January 8, 2006

I packed my in-ring gear as I get ready to leave my hotel room. I barely slept at all.

I'm a little nervous. Okay that's a lie. I'm extremely nervous. Tonight is my first ever Women's title match on PPV. Well, if you exclude the battle royal at Taboo Tuesday, this was my first real title match.

John has to defend his WWE title inside an elimination chamber. This would be his very first time being inside the chamber. I could tell how nervous he was, despite his best not to show it. I heard it was one of the most grueling match types of all time. Just as grueling as hell in a cell, another match type he has yet to compete in.

I heard a knock on my door. And it was Trish. I blushed a little. And I noticed a hint of red in her cheeks. We hadn't spoken to each other since we did that segment where I walked in on her while she was showering.

And then the segment ended where she asked for her towel and I held it up for her and I blurted out 'Wow. Nice boobs.' Of course I wasn't really looking at her breasts I had my eyes close the entire time.

So yeah it wasn't fun. I mean the kiss was one thing but then the creative team having me walk in on Trish while she was showering was another.

And I can't imagine what John's expression must have been when he saw it on TV.

"So are you excited for our match tomorrow night?" Trish asked. "Yeah. I can't wait."

"I just thought we'd had a little work out for our match. Not too hard though." she replied.

"Sure. That sounds good." I said.

Next night

New Years Revolution 2006

Trish and I went our separate ways once we got to the arena. She went to go see Ashley while I'm with John in his locker room.

Though I kept thinking about the previous Monday night. When John told Torrie he would never take her back.

"I will never be your boyfriend again. After what you did two years ago."

"Hey. You okay there babe? You seem a bit distant."

I looked up at John, who looked at me concerned.

"Yeah. I'm okay." I said with a little smile."

But then my smile faded and I decided I should be honest with him. I don't want to be having any secrets.

"Actually. Something is bothering me."

"What is it?"

I took a deep breath. "I know it's probably none of my business, but that night you told Torrie that you would be her boyfriend again after what she did. What exactly happened?"

John sighed. "You deserve to know the truth. You are my girlfriend after all." he replied.

That brought a brief smile on my face and a brief blush on my cheeks.

He took a deep breath.

"Torrie and I used to date. Back during my days as the Doctor of Thuganomics on Smackdown."

"We dated for about six months and I believed she was the one. That was until I found out she was cheating on me with Rene Dupree." he said.

"And for the past several months she's been trying to get back together with me, even though I told her I was over her. And she's been attacking any woman that's been talking to me." John said. "Even though I didn't have any feelings for any of them." he said.

I immediately felt bad for John after hearing all of that.

I took his hand in mine. "I'm sorry to hear that John." I replied.

Then I saw that smile return. "It's okay. At least I have you now. I'm completely over her. I promise."

That made my heart beat and brought a tear to my eye.

We kissed briefly before he pulled away.

"Has Torrie been hurting you?" he asked suddenly, which caught me off guard.

"What?"

"Adam and Amy told me they saw Torrie attacking you a few months."

I could feel more tears forming, only these were sad tears.

I simply nodded.

"She also attacked me that one night where you found me in the women's locker room." I sobbed.

He pulled me in for a tight hug, and I immediately melted in his arms.

"If Torrie hurts you again, you let me know and I'll have Adam sick Amy on her. Not literally of course. Just give Torrie a taste of her own medicine."

"Okay. I'm sorry for not telling you."

He smiled again. "I could never get mad at a face like that."

We made out again, and I could feel the fireworks exploding.

Soon there was a knock on the door.

I opened to see a staff member.

"You're match is in a half hour."

I said okay and closed the door.

I immediately grabbed my suitcase and said goodbye to John before leaving.

"I'll be rooting for you." John replied.

I turned around. "I'll be rooting for you too babe."

Trish and I were at the gorilla position as our promo video was being played.

I took a couple of deep breaths and tried to relax as I was getting ready to head out there for my entrance. Which involves skipping down the ramp and jumping up and down in the ring. It's kind of fun, though it makes me look like a little kid getting excited about getting candy.

"You ready?" Trish asked me. I gave her a thumbs up and a smile. Then my music started playing, and I went out there.

Then Trish came out. We lock up, wrestled a bit. At one point Trish had me in a headlock. I struggled to break free, and at one point I put my hand on her right breast (which was scripted), and she let go of me. I could feel my face heating up.

So far the fans were getting fired up. At another point I got out of the ring. I started hearing 'Let's Go Mickie!' chants, which was awesome!

Then I walked over to where Lilian Garcia was sitting at and picked up the Women's Title belt, and just admired it. A lot of people were assuming I was gonna hit Trish with it. But of course I would never do that.

Then later I would hit the Stratusfaction, and the crowd went wild. But instead of immediately going for the cover I just sat there with a dazed look on my face for about 20 seconds (Again scripted) before finally hooking Trish's leg for the cover, and Trish kicked out just before the 3 count.

Soon we were both back on our feet, and I tried to hit her with the Chick Kick, another one of her signature moves. She ducked and ended up hitting me with a Chick Kick of her own.

She covered me and got the win.

Later

Medical personal examed me. I was barely able to get up and head backstage. Trish ended up helping me over to the trainers room so I could get checked out.

Trish didn't kick me in the head that hard, but it still hurt. Thankfully the doctor said I didn't suffer any injury, but he did say I should get some sleep just to be safe.

I went back to my lockerroom to watch John's match. And boy was it sick. Both good and bad.

To say it was overwelming would be an understatement. He seemed to be holding his own against the other 5 competitors. But on the other hand, it was torture. Seeing him fall on the steel floor outside the ring had me cringe in pain.

And if you think that wasn't enough, at one point he started bleeding. It wasn't as bad as that time he bled out during his match against JBL at Judgement Day nearly a year ago, now that was scary, but it still gave me a sickening feeling in my stomach.

Soon John was able to overcome the odds and end up retaining the title. And everything was going great, that was until Vince McMahon came out.

He then announced that Edge was cashing in his Money in the Bank contract he won back at Wrestlemania 21. And my heart dropped as Edge hit two spears and ended up winning the match and becoming the new WWE champion.

I sat there in shock for a few moments before I turned my attention to John, who was still on his back. I wasn't too concern about him losing the title anymore.

He ended up having to be rushed to the hospital. I waited in the waiting room, praying that John was going to be okay.

"What are you doing here?" I looked up to see Torrie. Really? Not this again! I thought to myself. "I have a right to be here. I'm here to make sure John is okay." I insisted.

"So am I. But at least I care about my Johnny boy. Unlike you." Torrie whined.

"You care? Says the lady who cheated on him." I shouted. Torrie stood there speechless. "That's right. John told me what happened. And how you broke his heart. So don't you dare tell me that you care for him and that I don't."

She got up in my face. I feared she was going to slap me again. "Ma'am. I think you need to leave." a female security guard said to Torrie.

"I didn't do anything." Torrie said. "You think I'm stupid? You're being loud and disturbing everyone here in the waiting room as well as the other patients."

"This isn't over." Torrie whispered before leaving.

I sat down and tried to calm myself down.

"Oh my Goodness! Are you Mickie James?" I looked up and saw a teen girl. "Yes I am." I replied.

"Can I get your autograph?" she asked. "Uh, sure." I said, obviously surprised. She handed me a picture of me. I signed it, she thanked me with a hug. "You were amazing against Trish."

I smiled at her. "Why thank you."

"I'm also like how you handled that Torrie lady. I can't stand her." "Boy. You have no idea." I replied.

"I gotta go. It was nice meeting you." she said before leaving.

Wow. My first fan.

"Mickie James?" I turned around and saw it was a doctor. "Yes?" "John Cena is awake now. Thankfully he didn't suffer serious injuries. Though we'd like to keep him overnight just to be safe." I felt my heart pounding. "You can go see him now if you like."

I went over to his room, and once he saw me he gave me his usual smile. I walked up beside him and took his hand.

"Hey babe." he greeted. "How are you feeling?" I asked. "I feel a lot better. Now that you're here."

"Doctors said there's nothing serious. But they're keeping you overnight." He groaned. "I thought we were gonna party tonight."

"Even though you lost your title?" I asked. "I don't always need championship gold to be happy. You being here is all I need." he said. Which put a big smile on my face.

I leaned in and we engaged in a passionate kiss. After several minutes things started to get heated, and we both stopped.

"I should definitely get back to the hotel and get some sleep." "Aww. Leaving so soon babe?" "It's past ten."

His eyes went wide. "Yeah. You're right." "I'll come over tomorrow and pick you up." He pulled me back in for another kiss. I didn't resist. "Can't wait."

"Take care." I replied.
