Thanks Chryssal you helped get me back into this one, I had continued into at least chapter 6 but here is chapter four thank you

APRIL

I was about to open the door to my farm house, when the door opened on it's own. I stepped back startled, seeing a light leaf green turtle mutant standing there his blue eyes shining from a black mask with long tails.

"Mikey?" I asked softly recognizing the blue eyes and the darker green freckles, his scales had become a little darker then before like he spent a long time in the sun, or the dark, I wasn't sure which.

"Hey April, hey guys come on inside lets get Leo inside to get him help," Mikey said moving to the side. I nodded and turned to the guys behind me, waving them in. I don't think they heard what happened seeing as they were looking over Leo. Casey looked confused, looking between me and Mikey.

Mikey moved into the building I led the boys inside, the turtles following, Casey behind them.

MIKEY

I led April inside picking up Misia who came running up to me, wanting me to protect her from the new people that just entered the living space we had taken for our own for the time being. She hid her face in my chest as I went to Jason, handing her over to him, and kissed her head, Jason's cheek and went over to Leo who had been laid down on the couch. Jason stayed back, Misia cuddled to his chest.

I stopped right before I could touch my oldest brother, waiting for my other two brothers to notice me.

"What are you doing here Mikey?" Raph asked not even turning to look at me, Donnie had turned though and he looked tired and thin. I guess without me dragging him out of the lab to eat or sleep he just kept going with no regard to his health.

"I was staying here because of a blizzard, we found the house before it became bad. We decided to help clean up the house when we found out it was April's family home," I said not an ounce of emotion in my voice, my eyes becoming dull, and lidded.

"After three years and we finally find you, and it's because of a freak accident, you at least had good sense to stay hidden, we never heard anything about you on the news, and trust me the tv stayed on that station since you left," Raph said looking at me finally, his green eyes shimmered with unshed tears he was fighting with.

I gasped and shook, I have never seen Raph cry before he would always hide it behind anger. I reached out, but stopped not sure if he wanted that contact. I didn't need to worry though, Raph hugged me, tucking me to his plastron. Donnie stood as well and hugged me as well, he started crying into my shoulder, his tears soaking my scales. I just stood there letting them hug me, but not returning it.

The two pulled back to look at me, I was still numb to them, still not sure if they were gonna go back to the way they were before. I had completely shut down on them, bringing my arms to my chest wanting to protect myself if something happened, and I whimpered. Jason came to stand beside me Misia on his shoulders, keeping her over the people so they couldn't reach her. He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me from behind his eyes narrowed on the two turtles in front of me.

"Mikey, I promise we won't be like that again, please," Donnie said, reaching out, but stopping when Jason growled, followed by a small growl from Misia. I flinched into Jason's chest, hiding my face into his chest.

"Mike, I'm sorry, I never thought that I was being so mean to you, I never meant to become abusive towards you," Raph said not getting closer keeping an eye on the lizard mutant behind me.

"I understand that you are sorry, but please don't, I need some space please. I went through a lot with you, and an apology is a good start, but a visible example of you having changed helps as well," I said soaking up Jason's love for me, letting Misia climb down to my arms. I held her to my chest her bunny between us.

"That's fine Mikey, thank you for giving us a chance, who is this?" Donnie asked pointing to Misia.

"She is my daughter Artemisia," I said holding her closer, Jason wrapping his arms around my arms helping to hide her from view. "And he is Jason, my mate and Misia's Father," I said feeling all eyes on me.

I wanted to get out of here, but a groan from Leo had me remembering that Leo was injured.

"What happened to Leo?" I asked looking at him on the couch, he was still out his hands resting on his chest. I looked to Donnie the family doctor, a question in my eyes.

"He got attacked by Shredder and the whole foot clan, while we were fighting the Kraang," Donnie said wringing his hands.

"Oh so that's what's wrong, if anything besides still being out like a light?" I asked moving over to him Jason keeping me between himself and my brothers. I didn't even need to look up to know that he was glaring at them, he made it no secret that he hated my brothers. If given half a chance, and permission by me, he would kill them with no hesitation.

"He has a broken leg, and his shell was nocked loose," Donnie said sitting next to me, showing how he knew about what he was talking about. I nodded and had Jason bend down.

"Can you bring Misia upstairs it's time for her nap, and bring the bag with our medical supplies?" I asked, he nodded kissed me, then grabbed the one almost two year old up into his arms and left the room glaring at my brothers.

"You have medical knowledge Mikey?" Donnie asked looking curiously at me. I nodded and smiled looking over Leo's leg, seeing the swelling around the break in the leg, I nodded and grabbed a sharpie from my belt and marked where I needed the top of the cast I was about to put on.

The next thing I knew was a scuffle behind me, I turned to see Jason holding Raph's arm in his tail his eyes boring in to the green eyes, a growl coming from his throat.

"I would think twice about doing that," Jason growled glaring harder in to the smaller turtle's eyes.

"But I always do that, what's w-" Raph started before being cut off by Jason dropping his arm and grabbing his neck with it instead bringing Raph to his tiptoes.

"I would think twice about doing that again, if you do try to hit him again I will not hesitate to through you into next week, understand?" He asked baring his sharp teeth.

Raph nodded and Jason set him back on his feet and grabbed his throat when Jason let him go. Jason sat next to me, kissing me and hugging me, he set the bag down next to me and I smiled, thanked him with a kiss, and opened the bag.

I got out a few things for the break in the leg, cotton bandages, and the cast material, Jason went to get a bowl of water. When he came back I had the cotton bandages on and started on the cotton getting it wrapped around so that if he was shifted it wouldn't do any more damage to his leg. I looked over his shell, checking the seams and found a tear where the shell met skin. I grabbed a cotton bandage and taped it down with medical tape, I grabbed an alcohol wipe to clean the sharpie.

Leo was all wrapped up and on the mend once more, I felt his pulse, feeling his pulse was super slow and I realized what happened.

"Leo is on the mend now, but he has dipped into a healing hibernation," I said standing and letting Donnie and Raph look him over as well.

"How do you know that Mikey?" Donnie asked, looking at me in confusion.

"I read about it, it happens in reptiles who are hurt and not able to hunt or find food, so they fall into a healing hibernation," I said matter factly, waving my hand.

"But now he needs a place that he can rest in with out being disturbed," I said putting my hands on my hips, looking down my brothers, a glare in my eyes.

"Right so where would be a good place you must know this place after cleaning it," Raph said looking at me his deep green eyes not leaving me, seeing as Jason was standing behind me.

"Well there are four bedrooms upstairs, Raph and Casey can share a room, Donnie and Leo can share a room, mainly becuase I know that Donnie will want to be by Leo's side to keep his health monitored, Jason, Misia, and I will share a room, I'm hoping for the master for three people, and April can have a room to her self," I said pointing to each person when talking about them.

April nodded when I asked about the master room, and I smiled thankful, I turned to Donnie seeing if he was good on the arrangement, and he nodded happy with it. Raph agreed as well, Casey nodding as well.

I smiled glad we got that sorted, I helped move Leo to the bed he would be in, and then let the others go to sleep. Jason and I had gotten used to sleeping during the day, and would try to change our sleeping habits, but that would take time especially Misia.

THREE MONTHS LATER

JASON

I was over the moon, Mikey was pregnant again, we had the same results as Misia's pregnancy, morning sickness and fatigue. He had been sleeping more, especially in the sun. Cole had said that reptiles would sun themselves more when gravid. So it is a tell for when Mikey is expecting, I couldn't wait to meet our new little one. Misia was so excited being an older sister, and couldn't wait for her new little sibling.

When Donnie found out he almost fainted, but composed once more and took over checking over Mikey during the pregnancy. We knew the process, but he wanted to be sure Mikey was okay. I nodded accepting that, Donnie had done everything he could to make amends with Mikey.

Mikey had said that he felt like he was getting his best friend back, I smiled sweetly at that, Mikey had told me about his relationship with Donnie and expressed how sad he was to lose him. Mikey was still weary of his brothers and would jump if they came up to him.

We were dozing out side in a patch of sunshine, Misia on one side of us, laying on her stomach, she was smiling and purring in content. Mikey was curled in to my side his churring letting me know he was very content where he was. I was on my stomach as well, an arm around Mikey, my tail covering his legs.

Donnie was training with his bo staff, as far away as he could so he wouldn't accidently hurt Mikey or Misia. Casey was playing around Donnie almost getting hit, but Donnie was able to not hit him at just the right moment. It looked like it was new training for him and a good one to recognize where allies were and enemies were not. April had sat on the porch swing, writing in a diary that she had started when she got here.

Raph had made it his mission to stay by Leo's side, until night hit and he let Donnie take over, there was chickens here and Misia had taken to helping Mikey in feeding them.

I sighed and brought Mikey closer snuggling him like a teddy bear, I started to doze letting sleep take me over. Though that didn't last long, a since that someone was approaching had me shooting upwards eyes opening fast. I stood over my family, ready to defend them with everything in me. I actually looked at who approached and saw that it was Donnie his bo staff held ready to defend.

I calmed breathing in deeply and sat up sitting on the ground, behind Mikey and Misia, who had woken from the sudden movements and had started to whimper from being woken. I picked her up, letting her snuggle into my chest.

"Raph was calling for us, Leo has woken up," Donnie said shifting on his feet. "I thought I'd come over and tell you," he finished relaxing when I calmed my stance and picking up Misia. I nodded and went over to Mikey, shaking him awake. He sluggishly opened his eyes and looked around blindly.

I shook him a little more, and he looked up at me, his eyes softening and his arms reaching out for a hug. Which I agreed to and lifted him up, letting him wake up on his own, Misia resting on her mother's stomach and chest. Mikey woke slowly and was just getting into his own mind when we made it to the door that held his brothers behind it.

He looked up at me his blue eyes filled with questions.

"Leo has woken up and I know you want to talk to him and get the apology behind us and set about either leaving if needed," I said nuzzling his face, he smiled and giggled, holding Misia closer.

I set Mikey on his feet and took Misia from Mikey letting him walk into the room.

MIKEY

I opened the door and stepped inside waiting for Leo to look at me, I looked behind me Jason standing in the door way with Misia in his arms. I breathed to calm my nervous then turned to my three brothers and stood tall. I was not scared of them anymore, Jason helped me so much on my self confidence and my brothers couldn't knock me down again.

Leo turned to me, his blue eyes widening and he sat up straighter. He tried to stand, but Donnie stopped him from getting up. Raph stood up and steered me to the bed, and sat me down so that Leo could hug me. Which he did, he hugged me tightly to his plastron and small tears streamed from his eyes and on to my shoulder.

"Oh Mikey, I'm so sorry, please, I'm so sorry. I never wanted you to leave Mikey, I never wanted a life with out you in it. I know that now and will never, ever ask you to leave ever again. Please don't leave us again." He was babbling I could tell, he hasn't done that in so long, it finally broke me. Tears welled up in my eyes and I hugged Leo back clutching onto him tightly and cried into his chest. Leo tugged me into his lap, Raph sat next to us and wrapped an arm around us, and Donnie hugging me from behind.

When my tears ran out I sat up wiping my tears from my face, sniffling.

"Thank you I needed to hear that, it's going to take time and effort, but I'll try if you guys do," I said looking at them and seeing them all with tears in their eyes. They all nodded and we hugged once more.

LEO

"Mama?" a small voice asked from across the room, and Mikey shot up from the group hug and looked to the door, I looked over as well, and seeing a large lizard mutant standing there holding a small child. I blinked that word seemed so foreign to me, Donnie and Raph didn't seem surprised by it so it was something that happened a lot then. Mikey waved the duo in and stood standing on tip toe and kissed the lizard mutant. He stooped down to pick up the child who squealed and called out 'mama' again, holding her arms out holding a small pink bunny in her hand. Her dual colored eyes shining with happiness.

"Hey sweetheart," Mikey said holding her close to him, she snuggled into his chest and sighed putting her thumb into her mouth.

I just sat there to stunned to move or think, Mikey was nuzzling the little girl. He looked up when Donnie cleared his throat, he smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry Leo, I should introduce you to these two. This is Jason, my mate," here he pointed to the large lizard mutant behind him, who had wrapped his arms around his waist and settled his head on Mikey's. "And this is our daughter, Artemisia, or Misia for short," Mikey finished bumping the little girl a bit to show he was talking about her. She looked up her dual eyes turning towards my brothers and I.

I smiled and waved at her and she hid her face in Mikey's chest once more, clutching the bunny to her.

"Sorry she's a little shy," Mikey said snuggling into Jason.

I was still a little shocked, Mikey has a boyfriend and a daughter, in the three years of him being gone, he gained a family. I looked sadly at him he didn't seem to need us anymore.

"You have a family now huh Mike?" I asked looking up at him, he seemed to be shocked by the question. He looked at me his bright blue eyes wide, he shook his head.

"No matter where I went, I knew I would be able to come back home, and to you guys, even if I had panic attacks thinking about going back and being kicked out again, I always know that New York is my home and where I am always supposed to be," he said looking up at Jason, who hugged him close and let him sink into body.

"We were actually heading back to New York, we were going to find someplace to call our home, a little further from your home, seeing as Mikey was still worried about how you would react to seeing him," Jason said his voice a deep baritone, and seemed to drill into my chest, like a jackhammer. I shivered his voice promised death for any who crossed him, it seemed buried under the emotion in it, but it was there, a permanent reminder that he was not afraid to kill anybody.

"Sweetness you didn't tell him the good news," Jason said his voice seemed soft and gentle when speaking to Mikey, the threat of violence abcent from his voice. His eyes seemed to soften and turn molten.

"Oh right Leo I have great news the others already know, mainly because we found out months ago, but I'm pregnant," he said smiling his megawatt smile and was bouncing on his toes, Misia squealing with happiness from the ride. She climbed to Mikey's shoulders setting her bunny in front of her, between her body, and Mikey's head.

I froze at the news, my mind came to screeching halt, almost like tires squealing on the road. I blinked trying to process the news. My little brother was currently pregnant, he was going to have another child, like Misia, who was waving her wooden tanto around making sure not to hit Mikey with it. Jason picked her up off Mikey's shoulders and let her grab her bunny, and set her on his shoulders so she was further away from Mikey with the wooden tanto.

I shook my head and smiled, I was happy for him he seemed to be so happy and excited about his new addition coming soon. I turned to Donnie and got his attention.

"Help me up," I said, he looked confused, and did as I asked, helping me to my feet, and I started to walk over to the trio and stopped in front of Mikey. I reached out to hug him, he slowly wrapped his arms around me confused, but I just held him close.

"I'm so happy for you Mikey, you seem so happy to be having this child, not a worry in your mind about it, I'm so happy to be an uncle to a cute little niece and to a new niece or nephew," I said letting him go and hopping backwards so I could look at him.

MIKEY

I smiled at Leo, I was about to say something when April comes in leading in a tall red head with green eyes and dark freckles covering his face.

"Cole."

"Uncle Cole," Misia called from Jason's shoulders and giggled, she started to climb down and Cole grabbed her from Jason, giving her a big hug.

"Hey Misia, how is my favorite niece?" He asked holding her close, she giggled.

"I'm your only niece, Uncle Cole," Misia said looking up at him, her dual eyes shining with happiness. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I'm here to help your mommy, he's giving you a sibling and I helped with you so I want to be there for this one to," he said while Casey came up carrying a suitcase.

"Thanks Casey, let me see that, and you the one with the blue mask and the broken leg back on the bed now," he said first to Casey then to Leo who looked startled, and blinked in surprise.

"I would listen to him Leo he can be quite forceful when he needs to be," I said going to lay on the bed along one side, Leo came to the other side, laying next to me, his arm around my shell, holding me close.

I smiled when Cole set up several portable hospital machines and he set them up in the room, the ultra sound next to me, and an x-ray set on the bed.

He got the gel out for the ultra sound, and spread it on my hard plastron. My plastron had softened when I was pregnant with Misia, but only once the egg had hatched. He turned on the machine and set the wand on my stomach. I looked at the screen he had helped me learn how to read the screen for what we were looking for. And so saw the egg immeadtily, it looked like it was in the process of hatching. I smiled happy to know everything was going according to plan, Leo nuzzled my neck and hugged me close to him. I flinched slightly at his touch, before letting him hug me. I settled down into Leo's arms, closing my eyes I was getting tired.

JASON

I watched as Mikey fell asleep in his older brother's arms, his body relaxing when I got closer. I smiled knowing he felt better with me near by. I set Misia on the bed, letting her climb up her mother's shell, and settle between the two brothers.

Cole smiled and went to the other side of the bed, and brought out a pair of scissors, Leo flinched and tried to shield the duo behind him. I nodded I liked the regretful turtles they had become, they would do anything to get their little brother back.

"Calm down would you I need to cut off the cast to check your leg," Cole said gripping under his breath about paranoids mutants. I chuckled under my breath and got a death glare in return, his green eyes boring into me, a warning in his eyes.

"Right okay, just no sharp objects around the child," Leo said tensing his shoulders.

"Oh trust me, I would never do anything to harm Misia she is my only niece a I love her with everything in my being, it's you I don't trust yet after listening to Mikey freaking out for a month after having his daughter claiming he would be a horrible mother, because he was a horrible brother to his family, and he would be nothing but a burden to anybody who he met." Cole said his never wavering from the dark blue in front of him as he settled the scissors on the bed.

Leo sat stock still his eyes fogged with tears, while Cole started to cut off the cast, and looked over the leg.

"Hey bend your leg for me, I need to see your movability," Cole said not an ounce of the anger from before in his voice. He had turned to his professional voice. He never let his emotions disrupt his work.

Leo snapped out of his stupor and bended his leg, to his chest, and turned it around to lay on the bed on either side, it didn't seem like he was in pain which he stated after laying his leg back on the bed not twisted.

"Good then that means that Mikey did a good job of wrapping the leg, but that does not mean that you can just start jumping around. Start with stretches and walk with a crutch to lean on until your leg strengthens back up."

"R-right," Leo stuttered out relaxing on the bed and curling around his little brother Misia in the middle having fallen asleep during Leo's exam, Mikey sighed and settled more in to the bed. I smiled and nodded, I went to the room to grab a book, and sat in the room to read.
