A/N: The odd character will be slightly or a bit more than slightly OOC in this chapter. tried to keep them as they were in the series but they are not, so if anyone has an issue with that, too bad.
I can't seem to get into this story any more, but will try to finish when I can. Mind you depending how long this Covid 19 pandemic goes on, you never know I might do more work on it, (though would not hold me to that).
Seeing as I am at home at the moment, like so many people around the world at this time of crisis, hope all you readers are keeping safe and sound x
This chapter will most likely be only a filler chapter, as it has sat on my computer for such a long time!
The Lannister army had been on the move for several days, close to a week and the men beginning to become wearied by the forced march that their lord had demanded of them. Rumours was rife within the army of why they were marching at the such a speed, they had heard their officers talking about their lord's anger at something the king had done. The rumours of what it was had reverberated down through the ranks, from senior officers down to junior officers and down even further to the lowliest soldier. All knew that whatever it was, it would not end well for the king, it had ended well for the last king either.
Tywin Lannister stood in his tent, staring at reports from his officers and other paperwork, that was needed when an army as large as his was on the move. he pushed his lips together in a grimace, at a report he had received from one of his spies, at the rate that his army was moving, his son would be at the wall before his army intercepted the king and the Winterfell scum, who thought they could get rid of his son at the wall, something which he was not going to allow, even if it meant war!
He knew that Robert despite his pompous bragging would not win this war, he was no longer the famed warrior that he had been when he had defeated house Targaryen, now he was nothing more than a drunken blaggard. Nor did Robert have as large an army as what the Lannister's did, unless the other houses came to the king's aid, and many of those houses were more disgusted with the excess of Robert Baratheon than they had been with the last mad king of House Targaryen.
The crown, Tywin knew only too well could not afford to finance an army during wartime, they could not afford the army they had now. The treasury was almost empty and the Iron Bank would not loan the Baratheon throne any more money, the king owed them way too much money as it was.
Tywin, smiled to himself despite his concern that his army was not going fast enough to get to Winterfell to rescue his children and grandchildren. Coming to a decision he called to the guard outside his tent, ordering him to send word to others bring his officers to him, the army would have to go faster than it had been travelling, there was no other choice he had if he was to save his heir and other family members.

Robert, king of the seven kingdoms of Westeros, sat in the solar of his old friend glaring at the person opposite him, the recipient of his glare, glared back. Meanwhile, his old friend Ned just sat behind his desk trying not to show his amusement or concern at the new situation that, was presently unfolding in his office.
"I am the king and you will do as you are told," he growled.
This was directed at the person who until a few moments before, had been sat in the seat across from him in Ned's office, but at the his insistence, they had been told would be accompanying him to Kings Landing when the royal party left to return to the capital, had sprang to their feet in defiance of the kings words.
"I WILL NOT!" was growled in a half shout back at the king, from the young man was now glaring angrily at the king.
Robert rose to his feet also, his temper beginning to wane as he tried to justify his reasoning that the boy, no young man he reasoned to himself, standing before him had to go to Kings Landing with him and not to the wall, as had been decided before the king and his entourage had arrived in Winterfell, and the truth that the young man standing before him was his son, had come out.
"I AM THE KING AND YOUR WILL DO AS YOU ARE TOLD, OR I WILL HAVE YOU DRAGGED THERE!"
Robert yelled back at John, his temper finally exploding at John's stubbornness, he certainly took after Lyanna in that trait, Robert thought to himself as he argued with his son.
Ned he noticed was staying out of it, while the two of them yelled at each other, both not willing to be out yelled by the other. He would have thought that with their long friendship that Ned would be on his side and commanding John to obey him, he was after all the king.

Cersie was furious, how dare her husband pass sentence on her brother and send him to the wall, he had not the right, Jamie was her brother, the other half of her soul and she would not stand by and not allow him to be sent to that cold God forgotten place, so far away from her.
Her thoughts turned to ways in which she could free him, and herself come to that, and slowly her thoughts formed into one thought, one plan that she knew would forever free her and her twin, from the buffoon she married.
The king had to die!
