To the one, you needed to? - Black Butterflies and DejaVu by The Maine

Aizawa stood on the pitch of the sigma training grounds looking very much like I remembered. Though it seemed to me that I'd only seen him weeks ago, and I was vastly relieved. It was probably the first surprise that didn't totally ruin my day. I'd had a lot of those lately, and I was glad not to have to put up with another one.

I smoothed the fingers of my free hand down my suit. Hatsume and her company had done an admirable job in such a short amount of time. My old costume designs had been stored along with all my registry information when I had walked onto this campus the first time, over six years ago now. Then anytime it was updated, though it hadn't been accessed in a long time.

She'd personally come to my apartment to take my measurements and stayed long enough to have dinner and completely redesign my hardware, as she had called it. She'd taken my old designs and called them outdated trash, and started from scratch. It made me smile seeing her bent over her tablet, her pen scritching over the surface as she started talking about computer assisted feeds and liquid metals. She'd left me behind, but Hatsume was very much in her element.

I now wore my new suit, with a redesigned, more technical visor, wristlets that now had more versatile heavy metals that I could use to control flight, and less bulky, even springier boots. Then there was the body of the suit. Mei had stared at it, and finding nothing that she wanted to do, had called her friend, who worked with the nanofibers and other fantastic materials our suits are made of.

She'd taken one look at me before giving me an even fuller pat down than Mei'd given Midoriya the first time we'd met her. Just like the first time I'd met her partner, Hatsume, she squeezed everything that could be: my breasts, my butt, anywhere I'd let myself go. Which she also scolded me for. Then she sat down to talk specs with Hatsume. By the time dinner was done, I had a drawing that made my eyes pop.

"My old suit didn't leave much to the imagination, and you've gotten rid of everything!"

I touched the drawing. It was an older girl, someone who I didn't yet recognize. Someone with wider hips, larger breasts, and a curvier backside. I didn't know this woman, though I was starting to know who she was.

I nodded when I handed the drawing back, "I am not the old Ochaco anymore," I could feel tears gathering, and I swiped at my eyes. "It's beautiful, thank you."

But when I showed up at the school, seeing Aizawa standing there just like he had when I was his student, I felt a sudden desire to be flashy. I flipped back my visor, sending my hair back with it, so that the long trailing tendrils of the electronics glittered in the sun. My heeled boots clicked on the sidewalk as I bent to unnecessarily adjust one ankle weight. They lay like oversize bracelets, and matched what was slung over my gloves. Then I saw Shoto and Bakugo coming forward to meet us, and I smiled. It was time for some female payback.

I straightened and started to jog toward them, sending the long material on my belt fluttering, flashing my thighs and backside in what I hoped was a tantalizing way. I knew I was just avoiding breaking the modesty laws for a hero. Bakugo's jaw dropped, and I laughed, glancing at Shoto. He was standing, pink-cheeked, with a grin that matched my own. Too bad Aizawa wasn't as impressed.

"So you're here." He cleared his throat, well, maybe he was a little impressed. "Let's go. Shoto?"

"Fuck me sideways!" Bakugo coughed, "she wasn't that pretty when I was a kid, right?"

"Shut up," Shoto muttered. He raised his voice as he neared me, "I'm your support, Ochaco. Bakugo and Aizawa-sensei will be our villains."

"Not hard to picture," I said with another laugh. We both waited for the other men to walk to the opposite end of the pitch. "You can still block Eraser Head?"

"Yes," he confirmed, immediately going to combat ready. "I can slow Dynamight, too, but I can't stop him."

"Which one do you want me to take?"

He narrowed his eyes, and looked me up and down, "I think you have Bakugo's number today."

I licked my lips, I could beat him. "Make me a couple chunks of ice." He eyed me again, "As soon as you toss up your ice wall to block Eraser. I can make them float and use them as bombs."

"Okay."

I flicked my visor down, "Hero: Dynamight. Hero: Eraser Head." I ran after Shoto as he flung his hand forward to make his ice slide. I didn't dare try to run on that, so I stayed low, and waited for him to perform his Heaven Piercing Ice Wall. The information I had asked for flickered on my heads up display. "Weaknesses." I already knew Eraser's, but I was curious what Bakugo had done in the last five years. It only showed one thing: cold. I watched Todoroki sail away from me, expertly using a mist of steam to make him fast on the ice.

I touched all my bracelets separately, getting them set so that I could turn them off at will. Or, at least that was the plan. I should be able to do that. I could do it with small things before, but I never had practiced on myself. This was my debut, I would make Aizawa say I still have potential. Lastly, I took a running jump, and relieved my own gravity. It was time for me to do recon.

I floated high, and gloried in the feeling of rising above the Earth. It was short lived as I heard the first report of Bakugo's explosions. I kept an eye on Todoroki. I was dependent on him right now. I twisted, spotting Dynamight running toward me, his explosions propelling him fast and hard. I lifted my gaze, trying to locate Eraser. If our, admittedly half-baked, plan worked at all, Todoroki could keep Eraser busy while I dispatched Bakugo.

I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Even if I had actually managed to distract Bakugo, I also knew he did not stay distracted. Where was that ice wall? I deactivated one of my bracelets, but could not keep the concentration necessary for it to work as I'd hoped. I dropped rather faster than I intended. That made me lose sight of Bakugo.

"Uravity!" Shoto's shout woke up my sluggish brain, and I reactivated one bracelet with a touch, while letting the other drag me down.

"Got ya, angel face!" Bakugo's explosions sounded larger and faster than at first, and I realized with horror that he'd not forgotten that he could fly. And he was! He barreled into me, crashing us both into one of Todoroki's small ice spires. The crack of the ice as Bakugo hit it with his back made me try and catch Shoto's eye. He was just above us, but he was still on target, even with just saving my hide.

Eraser Head's catch-scarf unreeled with speed, and both Bakugo and I lost our quirks. Then Todoroki threw up his wall, and I slapped Bakugo, sending him up and over, forcing Aizawa to either save Bakugo or go after Todoroki. He captured Bakugo, who immediately re-oriented himself in midair to come back at me. I really hadn't thought he could do that.

But I'd used Aizawa's shift in attention to roll off the side of the slide. I raced for three giant lumps of ice as I saw fire roar above my head. Hopefully Shoto could keep Bakugo off my tail for just a minute longer. As fast as I could, I hit all three, and watched them rise like ice cubes tossed in cold soda. I took a moment to smile, but I should have kept my happiness to myself.

A boom sounded, a wild shout followed, and two of the monoliths cracked apart as Bakugo blasted them. Could a single AP shot do that? I was dizzy. How could I fight against that? Desperately, I released the gravity on the one still floating and it only dropped a few meters before another AP shot burst from Bakugo and I realized that it could and did. It was bright and loud, and I watched in sick fascination as the third ice rock shattered like so much cheap glass.

Eraser Head dropped, his scarf wound 'round his ankles like a circus performer, "You're out, Uravity."

Todoroki's ice sounded nearby as Aizawa dropped to the ground and released my quirk. Bakugo crashed heavily as Shoto jogged over to us. I just shook my head ruefully. How long had that taken? In the old days I might have held out for five minutes or more, but there was now more than twenty years of combined combat experience standing in front of me.

"I didn't expect that this spar would go even half as well," Aizawa stated with his cool demeanor. "Can you tell me what went wrong?"

"I was totally unprepared." I snuck a look at Bakugo who was obviously preening like a proud peacock, "I should have spent longer on any kind of plan. I forgot who I was fighting against."

"Okay." Aizawa clasped my shoulder, "That's enough of that. I wanted to see if you were rusty. If I remember correctly, you're not. You're just at the same level as you were. There was virtually no way to beat three pros. Though I would admit your costume did a wonderful job of being a diversion."

I blushed heavily as did both Shoto and Bakugo. "Thank you, Sensei."

"That being said, I think I can help you." He reached into his pocket and pulled forth a folded sheet of paper. "You should do an internship. The only way that I can break you down and put you back together would take time I don't have."

I unfolded it, "An internship?" I suppose I should be glad the whole nation hadn't watched me fail like the last time I earned an internship. "At the Endeavor Agency?"

Shoto shot them both a wicked grin.
