for a moment, then he starts to sing along.

Christ the Lord
Andy exits his trench with a small Christmas tree, walking to the Federation side while singing. Behind him are Johnny and bernard, following Andy to make sure he's not getting shot by the Federation.
As the song ended, Andy raises the small Christmas tree. "Good evening, fellow children of Adam."
"Good evening, fellow children of Kaguya," Naruto said, "Your voice is beautiful."
"Thank you very much," Andy said in return.
"Very nice, but that's enough," Johnny said, "This is not the Italian's Opera."
"You're right," Andy said while chuckling, "It's better than opera."
Naruto followed by Shiro, Christina, and Karen from behind are approaching Johnny and the others. "Good evening, Lieutenant Johnny. It's nice to meet one of the greatest SCA's MS pilots."
"Good evening, it's also my pleasure to meet one of White base ace pilots Uzumaki Naruto himself," Johnny greets back.
"Wonderful," Naruto said, "You know lieutenant, today is a special day. How about a ceasefire for Christmas Eve. What do you think?"
Johnny is not answering. He looked at the Federation soldiers, and then his fellow comrades.
"The outcome of this war won't be decided tonight," Naruto added. "No one would criticize us for laying down our mechas on Christmas Eve."
"I think it's okay, Lieutenant," Bernard said. "It's just for tonight."
"...Alright then," Johnny said as he asks Naruto to shakes his hand, "Once again, nice to meet a fellow ace pilot."
"Nice to meet fellow warrior," Naruto said as he shakes Johnny's hand.
All of the soldiers from both sides come from their own trenches. They slowly walk to each other. As they finally meet, all of the soldiers start to shaking their hands or hugging at each other. For this special night, all of them are overlooking the fact that they're enemies. For this one night, all of them celebrating and partying; singing together; take a picture together, and playing football while laughing.
"Hello, my name is Bernard Wiseman," Bernard said as she shakes Christina's hand. "You can call me Bernie."
"Hello Bernie, my name is Christina Mackenzie," Christina said. "Just call me Chris."
"Pleased to meet you, Chris," Bernie said.
"For a soldier, you really look handsome. Just like the model from a fashion magazine," Chris said with a warm smile.
"I-Is that so?" Bernie's cheek becomes red. "Y-You're also beautiful."
"Thank you for complimenting me," Chris said with a hint of red on her cheeks.
"Hey, you two lovebirds! Let's play some football!" Shiro shouts as he dribbles the soccer ball.
"Alright!" Chris shouts back, "Let's go, Bernie, I won't lose in football."
"I won't lose either!" Bernie said as he and Chris run to the football game.
Naruto with Johnny beside him is just sitting and looking at the soldiers playing football while drinking their alcohol.
"Try this sake, lieutenant," Naruto said as he pouring the sake at Johnny's hand.
"Thank you," Johnny drinks the sake, "Hmm, this is good," Then Johnny takes a bottle of vodka from his pocket. "This is for you, and just call me Johnny."
"Thank you, Johnny, and you can just call me Naruto too," Naruto takes the vodka and drink it from the bottle, "Wow, this is very good too."
"Straight from the bottle, you're really a something," Johnny said while chuckling, "Say, you have something like family or girlfriend waiting for you?"
"Something like that," Naruto said, remembering his friends on the White Base crew.
"That makes me a little bit jealous, I don't really have something like that," Johnny said as he lights a cigarette and smoking. "I don't even know why I join this war, I don't have someone to protect for."
"But you have them right?" Naruto points at the SCA soldiers, "I'm sure that you're not thinking that all of them is just your mere subordinate."
"...That's true," Johnny said as he smiles. Remembering the joys and sorrows he experienced with his comrade.
Both of the warriors looked at the soldiers who are having fun with each other. There is no animosity or bitterness, there is no hatred at each other. The scenery of the ideal world that Naruto tries to create back then.
"Such beautiful scenery," Johnny said.
"I really hope that this moment will last forever," Naruto said with a sad smile.
*BOOM!*
But suddenly the sound of bombs and cannons can be heard from a distance. All of the soldiers from both fractions stop their activities and looking at where the sound came from.
"But all good things always end quickly," Naruto said with the hint of sadness in his tone. "Even though it's just for a while, I'm glad to befriend you, Johnny."
"Same for me, Naruto," Johnny said as he and Naruto shake hands. "I hope we can meet again after the war is over."
"Let's meet again after the war is over," Naruto said with a warm smile. Both warriors walk back to their own trench.
All of the soldiers from both fractions are shaking hands and hugging and wishing the best for each other, including Bernie and Chris.
"Bernie, Merry Christmas," Chris said she kisses Bernie's cheek.
"T-thank you, Merry Christmas to you too," Bernie said as his cheeks blushed.
"When the war is over, I want to date you," Chris said, "So don't die okay?"
"Don't worry, we will meet again," Bernie said as he hugs Christina. After he releases the hug, both Bernie and Chris looked at each other for a while. Then they go back to their respective trench.
Lt. Johnny Ridden of SCA is missing in action after the end of the Battle of Solomon. January 7 0080 NWC.
Ensign Bernard Wiseman of SCA is killed in action at the end of the Year-End Battle. December 31 0079 NWC.
Ensign Andy Strauss of SCA was also killed in action at the end of the Year-End Battle. December 31 0079 NWC.
Ensign Shiro Amada of Federation retires after the end of the One Year War and married a former SCA soldier Aina Sahalin. Dies of old age on 0129 NWC.
Ensign Karen Joshua of Federation is still working with the federation. For her service in One-Year War, she was appointed as Colonel by the higher-ups of the Federation. Colonel Karen Joshua is killed in Action at the Moon Wars in 0090 NWC.
Ensign Christina Mackenzie of Federation is retiring after the end of One Year War. After her retirement, Christina Mackenzie opens a charity foundation to help war victims around the world. Christina Mackenzie never married anyone until the end of her life on 120 NWC.
24 December 0189 NWC, Moon Colony.
Naruto with Haro beside him is sitting at the bench on the Moon Wars memorial.
"Oh, it's Christmas Eve," Naruto said as he takes the ocarina from his pocket. "1, 2, 3."
He plays the 'I'm Dreaming Home' song, the same song that he plays so many years ago.
But unlike back then, there is no one who sings along with the melody of Naruto's ocarina.
After the song is finished, Naruto puts the ocarina back in his pocket and leaving the Moon Wars Memorial followed by Haro from behind.
"Merry Christmas, everyone."

Andy, Bernie, and Chris are from War in the Pocket.
Shiro and Karen are from The 08th MS Team.
Maybe I'm taking too much liberty for the characters.
