Chapter 3: Freddy meets Jason

It was a dark windy night in the forest, a black wolf was sprinting through trees, dirt like paths and a family camp site. The wolf found a bush to hide in. He looked at the quite town in the distance and started growling, expressing his feelings of hatred towards the town.

It was a sunny morning and Freddy was at home in the lounge room, calling his father.

He asked his father, Flasheart, if he could get his brother, Hotspur, to change his mind and convince him that he did not betrayed the pack so that he would allow him to come back to the academy

Flasheart: "Freddy, I tried to tell him but he wouldn't take my words"

Freddy: "Dad there must be a way, why he is doing this? Could Uncle Hotspur be trying to keep me out of the academy, to stop me from becoming a successful dog? or maybe we haven't given him enough proof that I wouldn't do such a thing?"

Flasheart: "If I still had the role as a leader, I would let you stay in the academy. Right now there is nothing I can do to help you"

Freddy: "So I'm stuck?"

Flasheart: "Sadly to say son, yes"

Freddy sighed, he went quite for few seconds and then came up with an idea

Freddy: "Hey dad?"

Flasheart: "Yeah?"

Freddy: "I was thinking, I want to visit the academy to see my friends. You know how Rick is now the principal of the academy.

Flasheart: "Yes he is"

Freddy: "Can I get his phone number so I can talk to him?"

Flasheart: "Sure son, let me find his number and I will sent it to you"

Freddy: "Ok"

Freddy saw the message pop up on his phone: "Thanks dad. I will give him a call and see if I can visit, get well dad"

Flasheart: "Thank you Freddy. Make sure you stay of trouble"

Freddy: "I will, bye Dad"

Flasheart: "Bye"

With that, Freddy ended the call and dialled Ric's number. After a few rings, Ric picked up

Ric: "Ric speaking?"

Freddy: "Hey Ric it's Freddy, I wanted to ask you if I would be allowed to visit the academy and see my friends for the day, is that ok with you?"

Ric: "Hold on, let me think about it"

Ric tried to recall if there were any plans at the academy and found there were none, Ric answered: "Yes it is Freddy, I recommend you should come by in the afternoon"

Freddy: "Brilliant, thank you so much Ric"

Ric: "Your welcome, I will let your friends know that you are coming"

Freddy overly excited said: "Great!"

Ric laughed so hard that he needed to calm down before he could reply: "Well, I see you later"

Freddy: "You too"

Some time later, Freddy decided to get something small to eat from the kitchen for his movie. Getting up from his seat and checking out the kitchen draws, he found a packet of salted chips. Freddy heads back to the lounge room with the packet.

A documentary was showing, Freddy switched channels until he found one that was showing a movie. After finding one, Freddy took a seat on the lounge and started eating his chips

Two hours later

Freddy reached the end of his movie, he checked the time on his phone and saw that he only has ten minutes left before he was allowed to visit the academy to see his friends. He turned off the TV and walked up the stairs to his room, got his shoes and headed out to the academy.

Freddy was walking through the middle of the forest towards the academy, when he felt his phone vibrating. It was a notification of Scarlet messaging: "What time and where should we meet Jason?"

Freddy thought about it and replied: "How about we meet him at about 5:00 PM in the park. I will be free by then"

Freddy sent the message and arrived at the academy gates. The large iron gates had ram statues at either side and an arch displaying the school crest, a blue shield with knitting needles crossed behind. Freddy walked up to the gates and waited for someone to let him in.

While waiting, Freddy was thinking: "Can't there be like a machine to talk into so someone knows that the guests are waiting to be let in, that would be useful to have"

The gates opened up to allow Freddy into the academy grounds. He walked up to the doors of the building and entered, only to be greeted by a full body scan machine and two blue shirted security guards, Maurice and Baxter.

"Welcome Freddy"

Freddy replied: "Thanks"

Freddy went though another door that lead him to a garden room with small trees and a howling wolf statue. Freddy took the stairs to the second floor, where the Principal's office was located.

He knocked on the door and waited for Ric to answer.

"Come in"

Freddy opens the door and make eye contact with Ric.

Ric smiled: "Ahh, Freddy. Glad you could visit"

Freddy smiles backs and kindly replied: "Thanks Ric, I'm glad I get to see you"

Ric: "So Freddy, shall we go and see your friends?"

Freddy: "Sure"

Ric got up from his seat to walked toward the door, opening it to let Freddy through and then closing it behind them.

They arrived at the rec room, Ric opened the door to reveal a small room with a coffee table, vending machine, lounge and four bean bag seats that were close to the table. Freddy saw his friends were there. He smiled and felt appreciation for Ric allowing him to visit the academy. His friends Batty, Kitty, Omar, Ivan, Aggie, Winslow and Wendy, looked at who was approaching the door and saw that their one and only good friend was there

"Freddy!" They yell in pure happiness

Freddy: "Guys!"

Batty: "Freddy"

Batty got up from the bean bag, ran up to Freddy and gave him the biggest hug. Freddy hugged back. They did this for a few seconds and made eye contact at each other, Batty said: "I'm so happy that you came"

Freddy: "I couldn't forget my good old classmates, could I?"

Batty moves out of the way to let Freddy see his friends, he hugged Aggie, then handshake Omar, Ivan, Winslow, Kitty and Wendy.

After greeting all of his Friends, Freddy took a seat on the lounge.

Aggie: "So how you been Freddy?"

Freddy: "I been alright, I'm still not in the best mood from been expelled and wronged"

Batty: "Hey, at least your allowed to come and see us"

Aggie: "Yeah we felt so sad seeing you leaving the academy. You were the only student we looked up to as a leader. The only student who was able to do impossible things"

Freddy: "Thanks Aggie, I'm glad that you guys are happy to see me"

Kitty: "Freddy, we should tell you about the stuff that we have been doing. You're lucky you weren't here on the day that was exhausting"

Freddy: "and what would that be Kitty?"

Kitty: "We had a class with Ms Afeaki that all of us had to exercise outside in the hot heat!, and we were not allowed to stop until she said so. I asked if we could do it inside and she was like "nope" so we had to stay outside"

Ivan: "I'm thinking you're missing someone who was also good at doing that"

Kitty: "Shut up Ivan you were not, you were dehydrated in that heat"

Ivan said teasingly: "Puff, whatever you say pussycat"

Kitty was offended from his smartass comment and yelled: "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?"

Aggie: "Hey, hey relax Kitty he's baiting you, don't give it to him"

When Kitty relaxed, the group continued

Freddy: "I would be darned"

Kitty: "yeah"

Freddy: "So what's else has been happing with you guys, did I miss anything?"

Batty: "Nothing much really, I haven't asked you what you've been doing while you were off?"

Freddy: "Well I've been at home watching movies and I have been speaking to Scarlet. It turns out her and I have been getting along"

Batty said curiously: "Really?, please don't tell me you told her about the academy?"

Freddy: "Err yes I did"

Everyone yelled in shocked: "FREDDY!"

Freddy jumped from their loud voices

Batty: "You were not supposed to tell her about it, I know she helped us but still"

Freddy: "Batty It's not like I told her where it is or anything, that would lead the Hunters to the academy yes?"

Batty said: "but still you don't know if Scarlet will change her mind, or is pretending to be on your side. What else did you tell her?"

Freddy: "I told her how I got kicked out, I told her about my uncle and then you guys"

Batty just looked at Freddy as if she was about to slap him out of frustration

Freddy: "I told her to keep it a secret"

This didn't made changed her mind, so Freddy move on to a different topic of how he was going to come back to the academy

Freddy: "Anyways, I contact my father and I asked him to convince my Uncle to let me back to the academy so that I can continue studying"

Ivan: "So much for convincing your Uncle!. If you hadn't hangout with Scarlet in the first place, you wouldn't have been expelled"

Aggie: "Actually no, If she didn't want to help the three escape, Scarlet would have just allow her parents to capture them"

Batty: "So why didn't she captured Freddy in the first place but instead decide to help him?"

Freddy: "Guys it's because she realises the truth, Scarlet thought it wasn't true until she saw me transform, and that caused her to change her views about me and so that's why she helped me. If Scarlet didn't know the truth about our pack, Scarlet wouldn't have made that phone call, she was also been made to believe that we are cursed too"

Winslow: "Cursed?"

Freddy: "Yes you have heard me "Cursed" "

Winslow: "talking about changing her mind"

Everyone started about different topics as Freddy was pleased of hanging out with his friends

One hour and forty minutes later

Freddy and his friends were talking about of how the Doom Wolves should do another live concert. And also about how the academy was planning on adding more security so tthat he students couldn't get out, which was a good for protection but bad news for them. Freddy then realised that he was staying too long with his friends and he was meant to meet Scarlet

Freddy: "Oh I gotta get moving guys, I have to meet up with Scarlet. thank you guys for a great talk"

Kitty: "thanks for stopping by Freddy"

Freddy: "your welcome Kitty, Bye guys"

As he waved his hand and walked up to the door and then said

Freddy: "Bye"

Everyone: "Bye Freddy"

Freddy shut the door behind him and walked up to Ric's office to say his good bye's and leaves the academy. He walked to Scarlet place, arriving there Freddy knocked on the door and Scarlet answered, they then made their way to the park to meet Jason.

When the two arrived. Jason said: "At last. Freddy and Scarlet. I'm glad that we can meet, Afternoon"

Scarlet: "Hey"

Freddy: "Hey, so you wanted to see me?"

Jason: "Yes, I been wanting to talk to you"

Freddy and Jason shook hands and Jason started talking

Jason: "Before I get to any questions, I wanna explain something"

Freddy: "Alright?"

Jason started: "I came here from a another dimension to help you and your pack to put an end to the Wilderwolves and stop them from making their next move. I also came to help you Freddy get back to your academy."

Jason takes out from his pocket a device which looks like a round handheld detonator that had a button on the top

Jason: "Questions?"

Jason presses the button, Freddy asked a question: "How did you know about us? How you can help us? And why tell me?"

Jason place his hands in his pockets: "I have been watching and wanted to help. Going to your pack and telling them would alarm them so that's why I came to you first"

Freddy: "Ok? So how are you gotta do that?"

Jason: "I get the Information from the them and once we know of what they are up to, we will share it"

Scarlet: "So how do we get this infor then?"

Jason: "I will use a small microchip device that has a microphone built in, by placing it in a hidden spot inside the cave recording them, after that I will bring my laptop and use it to trim the file and pass it on to Flasheart"

Freddy and Scarlet: "Right"

Freddy then said with realisation: "I forgot to needed talk to my father!. Unbelievable"

A blue portal then appeared behind Jason as it showed a small white lab, with Jason noticing the sound of the portal, he turned around his head to looked at the portal and then made eye contact at Freddy and Scarlet as he said

As he presses the button on the device, the portal the disappear both Freddy and Scarlet had shocked like expressions from seeing this portal

Freddy started: "Sooo how do you want to start?"

Jason replies: "We will go to the cave of the Wilderwolves and put the chip in there, when day light comes I will pick it and see if there anything on it, come along"

He started to move with both Freddy and Scarlet following behind, Jason lead the two of them to the Wilderwolves hide out
