"Excellent," he said with a satisfied nod before turning to his work once again. "Stay here for a moment, Jonah. I need to finish something, and then speak with the two of you."

Oak nodded, and before he could get a word in, Audia began to speak once more. "Oh, that reminds me!" She turned to Jonah and smiled. "You should come by my place when you get the time, Jonah! My sister has a map of Kanto that she wants to give you. The last thing we want is for you to get lost in Viridian Forest or something. Sound good?"

"Okay, great!" Audia hopped off the table, with a small honk accompanying her as her feet hit the ground. "See you later, professor! Bye!"

"Are you alright, Jonah?" Oak showed the first bit of genuine concern towards her since she first came to get her starter. She glanced to the old man, noting how his arms were crossed. "Are you starting to get second thoughts?"
