Chapter 15: You Did What!?

(Flara)

"You did WHAT!?" I yelled at Dew as we were all in the guys dorm getting ready to head out to Port Town.

"I invited Tony, why the panicked look?" Dew questioned.

"Because Flara has a huge crush on the new guy and is now overthinking things." Snive stated bluntly.

"As per usual." Ema smirked.

"I am not!" I yelled. "Just going over how I'm going to embarrass myself..."

"See what I mean." Snive said.

"I still don't see the big deal in it. If anything this'll be a good thing for you." Spark said.

"Exactly, you can use this opportunity to get to know each other. You can even be the one who tells him about the places we go to." Ema said excitedly.

"That is true. I just don't want to do anything dumb and make a fool of myself." I said calming down a little.

"Already past that point a while ago." Snive stated causing me to snap my attention to her.

"What!?" I panicked but soon noticed the gang laughing.

"I'm only joking, he probably thinks you're cuter for it." Snive said.

"Really?" I said in disbelief.

"You be fine. Just show off more of your cuteness and he'll be yours." Ema said excitedly as I blushed hard.

"Please don't say it like that. Makes me feel shallow." I said giggling a little.

"I'll have to have a talk with this guy first before anything happens. Don't want just anyone being with my sister." Tepper stated puffing out his chest.

"Tepper..." I groaned feeling embarrassed by him.

"Just looking out for my little sister." He said before pulling me into a tight hug. I only rolled my eyes but smiled and hugged back.

At least he cares.

"Alright gang, let's head out. Dew said that Tony should be waiting for us at the school's front entrance. Best not keep him waiting." Spark said as everyone started filtering out the room.

"Wait, if he's coming then I gotta get ready. I must look like a mess." I said about to dash to my bathroom but was instead wrapped in vines and carried out the room with everyone else. "Or you can just drag me there and out of my stalling. Thanks Snive."

"No problem Flara. You look fine so there's nothing you need to worry about, it's just a walk into town." Snive said as she carried me towards the school's entrance following the rest of the group.

(Ten minutes later)(Nearing school entrance)

"Um Snive, think you could put me down now. It's obvious I'm not gonna run away at this point and I don't want to look weird in front of Tony." I said as we neared the entrance.

"Ha trust me, you're already passed the weird point." Ema, who had been sitting on Tepper's head the whole time, joked causing everyone to snicker.

"Oh not this again. " I said exasperated.

"Relax, she's just joking Flara. I'm sure you've been fine around him so far." Spark said. "And he probably likes it, like we told you before."

"Who said I was?" Ema grinned.

"You're really not helping me right now Ema." I deadpanned and hung my head low in shame.

"Alright alright, I'm stopping." Ema giggled before laying forward on Tepper's head, causing him to smile a little. I smiled at that.

"Remember what I said though. If anything is going to happen though, I'm gonna have to have a little chat with the guy beforehand." Tepper stated.

"Please don't do or say anything dumb. I know how you tend to handle things. No offense." I stated.

"None taken, you are kind of correct there but it's for your safety. I'll keep my cool." Tepper said.

"When have you ever kept your cool for things?" Dew joked.

"I can beat you up now if you really want that." Tepper stated bluntly.

"My point exactly." Dew grinned putting his hands behind his head.

"So can I get down now?" I said again.

"Hmmm, I don't know, you sure you won't run away again." Snive said as everyone giggled.

"Ha Ha, very funny. I'm already past the point of no return anyway so you might as well put me down now." I stated.

"True true, my vine was getting tired anyway." Snive said finally putting me down and allowing me to walk again. We soon made it to the door and headed outside, finding Tony already waiting there coolly leaning on the side of the steps.

"Hey guys, I started to think you guys weren't coming." He said leaning off the side and up to us.

"Why wouldn't we have come? We've been wanting to head into town for weeks." Spark said giving Tony a friendly handshake. I was a bit unsure on how to include myself so I stayed quiet in the back of everyone, only giving a shy smile and greeting which he smiled at, causing me to blush and look away. I was then pushed by Snive into going right up to him. I glared at Snive who just smiled at me before I turned back to Tony who I gave an embarrassed smile.

"It was great of you to make it. I hope we didn't keep you waiting for too long." I said.

"It's fine, I only just got here as well. It was great of you guys to invite me, been wanting to check this place out for a while." Tony said.

"It was no problem bro. You seem like an awesome guy so it felt right to invite you." Dew stated. "You're gonna love this place"

"Ha thanks man." Tony smiled sheepishly at the compliment.

"Come on guys. Let's not waste any more time we got left for the day and head out." Snive said as everyone walked past me and Tony to head down the stairs.

"I'll also be happy to tell you about the sites we pass on the way to the town. Just think of me as your personal tour guide. Let's go." I smiled before grabbing his hand unintentionally and pulling him down the stairs after the rest of the group. Realizing what I did I quickly let go, blushed hard, and looked up at him with embarrassments. He didn't seem to mind it though. He actually smiled at me instead, blushing as well, causing me to smile back at him. We stood there looking at each other before we broke eye contact and followed the group.

(Bottom of the stairs)

"Why your dad built the school on the top of a massive hill I'll never understand." Snive stated after the long trek down the stairs.

"He said it was a great spot of it. It's the first thing people see when entering PokéPark and has an incredible view of the ocean." Tepper stated as we all walked along a beach.

"He was definitely right on both parts." Tony chimed in looking out at the picturesque ocean next to me. "It's gonna take gonna take me a while to get used to how beautiful this view is."

"That's Seasong Beach for ya. I lived in PokéPark all my life and I'm still not used to how good this place looks." I stated bringing his attention to me. "The rest of PokéPark has sights just as amazing as this though."

"Can't wait to see what PokéPark has to offer then." He said and I smiled a little at him. "How big is this place by the way? This place would seem massive given its name."

"It's pretty big, taking hours to explore this place. Though all the areas are pretty much within walking distance." I stated.

"Areas?" Tony said.

"Yep, there are four areas that encompass PokéPark. These areas are the Cove area." I stated.

"My home area and the best in the park." Dew gloated while putting his hands behind his head.

"Eh, not the best but not terrible either." Snive said.

"I'll take it." Dew said proudly, smiling ear to ear as Snive only shook her head at him.

"Then you have the Arbor area." I said.

"Where I'm from. Beautiful to look at but it's pretty boring there. Better to hang out anywhere else honestly." Snive stated.

"Do let it stop you from going though. It's a great place to relax in my opinion. The quiet really helps." Spark chimed in.

"Then we have the Crag area and it is exactly how it sounds." I said.

"Craggy, rocky, full of Pokémon strong enough to survive the harsh terrain?" Tony stated.

"Right on the poké. Ah, home sweet home." Tepper sighed contently.

"I live there as well. It has it's places though, especially with the snowy area. There's plenty of scenes there that you have to check out." I said excitedly before I calmed down a little and smiled sheepishly before saying "When you get the chance."

"I'll be sure to. I'll definitely need a guide though so I don't get lost and since I now have friends from there..." Tony said slyly causing me to beam a little on the inside. I was about to say something but someone beat me to it.

"Don't worry Tony. Big Bro Tepper would be happy to show you around my home area." Tepper said forcing his way between me and Tony and putting his arm around Tony's neck while smiling smugly.

"Tepper!" I pouted while everyone including Tony started laughing causing me to join in too soon after.

"So any other places I should know about?" Tony asked.

"Yep, there's one more area known as the Tech Area. I can guarantee you it's unlike anything you've seen." I said as I moved back next to Tony.

"How so?" He asked.

"Ever heard of a train before?" Dew asked.

"Yes actually but not from around here." He said sheepishly while scratching the back of his head.

"PokéPark is actually a leader in tech development around the world thanks to the Tech Area's Scientorium." I stated. "On the surface when you walk in, it's basically a massive train station but below it is a super futuristic lab where PokéPark's scientific advancements are made."

"That sounds pretty cool. Are we able to visit that place?" Tony asked.

"Well the train station you can definitely go to since they now connect the areas but the leaders of PokéPark made the lab off limits to everyone except our top minds. The leaders didn't want tourists causing a distraction down there." I explained.

"That's understandable." Tony said.

"Not a total loss in my opinion." Dew spoke up. "Didn't understand any of the tech stuff that was going on down there anyway."

"You're not one for learning stuff anyway." Snive snarked.

"Actually!" Dew said in a nerdy tone. "I have been doing pretty well in my class thank you very much, I just prefer a more direct 'into the fire' type of learning."

"We'll see about that when grades come out. You know when that will be Tony?" Snive asked Tony.

"I'm honestly not to sure. I don't think I'm that deep enough within the faculty to know that. I'll ask sometime when we get back to the school." Tony stated.

"Let's not talk about grades. I don't think I'm doing that well so I'm pretty worried." Tepper groaned.

"If you're not doing very well you can always come to me for help. You know I don't mind." Ema said changing her position on his head to look down at him.

"I know I could but you know where our study sessions usually lead to instead." Tepper smirked up at her. "You're pretty distracting in a good way."

"Never hear you complain about it." Ema winked at him.

"Nothing to complain about." Tepper said sultry.

"Bleh, get a room you two." Dew said fake gagging.

"Ugh, don't want to hear about what you two do without us around today. We hear enough about it from Ema in the room." Snive groaned.

"You talk about me to them?" Tepper question Ema.

"Only good things." Ema smiled down at him and winking.

"And a lot of info that I don't want to know about. Ugh I still get nightmares." I cringed. I like the relationship Ema and my brother has and I hope to get one like theirs as well. But there are just some things that should be left unsaid.

"Don't talk like you don't talk about Ema to us as well Tepper." Spark stated laughing. "Didn't know you had that in ya Ema."

"*gasp* What did you say to them." Ema said accusingly to Tepper. He was going to respond but Dew chimed in.

"Only the bare minimum, but just enough to get a picture burnt in my head. Ugh, if y'all enjoy what you do and it makes you happy then keep going. Don't let us bring you down, as much as we're not used to it." Dew stated sounding pretty profound out of nowhere. We all turned to face him with bewildered looks on our faces.

"Wow, didn't think you had that in ya Dew." Snive said as we all agreed.

"What? I can sound all wisdom-ful and shit whenever I want to." Dew said as we all groaned.

"And there it goes." I stated as we all soon laughed.

"Well, enough philosophical talk. Looks like we made it." Spark said as we all look to see that we have finally entered Cove Town.

"Wow, I don't think I've seen a place so urbanized before. I really like it along with the seaside feel it has." Tony states as I agreed with a nod.

"This town is pretty well developed, second only to the tech area. It's got a great feel to it and there's a good bit of places that I recommend you check out. Though you might want to ask Dew for deeper stuff on this place. My tour guide knowledge only goes so far." I said smiling sheepishly and looking away.

"Well you're doing an awesome job by the way. Thanks Flara." He smiled warmly as I felt my face heat up from looking at him.

Arceus, his smile is gonna be the death of me.

"Aaaaaanywho, where to first Dew. I prefer a place with food cause I'm starving." Tepper said as he quickly pushed his way in between Tony and I. I quickly got annoyed but soon felt embarrassed when I turned to Ema to see her wiggling her eyebrows at me, seeing what had happened between Tony and I.

"I can go for something to eat as well." Tony stated.

"Same here. Dew, whatcha got?" Snive asked as Dew seemed to start thinking hard.

"Well, I got one place in mind." Dew said as he started smirking.

"What place?" Ema asked as we all waited for an answer.

"Take a guess." This caught us off guard but Spark seemed to already have an idea.

"Of course." Spark facepalms as we all soon caught on with the exception of Tony.

"Does it have to be that place?" Snive groaned.

"Of course, it be good place for Tony to try first and it'll be a good teasing session for Spark." Dew said as Snive groaned. "Is something wrong?" He asked genuinely.

"No, it's nothing. Let's just go." Snive states as Dew just shrugged.

"I think it's a great idea, been a while since I teased Spark about it." Ema said as we all soon figured out where Dew was thinking of with exception to Tony. We all nodded in a agreement.

"Um, gonna need some context here." Tony stated.

"You'll find out soon enough. You're gonna enjoy it. Lead the way Dew." Ema said as we all followed Dew, Spark groaning loudly before following.

(A few minutes later)

"And here we are." Dew stated as we entered the place, a little bell ringing when we entered the door.

We were currently at a semi-popular diner called "Ocean Salt Diner." It had a similar look and feel to most diners/cafes I've seen and been to with a long counter people could eat at as well as plenty of chairs, tables, and booths around. It was a medium sized place, not too big not too small, and had a bright color scheme with regular blues, light blues, sky blues, and whites filling up the whole place. The place was kind of packed, filled with mostly water and flying Pokemon given the area we were in. There were also a few other types as well, even some Pokemon that I recognized around school.

"Hello, welcome to Ocean Salt Diner. How many will be seating toda-." A bubbly Simipour said from behind a counter. She seemed to be fixing menus up behind and stopped her sentence when she saw us. "Oh! Dew! Guys! Good to see ya."

"Good to see you too Sally. And nothing much, just thought we'd get some grub and what better place than here to get it?" Dew said.

"Honestly wouldn't have been my first choice..." Snive grumbled while walking up to the Simipour, purposefully blocking part of Dew's and Sally's views of each other I noticed.

"Snive, always a treat with you around." Sally joked while Snive only glared.

"I'm sensing some tension between those two." Tony whispered to me.

"It's everytime we come here." I grumbled.

"Something happened?" He asked.

"It's more about what hasn't happened yet." Spark chimed in. "Between our resident Servine and Dewott. Both oblivious to each other."

"Ah, I see." Tony said as we turn our attention back to the three.

"Dew has told us that he honestly prefers the places back at the Arbor Zone anyway." Snive stated.

"What!? I have never said that." Dew said panicked while looking between to two females.

"Trust me, you have." Snive said getting most of Dew's attention now.

"Why do you always do this!? You're being extremely rude for no reason at the weirdest times. It's usually when a girl's around." Dew stated making Snive start to panic.

"And why is that detail so important!?" Snive exclaimed.

"Shouldn't we stop them?" I asked seeing that this argument was getting a bit out of hand.

"Don't worry, Sally's got this." Spark said.

"ANYWHO!?" Sally said whole pushing between the two. "Every guy has a preference, some more obvious than others. For now, all that talking probably worked up a bigger appetite. We should have a booth opened up for you guys so just follow me." Sally said as she grabbed 7 menus for us and lead us further into the place. The whole time I noticed Snive giving Sally the stink eye as Dew and Sally were talking the whole about random stuff.

And I think I can guess the reason why Snive is doing that...

"This place seems pretty nice. It's been a while since I've been to a water type place like this." Tony had said.

"You're gonna love this place. They have a variety of underwater foods from veggies to fish caught in the dungeons. I recommend the Magicarp." I said.

"I'll take you word on that." He smiled which I returned. We soon made it to a half circle booth that could easily fit all of us. From left to right the seating order was Tepper, Ema, Me, Tony (probably from everyone's doing), Dew, Snive, and Spark, who kept looking around the entire time for something.

"I'll leave y'all to figure out your order and I'll make sure to get you guys' special waiter." Sally winked at Spark causing Spark to blush and all of us to giggle except for Tony who was still left out of the loop.

"You'll understand in a sec." I whispered to him and he responded with a thumbs up and smile, the smile I returned with my own.

"It was good seeing ya too Dew. Talk to ya later." She winked at him while Snive seemed to only glare more at Sally, though Sally didn't seem to mind and/or take notice. "And it was good meeting ya too...actually, I don't think I got your name." Sally directed that at Tony.

"It's Tony, I'm new around here." Tony said a bit sheepishly.

"Welp, I hope you have a great time here. See ya soon." Sally said in a friendly tone, a tone slightly different from the one used with Dew. She walk off towards the kitchen, presumably to get that 'special' waiter for us.

"Looking for something Sparky boy." Tepper snidely commented to the still searching Pikachu.

"Or rather someone." Ema commented soon after causing everyone to giggle, even Snive cracked a grin to it when Sally had left, while Spark only groaned.

"Why do you guys continue to torment me while we're here." Spark groaned as plants his face into the table.

"Cause it's fun and the two of you are cute together. It's been long enough since we got to make tease our leader like this." Snive said as we all agreed.

"Oooh, I think I get it now. So who's the lucky girl?" Tony whispered to me before I sheepish scratched the back of my head.

"Well..." I started before...

"Didn't expect to see you guys here. It's been a while." Said the special someone in an upbeat tone as they walked up to the table and stood next Spark. It was a male Prinplup who was wearing an apron and hold a pen and pad.

"That's the lucky guy." I stated as Tony then looked shocked and then a bit embarrassed.

"We finally managed to get a decent day off." Snive said as she stretched herself upward letting out a slight moan.

"How have things been over here Prince?" Tepper asked as Prince let out an exasperated sigh.

"Ever since the new exploration school had opened up, there have been a lot more customers than there used to be. Great for business, but that also means more work for us." Prince complained before getting his upbeat tone back and draping himself over the embarrassed Pikachu. "But if it allows me to treat my little lightning bolt the way he treats me, I'll put up with it."

"Priiiiince." Spark moaned out embarrassed as he lifted his head off the table finally. We all noticed that his red cheeks where now a shade darker and his face was also turning red. He also leaned into Prince's head making the exchange even cuter.

"Ugh, so lovey dovey, bleh." Snive said not seriously while looking away.

"I know, I can feel myself getting diabetes off how sweet these two are." Dew continued.

"It's the right kind of sweet." I said while cooing at the couple.

"Exactly Flara." Said Ema doing the same.

"Welp, as much as I want embarrass my lightening bolt more..." Prince stood back up and got his notepad and pen ready. "I got a job to do, don't want to get trouble. What are you guys having?"

As everyone gave there orders, he soon got to Tony who was last to give his.

"And what're you having...You're new." Prince said to Tony in a matter of fact-ly tone.

"Yeah, the name's Tony, nice to meet ya." Tony greeted as he reached across the table to give a handshake which Prince returned.

"Prince Prinplup, at your service. How did you get mixed up with this crazy group?" He asked jokingly.

"Crazy? We're not crazy." Dew said jokingly offended before receiving a look from Snive in the form of a raised eyebrow. "Okay, we're not thaaaat crazy."

"I beg to differ, heh heh." Prince laughed slightly before turn his attention back to Tony. "Lucky for you. New Pokemon eating here for the first time get a twenty percent discount."

"Oh right, I completely forgot about that." Dew said surprised.

"We're gonna go all out." Tepper said hyped up.

"Our team funds might say otherwise." Snive pointed out.

"Plus, I don't want another 'incident' in our room the last time you went all out." Spark pointed out.

"Arceus the smell..." Dew shuddered.

"Hoooold up, let's not go into that topic. I actually want to eat today." I stated.

"I second that." Ema said

"Third." Snive continued as Tepper got more embarrassed.

"It was one time..." Tepper pouted quietly.

"So what is it you'll be having?" Prince asked Tony.

"I'll take what Flara's having." He said which brought a smile to my face which didn't go unnoticed by Prince who shot a glance at me and winked knowingly. This caused me to blush a bit.

"Nice first choice. Your food will be out in a few minutes. See ya in a sec." Prince said as he went off to the kitchen. But not before kissing Spark on the top of his head. This caused Spark to short circuit slightly and look back at the retreating Prinplup with a smile on his face. Ema and I cooed at the interaction.

"So cute." I said.

While we waited for our food. The group got to talking about random stuff but the conversation soon fell upon the incident that happened at PokePark when we were all younger.

"It turned out that Darkrai was pulling the strings of Wish Park the whole time." Spark explained.

"Really? Darkrai huh?" Tony said with a raised eyebrow. I couldn't place his tone. It sounded like disbelief but also sounded like he knew something more.

"I know, it was crazy to think a legendary would do something so petty." Dew stated.

"Petty is the right word for it. Putting all the Pokemon of PokéPark through that." Snive said with a bit of venom in her voice. "Taking away our memories and stuff just to get his way..."

"It always hurts remembering that. It's a good thing Prince snapped me out of it or else we wouldn't be sitting hear like this today." Spark said looking back at the Prinplup who was working and waiting for orders behind the counter.

"He played just as big of a part in this story and fight as we did." Dew stated as Snive hummed in agreement

"And in the end, after Spark kicked our butts to get our memories back, we still managed to beat Darkrai up and become the saviors of PokéPark." Tepper said triumphantly, raising his glass in the air and wrapping his arm around a giggling Ema.

"Cool it there bro, people are staring." I said feeling a little embarrassed at the scene Tepper was causing.

"Though it must be stated that Darkrai did sacrifice himself to rewrite the destruction of WishPark when he saw everything was destroyed. Not sure why though." Snive stated.

"So whatcha think? I'm sure it doesn't compare to you saving the world..." Spark started.

"But it was still pretty awesome." Dew finished. Tony didn't say anything and seemed to be lost in thought.

"Tony?" I questioned.

"So that's where he went..." Tony said out loud but seemed liked he was talking to himself.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked which seem to break his train of thought.

"Hmm? Oh sorry guys. Believe it or not, I actually fought Darkrai before." Tony stated which surprised all of us.

"No Way!" Dew said jumping up out of his seat.

"Gah, sit. Now. And use your inside voice next to me. Don't want anymore embarrassment coming from you." Snive stated using a vine to pull Dew back into his seat. He turned to her annoyed.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Dew questioned ready to argue.

"Guys, fight later. What do you mean you fought Darkrai before?" Spark said which brought everyone's attention back to Tony.

"About three or four months ago, me and my team got wrapped up in a dream hopping, spacial adventure involving Palkia and Darkrai. Darkrai has been meddling in some stuff that pissed of Palkia who in turn attacked me and my team. We soon cleared the misunderstanding and with help from Cresselia, caught Darkrai in the act of him taking over the world and put a stop to him. He jumped through a portal before we could really apprehend him though. Now I got an explanation on where he went." He sheepishly smiled at the end which I giggled at.

"Glad to be of assistance man. Can call us up to be apart of your team anytime." Dew said. "Though that makes his sacrifice even more confusing."

"I'm be sure too. You guys can definitely handle tough stuff that gets thrown at cha." Tony stated as we all just smiled at his praise.

"That means a lot coming from an explorer like you." Spark stated.

"We'll be sure we'll meet your expectations." Snive stated.

"And don't count Flara and I out just cause we weren't involved. That doesn't mean we can't pull our weight." Ema stated triumphantly while I tried to match her energy.

"Heck yeah." Was all I said but Tony seemed to enjoy it nonetheless.

"Food has arrived!" Prince exclaimed with a tray full of our food. He quickly set it down and said "Hope you all enjoy, be back in a bit."

"Finallyyyy, I was starving." Ema said.

"You and me both babe. Now..." Tepper started while looking around at everyone. "I say we dedicate this meal to our successful schooling at the exploration school as of late and to our new friend Tony."

"Ooooo, I like that idea. I second that." Dew stated happily.

"With more time, I'm sure we could have done more but I like this way too." Snive agreed.

"Alright then." Tepper started with a drinking glass in his hand. "A toast to Tony and the school."

"CHEERS!" Everyone except Tony, who was blushing like mad with embarrassment, called out.

"Aw, thanks guys. You really don't have to but that doesn't change the fact that I'm glad I met you guys. You're really making this job all the more awesome." Tony stated.

"And you make learning there awesome as well. I'm glad you came." I said before quickly stuttering with a blushed face "T-to the school. W-we all are."

"Now then..." Tepper started as everyone knew what he was about to say.

"LET'S DIG IN!" We all yelled out.

[Hope you all enjoyed, now onto the news. First, throughout these past few months, I've been entertaining the idea idea of writing two other stories. One is on the Lion King, more specifically the Lion Guard, and the other will be a main series Pokemon story. I have a chapter written for one and the other only has an outline so far. Second, part of me wants to rewrite the first two chapter of this story in some way, mainly because of how cringe they are. I know that I am not the best writer but maybe I can do something better. Third, I may want to add my ongoing story to archiveofourown. I've been using that site for a bit and there's some good stuff there. Just be on the lookout for all this stuff, hopefully I'll do it in a timely manner. Anyway, onto the outro
