"What's the last thing that you remember back at Monty's gator golf?" Ayla asked as the three were walking in the tunnels, as they were trying to find a way out of the dumps. She had told them about was going on inside the Pizzaplex, how the virus was affecting the others, Vanny, who was after her and Gregory. Foxy was supporting Bonnie as they were walking. Bonnie was still low on power to walk fully by himself.
"When the Mega pizza plex was closed for the night, I met up with Monty like he asked me to so we could play a quick game. He didn't take losing very well as I was beating him at a couple of the holes. The next thing, I remember was being attacked by him."
"Wait a minute, that's not right." Ayla interrupted.
"But he did. Maybe I was showboating a little, but Monty did attack me. I definitely remember that. He has always been competitive, always had to be in the spotlight." Bonnie replied. "I hate to admit it, but on a few occasions I think that he was jealous of me."
"But, Monty said that YOU attacked him!" Ayla tried to explain, still confused. "He said that his defense systems activated, and he protected himself against you." Great, this is turning into he said they said scenario. Who could she trust? Ayla thought to herself, trying to process what Bonnie had told her. Even though, she just met Bonnie and Foxy, they seem alright. They hadn't tried to hurt her so far. But Monty's been nice since she's been working there aside from the bite incident and chasing after her when Vanny ordered him to do so. Ayla paused. Had he been lying to everyone this entire time, including her!?
"He attacked me." Bonnie answered. Ayla stared at him, unsure.
"Lassie, Bonnie's never lied since he was created. If he said that Monty attacked him then that's the truth." Foxy told her.
"Nothing's making any sense. Could Monty be acting this entire time?" Ayla asked.
"I wouldn't put it past him." Foxy replied.
"If what you say is true about Monty, about him always being in the spotlight...You don't think Freddy's in danger, do you?" She asked the two. Bonnie's and Foxy's eyes widened. "I mean he is the main star after all, the face of everything and the company." The two said nothing to her still stunned and in disbelief that one of their own, who they thought was their friend, would do such a thing.
"We need to get to Freddy." Bonnie told her.
Suddenly, the three heard something that was coming from behind them. "Are you lost?" Ayla's eyes widened, seeing Vanny. She laughed as she slowly began to inch closer to the three. Vanny looked over at Bonnie and Foxy. "My, my, what a surprise. You two are still here after all these years? Everyone thought that you were decommissioned."
"As you can see, we're not. And we don't plan to be. We're going to tell Freddy everything!" Bonnie shouted at her.
"Bonnie, shhh!" Ayla shushed him. "Don't tell her that. Come on, let's get out of here"
"Bonnie, can't run, lass." Foxy told her. The three heard Vanny make another evil laugh. Ayla looked over at a tall, stacked pile of garbage. She ran over to it and knocked it down, pushing some of the trash out of the way. The tower came crashing down on top of Vanny, stopping her.
"That should buy us a little time. Come on. I can see an exit up ahead." Ayla told the two. The three quickly tried to hurry as they heard Vanny screaming, hearing her clawing her way out of the pile. Ayla closed the door behind her as Foxy and Bonnie stepped inside, and locked it shut. There were sticky notes, as well bot heads, scattered everywhere, on the floor, walls, the stairs leading up to what could be a way out of this place. All with childlike drawings on them, like cake, presents, a family drawing of four: A man, a woman, two boys and a girl with red hair. Some of the notes had words like "Happy birthday, it's me, this is my home." However, one stood out that had a binary code on it. Ayla picked up, trying to understand what it meant. "Why...is...I...created?"
"This place...it feels off." Bonnie said.
"Yeah, this place is giving me the creeps too. Let's go." Ayla told them. She stashed the code into the pocket of her jeans. They headed up the stairs until they saw five security bots at a table, like a family. The five bots stood out, looking like the drawings on the sticky notes. A bot with a top hat, one wearing a fast-food shirt from one of the vendor shops in the pizzaplex, a bot with a missing head, a bot with red circles drawn in with a marker on the sides of the bot's face, a bot that looked like the woman from the drawings with curved hair, wearing a purple dress drawn in with a purple marker.
The three head up further up the stairs, seeing a door that looked like an exit out of the dumps. As they opened the door, the group found themselves in the kitchen storage room, where they kept the supplies. The three saw several patrol bots scouring the halls. They managed to avoid them by staying out of their range of sight as well as the cameras until they reached the warehouse basement. Ayla noticed that there were scattered papers spread throughout the hallway. She picked one up from off of the floor. She couldn't help but laugh when she saw what was on it.
It was a badly drawn stick person of her, drawn on it with crayon. At the top at the read "Missing: Ayla. If found, please bring back to Sun or Moon." Of course, it had to be them. Foxy looked over her shoulder, while he held Bonnie, who was looking as well.
"Looks nothing like you." Foxy replied. "Your "boyfriends" work, I take it?"
"I know. They're adorable. Sun's probably having a panic attack. I need to get back to them." Ayla murmured. The three rode the lift, as it took them up to the Atrium, to get to Parts and Services for Bonnie.
As Ayla, Foxy and Bonnie stepped out, now in the Atrium, they were about halfway across when Ayla was suddenly tackled by Roxy. The animatronic knocked Ayla to the ground as she landed on her back, pinning her to the floor.
"Got you now, runt!" Roxy growled.
"So, this is me replacement? She's quite impressive I do have to admit." Foxy replied.
"Ayla!" Bonnie shouted, worried.
"You two get to Parts and Services!" Ayla shouted at them.
"But we can't just leave you like this-" Bonnie was interrupted.
"Go! Now!" Ayla shouted at them.
"Foxy, help her." Bonnie tried to stop the animatronic as they headed over to the stage lift to Parts and Services.
"I don't like this either. But I can't lose you too. Not again." Foxy told him as they were now on the lift.
"I'll tear you apart!" Roxy shouted as she raised her claws, getting ready to slash Ayla. Ayla screamed as she held her hands in front of her face to shield herself. Suddenly, Ayla felt Roxy being pulled off of her and she opened her eyes to see that it was Moon who tackled the animatronic onto the floor. He struggled to hold her in place as Roxy tried to shake him off of her.
"Ayla!' Ayla heard Sun call out to her before she could say anything. Sun had wrapped his arms around her, squeezing Ayla tightly as he hugged her. "I'm never letting you go again. I can't believe it's really you! We thought that you were gone!" Ayla couldn't breathe as she felt Sun's arms constricting her even tighter.
"I-...I can't breathe!" Ayla gasped painfully out loud.
"Sun, let her go. She can't breathe!" Moon shouted at him, still trying to hold Roxy down. Sun's eyes widened and he immediately released Ayla and she slumped to the floor, coughing.
"I'm glad to see the two of you as well." Ayla said. She hugged Sun back before smiling at Moon. "You won't believe what happened in there or what I've found. Where's Freddy? Chica? The kiddo?"
"Ayla. You're okay?" Ayla heard Freddy call out and saw him, Chica, and Gregory as they walked over to them. In Chica's hands was Ayla's laptop and she handed it back to her as well as the flash drive. Ayla took them from her as she hugged her laptop to her chest.
"Oh, my babies! I'm never letting you out of my sight again!" She cried happy to see her tech again. Chica laughed.
"We kept it safe in case we needed it." She told her happy to see her okay as well. "We didn't know if you made it or not. But here you are! I'm glad."
Ayla looked over at Roxy, as Moon held her down, and walked over to her. She placed the flash drive into the animatronic starting up the retrovirus, downloading into Roxy.
"Come on, beautiful girl. Come back to us." Ayla whispered to Roxy as she watched the retrovirus on her laptop finish loading. Roxy's eyes widened. She stopped thrashing around as Moon still held her down until she went silent. Then she started move as she lifted her head back up, looking around at everyone confused.
"What's going on?" She asked and looked up at Moon who was still on top of her. "What are you doing? Get off of me!"
"Yep, that's her. Still charming as ever." Moon made a raspy laugh as he hopped off of the wolf animatronic.
"What happened?" Roxy asked, still confused, by what's going on.
"I'll tell you all about it in Parts and Services. There's a surprise waiting there. A big one." Ayla told her.
"What's the surprise?" Freddy questioned.
"I'm not telling." Ayla smiled. "You'll all have to see it for yourself. Come on!" She ran, heading to the lift while the others watched in confusion but followed her on to it and rode the elevator down to Parts and Services.
"Seriously, what is going on with you?" Roxy asked.
"Not telling." Ayla replied again and walked towards the doors, looking at Freddy. "Freddy, you first."
Freddy slowly walked over while Gregory walked by his side and Ayla opened the door for him, followed by Chica, Roxy, Sun and Moon as they stepped inside. Freddy froze in place as he stood in shock, not believing what he saw in front of him. Everyone else were in surprise as well. Bonnie was sitting down in a chair while Foxy stood next to him, checking Bonnie over when they heard the group walk inside. Bonnie smiled immediately as he saw Freddy and made a small weak wave.
"Hey, Freddy."
