Its been a week since Tara decided to pack up the boys and move back to Charming. Jax went back a few days ago to start getting things ready for their arrival and make sure that Lexi had a room too. Tara had called St. Thomas to set up her new OBGYN and her first appointment was set. She would of course head to Margaret's office and announce her return in hopes there is an open position so she can go back to her old job.
"Do you even have to work?" Lexi asked as she was helping pack the kitchen. "Didn't Jax inherit like 10 million dollars?"
"I think it was only 4 million but it doesn't matter. I love what I do, it's not about the money" Tara said.
"Ya your right, and you are amazing at what you do" Lexi told her
"Well thank you, Ok the moving truck should be here at 5:30, Jax called and set it all up."
Then there was a knock at the door. "Must be the movers" Tara said
Tara answered it and there stood Happy and Chibs.
"OH MY GOD" Tara said as she hugged her old friends
"Hello Las, oh my look at the belly, what a beauty" Chibs exclaimed.
"Ya Tara congrats, We are all happy your are coming home" Happy added
"Thanks guys, ill be happy to be back" she said. She then introduced Lexi.
"This is Lexi guys, shes moving back with us." Tara told them
Lexi smiled and waved. "Hey guys, nice to meet to finally meet you."
Happy was instantly mesmerized. He just stared in awe. She was beautiful. He had never seen a more beautiful women he thought.
Lexis eyes went to Tara confused by Happy's presence.
"Um..Happy?" Tara said interrupting his thoughts
He quickly looked to Tara. "Ya. Ok so where do we start?"
Tara smiled. "You can start taking the boys room to the truck. Speaking of. Are you guys planning to ride your bikes back?"
"Oh no love, the king gave strict orders to escort our queen and the other beautiful las home. One of us will be driving the truck the other, the car with the kids." Chibs explained
"What about your bikes?" Lexi asked.
"We ordered a trailer to hitch to the back of the truck." Chibs told her.
"Thank you so much, I was NOT looking forward to driving all that way." Tara said
The movers got there and it only took an hour and a half to get everything packed and ready to go.
It probably would have taken less time if they didn't have to keep telling Tara to sit down. Every time they turned around Tara would be trying to help pack a box or organize the boxes.
"Jax will have our heads if he knew you were trying to move these boxes, for our safety love please sit down" Chibs told her with a smile.
"Ok, Ok" she said.
They were finally ready to hit the road.
"Ok so I will obviously be riding in my car with my kids" Tara stated, she then got an idea. "How about Chibs rides with me and Happy, why don't you and Lexi take the truck?" She said
"Um, are you sure Tara?" Lexi asked.
Tara smiled slyly "Absolutely"
They got in the car and Chibs looked at Tara smiling.
"What?" She asked
"Oh Lass, I know what you are doin" He told her
Tara shrugged. "I don't know what you are talking about"
"Yep, ok" he said, "You boys ready to see your dad?" He yelled to the back
"YA!" Abel yelled
"AAHHH" Thomas yelled excitedly.
"Ok we are off" Tara said.
It was pretty late in the day, but they all decided they were too anxious to get home and wanted to start heading out now. They figured Tara and the boys would sleep and in the morning they would stop half way and let Chibs and Happy rest a few hours while the girls and the kids could explore and stretch their legs, then head out again.
2 hours into the trip Lexi and Happy still hadn't spoken a word.
Lexi was definitely intrigued by Happy. She decided that the silence was too much.
"Um how long have you been in SAMCRO?" she asked
Happy looked at her for a moment before answering. Deciding whether or not he wanted to answer. There was something about her. He couldn't put his finger on it.
"A few years" He said.
She nodded. "Oh, iv always wanted to ride a bike"
"You have never rode?" He asked
She shook her head.
He smiled at her. "We will have to change that"
She blushed "I think I would like that"
"I have to say I'm surprised" He told her
"Why is that?" She asked confused
"Most girls would be too scared to ride especially if they never had" He said
"Well last time I checked I was a grown woman, and I have never been like most girls anyway" She told him
He chuckled at her sassiness.
"Besides, I have this feeling you wouldn't let me get hurt" She said
Happy just looked at her and nodded. It made him so hard knowing she trusted him to protect her.
Lexi then began telling Happy about her life. She told him about where she grew up. About her time in nursing school and about her parents accident.
He was surprised himself that he listened to every word she said. Her voice was mesmerizing to him. He could listen to it all night. She even got him to tell her a few things about himself. He told her things not even his brothers at the club knew.
He told her about his relationship with his grandmother growing up. About him growing up in Washington and his school days. How he came to live with his aunt. Granted it wasn't super detailed stories but it was more than he ever told any other women.
After a while they pulled over to stretch and use the bathroom. Happy was going to fill up the tank.
"Want any thing Hap?" Lexi asked
"No its ok" he answered
"Are sure? You got to be hungry." Lexi pushed
"Maybe a little here's some cash." He said
"Put it away, I got it" she smiled and winked at him and turned to walk into the gas station.
Happy couldn't help but to watch her perfectly shaped ass as she walked away.
"Havin fun?" Chibs asked startling Happy
"What? Lets see driving 200 fucking miles the day after already driving 200 fucking miles. Ya havin a blast." He answered sarcastically
"Well, just figured from the drool hangin out of ye mouth" chibs jokes
Happy looked at him with his serious face. "The fuck you talkin about?" Happy asked.
Before Chibs could say anything else Happy turned and got back in the truck.
A few moments later Lexi got back in and they were back on the road.
"They didn't have too many options so I got you 2 corn dogs and a mountain dew?" She asked
"That works, thanks. You didn't have to pay for my food." He told her.
"Please it was a few bucks really no big deal. We can just make a deal that when we get to Charming you owe me dinner." Lexi told him making him grin.
"Wow, wait a minute is that? No it cant be?" Lexi said
Happy looked at her confused. "What?"
"I saw a smile" she told him
He looked back at the road.
Lexi leaned it closer and whispered "don't worry, ill keep your secret."
Happy tried not to react but couldn't help it. He slightly looked at her and again grinned.
She just smiled back and then started eat.
About an hour later Lexi fell asleep. She started to curl up more and more indicating she was getting colder
Happy seeing this grabbed his Samcro zip up hoodie and using one arm was able to drape it over her.
He lightly pushed her hair behind her ear.
What was this women doing to him? He barley knew her. He thought.
Next this Lexi knew she was bring woken up.
"Lex hey wake up"
Lexi shot her head up looking around finally finding Tara standing there holding Thomas and had Abels hand.
"Oh, good morning handsome boys." Lexi said.
"Aunt Wexi!" Yelled Abel climbing into her lap.
"Where are we?" Lexi asked looking around.
"Some town right outside the Nevada border. Its about 9am. We just woke up too. We are at a motel. The guys went and got a room for a few hours. I figured we could get some pancakes" Tara told her loud enough to excite the boys.
"PANCAKES! PANCAKES!" Abel yelled
"Pake!" Thomas said joining in
"Sounds good im starving" Lexi said.
They took the car and used Tara's phone for GPS and found a small Diner. They were enjoying breakfast when Jax called asking where they were at.
Tara caught him up on where they were and they determined that after giving the guys 5 hours of sleep. They would be in charming by midnight.
"Ugh its going to be a long day. Tara said rubbing her stomach
"You feeling ok?" Lexi asked
"Oh ya, shes just kicking up a storm. She mist feel that im anxious well excited really, hey did you notice that park? I figured we could go there and let the boys run around and burn some energy." Tara suggested
"That is a great idea." Lexi said
"We go park mommy?" Abel asked
"Yes baby" Tara answered
They finished eating and as planned they went to the park. It was easy to spend their time there. There was a huge fountain, food and drink carts and plenty of things for the boys to play on and run around. Not to mention plenty of benches for Tara to sit on.
She was so thankful for Lexi. She would really be lost without her. She could sit and relax while Lexi ran around with the boys. She grew a bond with them and knew she would be in their lives forever.
Taking a snack break by the fountain. The boys sitting in the grass calmly gave Tara time to ask Lexi some burning questions.
"So? You seemed pretty cozy wrapped up on Happys SAMCRO hoodie" Tara said smiling
"Ya about that. I don't even remember putting it on. He must have noticed i was cold when I was sleeping." Lexi explained
"That's very sweet and very uncharacteristic for Happy." Tara said
"Is he normally mean to women?" Lexi asked
"Oh hell no. SAMCRO protects women. They are almost as protective with women as they are with kids." Tara explained. " its just Happy isnt what you would call...sensitive or lovey. I mean iv seen him smile and laugh with the guys and play with the kids but I have NEVER seen him with a women longer then a night."
"One night?" Lexi asked
"Yes and never with the same girl twice." Tara told her.
Lexi looked down. "I don't know he seemed closed off but there something about him." Lexi tried to explain
"Well one thing I can say is when it comes to the SAMCRO men, they take their monogramed stuff and their bikes seriously and personal. The fact that you are wearing his SAMCRO hoodie. That means something. Even if its a small gesture."
Lexi blushed.
Tara just smiled. She definalty thinks something might be happening. She wont hold her breath but she hoped Lexi could open Happy up to something more than just one night stands.
They were all still sitting by the fountain when Happy and Chibs walked up.
"Good mornin! Ready to hit the road?" He asked
"I don't know, how about you boys wanna go see your dad?"
"DADDY DADDY!"
"DA DA DA" the boys yelled
Chibs helped Tara carry the boys and they headed toward the car.
Lexi and Happy walked right behind them headed to the truck.
"Oh, here is your hoodie, thank you for letting me wear it" Lexi said handing the hoodie back.
Happy went to reach for it but stopped.
"Um, you can still wear it, if your still cold I mean" he said almost shyly.
"Uh, ok thanks" lexi said blushing now understanding what he meant from the gesture.
Chibs and Tara close enough to hear them looked at each other and smiled.
After being on the road a while riding in silence Lexi decided to break the awkwardness and started a conversation.
"I like your tattoos. I always wanted to get one" Lexi said
"Hmm another thing to add to the list." He said
"Oh you have a list do you?" She asked smiling
"Well ya, cant have you deprived of the finer things in life." He joked
"Riding bikes and tattoos are the finer things?" She asked laughing
He chuckled. Realizing what he said
"I think I like the idea of that. I mean as long as its you I get to experience it with." She said.
She got nervous then. Hoping she just didn't freak him out.
"I think Id like it too." He said avoiding her eyes
She felt relieved.
The remainder of the trip went by great and as expected they drove past the Welcome to charming sign at 12:00 am.
They pulled up to Jax and Tara's house and not surprising to Tara, Jax had all of SAMCRO there ready to hurry and unpack.
Jax hurried to the car after impatiently waiting to kiss his wife and hold his kids in his arms.
After Jax welcomed Tara home. Tara took turns being welcomed by the rest of the club. All of them telling her they were happy to have her home and congrats on the baby. They decided to leave the boys in their car seats while the club unpacked the vehicals.
Since everyone was there it only took 1 hour to bring in all the boxes and set up the beds and dressers.
"Lylas excited to see you and the boys. She will be over day after tomorrow to help unpack boxes." Opie told Tara
Tara and Lyla had a ruff start but they did end up finding a mutual respect for one another and became good friends.
"Oh good Ill be glad to see her too and the kids." She said
Tara and Jax said their thanks and goodbyes and everyone left.
Before Happy left Lexi tried again to give him back his hoodie.
"Im thinking you will need your hoodie back now for the ride home." She said
"Naw, im good. " he smiled.
"Lexi, ill see you soon to start crossing things off my list." She told him
"I hope so" he said
She smiled and turned to walk to her room in the basement, and Happy left.
Jax seeing the whole conversation looked to Tara.
"Oh I forgot to mention, im a match maker." She winked at him on her way to grab the boys.
The next day Jax decided to stay home with Tara and the boys.
"I cant believe we're back here." Tara said making the boys breakfast
Jax came up behind and wrapped his arms around her stomach. "I know me either, i keep getting scares this is all a dream" he says
"I just, think about the day I left. Thinking I was never going to see you again"
Jax turned Tara around. "Well I promise you will never have to be put in that position again."
Tara smiled and nodded. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Their daughter began kicking.
"Woah, ok baby girl Ill back up" Jax joked.
Lexi came up from the basement. "Good morning guys"
"Good morning" Tara and Jax said
"Oh coffee, yes!" Lexi said excitedly
"So Lexi, How did you and Happy get along the ride here?" He asked smiling
Lexi smiled and shrugged. "Um..we got along fine."
"Just fine huh?" He asked
"Yep, just fine" she answered taking the cheerio offered by Thomas
"Ok well good. Im glad it was...jist fine" he said
Tara chuckled. Lexi rolled her eyes
The day went by uneventful. They took it pretty easy still recovering from their trip. Jax took the kids out back to play. Lexi sat with Tara on the livingroom
"Think of any names yet or is just going to be babygirl and Princess?" Lexi asked reaching over to feel her kick.
"I havn't talked to Jax about it yet but I think I named her." Tara said
"Im all ears" Lexi told her
"Grace Natalie Teller, Grace for my mom, and Natalie is the female version of Nathaniel which is Jax's middle name.
"Oh Tara I love it" Lexi said
"What?" Jaxed asked walking back in with the boys.
"I think I know her name." Tara explained with her hand on her belly.
"Oh good, lets hear it" he said smiling.
"Grace Natalie Teller"
"Its beautiful babe" Jax told her.
"Im glad you like it" Tara smiled
Jax walks over and kneels down in front of Tara and kisses her stomach. "My little Grace. Daddy loves you"
"Speaking of I need to go shopping in a couple of days for the nursery. Tara looked around.
"I know babe, we need a new house." Jax said
"Yes we do, what is Neeta up to these days?" Tara asked
Jax smiled. "I already talked to her. She starts next week"
"Thank you baby."
Jax picked up his IPad and sat next to her.
"Lets look at some house listings" he told her
Without even noticing Lexi had left the room they see her walk past them to the front door.
"Oh Lex, we are looking at houses to buy wanna help us find something" Tara asked her.
Tara realized that Lexi was leaving. She also noticed she was dressed up. She had on her favorite jean shorts, extra short with a baggy tucked in black tee shirt. She had her hair up and a cute messy bun with little curls coming down and she was wearing some makeup. Minimal but still still. She usually didn't wear make up.
"Oh, sorry didn't realize you were going out" Tara told questioningly.
Lexi smiled. " Ya um Happy is going to show me around. But im sure what ever you guys decide I will love. See you guys later" she told them in a hurry and left.
Tara leaned up to look out the window and seen Happy out front on his bike waiting.
"Hm you weren't lyin babe, I think there is something there between them" Jax said.
When Lexi came out, a smile spread across Happys face. All he could think was "Damn she is sexy"
"Hey" Lexi said
"Hey, ready for your first ride?" Happy asked handing her a helmet.
"Yes" Lexi reached up and pulled her hair tie out and shook out her long brown hair"
Happy stared in awe. "Damn" he said under his breath
"Sorry, what did you say?" She asked
"Oh nothing" he answered. "Ok hold tight"
Lexi got on and wrapped her arms around his torso. He heart began to beat a little faster and nit because she was anxious about riding. At the diner girls from Cara Cara came in and seeing Happy they all walk over to say their hellos. They looked Lexi up and down rolling eyes and then smiling at Happy.
Lexi looked down feeling like she could never look as good as them and if these are the type of girls Happy went for she didn't stand a chance.
"Hey girls, im a little busy if you have some issues at Cara cara get ahold of Bobby" Happy told them dismissing them.
They looked at Happy wide eyed and confused. They looked back at Lexi and huffed and walked away. "Whatever" they said .
Lexi looked up and smiled at Happy.
After lunch Happy took her outside of town. Showing her the sights. They rode up the mountain sides. Lexi was used to seeing mountains but not like this. She was having so much fun.
Once it got almost dusk Happy pulled over at a lake. It seemed like a private lake. No houses anywhere.
"This is my favorite place." He told her. "SAMCRO owns it so no one else comes up here"
The lake was surrounded by trees and mountains. There were flowers blooming everywhere. The sunset was like a painting.
Lexi walked up to the edge of the water. " it so beautiful up here. I can see why you like it" she said
"Its nothing compared to you" he said
Lexi looked into Happy's eyes. It was first time he openly admitted he was attracted to her.
He slowly leaned in and their lips met.
He wrapped his arms around her middle and pulled her in. Lexis arms wrapped around his neck. Her legs feeling weak.
After kissing Lexi pulled away slowly. Smiling not being able to speak.
Lexi looked at the lake and back at Happy.
"What?" He asked her.
She took a step back from Happy and unbuttoned her shorts and let them fall. She then pulled her shirt over her head also letting it fall to the ground. She stood there in just a black lace bra and matching thong.
"You are so amazing" he said.
She blushed, reached around and unsnapped her bra. She slowly removed it exposing her perfectly shaped perky breasts.

He winked. "I had a good time too. I hope to see you soon actually. I don't think I want spend that much time away from you." He told her. Then looked down as if he was embarrassed.
She cupped his chin leaned forward and gave him a kiss. "I want to see you too. Good night Happy."
She walked away smiling. Happy of course waiting till she went inside before taking off.
Lexi got inside and seen Tara and Jax cuddled on the couch.
"Oh hey guys." Lexi says
"Hey, did you guys have a good time?" Tara askes
"Yes, it was fun Charming is beautiful, im going to take a shower and go to bed. Goodnight" she tells them
Jax and Tara smile at each other and continue cuddling.
As the hot water cascades down Lexi's body she closes her eyes and moves her hand around remembering the lake. She cant believe how much he had her acting so out of character. Not in a bad way persay but she couldn't explain it. He was just made her feel safe and...Happy.
