I don't own Kingdom Hearts, Marvel's Spider-Man, or What if...? They each belong to Disney, Square Enix, Marvel, and Sony. Sorry, guys, the latest chapter of Frozen Journey is still on a roadblock so I thought I give this another chapter. And hey, maybe I'll go back to update one of my older stories while I try to work things out for Sora's fight against the Foretellers. No reason to keep you guys with little story content because of a writer's block for one story but once I figure it out my focus will be back on Kingdom Hearts: The Frozen Journey.

Now, then as many of you figured out, the last chapter explained what happened to Maleficent and why she won't appear in this timeline at all. If you haven't, go back and read the prologue. XD But I'm sure many of you may wonder if Sora's main party will be Spider-Man and Queen Elsa then what happened to Donald and Goofy? This chapter explains that as well as where our main heroes were before the worlds fell. Before I get into that, let's get on to the reviews really quick.

SORARULES23: Thanks, it's good to be back.

Minegun18: Well, I hope you find the rest of this fanfic both interesting and entertaining.

KINGKAIJU5: I mostly plan to focus on the movies but there's always a chance I could throw characters from Gravity Falls or Phineas and Ferb in Traverse Town or Hollow Bastion. I'm not sure I mentioned this but I was not a fan of Rayna and the Last Dragon but the others are great options. In fact, one of them's due to appear in this one. :)

Eli villa: Glad you think so. Here's another chapter since I have a little writer's block for Frozen Journey.

NaruSaku fan in Kentucky: Yeah, Insomniac has so far done Spider-Man justice and I have no doubt they'll do it again in Spider-Man 2 and do justice for Wolverine as well. Glad I'm doing Dr. Doom justice, I've taken the inspiration of Doom from his appearances in the hit Marvel shows as I know, as of right now, they were some of the best interpretations of Dr. Doom. Now, while this will follow the events of KH1 maybe only half of the Disney Worlds from the game will appear in this game. I plan to include 8 worlds from the original game (Okay, now reading that and it's more than I thought) and 6 will be new worlds. Hope that answers you're question.

Guest: Thanks. Here's another! :)

Dexter: Thanks and maybe some of those appear in this story. Maybe they won't. Only time will tell. Though I can say now that Rayna and the Last Dragon won't. Sorry.

Prime's apprentice: No, it's just a coincidence, the Master of Master won't be the same guy as he was in Frozen Journey. His identity will be most likely the same in the cannon if we get to that point. Here's hoping they announce a new game at the 20th-anniversary event. Hope you enjoy the official first chapter. Also would love to know more info on Spider-Man 2... as well as the new Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad game.

the mysterious Mr.E: Well, here's more! :D

Guest: Thanks. Robin Hood could appear. As for Lion Guard... not so much. Sticking with the movies.

Guest: Rhino could appear but I don't think Icemaster is going to appear in this at all.

lyokoMARVELanime: Yes, I'm really excited because after seeing What if...? The Watcher will have a big role in this story as well. And yes, the last chapter I mixed several Spider-Man franchises as Spidey's origin. The rest should focus on Sony's Spider-Man game series but expect some nods to the Spectacular Spider-Man because it was a great show. I'm glad you noticed how Maleficent would be out of the game because of Doom in this and now you get to see how Donald and Goofy will be out of the game... don't worry, they won't die. Yes, the change of events will be a bit of a surprise for Xehanort as well because he had to follow the laws of time travel in the series while the Master changed the very events of the game. How it'll come into play... you'll just have to wait and see.

Guest: I actually have plans to use several Marvel villains in this... but mostly Spider-Man villains. You won't see a dark Fantastic 4 in this.

And with that out of the way, let's start the official first chapter! Take it away, Uatu!

Chapter 1: The Calm Before the Storm

"Indeed, much like many versions of Sora, Riku, and Kairi, they too wished to explore the otherworlds. This would eventually lead to the events you all know. However, they blissfully unaware how different the forces of Darkness were..."

Once Sora had finished bringing the last amount of stuff they needed for the raft, he, Riku, and Kairi were finally able to finish the construction of the raft. Which meant they only had one more to prepare before they set sail to the other worlds. The sun was setting as they hug out by their favorite tree. Riku leaned up against it while Sora and Kairi sat and the tree's trunk. They enjoyed watching the sunset as Sora spoke up, "So, Kairi's home is out there somewhere, right?"

"Could be," Riku shrugged, "We'll never know by staying here."

Sora tilted his head as he turned to Riku, "But how far can a raft take us."

"Who knows?" He admitted, "If we have to we'll think of something else."

"So, suppose you get to another world," Kairi giggled for a moment before asking, "What would you do there?"

"Well, I haven't really thought about it," Riku admitted. Sora rocked back and forth on the trunk of the tree as his oldest friend continued, "It's just... I've always wondered why we're here on this island. If there are any other worlds out there, why did we end up on this one? And suppose there are other worlds... Then ours is just a little piece of something much greater. So we could've just as easily ended up somewhere else, right?"

Sora lied down on the tree as he shrugged, "I don't know."

"Exactly. That's why we need to go out there and find out," Riku nodded, "Just sitting here won't change a thing. It's the same old stuff. So let's go."

Kairi realized, "You've been thinking a lot lately, haven't you?"

"Thanks to you." Riku smiled at Kairi. Sora felt a little jealous of this for some reason. The way Riku talked to Kairi. Especially now since they were older. He didn't know why though. They were all just great friends. Right? Riku continued, "If you hadn't come here, I probably would've never thought of any of this. Kairi, thanks."

Kairi giggled before replying, "You're welcome."

A few minutes later, the trio of friends decided to call it a night. Kairi was already on the shore and was heading towards her boat. Sora walked across the bridge to reach the stairs for the shoreline when he heard Riku call out, "Sora!" He turned around to catch a star-shaped fruit that Riku tossed to him. The older teenage boy smirked, "You wanted one, didn't you?"

Sora raised an eyebrow in confusion, "A paopu fruit?"

"If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They'll remain a part of each other's lives no matter what." Riku recalled the legend of the fruit. Sora knew the legend well. Which made it the perfect gift when it came to asking someone out a date, marriage proposals, any kind of romantic stuff. Riku smirked as he walked past him, "C'mon, I know you want to try it."

"What are you talking...?" Sora asked before he stopped mid-sentence as his eyes drifted to Kairi. Wait, was he referring to him and Kairi?! Sora had to admit she was a great friend but they were just friends... she just happened to have beautiful eyes, her wonderful laugh, and he just wanted to be around her because she was nice and pretty and...

The moment he realized that he had a crush on Kairi, Sora's face started to turn red as Riku burst out laughing. Sora tossed the fruit aside and chased after Riku... whether it was just to go home before Kairi saw him or try to kick Riku's butt, Riku didn't care. He made his point. However, unaware to them, the lost master looked down upon them and he wasn't alone. A man in the exact same black coat stood knelt next to him. He turned to the lost Master, "So, that's him?"

"Sure is," The Lost Master nodded, "The champion of the light. The one who will mess up the events I had planned. Which is why we need to prevent that, Luxu."

"So, you came to the present to switch out Maleficent for Doom to search for the Princesses just to change the outcome?" Luxu raised an eyebrow under his hood, "I mean... I've heard the stories of Dr. Doom but do you think that'll be enough."

"No... it's part of it but there's still a good chance he'll stop him and my champion of darkness," The Lost Master admitted.

"Then why not kill him?" Luxu offered, "Stop him before he gets strong enough to stop him?"

"He's too important. The seven lights still need to clash with the thirteen seekers of darkness," The Lost Master answered, "However, there is something else we can try to ensure that he won't have the strength to stop what's coming?"

Luxu turned to him, "How?"

"At this point of time, the King of Disney Castle has left his world to investigate the stars vanishing." The clocked master gestured to the sky, "He left a message to his most trusted friends to find him and when they do... together they become a force to be reckoned with."

"So? What does that have to do..." Luxu turned to his old master before realizing, "Oh! I see where you're going with this!"

"Bingo!" Luxu's master nodded, "It be quite difficult for Sora to succeed without the aid of the King's lackeys. Without them, he can't possibly stop what's coming. I've taken precautions to make sure those two don't leave their world."

"Anything you want me to do?" Luxu wondered, "To ensure your champion of darkness succeeds?"

"Just stick to your role," Luxu's master told him, "And if all else fails, move on to plan B." The Lost Master's pupil nodded as he watched his master left, "May your heart be your guiding key."

Unaware of the two cloaked villains, the Watcher watched these events play out...

"At this point of time, the Heartless had already begun their attack of the realm of light. Doom's presence may have slow down the main invasion before he was ready but worlds have fallen prey as the stars began to vanish. This still did not go unnoticed by a certain King and he left his world to investigate it. Not before though, he passed on a message to his most trusted friends about the Key Bearer and his role in saving what was left of these strange and unknown worlds. In many timelines, they find him and forge a friendship that would stop many threats to the universe... However, due to the actions of the Lost Masters... events play differently here."

The next day, at Disney Castle, the events played out as they would. Donald would find the King missing, he'd find the letter from his best friend. He told Goofy about discreetly only to be discovered by Queen Minnie and her lady in waiting; Daisy Duck. The latter Donald was actually dating. So, he told them everything. From there, Donald vowed to find the King and the mysterious key in the world of Traverse Town. According to the King's message, Leon would point them in the right direction.

The Queen nodded gratefully before sending Jiminy Cricket, a survivor of a fallen world, to write about their journey to find the King and save the worlds. On their way to the Hanger Bay where the GummiShip was, where Jiminy explained how he got to Disney Castle. Goofy gasped in shock, "Gawrsh, Jiminy, your world disappeared, too?"

"It was terrible. We were scattered," Jiminy explained the Captian of the King's royal knights, "And as far as I can see, I'm the only one who made it to this castle."

Donald spoke up, "Goofy?"

Donald mentally hoped the number one rule that they had to follow and ensure the bearer of the key would know too. He really hoped Goofy remember so he wouldn't screw it up. Goofy then realized what Donald was reminding him, "Oh, right..." He then looked up back to Jiminy, "I gotcha. Ya mean, while we're in other worlds, we can't let on where we're from. We've gotta protect the world border."

Donald corrected him, "Order!"

"Right! World order," Goofy chuckled as Donald sighed. It was probably as close as he was going to get with him. Goofy then looked down to their current clothes, "I guess we'll need new duds when we get there."

The plan was simple, board the Gummiship, head off to Traverse Town, change into some discreet clothes, find the key, save the worlds, and find the King. At least, that's how the events should have played out. All of a sudden, just as they were about to reach the hanger, Donald and Goofy slammed into an invisible wall. Donald got up with a glare, "Hey! What's the big idea?!"

Goofy looked just as confused as he placed a hand head only to not go further than they were, "Hmmm? Some kind of invisible wall?"

"WAK!" Donald gasped to reach out to touch the invisible wall to realize Goofy was right. He then slammed his fist on it, "No, no, no! We've got to get through! We've gotta find the King! LET US THROUGH!"

Just then, Queen Minnie and Dasiy joined them as the former gasped, "Oh, no! What happened?!"

"Some kinda invisible wall! We can't get through!" Goofy explained.

Jiminy, who had recovered from the shock, walked up to the wall and went through, "Gosh! I can get through just fine!"

Dasiy walked up to Jiminy and walked through the wall too, "Me too!"

Unaware to them, the Lost Master finished placing the spell before turning to leave them helpless. Just then, the Gummi Engineers: Chip, and Dale, ran up them. The former asked, "What's taking so long?"

"Yeah," Dale nodded, "We expected you moments ago."

"Some kind of invisible wall is preventing us from leaving." Goofy answered, "But just me and Donald. I guess anyone else can get through."

"Uh-oh!" Donald's eyes widened, "I know what happened."

Minnie raised an eyebrow, "What is it?"

"Well, long ago, in order to stop certain individuals from leaving their worlds to disrupt the new world order," Donald explained, "Powerful mages and key bearers used a spell so powerful, it prevented them from ever leaving their world or in this instance prevent them from getting to a certain area to leave the world."

"Oh dear," Minnie gasped, "Then that must mean, something or someone, must have cast the spell on you and Goofy to prevent the two of you from leaving."

"Can you break it?" Dasiy asked her boyfriend.

The mage sighed before frowning, "No... whoever cast the spell was very powerful. Only someone of equal power or even more powerful can break it. So... that would leave Master Yen Sid..." He then frowned further, "Or the King."

Minnie frowned, "Oh... this is bad. Master Yen Sid has been unavailable ever since the stars started vanishing and Mickey's..."

Goofy frowned, "So... how are we supposed to find the key and the King if we can't ever leave?"

Jiminy looked around the people before his eyes narrowed, "I'll go!" Everyone turned to the cricket in shock as Jiminy continued, "The spell might prevent you from leaving but it didn't have an effect on me. I'll go to Traverse Town myself and find the key. I might not be the strongest but together we'll find the king and save the worlds."

"But..." Chip spoke up, "Do you know how to fly the GummiShip?"

Jiminy smiled sheepishly, "Well, this is all new to me... and haven't quite thought that far ahead. Perhaps if you or Dale..."

"Uh... well... here's the thing..." Dale hesitated, "The thing is... it's rather embarrassing really..."

"We can't," Chip laid their cards on the table, "We failed the simulations. We know how to build the ship but when it comes to flying it... we stink..."

"Well," Dasiy thought out loud, "Is there anyone else who can?"

Everyone gave it a deep thought before Goofy's eyes lit up, "Hey! I know!"

"Oh no," Donald glared at Goofy, "If you even think about sending Launchpad, then you're out of your mind! He barely passed and always crashed afterward! We need the GummiShip intact if we're going to find the King!"

"I know Donald," Goofy nodded, "I just know a guy who passed with flying colors and has been traveling worlds even before the King has."

Donald raised an eyebrow before gasping, "Wait... you mean..."

Minnie beamed, "Goofy! That's brilliant! He just might be able to help us! I'll contact him immediately!"

"Okay, but what about the key," Donald asked, "Jiminy might be able to tell him what's happening and he might be able to fly the ship but it's still asking a lot of the key bearer to do all of this on his own. Who will help him."

Goofy hummed to himself, "You know? Maybe Leon might be able to help. He could find the perfect companions to help him when he cannot."

"You know," Minnie smiled, "It just might work."

Donald sighed as Dasiy turned to him, "What's the matter, Donald? We figured out all the problems."

"If Goofy's coming up with all the good ideas," The mage frowned, "It truly is the end of the worlds."

Despite the situation, everyone let out a good long laugh at that...

"Now, we turn our eyes to worlds where the Heartless have made their presence very sutle until the time was right. People began to vanish forcing events to play out differently as well. Come and I'll show you from the eyes of a certain hero you man know all to well..."

Meanwhile, back in New York City, a talk show on the radio began to start, "Welcome back to Just the Facts with J Jonah Jameson. Well, everyone, ever since Captain Yuri Watanabe was put on administrative leave, things have turned for the worse. Sure, Hammerhead was finally put behind bars and Harlem has finally put itself back together. But let me remind you all of the truth: People have been vanishing on the street. It doesn't matter who or what they are. Law-abiding civilians, politicians, criminals, police officers... little no one is safe. Do you want to know why this is happening? Because of the fact, we have not one BUT TWO SPIDER-MEN! AS IF ONE WASN'T BAD ENOUGH! NOW WE HAVE TWO?! Now, all younger listeners may want to leave the room because this next part might freak the tiny little minds because I know exactly what's going on. SPIDER-MAN IS FINALLY SHOWING HIS TRUE COLORS! HE'S KIDNAPPING PEOPLE SO HE CAN TURN THEM INTO HIM! HOW ELSE CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE OTHER SPIDER-MAN?! IT'S LIKE A VAMPIRE INFESTATION BUT WITH SPIDER-MAN. Now, we turn to you, let me know what you think? You're on with J. Jonah Jameson."

"Uh, yeah," A male listener spoke up on the radio, "Listen, don't you ever think your theories are a little out there. I mean, Spider-Man's a hero and an Avenger. He saved my little girl just the other day. Don't know what we do without him. I mean, he got us the cure for Devil's Breath, stopped all the super criminals, and the other Spider-Man save Harlem on his own. Also, you do realize it's not just people in New York right. I hear it's happening... everywhere. Sokovia, Wakanda, you name it."

"Is that right," Jameson nodded, "Well, SHUT UP AND LISTEN! IT'S ALL JUST AN ACT! HE IS DISCREETLY SPREADING HIS POWERS WORLDWIDE! HE'S GOING TO MAKE AN ARMY OF SPIDER-MEN! IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE HE INFECTS THE ENTIRE WORLD! HECK, YOUR LITTLE GIRL COULD BE INFECTED TOO!"

"One she's fine, my wife took her to the doctor just today," The listener answered, "And two, don't you think you're acting a little ridiculous?"

"Another lost cause," Jameson stated with disappointment, "Goodbye."

With that, Peter Parker stopped listen as he smiled to himself, "Someday Jonah. One of these days, you'll say something nice about me and won't take it back."

He entered the restaurant where he went to meet up with Mary Jane. The reporter smiled as she turned to him, "Hey, Pete. How's the investigation going?"

Peter forced a smile, "As well as it has the past couple of weeks."

MJ then looked concerned as Peter took his seat, "So? Still nothing?"

Peter nodded, "I figured it just be a simple kidnapping. I'd find the guys behind it, web them up, free the hostages, call it a day. But even other heroes have been vanishing too. Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jubilee, Iceman, Rogue, even The Punisher." He then turned to his ex-girlfriend, "What about you? Find anything?"

"Nothing," Mary Jane admitted, "I've looked into all the missing folks so far, no connections between the victims but... there's gotta be something bigger going on here. And I want the story. People have to know what's really happening."

"I know, I know," Peter nodded, "I let you know what I find..." He then turned to her with concern, "Just promise me you won't take any unnecessary risks, okay? After everything that we learned about Harry... I don't want to..."

"I promise," She reassured him as she pulled out her taser, "If anyone does try anything, I'll be ready for them."

"I just hope whatever happens," Peter sighed, "It's not as bad as Devil's Breath."

"Come on," MJ gave him a reassuring smile, "What could be possibly worse than the damage Devil's Breath did?"

"Please don't say it like that," Peter groaned, "Everyone time someone says that things do get worse."

MJ reassured him, "I'm sure it's fine."

Just then, they heard rumbling from a distance, they then saw a rainbow-like beam strike Avengers Tower. Mary Jane gasped, "Is that the Bifrost?"

Peter's eyes widened as he turned his ex-girlfriend, "I should..."

Mary Jane nodded, "Go."

Peter quickly ran out of the restaurant to change. MJ placed the money on the counter as the restaurant owner told the reporter, "Stay safe out there."

MJ smiled at the old man before leaving. The man sighed to himself, "Shame they never got back together. Well... I hope for the best for them."

Just then, he heard a beep from a technology that seemed a bit advanced for Earth. He looked to see who was calling before smiling, "Huh? Hadn't heard from her in a while."

He then answered the call, "Hey, your Majesty! How's it been."

"Oh, Stan. I hate to be a bother," Queen Minnie's holographic image appeared before the restaurant owner named Stan, "But the worlds are in a crisis and you're the only one who can help!"

Stan raised an eyebrow, "What happened?"

"Well, as you have may have noticed, the stars have been blinking out," Minnie explained, "King Mickey's gone to investigate the crisis and he's asked Donald and Goofy to find a key. One that we need for our survival."

"Hmmm..." Stan rubbed his chin as he admitted, "You know, I thought some things seemed off with stars going out. In fact, I think whatever's happening to the worlds is happening to this one. Why call me though? Donald and Goofy may not be the brightest of folk but their good people. And I know that they always get the job done."

"That's the thing," The Queen explained, "A spell is preventing them from leaving our world, and your the only one who can pilot the GummiShip other than Donald. Help us, Mr. Lee, your our only hope."

Stan smiled, "Well, I can never stand on the sidelines when the worlds are in a crisis." He stood up, "I'll do it. I will be with you within the hour."

Minnie smiled gratefully as the call ended, Stan Lee's eyes narrowed with determination, "No more standing on the sidelines. Time to do some hero work!" He leaped over the counter as he left the store exclaiming, "Excelsior!"

Spider-Man swung through the city of New York, heading as quickly as he could to Avengers Tower. The Web Swinger sighed as he muttered to himself, "Guess even us, superheroes, can't catch a break anymore. Oh well, at least the Avengers are back from the West Coast. Could have used their help with Li and Octavious but I'm not going to complain they're here now."

Just then, another Web Swinger joined up behind Spidey. The new Spider-Man of Harlem swung next to the original, "Hey, Peter."

"Miles," Spidey greeted, "Good to see you, guess you noticed the light show too."

"Yeah, just got my mom home safely when I saw it," Miles commented, "So, any ideas what the rainbow is. Are the Avengers under attack?"

"Nah, it's probably just Thor," Spidey answered, "He's using the Bifrost to get from Asgard to Earth."

"Oh my gosh! You're saying I get to meet Thor?!" Miles beamed as his fanboy side showed up, "And the rest of the Avengers!"

"Yeah, whatever's happening is a big deal," Spider-Man commented, "Going to need all heroes on deck! With any luck, Thor knows what we're dealing with, maybe we can finally get some answers!"

"Ah, man! That'd be great!" Miles nodded as they got closer to the tower, "So, wait... do you think that means we'll be dealing with Loki?"

Spider-Man sighed, "I hope not... I met Loki before, thwarted one of his plans to take over Asgard, and he turns me into a pig... it was not fun. Oh, that reminds me, when you try to eat something and your Spider-Sense goes off, don't eat it."

"Right, that's... good to know." Miles nodded as the two Spider-Men landed on Avengers two as the heroes currently there rushed to the rainbow portal awaiting their teammate and founding member.

Tony Stark, who had just put on his armor, noticed the two before calling out to them, "Hey, Underoos! About time you and Spidey of Wonder got here!"

"Ohmygosh!" Miles beamed, "It's Iron Man!"

"Hey, Tony." Spidey greeted the former weapons manufacturer, "Any luck with who's behind the kidnappings?"

"No, but hopefully Thor will have some answers," Iron Man frowned, "He's been gone for weeks to try to learn what's been happening to Earth. Hopefully, his old man shed some light on our situation." They then heard a groan from Earth's Sorcerer Supreme, "Yo, Strange! You holding up okay?"

Dr. Strange stumbled as he touched his forehead, "No... something... something isn't right. Whatever's happening, it's not just Earth... and I fear they're maybe nothing we can do to stop it."

"Well, that doesn't ominous," Spidey muttered to himself.

Miles looked a little worried as well, as Iron Man reassured him, "Relax kid, we've dealt with worse before even when your mentor was just a rookie. You'll be fine. Now, let's see what Thor's got for us."

Miles nodded as everyone approached the Bifrost before the lights died out, Thor, Prince of Asgard, the Norse god of thunder, was on his knees with tears shed. Captain America, the First Avenger, called out in concern, "Thor? THOR! What happened?!"

After a long pause, Thor looked up to his friends and teammates, "Asgard... has fallen. Most of the nine realms have been destroyed. Midgard is all that remains." Thor picked up Mjölnir, his hammer, as he told Earth's Mightiest Heroes, "I fear Ragnarok may be upon us all."

After a moment of silence, Spider-Man sighed, "Well... I guess R.E.M. was right. It really is the end of the world as we know it."

"Next we turn our eyes to the world set in the past, in this point of time, Coronation Day was upon Arendelle. It would be the day where Princess Elsa would have officially become Queen. However, due to the mysterious vanishing of people all over, Coronation Day was put on hold until the crisis was dealt with... unaware this world would soon meet its end..."

At the same time, with the town folk vanishing off the streets, or even important royal figures disappear without a true, the soon-to-be Queen would take action more than she thought she would have. When Elsa learned that her own people began to vanish, the council, that took care of the kingdom until she became of age, reassured her that it was being dealt with.

That had been weeks ago, things have gotten worse since then. Servants, knights, members of the council, even politicians from other kingdoms have all gone missing. Elsa declared that the Coronation was to be put on hold until they understood what was happening.

No one denied her as if those important figures and even those living in the very castle have disappeared despite the closed gates... was very concerning.

Even her sister, Princess Anna agreed. As much as Anna longed to see the world outside the gates and meet true love, she completely understood. Something Anna spoke her through the door about.

Even in these dark times, Elsa still didn't open up to her. She still feared what would happen if history repeated itself. Anna might not have been so lucky that time. However, there was something Elsa feared more.

People had vanishing left and right. Good and bad alike. No one was safe. What if Anna disappeared too? It was bad enough that her own parents were gone, she wouldn't know what to do if something happened to Anna.

Elsa turned to the portrait of her parents as she sighed, "What am I going to do? Nothing like this ever happened when you were in charge... or any of our ancestors."

She then turned to her own hands, "Then again, they were never cursed with powers either."

She closed her eyes, "Maybe I should head over to trolls maybe they have some answers."

All of a sudden, a bright light appeared behind Elsa, much to her confusion. Did something catch fire? That was was certainly the last thing she needed right now.

She turned briefly blinded by the light. When it began to find a figure started to appear in her sight. Elsa blinked in shock as an older man wearing strange clothes she had never seen before appeared before her. Even stranger thing about him was that he apparently had a metal. He fell to his knees. He looked up at her. Was one of his eyes glowing?

That was one of the many questions that appeared in the young woman's head. Along with, how did this man get inside the castle with ease? However, before she could think, he asked her, "Ma'am? Where am I?"

Elsa blinked in shock, "What...?"

"Where am I?" The man clarified, "What world am I on? What country?"

What did he mean what world? It was Earth? What other world was there other than the lifeless neighboring planets? Was the man injured he couldn't think straight. Part of her wanted to call the guards but she couldn't help but answer, "Um... Earth. Norway. You're in Arendelle."

"Damn it!" He cursed, "I'm on the wrong world! He turned to a device on his arm, "And no time to correct it!"

He then finally collapse to the wrong. Despite herself, she went to check on him. He didn't look so good, "Sir, I don't know how you got here, but you need medical attention. I'll get you to a doctor!"

"No," The man shook his head before she could call for one, "No... it's too late for me. Besides, no doctor can fix what happening to me."

The man began to flicker from reality much to her shock. She knelt to him, "What's... what's happening to you?"

He looked up to her and sighed, "Guess, I have no choice... I'm from the future. Someone has altered the timeline and now... in a few moments... I won't exist." Elsa stared in shock at this as the man chuckled, "Yeah, I figured that be your reaction. Listen, I don't have a lot of time but have been people be vanishing from your world too."

Elsa's eyes widened, "Do you know what's happen?"

"I take that as a yes," He replied, "Yes. I know what's happening. Name's Cable." He turned to his metal arm as he saw himself fade from existence, "I don't have enough time to explain the full details but I'll run down the basics. Something has been happening, someone altered the fabric of time and now everything will be destroyed by the forces of darkness. The world you live on isn't the only world in existence. There are countless worlds. You can see them shining in the evening sky."

Elsa stared at him questioning his sanity as he continued, "Though lately, those stars are vanishing and your world isn't that far off from vanishing too."

"Vanishing?!" Elsa gasped in shock.

Cable nodded, "Yeah, while this event was supposed to happen, it was never supposed to happen to our worlds. But there's hope you can still save the others."

"Me?" Elsa questioned she frowned, "If you knew what I am, you would know I'm the last person you should ask."

After a brief moment of silence, Cable assumed, "Because of your ice powers?"

The future queen turned to him even more shocked, "How did you...?"

Cable smirked as he tapped his head, "Telepathy. One of my own gifts."

Realization slowly dawned on her, "You're... you're like me?"

"And there are countless others out there too," Cable confirmed, "Each with their own powers." Elsa couldn't believe what she was hearing, there really were others like her? She thought she was the only one. He told her, "Listen, who or what you are doesn't matter now. You have to finish my mission for me. It's humanity's only chance at survival."

Elsa recalled that Cable didn't have much time, she asked, "What do you need?"

"You need to leave your world," He answered, "Out there, there's someone with a key. A key to our survival. He'll have the power and means to stop this and save our worlds. " He turned to her with desperation, "You need that key or we're all doomed. Find him for me. He did it in my time and he can do it in yours too! Please! Do you understand?!"

She paused to comprehend what she had been learning, a man from the future, who could read minds, was fading from existence told her there were others like her and there were millions of other worlds out there and they would be doomed unless she found another human-like her with a key to stop what was coming. She couldn't make this up if she tried. Heck, she doubted her sister could make this up and she got so bored she started talking to the pictures on the wall. Still, the man looked desperate, and if there were really people like her, maybe they could help her. Maybe this mysterious hero with a key. She nodded, "I promise but... I don't know where to start."

"You need to find a world called Traverse Town. Find a man named Leon. He can point you in the right direction," Cable told her before pulled out a strange device from his pocket, "And if you run into any Avengers, X-Men, or whatever superhero you can find. Give them this."

Elsa took the device as she observed it, "What is it?"

"Everything I managed to learn about the crisis before I made the jump here is on that drive," Cable answered, "They should be able to help you, and the key stop whoever's behind this."

Elsa never heard of the term superhero but if she had to guess, it meant someone else like her... er... them. She didn't know what a drive was but maybe Leon, the key, or some else can help figure that out for her. Elsa nodded before asking, "So this key... what's his name?"

Cable looked like he had seconds left as he tried to answer, "His... name is... Soooooooooooo..."

Unfountrantly, that's when he passed out before fading away before her very eyes. Her eyes widened in horror. Did she just see someone die or... was he never born. She groaned as this time-travel stuff gave her a headache. Was it even real? She then turned to a hard drive in her other hand. It was still there. Thankfully, it didn't vanish too. She pinched herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

The hard drive Cable gave her was still there. It had really happened. Just then, she heard a knock on the door as she heard her sister call out, "Elsa? You okay in there? I heard a commotion in there!"

She turned to the door as she answered, "I'm fine, Anna. I just... fell."

Yeah, if she told her she just met a man from the future who faded from existence told her that there were worlds out there and people with powers like her and they were all doomed unless they find someone with a key... she would think she was crazy too. However, she didn't except the silence from Anna's side of the door, "Anna?"

"Huh? Sorry? I actually didn't think you'd answer..." Anna admitted, "Unless you were telling me to go away but hey! I'm not complaining!"

That's true. Up to this point, she hadn't truly had a decent conversation with her own sister. Still, if what that man said was true, then Anna along with her entire Kingdom was in danger.

Should she start evacuating Kingdom? Could they escape what's coming? Could they even get to another world? Then again, another world could mean another country so that's what Cable could have meant. On the other hand, he said these were shining in the evening sky.

Still, if it was the former, it certainly couldn't harm to check and if it was the case, she could evacuate her people there if needed. If not, she may have to go to the trolls for help. She then called, "Hey, Anna?"

"Yeah," Her younger sister replied.

"I've been looking into the disappearances and I... found a rumor of something that could help figure help us out." She tried to explain.

"Really?" She heard Anna gasp, "That's great! What is it?"

Elsa briefly debated whether or not to show Anna the hard drive. Even if she should let Anna in to figure this out or not. Well, these were desperate times. And for the first time in forever, Elsa opened the door to see her sister. Anna blinked in shock, "Wow! Hi! You got bigger!" She then quickly added, "Well, not bigger like fatter as in you're not fat but you know, taller!"

Despite their situation, Elsa chuckled, "Thank you. You got taller too."

"Yeah," Anna smiled as she shrugged, "So... what's this lead then?" Elsa hesitated before showing her the hard drive as Anna took it, "Whoa! What is it?!"

"I'm not sure," Elsa admitted, "But everything we need to know is on there and there are people in a place called Traverse Town that knows how it works."

"Traverse Town?" Anna blinked before handing back the device, "Never heard of it. Is it near Arendelle?"

"Again. I'm not sure," Elsa repeated, "I was kinda hoping we have it somewhere mapped out in the library."

"Oh, okay!" Anna smiled brightly, "You need help looking! I'll help!"

Elsa thought for a moment before admitting, "Well, I guess I could use an extra pair of hands."

"Great!" Anna pumped a fist, "Let's get going!" Anna made a dash for the library before turning back, "Hey, Elsa?"

The future Queen of Arendelle turned to her sister, "Yes?"

Anna smiled, "It's good to see you again."

Elsa gave a small smile, "Likewise."

Anna then continued her way to the library as Elsa walked behind her. Worse came to worst, she'd head over to the Trolls to see if they knew how to get to this Traverse Town. She stared at the drive again and couldn't help but think back to what Cable had told her, "Are there really others like me?"

"In some worlds, she would succeed in finding a way to get her people to a sanctuary in Traverse Town before her world fell. In some worlds, she would gather whatever remained of Earth's Mightiest Heroes to repel the villains' attack. In others, Dr. Doom seized domain over Kingdom Hearts only for everything to be destroyed instead. But... here in this reality... a threat worse than Doom would rise from the shadows. One a certain young future Keyblade Wielder would meet while collecting items for the raft."

It had been an interesting day for Sora. The raft had finally been finished and all they need to do was get enough food and supplies they would need for the journey to another world. Riku challenged him to a race in what Sora originally believed to be the name of the raft and Captain of the said raft. Instead, Riku made him believe the winner would share a paopu fruit with Kairi just so he could see his reaction.

That jerk for a friend made him believe that it was real. He was really worried that Riku would get to share the fruit with Kairi, even if he did manage to beat him by a hair. Still, he had no idea why? Kairi was just a friend, right? One of his best friends in fact. But did he really like her that way?

He hated to admit it, but Riku gave him a lot think about this subject. He thought even more of it when he explored the secret place the three of them would always visit. The cave was full of old drawings they and other kids drew on. There was also a strange door with no door handle. It was probably one of the Destiny Islands' greatest secrets. None of their parents seemed to knew how to open it or when it leads to. Still, he wasn't there for either the drawings or the mystery door. He was there for the mushroom, they needed for their journey to explore the worlds.

As he grabbed the mushroom, he turned to one of their oldest drawings. It was the one time, Riku couldn't make it to the islands as he had a doctor's appointment so that day. So, Sora and Kairi had the whole play island to themselves. Kairi was generally still new to the islands as the newly adopted daughter of the mayor.

However, something between the two just seemed to hit it off. They were practically inseparable. That day, they drew each other's faces on the cave wall. Kairi was always the better artist but Sora did his best and Kairi helped out over the years. Sora gave a small smile at the fond memories, before turning to one of the stones they used to draw with. He picked it up and decided to add a small addition to the old drawings.

Riku hardly came in here anymore anyway, he was always more interested to see what was outside this world so he wouldn't have to worry about him discovering the new addition. When Sora's work was down, the drawing looked like he was giving Kairi a paopu fruit. His feelings for Kairi have gotten stronger over the years maybe it was time he told her. He hoped Kairi would feel the same way about him. Though, chances are Kairi might like Riku more than him and he wouldn't blame her. If Kairi liked Riku rather than him then he wouldn't stand in the way. All he wanted for Kairi was to be happy and that'd be enough for him. For better or worse.

Sora prepared to continue to gather supplies when he noticed a cloaked figure behind him, "Wha...Who's there?"

The cloaked figure answered, "I've come to see the door to this world."

Sora tilted his head in confusion, "Huh?"

"This world has been connected," The figure continued, "Tied to the darkness. Soon to be completely eclipsed."

"Well, whoever you are," Sora glared at him, "Stop freaking me out like this." He then blinked in confusion as there was only one way in or out of the cave and he never even see the man come through that way, "Huh? Where did you come from?"

The man ignored his question as he continued, "You do not yet know what lies beyond the door.

"So, you're from another world," Sora assumed as he had never seen this man before or in this case, recognize his voice as he could not see the figure's face under his hood.

"There is so very much to learn." The figure commented before turning to Sora, "You understand so little."

"Oh, yeah? Well, you'll see." Sora continued to glare as he vowed, "I'm gonna get out and learn what's out there!"

"A meanless effort," The figure finally replied to Sora, "One who knows nothing can understand nothing."

Sora then turned to the mystery door, did the man come through that way. No, it couldn't be. The door was still sealed shut and did not seem possible to open. He turned back to where the cloaked figure was, but he was gone. Sora couldn't help but wonder, "Who was that guy?"

Sora considered himself to be an excellent judge of character but something about that man... didn't sit right with him. They may want to be on the side of caution if they explored the outside world as they could run into that guy again. Toy swords weren't going to cut it if they had to fight. Sora left the gave to continue to gather supplies.

After gathering the rest of the items, a few races with Riku, and another few friendly spars with Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie, they decided to call it a day. This was it, after a good night's sleep they would be off the explore the worlds outside of their own. Riku and the others head home early while Sora and Kairi decided to say a bit longer. Kairi wanted to talk to Sora privately. Which was good as he's been meaning to talk to her as well. The two watched the sunset as Kairi commented, "You know, Riku's changed."

Sora turned to her in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"Well..." Kairi hesitated to answer.

Sora became concerned for her, "You okay?"

Kairi smirked, "Sora! Let's take the raft and go! Just the two of us!"

Sora's eyes widened as he started blushing hard. He didn't think she would be that forward, "WHAT?!"

Kairi giggled, "Just kidding!"

Sora calmed down little a little though the blush was still there. He chuckled, "What's got into you? You're the one who's changed, Kairi."

"Maybe..." The girl responded softly. "You know, I was a little afraid at first, but now I'm ready. No matter where I go or what I see, I know I could always come back here."

Finally, Kairi took her eyes off the sunset and turned to Sora. "Right?"

"Yeah, of course!" Sora said without hesitation. Wherever they would go, this would still be their home. Kairi turned back to the sunset.

"That's good." Kairi paused before adding, "Sora, don't ever change."

"Huh?" Sora tilted his head in confusion as Kairi began to stand up.

"I just can't wait. Once we set sail." Kairi smiled as she gazed into the sun, "It'll be great."

Sora smiled and nodded in agreement as Kairi turned to him, "We should probably head back. We have a long journey ahead of us."

"Yeah, I'll be a minute," Sora replied.

Kairi gave him a teasing grin, "Don't stay out too long. Don't want you oversleeping by the time we have to leave."

Kairi giggled as Sora paused to think, "Say, Kairi..."

Kairi stopped giggled as she turned to him, "Yeah?"

Sora wanted to tell of how he felt, but he didn't want to be that forward like Kairi did. Sure, she was only kidding but he didn't want her to freak out or anything if she didn't actually feel the same way about him. Truth be told, he didn't know how to tell her. He's never done this before so he simply shook his head, "Never mind. I'll see you first tomorrow."

Kairi shrugged as she smiled, "See you tomorrow, Sora."

With that, Kairi headed to her rowboat before rowing it back to the main island. Sora watched as her boat left. Sora couldn't help but wonder how was he going to Kairi how he felt. He guessed he could always ask his mom before they left. He ultimately decided to head back home as he knew as his journey began.

"And so, while Sora's path was very similar to those of his many counterparts. His future would be forever changed due to the actions of those who knew what his path would lead with Donald and Goofy. He would soon discover that his path he would have to face alone."

"Hmmm... Who said that? Hello?"

"As Sora stood alone on his island, he began to feel the presence of another. He became aware of the..."

"Excuse me!"

"Huh?" The Watcher blinked before turning back to Sora, who stare right at him, much to his shock.

"I know you're there," Sora told him, "I can't quite see you but I can hear you. Who are you talking to? Are you... are you the voice from my dream?"

The Watched blinked in shock. He had seen everything that was, everyone that has happened, and everything that could and would happen. So, how can this be? Unless he revealed himself or if he did ever interfere, he was completely invisible. Even to many super-beings and celestials. That's when he realized what happened when watching the many versions of reality, he also had an interest in its heroes. Sora was no exception.

He had seen countless versions of him too and despite starting out a regular boy, he became a Keyblade Wielder, unlike anyone he's ever watched. He was both a hero and a good friend to anyone he met as Sora's heart connects to those friends. He must have spent so much time watching him, knowing his countless stories of the multiverse, Sora's heart unknowingly connected to his as well. This made it possible to make him aware of his presence.

After a moment of debating with himself, he ultimately decided to reveal himself as Sora knew he was there anyways. He means no harm unless one messes with his friends. Sora gasped in awe as the Watcher nodded, "Greetings, Sora. I am Uatu the Watcher."
