Jax and Tara pull up to the school and Jax begin to sweat. Tara sees this and sees he is fidgeting and nervous. She chuckles and reaches over and touches his arm.
"Jax, are you ok?" She asks
"Ya. Im just excited." He answered.
"Oh ok, ill be right out."
"Wait" he tells her. "Do you think Thomas remembers me? I mean its been a while."
" yes, with out a doubt. He will know who you are Jax."
He nodded and Tara went in to get the boys.
He decided to stand outside the car and wait. He wasn't wearing his cut but he still stuck out getting polite smiles and stares but parents weary none the less. But his thoughts were cut short when he heard.
"DADDY!".
He turned to see Abel running at full speed.
Jax picked him up and held his so tight.

Jax realized in that moment and this is all that truly matters. Not the club, not the businesses. He could not leave his sons again. If Tara didn't go back to Charming. He was staying in Colorado.
They went home and enjoyed and nice quiet evening as a family. Lexi insisted on cooking a big fried chicken dinner for everyone. The kids were so happy, and Abel was telling Jax all about his school.
"Are you being good for your teacher's son?" Jax asked

"Every day the teacher chooser a Helper to assist her in the classroom, pass out papers and stuff, today was Abeles turn" Tara explains

Jax felt like he was heaven. He missed his family so much and then he thought about how this was actually the first time he had been able to just sit as a family like this. Before he was always too busy. There was the occasional family dinner at his moms but even then, the whole club would be there. Tara seen him away in his thoughts.
"Hey babe, why don't you grab muscles over there and Ill take Thomas and we can give them baths" She said
"Muscles huh?" Jax joked looking at Abel "Show me your muscles"
"I got big muscles see!" He held up his arms to show his dad.
"Wow your strong buddy" Jax told him
"Ok, you can use the bathroom in the hallway and Ill take Thomas in my room" Tara explained. She got out extra towels and wash cloth and handed them to Jax.
Tara got Thomas in and out, dressed and in bed within 20 minutes. She went to go check on Jax and Abel. The bathroom door was a little open and she peeked inside unnoticed. Jax was soaked. He was trying to wash Abels hair while Abel had his monster truck toy making rumble noises and splashing in into the water. It was so hard not to laugh out loud.
"Ok buddy dad is officially drenched how about we rinse your hair ok?" Jax said.
"Look my truck daddy ahhhh" **SPLASH**
Jax sat back on his knees took a breath and smiled
"Need some help?" Tara asked laughing
"Uh maybe" he answered.
"Abel, come on baby its time to get the soap out ok, lets show daddy you can be a big boy." She told Abel

Jax grabbed the cup and rinsed.
Once he got him out of the tub Tara took him to get dressed while Jax cleaned up the water. He went to the boys room and Tara was finishing a book. Thomas was already fast asleep in his crib.

When they came out of the room Lexi was passing them to her bedroom. "Kitchen is clean. Goodnight guys."

"Yes, thank you dinner was great." Jax said.

As Jax and Tara got ready for bed Jax realized he had a new found appreciation for all mothers.
"You do this everyday?" He asked

The rest of week seemed to fly by. Between sight seeing with Tara and spending time with the boys before he knew it, it was Friday. They decided to order pizza and rent a couple of movies. "Hey guys, ready to play the movie?" Tara asked
"Yes, which one did you get?" Lexi asked giving Tara a bowl of pop corn
"The new King Arthur movie. I LOVE the lead guy that plays Arthur" Tara responds
"Oh yes" Lexi agrees
"Oh you LOVE him huh? I bet he's a pussy in real life" Jax asks teasingly

Tara was asleep before the movie ended. When it finished Lexi and Jax stood up.

Before hanging up Jax hears Lyla on the other end. "Is that Jax? Give Tara our love Jax!"

The next morning Jax decided to let Tara sleep in. He got up early to make sure he could keep the boys quiet.
He made breakfast, got them dressed and had them playing in the living room.

"I figured they would be back by now" Tara said

Tara went to grab her phone when she heard the car door. "Oh there they are"
They came in and Abel ran right to her with some wild flowers. Pedals falling everywhere.

Tara and Lexi got in Taras room"

Jax did just that. He helped Tara out of the car and he escorted her to the doors
Tara was presently surprised. Having Jax back is way better then she could have imagined.
They got seated and Jax had called ahead of time and arranged to be seated next to the big window in the back over looking the lake which reflected the night sky and the snow covered mountain across the lake.
"Jax, this is beautiful." Tara says
Even Jax was in awe, he was learning how to appreciate the these things.
"It really is, nothing compared to you though." He tells her.
She blushes. Reaches over and grabs his hand.
"You know I have to say, you clean up pretty good Mr. Teller." Tara told him

"Come with us" Tara said

Lexi smiled. "Ok, I'll go"

"What are you so happy about?" Jax appeared coming out of the hallway carrying Thomas and Abel running past him.
Tara and Lexi looked at each other and smiled. "Well, I have some news"
"What?" Jax asked.
Tara stood prepared to be picked up and swung around "I want to go back with you to Charming"
Jax eyes got big and his smile was so wide. Just as Tara thought he ran to and wrapped his arms around her. "Oh my god babe really!?"
Tara nodded.
"Also, Lexi has decided to join us" Tara told him
"Hell, ya the more the merrier. Just have to keep her away from Tig" Jax joked
Lexi looked at Tara confused
"I'll explain later" She said
Jax kissed her again. "I am so happy babe; everyone is going to be so excited to see you and the boys"
"I'm excited too" Tara told him. "Next stop Charming California"
