Chaos On The Mountain Part 2
Land Of Lighting
Bofu Clan Compound
Naruto fixed himself up and went on a walk back to the way he came in, and the moment he opened the door he could hear the sounds of battle, the rush of wind, the crack of lightning and the grinding of stone.
He walked up the steps carefully to keep all his senses on high alert just in case there was more than those two hanging around the area. His instincts proved correct as he got to the top of the stairs there was a mixed squad of what he assumed to be the Kinkaku and Ginkaku Clan members there was 8 of them standing around looking alert but not in his direction as if they don't expect anyone to come out of the building.
'I can't believe they launched an attack like this on another Clan's compound.' Naruto was astounded by the sheer balls to do such a thing especially when there was a meeting between two Clan Heads going on.
It was a suicidal thing to do since this attack would only solidify the alliance between the Bofu and the Yotsuki and bring their combined wrath down on their Clans, the two Leaders of the Kinkaku and Ginkaku Clans must have been morons to do such a thing.
Naruto decided to get the first hit since he didn't want to get surprised again as he had against Zaku and Kuwabara.
"Hyoton: Tsubame Fubuki." Naruto went to his go-to Hyoton Jutsu, it had good range, relatively low Chakra consumption and it was versatile as an attack or distraction the Hyoton: Mangehyo he used before was stronger and more lethal but it consumed more Chakra and was only for killing or wounding opponents.
The Swallow-shaped icicles shot forward out of his mouth aimed right at the waiting squad of Ninja.
"Enemy!" One shouted as they were hit with a barrage of icicles, most of them got hit since they weren't expecting to be attacked.
Naruto followed that up with a barrage of shuriken and kunai he was hoping for them to separate so he could engage them one by one just like what he had done with Zaku and Kuwabara.
Naruto went after one of the Ninja on the left and hit him with a flying knee as he was still turning around with icicles sticking out of his back.
He of course crumbled as Naruto's knee cracked into his head with a thud, Naruto followed it up by pulling a kunai out and slashing at the closest Ninja to him who just barely deflected the strike away from him but Naruto pressed the attack while the others scrambled and moved in to take him out.
'This is going to suck.' Naruto thought as he prepared to use another Chakra intensive Ninjutsu.
"Hyoton: Shimogakure No Jutsu!" Naruto unleashed a blast of ice-cold air from his body and a freezing mist descended on the area completely enveloping the entire group.
This was a Jutsu that would probably get him noticed as it had a wide area of effect and Sensors would easily be able to detect his Chakra as the freezing mist was made from his Chakra, but it was extremely advantageous in a battlefield situation as he could feel where everyone was due to the cold mist basically being his Chakra and it obscured vision of everyone in it, even the vaunted Sharingan and Byakugan would only see his Chakra.
The one he was clashing against flinched back from the freezing air as frost formed on his clothes and Naruto took advantage by slipping under his guard and ramming the kunai up through his chin and into his head.
"Shit!" One of them commented as Naruto finished off the one he knocked out with his flying knee.
"Spread out Manji formation! Call any movement or noise, directions only!" Another one ordered and there was a flurry of movement as they did so.
Naruto could feel them as they moved and he could feel them as they stood with weapons at the ready with shaking hands and deep breaths. The Shimogakure was a cruel Ninjutsu much worse than the Kirigakure no Jutsu that some in the Land of Water used the main difference being the temperature the Shimogakure was extremely cold to everyone but the caster and that was a harsh condition for anyone, the air they breathed was cold and if they stayed long enough in it then their lungs would begin to freeze.
'How to deal with this now, the Manji formation is basic but it's very effective at covering all approaches.' Naruto thought as he felt them stand unmoving.
'I can't afford to wait for them to suffer from the effects of the Shimogakure and I can't afford any more Chakra intensive Ninjutsu after that fight with the other two I'm starting to run low on Chakra.' Even Naruto's artificially enlarged Chakra was not limitless. By this point, Byakko's Chakra was completely absorbed and melded with Naruto's own which did alter his Chakra signature to the point that even Karin wouldn't know it was him by Chakra alone.
This was one of the greatest benefits of the Chimera Jutsu but it was also a great risk as if the Chakra doesn't absorb properly or if he performs the Jutsu incorrectly then instead of enlarging his Chakra capacity it could cripple it.
"Hyoton Bunshin." He muttered as he took in the frost hanging in the air and condensed it into 5 identical clones of himself. Using the frost in the air used less Chakra but it also had the side-effect of thinning the mist.
"Go." He whispered to his clones, the plan he had was rudimentary but it was also the best he had without whipping out some of the high-tier Jutsu that the Yuki taught him.
'I wonder how Samui is, she was right in front of the building when it was hit.' He thought as he moved into position.
With Samui
The battle started off well for the combined Yotsuki and Bofu forces but as it went on the Kinkaku and Ginkaku forces began to regain ground and push them back.
It was obvious that the attackers despite being less in number had more Chakra and stamina than the Bofu and Yotsuki and that was beginning to swing the battle back into their favour even with Darui and A blasting through the rank and file of their enemy.
'Is that!?' Samui thought as she felt a huge burst of Chakra from behind her, she glanced backwards and saw that a white mist was rising upright by the main building.
'That must be Naruto but what is going on back there?' Samui questioned herself as she focused back on the battlefield.
There was a litter of bodies on the ground now from both sides and the once beautiful area stunk of blood and battle, there were craters in the ground and some of the smaller buildings had outright collapsed from the destruction going on due to the Ninjutsu being used by both sides.
"A! Darui!" A female voice screamed across the battlefield and a woman with a wild mane of blonde hair appeared, she was a tall and powerfully built woman and wore the old-style Ninja armour that was tinted silver and was in use almost 50 years ago. She was also wielding her ancestors weapons the Shichiseiken in her right hand and had the Benihisago under her left arm. This was obviously the leader of the Kinkaku Clan though Samui did not know her name.
"Time for you to fall and the Land to be ours." A man taunted, he had short cut silver hair and was lither than his counterpart and he also had the Kokinjo wrapped around his right hand and the Bashosen in his left. He was dressed similarly to her though his armour was tinted gold instead of silver. Samui however knew him as Momonosuke only because she was present for the interrogation of one of his captured Clan Members by the Yotsuki.
"You two think just because you can wield the Rikudo Sennin's tools that it grants you the right to rule over us!?" A was naturally outraged at the implication.
"We do because we have the power to do it!" The woman said proudly as she waved the sacred sword and pointed it right at A.
"Calm down A-San, charging ahead will do no good against opponents like them." Darui appeared next to A with a sparking blade.
A did not reply but glared at the two leaders.
"Momonosuke, Fujitsubo are you sure that this is the fight you want? Every other Ninja Clan will band together in fear of you even if you win this battle and wipe us out your Clans days are numbered." Darui matter-of-factly told them.
"That's what you think but we are Kinaku and Ginkaku reborn, it was only due to outsiders that they fell." Momonosuke boasted as he raised his golden rope clad arm.
"Foolishness." Darui whispered with a strange look in his eye as he looked at the two attackers.
"Fall here, it will make a better song." Darui finally told them.
After that there was a blur movement and a rush of wind as both sides clashed, A had punched at Fujitsubo the female and it was then that Samui realised that the woman was almost as tall as A and nearly as broad, she barely got the Shichiseiken up to block the punch and even then she was pushed back.
"Ranton: Laser Circus!" Darui unleashed his Kekkei Genkai, a huge ball of lightning formed in front of him and then multiple beams of lightning shot out from it and Samui noted that they moved like water fluid and smooth and it was aimed right at Momonosuke whose eyes widened at the sudden attack.
"Don't bother interfering Samui, we will only be killed." Kaizen said as he ducked into the same crater she was hiding in watching the battle between all the Clan Leaders.
"Of course, I'm not suicidal!" Samui responded as she watched lightning flash and the ground was torn up by the combatants, this was a battle of the highest level between many would consider Master Ninja.
There was no formal ranking system for Ninja in the entire world, most Clans had different ways of classing their own Ninja but the most universal was extremely simple and somewhat vague; Untrained-Apprentice-Ninja-Master was the most commonly accepted gradient but that could easily be changed and most did not bother with ranks because it was irrelevant on the battlefield.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
"What should we do then?" Samui asked just before she flinched back and ducked as a huge chunk of earth flew over her head the fighting between the leaders was getting more intense now.
"Support where we can and eliminate as many attackers as possible." Kaizen said as he pulled out a Hyorogan and popped it into his mouth.
"Right." Samui said as she watched the Bofu and the 10 remaining Yotsuki Ninja fight with the Kinkaku and Ginkaku Clan members, the only two Slave Ninja left were herself and Kaizen all the others were killed and their bodies littered the ground.
"You ready?" He asked as his Chakra refilled from the pill he took earlier.
"Yes." Samui lied as she adjusted the bandage around her head.
"We start by picking off the supporters around the edge of the battlefield then we will move in and suppress the rest." Kaizen laid out their battle plan and once Samui nodded they both moved out to join the battle that was surely ending its final stages.
With Naruto
Naruto panted heavily as he leaned against the stone wall in the courtyard, the battle had been harder than he expected and the wound on his shoulder and leg had reopened luckily his other one hadn't. He also got a few new ones and he was sure 3 ribs on his right side were broken or cracked from a kick from one of his opponents.
He surveyed the carnage that was unleashed, the ground was pock-marked with craters some were filled with water due to a Suiton Jutsu while there was also burns from the use of Raiton Jutsu. After taking out the first 2 he expected the remaining 6 to be just as easy but even with the Shimogakure Jutsu in effect tracking their movements he still had trouble creating a dent in their formation but eventually after a brutal Ninjutsu exchange he came out on top.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
The ground shook from another explosion and Naruto nearly fell down from the shockwave which shook the wall he was leaning against.
"What the Hell is going on over there!?" He wondered aloud and pulled himself together and climbed on top of the wall to see just what was going on.
The sight that greeted him was just utter chaos he could see that there was a lot of fighting going on between the attacking Kinkaku and Ginkaku and the Bofu and Naruto could even see some of the Yotsuki guards also still fighting.
"Can't see Samui." He said looking out for the blonde girl.
But what did catch his eye was the intense battle between A who was teamed up with who he assumed to be the leader of the Bofu Clan against two people with blonde and silver hair who were probably the leaders of the Kinkaku and Ginkaku Clans.
"Hey! Who are you!?" Someone called out to Naruto and he looked down to see someone approaching him from the front where the battle was taking place.
"I'm a member of the Yotsuki Clan." He replied hoping his lie would work.
"No, you're not we gathered all the Yotsuki in front and I don't remember you." Naruto's hope was dashed as the large dark-skinned man with blonde hair approached him.
Naruto could see stormy grey eyes staring at him and he also had a kunai at the ready though the man was also wounded, Naruto could see blood dripping from the left side of his torso it seemed to be a bad one since it had dripped down and gave a red sheet to his left pant leg.
"Bye!" Naruto said and he ran, he was heading for the battlefield where he could lose the man now chasing him.
"Stop!" He called out after Naruto who had jumped over him from the high wall.
Naruto did not head the order instead he just ran and tried to avoid all the Ninjutsu being thrown around the area.
His actual plan was to lead the man chasing him to an isolated area and then take advantage of his wound and knock him out in order to use the Chimera Jutsu, the Ranton was one of those Kekkei Genkai that was easily passed down from parent to child completely unlike the Shikotsumyaku which was extremely rare and hard to pass down more like a mutation that a bloodline.
It was similar to the Uchiha's Sharingan and the Hyuga's Byakugan as all Hyuga are born with the Byakugan while the Sharingan has to awaken and there had been times in the past where there were only a handful of Sharingan users within the Uchiha Clan.
'Yeah, that's right keep following me.' Naruto thought with a smirk as he allowed the man to close the distance a little.
Naruto dodged the kunai that was thrown at him, this was the strategy he was going with until he could get the man alone.
Everyone else was far too busy fighting for their lives to pay attention to him being chased by a Bofu Ninja, but he could see that some of the Bofu were acknowledging the man chasing him but remained fighting their enemies instead of aiding him.
"Ranton: Laser Cirus!" He unleashed a Ranton Jutsu at Naruto and he realised that he couldn't just dodge these ones as they actually curved after him once he jumped to the left towards the lakes in an effort to avoid them.
"Suiton: Suijinheki!" Naruto unleashed his first Suiton Jutsu in a long time, the water rushed from the lake and rose up between Naruto and the oncoming lightning laser beams.
He wasn't expecting the Jutsu to outright stop them but he was expecting them to at least slow down which was a correct guess as they blew through the wall of water but by that point, Naruto had created a Mizu Bunshin to take the hit for him instead, he had used too much Chakra on Hyoton Jutsu and he did not want to create a Blood Clone either.
His clone was hit and the Ranton Jutsu ended but Naruto was flanked by the man who kicked him into the lake which he landed on but used the Water Walking Technique to stand on them.
'I'm in a rough spot here.' He thought, he was on one of the lakes now so there was a wooden bridge to his right slightly raised above the surface of the water, to his left were the waterfalls and certain death, behind him was just the rest of the lake and in front was the sure and an angry Bofu Clan member.
"Nowhere to run no kid, give up." He said to Naruto as he dropped onto the surface of the lake.
"I don't know who you are but you're not a Yotsuki or a Kinkaku or Ginkaku Ninja." He said again as Naruto racked his brain to think of an out.
"Who knows." Naruto decided to engage him in small talk to try and get more time to think.
"No point buying time, Darui-Sama and A-San will beat those two beasts and then there will only be you." He continued getting closer to Naruto.
Naruto remained kneeling and gathered what was left of his Chakra for one final Jutsu waiting for the perfect moment to use it.
"Have you given up? That would make things easier on you." He said as he came to a stop right in front of the kneeling Naruto.
"Hissatsu Hyoso." Naruto said to him as a thing spear of ice shot out from underneath Naruto's foot and hit the man right in his chest. This Jutsu was usually used as a wide area of effect attack but Naruto did not have the Chakra to pull that off so instead he decided to create one single cold and sharp spear and aim at a vital point.
"Musu!" A voice shouted as the man in front of Naruto collapsed forward and Naruto couldn't get out of the way so he was crushed under the man.
Lucky for Naruto they were on the water and his Chakra had run out so he simply began swimming with a body in front of him, Naruto grabbed the man who was still alive though obviously wounded.
"Enemy in the lake! He has Musu!" The same female voice said and Naruto looked up to the bridge and saw at least 15 Bofu Clan members staring down at him.
"Enemy! Who!?" A male voice asked.
"Unknown but Musu was chasing him before I didn't get a good look and he's hiding behind him now." The woman said as they watched Naruto.
"There!" Another voice called which sounded somewhat familiar and Naruto looked over to the shore and saw Samui and her Captain staring at him as well, her eyes were wide and she had a bandage on her head with dried blood on her shoulder.
Both of them had a better look at him than the Ninja on the bridge, they could see his face and any move he made as they were essentially in a flanking position with him facing the bridge.
'Samui! Please get me out of this!' Naruto thought as he made a gesture, he threw his head back towards the waterfall and hoped Samui would get the message.
"I've got him." She called and she threw a barrage of kunai at him forcing him backwards, but there was a hissing sound and Naruto realised what she had done.
"Explosive Tags!" Someone called out just before they exploded.
Naruto was blown backwards along with Musu who he was still holding tightly like he was a toy, but he was close enough that the blast threw him over the edge and Naruto fell with Musu over the edge.
"Well done Samui, killing an enemy always takes priority." Kaizen said to the shocked girl.
'I hope he has a way to survive that fall, I didn't hit him directly.' She thought as the hand that had thrown the kunai was shaking.
"Tch! I wanted him alive." The female Bofu said.
"Come on! We must return to the battle." One of them said and there was a flurry of movement as they returned to finish their enemies.
Leaving Samui looking over the lake and the waterfall where Naruto fell.
With A and Darui
A easily dodged the sword strike aimed at him and retaliated with a brutal body shot which sent Fujitsubo tumbling head over heel as she screamed from the lightning enhanced blow.
Both combatants man and woman had numerous small wounds and were bleeding from cuts, slices and both of them even had ugly bruises on their faces and bodies. The battle had been brutal to both of them but none of the wounds was fatal or decisive.
Darui was also faring well against his own opponent, avoiding the Kokinjo and slashing away with his own cleaver-like sword forcing Momonosuke to use the Bashosen to create some room between them by unleashing a huge wave of fire.
The situation was very similar between Darui and Momonosuke as both of them had burns, bruises
and cuts but no critical wound that would tip the tide in either of their favour.
"This is getting us nowhere. A stamina based battle is one we'll lose." Darui commented to his ally.
"I hate to admit it but you're right, they haven't slowed down and her strikes haven't gotten any lighter." A admitted he was very annoyed but then he pointed at both of their opponents.
"Fighting against those who know what those Tools do is the height of foolishness!" A scolded them.
"We all know about how the Kokinjo draws out a person's Kotodama then you have to sever it with the Shichiseiken and seal it with the Benihisago." Darui agreed with his ally's sentiment nodding.
"So you're telling us that these weapons are useless then, that these treasures passed down from our Honored Ancestors are useless!" Fujitsubo was livid at even the thought.
"Fuji, it's time for us to use that." Momonosuke said to her as he stopped feeding the Kokinjo his Chakra and it stopped glowing gold.
"So it seems." She growled and dropped both of her own tools, they clattered to the floor along with their counterparts as Momonosuke did the same.
"We have a Kinjutsu that will crush the both of you!" Fujitsubo boasted as she cracked her knuckles.
"You have nothing beyond those tools." A dismissed the both of them out of hand.
"Watch this then fool!" Momonosuke said as he grabbed Fujitsubo's hand with his own.
"KINJUTSU: KYUBI GAIKO!" Both of them called together.
There was an explosion of red vile Chakra from both of the Clan Heads and when the smoke cleared it revealed them to be cloaked in a shroud of Red bubbling Chakra.
"Impossible!" A shouted at the sight.
"How the hell can they have inherited the Kyubi's Chakra from their ancestors!?" Darui was equally shocked.
"Do you want to know?" Momonosuke teased them with a sick grin and a wicked look in his now slitted red eyes.
Their bodies had actually physically transformed, both of their eyes became red and slit just like the foxes own but they also gained thick jagged looking whisker-like marks on their face along with clawed hands and feet.
"We have passed the Kyubi Chakra down by keeping it pure." Fujitsubo revealed with a savage grin showing another physical change; very sharp teeth.
"Inbreeding." Darui muttered disgustedly.
"By only allowing the strongest to breed, only those who inherited this Chakra could have children and then those children would pass it on to their own." Momonosuke revealed.
Inbreeding was a common practice among those Clans with Kekkei Genkai but even then it was usually limited to first cousins direct incest was considered impure and morally as well as spiritually wrong. But it appeared that the Kinkaku and Ginkaku Clans had no such morals and the two in front of A and Darui were the result of those eugenic programs.
"How do you wanna do this?" Darui asked A.
"One blow!" A announced as his monstrous Chakra flared up from the challenge.
Both red coloured Ninja did not allow them to plan further as both charged at their opponents intent on ripping them apart.
"Suiton: Suijinheki!" Darui unleashed a huge wall of water from his mouth and Momonosuke was caught in it.
"Raiton: Kangekiha!" He wove another sign and lighting sparked from his hands then travelled to the water that was being produced from his mouth and instantly electrocuted his opponent who roared like a beast in response.
'Just enough time.' Darui thought as he wove through more Hand Signs.
"Ranton: Panther Hunting!" He unleashed a gigantic panther which was made of lightning but looked like bright water and it moved fluidly.
The Storm Panther charged forward and hit Momonosuke dead-on as he recovered from the electrical shock of lightning, the panter bit down on his shoulder and then a second later it exploded it a huge rain of water and lightning which sparked and hissed.
Darui did not allow him to recover he couldn't afford for the Kyubi-enhanced NInja to get even a moment of rest.
Momonosuke would not go down without a fight however as he picked the Kokinjo back up and used it as a whip against Darui which forced him to dodge as he closed the distance.
"I will never lose!" Momonosuke roared in pure rage as the Kyubi's Chakra took on a life of his own and his own skin began to peel and burn.
"Ranton: Laser Circus!" Darui unleashed another barrage of lightning beams which hit the monster dead on and one even blew his left arm off.
"ARGH!" Momonosuke was little more than a drooling beast now as the blood began to mix with the Chakra.
"Ranton: Ranken!" Darui jumped high in the air and pumped a huge amount of Ranton Chakra into his sword making it glow white and he brought it down with all his might and impaled Momonosuke in the chest as he raged around.
"Raiton: Kangekiha!" He unleashed the Jutsu while his sword was lodged in Momonosuke's chest and fried him from the inside out.
"Hah. Hah." Darui panted as he let go of his sword and Momonosuke slumped to the ground as the Kyubi's Chakra dissipated into the air though it really was horrific as the skin and blood had been consumed that had been consumed was now splattered all over the floor around Momonosuke's body and he barely looked human.
With A
A had been taken by surprise by the increase in Fujitsubo's speed and now he had 4 gigantic cragged claw marks across his chest and of course, the skin around the slices was also burnt from the Kyubi's toxic Chakra.
"That was a surprise." He commented hiding his pain as the blood ran down his chest.
"You're alive. I wanted to kill you in one hit." Fujitsubo looked annoyed as she held up her bloody hand and licked the blood off it.
"What a surprise I was thinking the same thing." A said as he took a stance, his right arm was extended and had his palm facing Fujistubo who was looking on curiously, his left arm was tucked tight in his chest as if hiding it from view.
"Are you ready to take my strongest and fastest blow?" He asked her.
"That sounds likes fun, if I kill you then I'll be the strongest and fastest in the country." She grinned and gathered even more of the Chakra around her, she unlike Momonosuke ascended into what would later be called Version 2 and she became a true grinning monster with a fox-like outline.
There was a beat of silence and they moved and the air trembled in their wake and the ground was ripped up from the force of them charing each other.
"LIGHTNING STRAIGHT!" A roared as he hit her with his strongest and fastest punch.
"DIE!" She responded as she lashed out with both clawed hands.
They met in the middle and there was an earthquake and the entire area around them was blown to pieces and smoke was covered the area.
Darui walked over just in time to see the smoke clear and he saw A standing tall with a badly burned left arm and then behind him was Fujitsubo who was missing the right side of her body and blood spurted from the grievous wounds.
"No." She whimpered as she fell and died.
"So ends the Kinkaku and Ginkaku." Darui commented on seeing her collapse.
"A victory well earned." A said as he fell to one knee.
"A-Sama!" His guards shouted as they swarmed near him.
Darui's strength gave up at that moment and he fell to the ground in a sitting position.
"Darui-Sama!" His own Clan arrived on the scene but he noticed Musu was missing.
"We won." Darui said to them.
"As did we, we have scattered their main force and are now hunting the remains down now." Raika one of his main Lieutenants reported with her head bowed down.
"That's good." Darui muttered as he looked over all the carnage that was unleashed from the battle.
'The things I do for peace.' He thought as he fiddled with the ring on his finger.

Chapter 18 hope you all enjoyed it, this was a big one with a lot to get through. I hope you enjoyed this climax of the battle. I almost thought this wouldn't get done due to one of my tyres on my car blowing out but lucky for me I work next to a garage which replaced it for me.
The Ranton was always going to be the second Kekkei Genkai Naruto would get, I have always planned what all 5 Kekkei Genkai that Naruto would get but now I'm actually split between a few at the minute, I'm thinking about doing a poll the first I've done in a long time below are the choices I'm going to put on it.
1. Sharingan
2. Ketsuryugan
3. Meiton/Dark Release
4. Give Naruto 6 Kekkei Genkai and choose 2 of the above
