Tara's heart is racing. Her palms are sweaty but she knows this is what is best for her boys and unborn child. She doesn't think or organize, she just grabs all the toys and clothes she can and stuffs it all in 2 large duffle bags and 2 medium sized boxes. Lowen is sitting in Taras car with the kids while Tara finishes grabbing everything she can in the small window of opportunity they have while Jax is on a run trying to plan a retaliation against the Irish for almost killing everyone in the SAMCRO club house the other night.

Lowen impatiently looks at her watch. "Common Tara"

"Wheres mommy?" Abel asked.

"Shes coming" Lowen responded.

A few moments later Lowen sees the bags being thrown at the door then Tara comes out carrying one box and dragging the other. Lowen rushes to help Tara. After throwing everything in the back. Tara hugs Lowen.

"Thank you" Tara says

"Did you leave the letter?" Lowen asked.

"Yes." Tara responded.

Lowen nodded. "Good luck. Ill wait for Jax's call"

Tara got in the car buckled and put on her sunglasses to hide her tears from her boys. She starts the car and takes a deep shaky breath and closes her eyes. She whispers to herself. "I can do this, I love you Jaxon but I HAVE to do this"

"Where we going mommy?" Abel asks

Tara pulls out of the driveway and starts to drive out of Charming.

"On a little vacation baby" She answered.

"ok mommy."

Off they went to a new life. Tara wasn't entirely sure what the future held. All she knew was her kids would be out of Charming and safe.

*RING RING* Jax cell phone rings. He sees its Gemma. He ends the call but then sees a text from Gemma that reads 911. He pulls his bike over. The rest of SAMCRO following suit. He calls her back.

"Hey ma whats wrong?"

"TARA AND THE BOYS ARE GONE!" Gemma screamed

"What the hell are you talking about?" He asked

"SHE TOOK THEM, THEY ARE GONE!"

Jax hangs up and yells to the guys. "I gotta get home"

He starts up the bike and takes off. He gets to his house in about 15 minutes. Gemma is outside waiting. She runs to him.

"Im going to kill this bitch."

Jax runs inside and Gemma follows. He runs to the boys room. All the drawers left open, empty. He runs to his and Taras room. Taras side of the closet empty. Jax looses it. He begins to punch the closet door over and over leaving a giant hole with every hit.

"Im calling Unser" Gemma says. She goes outside and Jax sits on his bed with his head in his hands. He lifts his head towards the dresser and tapped to the mirror he sees a note folded in half that has Jax written on it. He reaches up and grabs it and begins to read.

"Jax,

I know you are feeling betrayed, shocked, angry. You probably even hate me right now. But you have to understand every decision I have made is for our boys and our unborn child. Please believe me when I tell you I love you with every fiber of my being. This is NOT me leaving you. This is me giving our kids a chance at a normal life. A life free of crime, drugs, guns, killing. I would love nothing more than to grow old with you and spend the rest of our lives together. Unfortunately I don't think that's in the cards for us. My heart is breaking and the pain is almost unbearable. But this HAS to happen Jax before one or more of our kids pay the price of the choices we have made. Please Jax if you truly love us...let us go.

I will always love you.

Tara.

Jax's breathing began to slow. Tears began to fall from his eyes. He knew she was right. As much as he didnt want her to be, she was right. He heard the front door open and quickly shoved the letter into his cut. He wiped his face as Gemma came rushing in the room.

"Come on lets go meet Unser" she went to turn to walk out.

"No" Jax says.

Gemma turned to Jax in disbelief. "What do you mean NO? Come on!"

Jax stood up. "I said No!, let it go mom"

Gemma looks at Jax wide eyed."Jax, what are you doing? That bitch took your kids!"

"Exactly MY KIDS! NOT YOURS!, Look mom, just go home"

When Gemma didnt budget Jax lost his cool.

"NOW GET OUT!" He yelled.

Gemma flinched and couldn't believe what was happening. She grabbed her purse and left. Jax knew she wouldn't let it be so he had to find a way to make sure she didn't find Tara. He would have to go talk to Lowen. He figured if anyone knew of Tara's plan it would be her. He took out his phone and called Lowens cell.

Lowen answered after the first ring. "Hello Jax, come meet me at my office in 10 minutes."

"Ill be there." Jax answered.

Jax got to the office and Lowen was waiting outside. Lowens heart sank when she seen Jaxs swollen red eyes. Signs of his broken heart. But just like Jax, she knew this had to be done. They went inside and Jax sat down at her desk. Lowen sat across.

"Im sorry.." Lowen began

Jax held up his hand. "Its ok, shes right. This had to be done. I tried to make it work but..."

"The outlaw life and family life don't fit well together." Lowen said.

Jax nodded. "Exactly"

"You know where she went?" He asked

"Not exactly, however I do have a P.O box address only I can know. She wanted to give you the opportunity to write the boys or send them things. You will give any letters or items to me and I will send them."

Jax nodded. "Look, my mom, shes not going to give up looking for her. If anyone else knows about where Tara might be"

"There is no-one. Lowen explained. "I really dont even know for sure if the P.O box location is in the same town she will reside in."

Jax leaned forward and put his head down.

"She wanted me to give you this" Jax looked up and took a key out of Lowens hand."

"Is this for a safety deposit box?" Jax asked.

Lowen nodded.

Jax put the key in his cut. He stood and walked to the door. Before exiting he turned to face Lowen. "Thank you Lowen for helping her. You did the right thing."

Lowen gave him a small sympathetic smile."

Jax decided he would go home for the night. Tomorrow he would figure out what Tara left him. Tonight he would drown himself in Tequila and weed. He needed to be numb to get through this pain. He lost his family and there was nothing he could do. He vowed to always protect them and he failed. He was a failure as a husband and a father. He had no idea what to do now. Worse he had no idea if he would ever see his family again. He was officially a lost soul and in that moment he didn't know if he wanted to live or die.
