As they were leaving Pixie Frog's Office the little Principle's voice stopped them "hold on Mr. Lyon I forgot to give you something." He said catching their attention "what is it principle Pixie Frog?" Ingrid questioned as the little Frog pulled out a file from his file cabinet before handing it to Windsor "here this is a copy of the perks of being the Alpha that I'm supposed to give to the new school Alpha." He said handing the file to Windsor "thanks Principal Pixie Frog see ya." Adam said before leaving the office with his friends "well looks like things are about to get more interesting around right ms. Warthog?" Pixie Frog asked his assistant only to be ignored.
With Adam and his friends
"Hmm this file has a lot of interesting information." Windsor said as he looked through the perks of being the school Alpha "what do you mean by that Windsor?" Jake asked "well it seems that members of the current Alpha's pack can partake in some of the perks as well." Windsor explained "really that's awesome that's means that we'll be living large." Jake said excitedly "not so fast Jake Windsor said "some of the perks" not all of them." Adam said bursting his monkey friend's bubble "oh really?" Jake questioned getting a nod from his best friend "then what perks do we get?" He questioned Windsor "well like Adam we are allowed to cut the line in the Cafeteria, free access to the teacher's lounge, and hang out in the library any time we want." He explained "I see so what do you guys want to do now?" Jake questioned "well it is lunchtime let's go to the Cafeteria." Slips suggested "sounds good let's go I'm starving for a Banana." Jake said "you guys go on ahead me and Lupe need to talk about something." Ingrid said "alright see you at the Cafeteria then." Jake said as they walk away.
As soon as their male friends were gone Lupe turn her attention to her Giraffe friend "so what did you want to talk about Ingrid?" She questioned "well it's about Adam." Ingrid said nervously "is this about how he's the new school Alpha?" Lupe questioned "yes." Ingrid answered "I figured I still can't believe that he's the new Alpha that was definitely a surprise." Lupe said "yeah but that's the thing I wanted to talk to you about." Ingrid said "what is it?" Lupe asked "well you heard that part about harems right?" Ingrid questioned "yeah what about it?" Lupe asked "well that means a lot of girls will be after him." Ingrid explained "yeah that's true." Lupe said "and of course that means us too." Ingrid said getting a nod from her friend.
Being friends for so long meant that they knew about each other's feelings for Adam with Ingrid falling for him when she first met him as for Lupe she at first only saw him as a friend but overtime her feelings for him began to grow "so what are we going to do? If we're not careful some random will try to take advantage of him." Ingrid said making her friend adopt a thinking pose.
After a minute of thinking an idea popped into the little bird's head "I have an idea." Lupe said "what is it?" Ingrid questioned "well it's we both know that whoever gets Adam first takes the title of the Alpha female right?" Lupe asked getting a nod from her friend "so all we have to do is make sure that it's one of us." She explained "alright but who will that be?" Ingrid questioned "why it's you chica." Lupe said surprising the Giraffe "WHAT!?" Ingrid said in shock "you heard me you'll take the title of Alpha female." Lupe said "but why? I'm not Alpha material I'd be a terrible Alpha female." Ingrid said "no you won't you're nice, caring, and you got a good head on your shoulders you'd be a great Alpha female." Lupe said encouragingly "besides you've had a crush on him longer than me it's only right that it'd be you." She said causing her friend to look at the ground "but why shouldn't it be you after all I would've thought you would have wanted the title for yourself." Ingrid said surprised that her friend didn't want to be the Alpha female "heh I won't lie when I say that I wouldn't have minded being the female in charge but I'm too quick to anger and I'm too blunt besides you have something I don't." Lupe said confusing her friend "and what's that?" Ingrid questioned "you're a good judge of character if we run into any other females that want Adam too you can make sure that they're trustworthy and won't use him for his title that's why you're the best choice for the part." Lupe said encouragingly as she placed a wing on her friend's shoulder.
Ingrid looked at ground in thought contemplating her friend's words knowing that she's right about her judge of character and how she can tell if someone had ulterior motives after a minute of thinking before looking back at Lupe with a look of determination "alright I'll do it." She said making the little bird smile "great! I know you'll be great and I have a plan for how to get you two alone." Lupe said getting her friends I interest "alright I'm all ears." Ingrid said as she listened to her friend's plan.
With the boys in the Cafeteria.
"Man the news spread fast." Slips said as he ate his food.
As soon as the boys made into the lunchroom many of the Animals immediately swarmed them congratulation Adam on his new title with a few females flirting with him making the human nervous luckily for him they managed to get through the crowd, get their food and sit down "man that was uncomfortable." Adam said "what are you talking about Adam you're finally getting respect and getting a lot of looks from the ladies." Jake said while eating a Banana "I'm Just not used to the attention that's all." Adam before taking a bite of his sandwich "well get used to it my friend because from this day forward no one will treat you bad anymore." Jake said before a voice called out. "Hey guys!" They turned to where the voice was to see Lupe flying towards them.
"Oh hey Lupe we saved you a seat." Slips said as the toucan landed on the table "thanks but listen Adam Ingrid needs your help with something." She said catching Adam's attention "what is it she needs help with?" He questioned "you'll see just meet her by the broom closet by Principal Pixie Frog's Office." She said getting a nod from Adam "alright well I'm off to see Ingrid see ya guys later." He said as he left the Cafeteria 'alright the plan is in motion good luck Ingrid' Lupe thought as she watched Adam leave.
With Adam
When Adam arrived at his destination he sees no one around "Ingrid where are you?" He called out with his back to the door he was so focused on looking for Ingrid he didn't notice the door opening until he felt himself being pulled into closet letting out a loud "WHOA!" As he was pulled into the closet.
As darkness clouded his vision all he heard was the sound of the closet door slamming closed and being locked before hearing the light being turned on.
"What's going on?" Adam questioned while covering his eyes from the light.
"What's going on is we're finally alone." A familiar voice said.
"Ingrid?" He questioned as his eyes adjusted to the light.
As soon as he could see he noticed two things 1. he and Ingrid we're in the broom closet with the door locked and 2. She was holding him in her arms.
"Hey Adam." Ingrid greeted whilst holding him close "hey Ingrid Lupe told me you need help with something." He said causing her to chuckle "yeah about that Lupe only told you that so that I could get you alone." She explained confusing the human in her arms "what? Why would you want me alone?" He questioned " because I need to tell you something." Ingrid said "huh? Tell me what?" Adam asked feeling her pull him closer to her.
Ingrid was silent for a minute while feeling the butterflies in her chest 'alright' she thought 'this is it' steeling her nerves she spoke "Adam we've known each other for a while right?" She questioned getting a nod from him "well as time went on I started to develop feelings for you that only grew overtime I guess what I'm trying to say." She explained while taking a deep breath "I love you." She said surprising Adam "really you love me?" He questioned getting a nod from her "but why me?" He asked "well you're kind, caring and brave especially when you stood up to Bull I just couldn't help but fall for you but I can't make you love me and even if you don't share my feelings I'll be okay with as long as I don't lose what we have." She explained as she hugged him.
Adam was deep in thought of her words he never thought anyone would like him in a romantic sense and yet here was Ingrid bravely confessing her feelings to him after a minute of thinking he came to a decision "you something?" He questioned her attention "I think I'm willing to give this a shot." He said surprising her "y-you mean?" She questioned with a stutter "yeah Ingrid if you're okay with having someone like me as a boyfriend." He joked causing her to scream out happily before surprising him with a kiss "wow." Adam said breaking the kiss "yeah." Ingrid said with a blush "want to do that again?" Adam questioned getting a smile from her "sure!" She said before joining lips with him again making this the happiest day of her life.
Meanwhile
"HAHAHAHA!" Cackled a wolf-like creature whilst standing over the unconscious bodies of a few street thugs "THIS WORLD HAS NO SHORTAGE OF LIF-FORMS TO PLAY WITH THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN!" the creature said looking at the thugs he beat up "NOW LET'S SEE WHAT OTHER HAVOC I CAN CAUSE HAHA" it before walking away. Just who is this creature and what is it planning to do and more in who can stop it tune in next time to find out.
