Ayla groaned and her eyes slowly opened, waking up. She sat up, only to scream to find out that she was sitting on a pile of broken security bot bodies. She slowly climbed down carefully, but accidentally cut her leg on a sharp end from a piece of metal from a bot. Ayla winced and hissed in pain as she saw her leg started to bleed. She tore off a piece of her shirt and tied it up and bandaged it. As she did so, Ayla noticed that her fazwatch was missing.
She had no way to call out to Freddy, Sun or Moon. She figured that Sun was probably having an nervous breakdown right at this moment. Moon was probably worried sick as well. She needed to get back to them. She remembered that she left her laptop and flash drive back after she had fallen. She felt naked without her tech. Ayla reached to grab the strap on her bag, only to notice that it was missing as well. Her eyes widened as she wildly looked around for it. She needed her walkman to hear her father's voice and listen to some music to calm down her climbing nerves that were steadily rising. She pushed and moved some of the bots while looking for it.
As she did, Ayla flinched as she heard multiple bots calling out all around her, repeatedly. "Help us. Help us. Help us."
There was no way she could help them. They were broken beyond repair. The only good thing for the bots were for their batteries to completely drain out. Ayla sighed as she continued to look around for her bag. Nothing. She needed to find it! Where was it?!
Suddenly, Ayla stopped when she heard someone. It sounded like they were singing a little tune?
"Dum Dum Diddly-Dum Dum Dum"
Slowly, Ayla crept around the pile of robot parts to find that it was a person. She couldn't really see who it was. They were wearing a grey cloak as it covered their entire body. As Ayla got closer, she noticed that they had her bag and was rooting around in it, pulling out her items and tossing them away, losing interest. Ayla almost screamed as she saw them toss away her walkman and she quickly caught it just in time before it fell on the ground. She looked up, getting ready to yell at them, but stopped when she saw them pull out her robot manual to the animatronics. They stopped singing as they looked at it and started to flip through it.
"Hey, I need that. That doesn't belong to you!" Ayla shouted. Ayla saw them tense up when they heard her. She saw a flash of red fur and round gold earring on their right ear as they slowly turned their head, glancing at her for a short second before they quickly ran off. Ayla's eyes widen a little, recognizing them.
"Foxy?" She called out to him in a soft voice almost like a whisper. She saw Foxy stop before he continued to run. He still had her manual! Ayla quickly grab her scattered tools and mask and tapes, shoving them back into her bag, along with her walkman. Ayla sighed in relief as she saw that Bonnie's chip was still inside her bag. Then she chased after Foxy.
"Wait, I need that book!" She shouted at the animatronic to get him to stop. Foxy ignored her as he continued to run, hopping over a pipe. Ayla cringed in disgust seeing the dirty sewage water as well as rats running along the side. She climbed over it, while trying to avoid the water, chasing after Foxy. She saw the animatronic quickly make a sharp turn around a corner and followed after him.
"Stop!"
Foxy quickly went around another corner. Ayla was right behind him. She leaped out and tackled the animatronic, grabbing onto his cloak and knocking Foxy off of his feet and the two rolled on the ground. Foxy shoved her away from him.
"Get off of me!" He growled.
"Not until you give me back my book!" Ayla shouted back at him. "I need it to help Freddy fix the others! They're not themselves!"
"Freddy?" Foxy stopped thrashing around. Ayla took a closer look at the fox, noticing that he was withered. He was wearing an eye patch, with skull and crossbones, over his left eye and a hook on his right hand. Wearing grey coat and black pants and grey sash around his waist. A gold earring on his right ear, while his left ear had a chip on it and a golden tooth in place for one of his fangs. His fur was a little mangled and matted, covered in dirt. Then she saw that Foxy didn't have the manual on him. Ayla started to notice that the room that they were in was starting to get a little hotter than usual.
Suddenly, flames busted out of the floor, igniting. They were in an incinerator, for getting rid of the damaged bots. Ayla and Foxy saw that the book was a few feet away from them. They watched in horror as they saw the book get burnt to a crisp, engulfed by the flames.
"No! I needed that!" Foxy shouted. He snapped his head back at Ayla, looking at her angrily. "Do you have any idea what you've done!" Ayla stared back at him, a little scared but angry as well.
"Me? You're the one who stole it from me!" she argued back at him. "If there's anyone to blame it's you!" She noticed that the flames were starting to get a little too close to the two of them. "Listen, let's discuss this later. We need to get out of here."
She looked around until she noticed a vent across the room from the growing flames. "There's a vent over there. We can use it to get out of here." Ayla stood up and grabbed Foxy by his hook, pulling him up. "Come on."
"Don't tell me what to do." Foxy growled.
"I'm not. I'm insisting that you get out of here." Ayla told him. "And we need to leave now!" Foxy blinked through his one eye as he watched Ayla slowly walk around the flames. He carefully followed behind her until they reached the vent. Ayla pulled it out and crawled inside of it. Foxy followed behind her as the two reached the other side. Ayla kicked the vent out and hopped down, landing on her feet. Foxy landed next to her. Ayla looked around to find that they were in a hallway of some sorts. There were still damaged bots lying on the floor all over.
"I have no idea where we are. I need to get to the others. Sun and Moon are probably worried to death about me." Ayla murmured to herself.
"Sun and Moon? The daycare attendants?" Foxy asked. Ayla blinked, looking up at him, forgetting that he was still there.
"Yeah, they're my boyfriends!" She smiled. Foxy stared at her confused, quietly. He shook his head, thinking for a bit. Wait a minute, she's an employee here. She has tools...Foxy's eyes widen and he started to walk away.
"Hey, where are you going?" Ayla called out, confused, and started to follow behind him.
"I am taking you to a friend, lass." Foxy told her as they continued to walk. "We are not too far off from our hiding place."
"Hiding place?" Ayla asked. "Why do you need to hide? Don't you know Freddy misses you and Bonnie?" She noticed Foxy flinch when she mentioned Bonnie but continued. "The others miss you as well! They've been wondering where you've been this entire time. They're going to be so happy to find out that you're alive!"
"Do you ever stop talking?" Foxy asked her, growing a little more annoyed.
"Nervous habit." Ayla replied, sheepishly. The two quietly continued to walk, for a while neither saying a word before Foxy spoke.
"So, you've "woken" up too?" He asked. Ayla looked up at him confused.
"Woken up? What do you mean? I am awake." She said. She heard Foxy made a small deep chuckle.
"What I mean is, you've opened up your eyes. You realize that you're alive underneath your wiring, that you are more than just a machine." Foxy explained.
"Did you?" Ayla asked him.
"Aye, I did." Foxy told her. "But, if anyone at the Pizzaplex ever found out that one of us did. They would decommission us, immediately." Ayla's eyes widen, understanding what he meant. If humans ever found out that machines grew a conscience and were more sentient than them. They would be afraid, that they were dangerous.
"You crafty fox." Ayla commented.
"We are here." Foxy replied as he pulled open a drape of curtains and stepped inside. Ayla followed behind him until she stopped at what she saw in front of her. Sitting motionlessly on the floor was Bonnie. Part of his chest cavity was missing, that had a giant purple and red star, wearing a giant red bow. His left arm was missing as well. He was wearing black suspender pants and red face paint on his face in the shape of a star as well. He had half an right ear and his left leg was missing his casing. Ayla started to feel guilty, seeing the state that the rabbit as in. This is why Foxy had taken the book, he was trying to help his friend! But, she stopped him. His eyes were opened, but he didn't respond as Foxy walked over to him.
"Hey Bon Bon, I've brought a friend." Foxy said to them. "She might be able to help."
Ayla walked closer over to them, looking Bonnie over.
"Can you help him?" Foxy asked her.
"I'll try. I mean, I only glanced through the robotics manuel a few times. But, it shouldn't be too hard." Ayla told him.
She saw that he had a plate that opened like Monty's on the back of his head. She pulled out her screw driver and started to undo the screws, loosening up the hatch, opening it. She saw that the wiring was a little worn out and burnt until she saw the spot the fit in a chip. she reached into her bag and pulled out Bonnie's personality chip and inserted it into them. Ayla closed back the plate and tighten back the screws, stepping away. No response. Ayla frowned, wondering what else there could be wrong until she realized that it must his battery. There were a few generators that her and Foxy walked past on there way here.
"Foxy, go grab one of the generators and bring it here. Bonnie's battery is completely out." Ayla told him.
Foxy left and quickly came back with a generator, dragging it behind him on the floor. He set it down next to Bonnie and Ayla hooked the wires onto Bonnie's ears then plugged in the generator to a near by electric socket.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Foxy asked her.
"I'm going to try and shock Bonnie awake." she replied. A controlled shock?! Foxy's eye widen and he grabbed Ayla's wrist just before she could flip the switch on.
"Absolutely not! I won't let you hurt him. He's been through enough than he already has!" He hissed as he emitted a low growl in warning.
"Foxy, this is the only way. We are too far away from Parts and Services. If it looks like it's hurting him, I'll stop." Ayla insisted. Foxy stared at her silently for a moment before he gave her a short nod, and release Ayla's wrist allowing her to continue. Ayla turned by to the switch and flipped it, turning on the generator. Jolts of electricity flowed through the wires, going into Bonnie. Ayla and Foxy watched silently, looking for any signs of movement.
Suddenly, they saw Bonnie's right hand started to twitch as his fingers slowly moved. Then what caught them off guard was when Bonnie let out a scream as if he was in pain. It looked like he was relieving the moments right before he was attacked. Ayla quickly flipped the switch, turning off the generator. Bonnie's head dropped to the floor as his body slumped, lying motionlessly again.
"Bonnie?" Foxy called to him in a whisper. The two waited and waited and waited for any signs. Then Bonnie slowly began to open up his eyes as he shifted his legs. He looked around, wondering where he was until he saw Foxy and Ayla. He made a tired smile, seeing Foxy.
"Hey, Foxy, I'm glad to see you again. I hope that I wasn't too much trouble for you."
"Aye, it was tough lugging you around. But, you're now and back. That's all that matters to me." Foxy replied, smiling.
"Freddy's going to be so happy to see you!" Ayla smiled as well. She saw Bonnie look at her.
"Who are you?" He asked her.
"She is the one who help you." Foxy told him. Bonnie turned back to Ayla.
"My name is Ayla. Ayla Emily." She told them as she introduced herself. She notice Foxy flinch again when she mentioned Freddy, almost looking upset. Bonnie however was surprised and happy to hear Freddy's name.
"You mentioned Freddy? You know him?" Bonnie asked her. "I miss him so much."
Ayla nodded her head. "Yes, he's a friend of mine! He's treated me like family. Chica and the others as well. They're going to be so shocked to see you both! I think it's time to get out of her don't you think?"
"Yes, definitely." Bonnie replied.
