Long ago, in an age since passed, Mobians roamed the lands as beasts.

It was in this time when they held close within their souls the mysterious ways of magic. This divine magic came from the heart, in the days when the Goddess Orelia first filled their hearts with her light.

However, as time passed, Mobians became more intelligent and independent, slowly losing their natural instincts and their ways of magic. Few remember the days of this divine gift, even fewer know how to wield it.

The Palemist Forest was also a source of magic. It once held a place of worship for Eurna, the Goddess of Time. But foolish Mobians defiled the holy ground, and thus the forest sprung and the fog weighed heavily. Many have tried, and failed, to venture within the forest walls. Soon the forest was deemed too dangerous and, by then, the magic that Mobians once held was all but a distant dream.

The last known true magic users were the Eilhounds, a race of ancient beings, said to have been the first beasts created by the Goddesses. Their very existence has since faded to myth so no one knows what truly happened to the Eilhounds.

But now, in modern times, Mobians rely on technology to resolve their basic needs, feeding off the natural world in hopes to expand their want of knowledge. Many would think that the divine gift of magic was lost, yet not all has been forgotten...
