Its been 5 months since Grace Natalie Teller came into the world. A Lot has happened. Abel started preschool. Thomas is talking more. Lexi began working at St. Thomas in the OB department and her and Happy were as happy as could be. SAMCRO opened their car and bike detailing shop. Lyla announced her and Opie were expecting and Tara decided to compromise with Jax and only work Mondays and Tuesdays at St. Thomas. With so much time off, Tara realized that she wanted to be more involved in SAMCRO's endeavours and be a true Queen of SAMCRO with Lyla and Lexi at her side.
Jax was happy to let Tara be as involved as she wanted. She wanted to be more involved with the community. The 3 old ladies decided they wanted SAMCRO to host a fair for the kids. She invited Lyla over so the 3 of them could begin planning.
"Im so glad you guys want to help, I wouldn't be able to plan this without you." Tara told them.
"Hell ya, it sounds like fun, I just hope I dont get sick for it." Lexi said. "Iv been starting to feel under the weather."
"Oh no, well I hope you feel better." Tara said
"Speaking of feeling better, how are you feeling these days Lyla?" Lexi asked
"No more morning sickness, but oh man my sex drive is on over drive." Lyla said making them laugh.
"Ok lets plan" Tara said still giggling
They decided it would be a 2 weekends from then.
They would have a petting zoo, games, tons of food and drink vendors. They would have entertainers for the kids walking around to do balloon animals, and magic tricks. All proceeds would go to the schools of Charming.
They would have SAMCRO run all the games and hire the vendors.
"Im so excited. Ill start calling the vendors tomorrow." Tara said.
"I can make sure to arrange the zoo and rent the space." Lexi said
" I will make sure all the seating, tables and tents are rented" Lyla said
"Ok, sounds good" Tara told them
"Welp, im going to go home and get ready for the kids to get off the bus." Lyla said
When she left, Tara took Grace into her room to nurse her. Lexi followed.
"Uh Tara, I need to talk." Lexi said nervously.
"Whats going on?" Tara asked
Lexi sat down and pulled out a pregnancy test and handed it to Tara with tears in her eyes.
Tara took the test and her eyes opened wide. "Oh my god Lex, your pregnant."
"I know, I have no idea what Im going to do Tara, things are going so good with Happy. I just dont know how he is going to react." Lexi told her.
Tara leaned over and put her hand on her leg. "Lex, Happy is a grown man. He knows the risk of having sex"
"I know its just we have only been together a few months now, I don't want him to think Im trying to trap him" Lexi explained.
"You have not done anything to make Happy question your intensions. Happy is one of most loyal men I have ever meant. Just tell him" Tara told her with a smile
Lexi sighed and sat back. "Your right. I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow. Ill tell him and ask if he wants to come."
"Sounds good. As a matter of fact im pretty sure they are at the club house." Tara said.
Lexi nodded. "Ok I just need to do it and get it over with."
Lexi got up kissed Graces hand and left to tell Happy he was going to be a father.
Lexi was shaking the whole way to the clubhouse. Her palms sweaty. She pulls in and sees Happy, working on a car in the garage.
Happy looked up and sees her pulling in. "Hey prospect, take over for me this car needs to be done in an hour"
The prospect nods and takes over without hesitation.
He meets her half way. He smiles and kisses her. "Hey beautiful, what are doing here?"
"Can we talk?" Lexi asks
"Uh ya lets go to my dorm are you ok?." He asks concerned
"Ya lets just go and Ill explain" she says
They get back to the dorm. They both sit on the bed but Lexi stands back up and begins to slowly pace.
"Lex, your making me nervous what is it just tell me" he says
Lexi stops and turns to him and take a deep breath..."Im pregnant"
Happy just stared at her. "Are you sure?"
Lexi nodded. "I'v taken like 10 test. Yes Im sure" when he didn't say anything Lexi begins to cry.
"Im so sorry" She says and goes to leave.
"Lex wait!" He called after her. He jumps up and grabs her arm before she can make it out the door.
He turns her and hugs her wrapping his arms around her. He leads her back to the bed to sit down.
"Im sorry Im guess im in shock. This is all new territory for me. I never really saw myself having a kid. But I never expected to fall for anyone either, look I have no fucking idea how to do any of this but Im going to be there you know that right?" He asked her
She smiled still with tears in her eyes and nodded. He reached his hand up and wiped away her tears.
"Your just going to have to tell me what to do" he told her making her laugh.
"I have a Dr appointment tomorrow if you want to come." She told him
"Ill be there." He told her.
Lexi told him the time to be at St. Thomas the next day and left.
Happy went back to working on the car and Jax walked up seeing Lexi leave.
"Everything good brother?" He asked
"Ya" Happy answered not looking at him.
Jax shrugged it off.
Jax got home just in time for dinner. He loved being able to go home every night and spend time with his family like a real family was supposed to do.
Tara was sitting at the table with the boys nursing Grace. "Oh hey everybody daddy's home"
"Hey Daddy" Abel said
"Hi Dad-dy" Thomas waved
"Oh hello my monsters" he told them
"I not monster, I a boy daddy" Abel told him
"I know, I know" he said as he bent over to kiss his ladies. " how are my favorite girls today?"
"Doing good, your plate is in the microwave"
Jax sat down and couldn't wait to tell him everything about the fair. She asked if at Sunday church she could host a spaghetti dinner and announce it to the whole club and assign their duties.
Jax chuckled. "Assign their duties huh? Spoken like a true queen"
Tara smiled. "Yep, sure am".
"Oh hey, Lex came by the club house earlier, seemed off when she left, Happy too." Jax mentioned
"Ya about that. Lex and Happy are going to be adding another member to SAMCRO." Tara told him
Jax looked confused for a second and it clicked and his eyes got big and he smiled.
"No shit! Happy a father, never thought Id see the day" Jax said
"Right, my thoughts exactly, next thing we know she will be wearing his crow, just watch" Tara said
They finished their dinner and Jax spent some time with the kids while Tara took a quiet relaxing bath. He was sitting outback holding Grace in his lap. He could help but laugh as she squealed, giggled, and kicked wanting so bad to be running with her brothers.
"Ready start running around already beautiful girl" Lexi said as she walked up on her way to the guest house.
"Hey Lex" Jax said
"Hey, wheres Tara?" She asked
"Inside, taking a bath." He said as Grace started pulling on his beard blowing raspberries.
"She is growing so fast. Before you know it it will be time for another one." Lexi joked.
"Oh I think we got our fill" Jax said
Lexi laughed and walked to the guest house.
The next day Lexi was getting ready for her appointment when Tara knocked and came in.
"Figured I would come see how you are doing. Didn't get a chance to ask how it went." She said
"He was speechless at first. Freaked me out a little but he hated to see me upset. It was sweet. He's coming to my appointment." Lexi said
"That's great, when is it?" Tara asked
"45 minutes. Im about ready to leave actually.'
Just then they heard a roar of a bike. Tara looked toward the house.
"Huh, Jax is supposed to be collecting rent today,...oh wait." Tara turned to Lexi and smiled. "Its Happy."
Lexi blushed.
Happy walked into the guest house. "Oh hey Tara."
"Hello Hap. Well I better get back inside. Thomas and Grace were napping. Call me later?" She said to Lexi.
"Of course I will if I don't see you first." Lexi said
When Tara left Happy turned to Lexi and slowly walked up to her. Lifting his hands to her waist he kissed her. So deep and so passionate.
"Oh Happy, you are making it really hard to stay dressed." She told him
"You just make me hard" he said jokingly
She chuckled. "I thought you were meeting me there" she said
"I figured we could go together" he said
"Ok, well do you want to drive?" She said handing him the keys to her Nissan.
"We're not taking my bike?" He asked
She laughed. "I cant ride for next 7 months Happy."
"Oh, well I guess that makes sense. Cage it is." He said.
They are driving to the hospital and Happy notices a car following them. Trying not to startle Lexi he doesn't say anything but he keeps an eye on the car.
The car is black with tinted windows. He cant tell but he is sure its a man. They pull into the hospital and park. Happy gets out and watches the guy slowly pass them and keep going.
"Hap?" Lexi asked
"Lets go inside and make sure this baby is healthy." He tells her
They don't wait long and Lexi is called back. Happy has never felt so nervous and out of his element. He stands by Lexi listening to her and the Dr. talk.
"Mr. Lowmen, do you have any questions?" Dr. Mabel asked.
"No mam, not right now." He answered.
Doctor Mabel smiled. "Well as I understand this is also your first child. If you do have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, now to the fun part. Lets take a look at the baby." She says
Lexi lays down and pulls up her shirt.
Dr. Mabel sits on the other side and gets the gel on the stick and starts the ultrasound.
Happy is staring at the screen not understanding anything of what he is seeing. But then he hears it. A very distinct heart beat.
"Is that the babies heart beat?" He asked
"Yes it is, and a very strong heart beat at that." Dr. Mabel says as she points to the screen. "and that is your baby."
Happy leans forward focusing and he sees it.
"Oh my god, there is baby in there" he says almost in shock
Lexi laughs. "Yes, our baby" she says.
Then Happy looks at Lexi and with a rush of emotions he has never felt. He kisses her..."I love you Lex"
Lexi starts to tear up and smiles. "I love you too."
After their appointment they walk out hand in hand. Lexi gives Happy one of the ultrasound pictures to keep in his cut. As Happy opens the car door for her he notices the black car again. As it drives away and takes a mental note of the license plate.
On the way back to Jax and Taras Happy has an idea. "How would you feel about getting a place of our own?"
"Are you sure you ready for that?" She asks
"Why not, we pretty much spend every night together anyway." He says
"Ok, I can start looking for places." She says
When they get back Lexi runs to show Tara the ultrasound pictures. Before taking off Happy tells Lexi he has to get to the shop and will call her later.
He gets to the clubhouse and sees Jax talking to a Jamie who runs the office.
"Hey pres, can we talk a minute." Happy asked
"Uh ya, ill be right back Jamie" Jax says
They walk into the lot. "What's up, didn't Lex have her appointment?" Jax asked
"Ya, we went, there was a guy following us." Happy tells him
"Are you sure? Did you recognize him or the car?" Jax asks
"No but I think he was following Lex." Happy said
"Why do you think that?"
"The license plate was from Colorado." Happy says
Jax seemed to have a realization. "Tara told me that Lex moved in with her because she left her boyfriend who was an asshole. I guess he hit her."
Happy balled up his fists instantly feeling rage.
"Its ok Hap, shes here in Charming and safe. Lets get Juice and try to look him up. See where he is. Did you tell Lex you were being followed?"
Happy shook his head. "No, I didn't want to freak her out."
"I get that but if there is one thing Iv learned is 100 percent disclosure. Plus we need her to be cautious when she goes out. Here lets head back home and have Juice meet us there. We will figure it out."
The guys got back to the house. Juice was already there.
"Hey baby, what's going on? Juice said you told him to meet you here?" Tara says
"Hey babe, we need to talk to Lexi" Jax says
Lexi was holding Grace and stands up.
"Whats going on? Happy?" She asks
"When we were going to your appointment I noticed we were being followed. When we left I noticed the car again and seen the license plate was from Colorado."
Lexi became physically shaken.
"Neeta can you help me put Thomas and Grace down for their naps?" Tara asks as she grabbed Grace from Lexis arms
Happy walked over to Lexi. "Why didn't you tell me.?"
Lexi shrugged. "Its a part of my past I wanted to forget. I was...ashamed. I allowed my self to get beat almost every day for 8 months before I finally did anything about it." She told him with tears in her eyes.
Happy seeing her upset wrapped his arms around her.
Juice set up his computer at the table. Jax walks up to Lexi as Tara came out with the baby monitor.
"Lex, if you can, we have to figure out if the guy following you guys was that asshole. Can you come sit at the table with us and give us the information we need?"
Lexi nodded.
They all sat at the table and Lexi started.
"His name is James Thomas Wallace." She began. She continued to answer all their questions to pin point where this guy was. She explained that he was a contractor. Traveled sometimes for his company which was called Wallace contracting.
"Son of bitch" Jax said
"What?" Tara asked
"That's who we hired to build the new buildings for the 3 new auto shops." Jax explained. "I thought it was weird when we were approached by this guy when we were looking at the space for the new shops. It was the day you had Grace. He said he noticed we were scoping the area and gave me his card. Told me he was new contractor to the area and figured we could help each other out." Jax said
"Car is registered to a James Wallace" Juice said. "Its him"
Lexi stood up. "Im so sorry" she turned and walked out going to the guest house.
Jax nodded to Happy signaling to go after her.
"Jax, this guy is crazy, unstable. Lexi told me they would be sitting watching Tv laughing and then he would just hit her out of nowhere. He would come home from work everyday and...inspect her, like her body. Told her if he ever found out she was with anyone else he would kill her" Tara explained worriedly
"We will not let anything happen to her babe. I promise" Jax reassured her.
In the guest house Lexi was sitting on her bed. Happy came in and sat next to her.
"I will kill him before he ever got anywhere near you. You know that right?" He told her.
"I wouldn't ever want you to have to do that." Lexi told him
"Look Lex, I know we haven't really talked about our pasts. But I think you should know something about me. About what my role was with the club when Clay was president" He told her. "You seen all the smiley faces, well each one is for every person I..." He looked down unable to look her in the eyes. Afraid of what she might do after she learned the truth.
"Happy, its ok just tell me" she said
"Each one is for a person I...killed for the club." He told her.
Lexi took a breath. "Happy, Tara explained to me all about what SAMCRO used to be, USED to be. Look we are all different people then what we were. No one from the club can say they have never taken a life. I don't care who you were or what you did before. I know the man I fell in love with would only hurt a person who deserved it."
Happy looked at her and nodded. "I love you Lexi."
" and we love you." She said putting her hand on her stomach.
Happy leaned into her belly. "I love you too little one."
Lexi chucked.
Later that night when Lexi fell asleep Happy felt restless. Carful not to wake her he got up and stepped outside to hit a cigarette. Jax was getting some water and seen him sitting by the pool.
"Hey brother, cant sleep?" Jax asked
"Nah, not really. How do you do it?" Happy asked
Jax looked at him confused. "Do what?"
"Deal with all this, your old lady?, kids? I mean just the thought of anyone touching Lex makes me angry as hell enough to kill someone, now I got a kid in the mix? How do you not go crazy with fucking...worry or anger." Happy asked
Jax chuckled. "Ya, it gets...intense. You learn how to deal with it. Before leaving the outlaw life I learned that I can lean on Tara as much as she leans on me. She loves me man, I don't know why she does but she does. She keeps me center. Lean on Lex, she can handle more than you think."
Happy nodded. "Ya, thanks pres."
Just then Tara came out. "Hey, everything ok?" She asked
"Ya just hittin a cigarette, I was just coming back in" Jax said
"Ok, night Hap" she said as she walked back inside
"Night guys" Happy said
Happy thought hard about what Jax said. He decided Jax was right. He and Lexi were in this together. He wouldn't forget it. He decided to go back and lay with his other half. He also decided he would ask her to wear his crow. He knew what he wanted. It was her. Forever.
The next day Lexi got up and started getting ready for her shift. Happy rolled over.
"Your going to work?" He said
"I have to. Look i know you are worried but the hospital has security Ill be fine." She said.
He got up and got dressed. "I will drop you off and pick you up then." He said
"If you insist." She said
He went up to her and kissed her. "I do insist" he said
They stopped to get some food before her shift. While almost to the hospital Lexi's hand went to her mouth.
"Pull over! Hurry!" She yelled
Happy pulled over just in time for Lexi to open the door and throw up her breakfast. He leaned over and held her hair.
She sat back up "Ugh. Sorry." She said "morning sickness"
"Don't be sorry. Just a reminder that your carrying my baby." He told her.
"There are other ways I could remind you" she joked
They pulled up and Happy looked around to make sure he didn't see James lurking.
"I would kiss you but...i would rather brush my teeth first" she said
"Its ok, you owe me." He told her smiling. She got out and he waited until she she got inside before he drove away.
Pulling up to the club house Jax was standing out front with the other guys filling them in about James.
"Hey Hap, wheres your bike?" Bobby asked
"Drove Lexi to work" he said
"By the way speaking of Lexi, We should all congratulate Happy here. He's going to be a father" Jax announced
"HEY! And Congrats!' they all say
"Thanks guys. More of a reason to help me keep her safe. I know its my problem.."
Jax lifted his hand. "No, shes an old lady. Shes family. We protect our family no matter the cost."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Im going to ask her to wear my crow." Happy said
"Damn bro, she does got you wrapped. Never thought Id see the day" Tig said
A couple of crow eaters brought out some beers.
"Hey guys heard you congratulating thought you all could use a beer." Tina said
"Thanks" they told her. They all said "cheers"
"Ok, for the time being im going to assign the prospects to keep tabs on the businesses. They will do it all. Check the books, collect rent, everything. I want members looking for this fucker and escorting our old ladies and kids anywhere and everywhere they go. This Sunday Tara, Lexi, and Lyla want to throw and spaghetti dinner. I expect everyone there." Jax said
Everyone nodded.
"Tig, Chibs, this guys is crazy. We don't know if he's working alone stalking Lexi. I want you guys to go to storage and get us some heat to carry. I don't want the community to catch wind of this. So make sure that when you carry its well hidden. Don't want to give anyone a reason to think we are back peddling and going outlaw. We have all worked hard to earn the respect of Charming and I plan to keep their trust and respect. Does everyone understand?" Jax asked
They all nod. "Alright. Lets finish these beers and start tracking this guy. Ill go assign a prospect to each old lady." Jax said
Back at Tara's house. Tara heard the roar of a bike pulling into the drive. Tara and Neeta were surprised to see it was a prospect. "What the hell?" Tara said as she went out side
"Hello Mrs. Teller,Ms. Neeta, Im posted here until further notice I will also be escorting you if you leave." He said
"Oh shit" Tara said pulling out her phone to call Jax.
Jax answered on the second ring.
"Jax, you really think this is necessary?" Tara asked
"You said yourself this guy was crazy. We cant be too carful. If he is that obsessed with Lexi he will try to get to her through any means necessary. Even if it's through someone else. Just go about your business as usual" Jax explained.
"Ok baby, I love you" Tara said as she hung up. She looked at Neeta. "My husband, forever my fierce protector."
The rest of week passed and it was now Saturday. No trace of James has been found. They figured since Happy noticed him he was probably laying low.
All of his staff was no longer working on the construction of the new shops either. The job had been abandoned. The club decided to stop construction all together until James was found.
Instead of Sunday, they decided to throw the dinner on Saturday. Tara, Lyla, and Lexi and the kids were at the club house making speghetti, garlic bread, and salad for everyone. They had some of the crow eaters helping as well.
They could tell some of the newer crow eaters didn't realize what all it entailed to be a croweater. Tara made it known that if they chose to stick around unclaimed they would earn their place to get the perks. Tara had Steph and Lily, the most veteran crow eaters show the new ones the ropes.
"What are we doing?" Bailee, one of the new crow eaters whined. "Who the hell are they anyway?" She asked talking about Tara, Lyla, and Lexi.
"They are the old ladies here, and that one over there is the presidents wife so you better show respect and stay in your lane if you want your chance to sleep with a member." Steph explained as she swept the floor.
Bailee huffed. "I bet I can Jax to realize he could have way better besides, after all those kids he's probably bored" she said
Lily and Steph looked at each other and chuckled. "Look, I have no idea what plan you think you have, but trying to get with any claimed men wont just get you banned from here but will get you hurt. Those women are anything but weak. They can and will beat the shit out of you. Just keep to yourself and do as your told if you want to stay. Now, get wiping tables" Lily told her.
Bailee rolled her eyes but did as she was told thinking to herself "we'll see"
Dinner was finally ready and Tara, Lyla, and Lexi made the kids plates first and then called the men. Instead of waiting for church Tara decided they would announce the fair while everyone was eating.
Tara, Lyla, and Lexi all stood and began their announcement.
"Ok guys, as Im sure Jax already told you we got something planned and we want everyone involved. We want to put on a kids fair for Charming." They all 3 went on to explain all their ideas and explained all the proceeds would go to the schools.
"We thought it would be easier to have a sign up sheet made so we know who is doing what and keep track of what we need to get." Lexi explained.
"Any questions?" Lyla asked
"I think we got it, I also think we should have a beer tent with the beer served by strippers but Im guessing that out of the question." Tig said
"Uh ya" Tara said laughing.
Tara gave the sign up sheet to Jax to take into church Sunday. They old ladies then decided they wanted to stay at the clubhouse a little while longer and have a night out with their men. They asked Neeta to take all the kids back to Jax and Tara's and she gracefully said yes.
With Tara nursing, and Lexi and Lyla pregnant they couldn't drink but that didn't stop them from getting loose and hitting the dance floor. With the music blaring their bodies were moving. Hips rolling and asses shaking. Jax, Happy, and Opie keeping close eyes on their old ladies.
Bailee didn't realize Tara had stayed. She looked across the room seeing Jax leaning against the bar drink in hand seemingly unoccupied, decided it was her chance. "Hi, I don't think we've met. Im Bailee"
Jax looked in her direction. She obviously knew who he was. He wouldn't play into her game.
"Yep, have a good night." He said looking back to Tara hoping she would get the hint.
She got closer. "I just love your blue eyes."
"Listen darlin, im not interested" he said
"Oh but I think I could change your mind I am a lot of fu " Baliee got even closer.
Tara seeing this walked right over to Jax grabbing him and kissing him hard grinding her body on his middle. She then looked over at Bailee with Jax's hand on her ass. "He's got all he needs, as a matter of fact" she then looked at Jax " I want your big dick inside me." She said
"As you wish" he said with a smile. He then lifted her up threw her over his shoulder making her squeal with laughter as they disappeared to the dorms.
Bailee crossed her arms but then looked over at Happy and smiled. Before she even got the chance Lexi walked up to Happy and kissed him.
"I don't think so bitch" lexi said. Happy threw his arms over her shoulders and they walked out heading to the car. Happy gripping her ass.
Steph had enough. She actually respected the old ladies and wouldn't let them be disrespected. She went up to Bailee.
"Look, there are plenty of unclaimed men, if you try that shit again your getting your ass beat understand?" She told her.
"Whatever" Bailee said as she walked out.
Bailee only lived about 2 blocks away, so she decided she had enough for the night and began to walk home. As soon as she stepped out of the club gates she was approached by a woman with short blond hair. She didn't get a good look at her face since it was dark outside.
"Didn't like the party" The women asked.
Bailee rolled her eyes "Just bitches thinking they are the best things to walk the earth, but they aren't shit just because they are with a member or married to the president"
"Oh hunny you don't have tell me; I get that. I would love to knock them all down a peg. I'll tell you what, I think we can help each other out. You help me get what I want, and I can help you get the pick of the litter." She said
"Who the hell are you anyway" Bailee asked
"My name isn't important sweetheart, I can promise you that I am a friend who wants the same thing as you, to see those bitches fall from their pedestals." She told her. "Come on, let me drive you home"
Bailee eagerly got into the car. She wanted her hands on Jax and if this woman wanted to get rid of Tara she would help her do whatever she wanted
