"You have rats?"
"Yeah, one of them gave birth under the kitchen sink recently. If you listen, you can hear the babies squeaking."
She shudders.
"Ugh. Gross."
"You're a vampire, but you're afraid of rats?"
"I'm not afraid of them. I just don't want them anywhere near me."
"Um, yeah... that's called being afraid."
"As spoken by someone who never had to worry about the Black Plague."
