It's dark here, where am I? What is following me, is this a dream why won't I wake up? Is this fog, is anyone else here please someone else be here. I think I see someone, they look just like me it could be my twin. Are they raising their arm? I want to take it," Don't go to your real home. Claire, it's a nightmare you'll never wake from…..or leave."

She's behind me," What are you talking about Augusta's my home. Where am I?'' The girl didn't answer she grabbed my arm it hurt a lot. The sirens went off birds are going to a church this place is changing something is manifesting behind this girl, she's not running away her grip's getting stronger," This is your real home Claire, and this is what you can do." She let go but I still can't move. Is that barbwire on me? It's dragging me away," TELL IT TO STOP, PLEASE."

All that girl do was smile darkly," She wants to see her daughter." Then that girl and the beast behind her turned and walked off. The wires let me go, why am I now in a hospital room, what is covering the walls?

Then I heard some weird breathing from the bed. Someones in it! Why is that person all burnt and just laying there? Their arm is outstretched like that girl from before, I can't do anything. I just curl up into a ball and scream.

"CLAIRE, HEY, IT'S ALRIGHT." Please stop yelling and shaking me. I stop screaming and wake up to see mom and dad why are they looking worried," Are you, alright baby?" All I could do was hug my dad I couldn't say anything all I could do was cry. Dad held me and asked my mom something, I couldn't tell what it was though at this point I don't care. Eventually, I fell asleep again, this time peacefully I didn't dream of that place or the girl who was like my twin or the burned girl.

Third Person POV

Once Claire fell asleep again, Hunter left his little girl's room and went to his wife who put their son, Chris back to sleep. Ellen had already got Chris to sleep again before Hunter got Claire, once he got back to the living room the baby monitor from Claire's room had picked up her voice faintly," Silent Hill… Silent Hill… Silent Hill," That was going to continue throughout the night again," Where did she hear the name Silent Hill it's a ghost town." Ellen asked looking at her husband," Maybe she's learning about it in school. I hope?''

Hunter responded to his wife's concern this had been going on for months and no doctor has been able to find out why, nor has she ever asked about Silent Hill or ever come up when she needs help with homework. After looking for weeks Hunter found a route to Silent Hill and planned to take Claire there so that it might put an end to the nightmares.

Next Day

"Mom, why do Dad and Claire have to go to Silent Hill?'' asked Chris who was annoyed with everything that has been going on since Claire turned 7, all the nightmares, her screaming in the middle of the night, and the occasional sleepwalking. Ellen looked over to her son," Chris I've told you this already. There's a doctor who might be able to help Claire who's in Silent Hill."

Chris didn't really understand why that doctor couldn't come here or all 4 of them just go," Why can't the doctor just come to our house?'' Chris asked angrily, his mom signed and shook her head," The supplies he might need are all difficult to move, and before you ask would you be able to sit in a car for 3 hours the answer is no you struggle with 1 hour." Chris immediately looked away angrily knowing his mom was right," Why can't you go?" Ellen was almost at her last nerve," Your father already called in and he was told something he can't tell anyone else, not even Claire knows what it is." A few minutes later Claire came downstairs," Morning honey, did you sleep well?''Ellen asked Claire, the little girl nodded yes," Dad left a little bit ago he should be back soon." Claire didn't answer her mother back, a while later their dad came back," Morning everyone." Hunter exclaimed as he came through the door," Welco-" before Ellen could finish, Chris asked his dad the question he asked his mom a little while ago," Why do you and Claire have to go to Silent Hill? Why can't all of us go? Can mom go instead? Can I go?"

Before Chris asked another question Claire slapped him," Shut up, I don't really want to go either, but I have to so get over it."

"It's not my fault you have those nightmares. Every Day, none of us can sleep and at night I'd be surprised if the neighbors can sleep peacefully at night."

"I could stay and the nightmare could continue and you never get a good night's rest."

Claire responded to Chris who was about to say something but their dad ushered them into the kitchen before one of them turned in physical.

After breakfast somehow they managed to get through without a fight breaking out. Hunter told Claire to pack an overnight bag along with something to do for the 3-hour trip they were about to go on.

About 20 minutes later Hunter and Claire could finally leave with no thanks to Chris who tried sneaking into the car before Hunter caught him and locked the doors. Once Hunter and Claire left Ellen went to deal with Chris.

20 miles in

The car started sounding different looking at the dashboard Hunter noticed they had enough gas to get them to the next town and they were miles away from Silent Hill. Once they reached the gas station, the car was running on fumes. After the car got a full tank Hunter looked back at his daughter who was reading her favorite book Alice in Wonderland," Hey Claire you want something to drink?" The young girl looked up and thought for a second," Water." Hunter smiled," Would you like to come in?'' Claire shook her head no. Hunter went to the gas station paying for the gas and getting water and 24-ounce coffee.

40 miles later

*It's already noon, does not feel like that.* Hunter thought to himself looking in the mirror he saw Claire who was reading a new book he couldn't see what it was, it didn't bother him at the time. They entered another town," Hey Claire you hungry?" Hunter asked, Claire, didn't respond he asked again," Hey kiddo you hungry?'' This time Claire looked up but didn't answer," Are you hungry?'' Hunter asked again hoping to get an answer this time. Claire thought for a second," A little," she responded," Looks like there's a Subway here, and a park wanna stop there?" Claire nodded yes, Hunter pulled into a line for about 15 cars," Hey we're gonna be waiting here for a while you ok with that?" Claire looked up at her dad once again," Ya I'm fine with that. Hey, dad what's a period?" Hunter wide-eyed looked at his daughter, who was reading Carrie*, Of course, she had to ask me that one*Hunter angrily thought to himself," Well it's something girls go through once a month. According to your mother, they suck and really hurt, you can ask her the rest." Hunter said trying to make it understandable for a 7-year-old," Do you know why they say Plug it up and throw tampons at Carrie?" Claire asked, Hunter, didn't want to answer that question," Give me the book Claire." He said almost angrily, Claire immediately gave her dad the book he took it and faced her," When you understand a period you can read this again. Let me guess mom let you read Stephen King?" Claire nodded yes, Hunter shook his head and put the book in the glove compartment.

Claire pulled another book out it was The Shinning, Hunter sighed and rubbed his temples, and moved up one spot. About 1 hour later Hunter and Claire went to the park," Ok Claire go play for a little we're gonna leave in about a half-hour."Claire smiled a ran off to the swings. Hunter watched his daughter run off and started to eat his lunch not really wanting to sit down after sitting for almost 3 hours.

Once he finished his sandwich he started to make his way to Claire who was still at the swings, at about halfway some teens came to the swings and stopped Claire and shoved her off. Hunter started running to his daughter *WHO PUTS WOODCHIPS UNDER THE SWING?* Hunter thought to himself the teens ran once they saw Hunter running to them. Claire wasn't hurt that bad but had some cuts a bruise on her knee once they got to the car hunter asked his daughter if she was ok Claire only nodded yes.

50 miles later

*low on gas again? That last one should have gotten us to Silent Hill.* Hunter stopped at the crowded gas station to refill the gas tank again. 15 minutes later Hunter started to refill the tank *Another setback. First Chris, then low gas, the long line that took an hour to get through, those teens and low gas again. At this rate, we're gonna get near Silent hill by night* Hunter thought to himself," Hey Claire you need to go use the bathroom?" Hunter asked Claire," Ya, I do." Claire responded," Ok you can go in and use the bathroom I might be still here or be at the front ok," Hunter told Claire she already started to head into the station.

The tank was full again* This better gets us to Silent Hill* Hunter thought, he got the car to the front of the station and noticed the air pressure in all his tires where low and one tire was almost at zero. This pissed Hunter off that now they could lose another hour because of the tires.

Once Claire came out and saw her dad," What wrong with the wheels?" Hunter looked up and saw Claire," The wheels don't have much air in them and I need to replace one. Where gonna be stuck here for a little bit, sorry."Claire only nodded and sat on the sidewalk near the car as her dad worked to put air in the tire and replace one of them.

Once he was done it was already 3 in the afternoon," Guess Chris is lucky he didn't come with us," Hunter asked his daughter and a joke, Claire laughed and nodded yes," Can I sit in the front seat?" Claire asked," Sure honey." Once getting out of the town they were in it should be a straight shot to Silent Hill and they had three-quarters of a tank," That's gonna be bad if our bad luck hits us again."Hunter nodded in agreement to his daughter," How is it already 3:30? We left at like 10:30 this morning." Claire asked," Maybe we're cursed," Claire laughed at her dad's joke.

10 miles later

"New town and we still have half a tank left. Our luck's getting better." Hunter exclaimed happily," Don't jinx us, dad."

Once getting out of the town, they encountered the next problem the road was blocked," Told you don't jink us," Claire said looking up at her dad. Hunter hit his head against the steering wheel," Our lucks gone rotten, it's 4:20 already." Once going around the roadblock is was 15 minutes to 5 o'clock and they were about to enter Silent Hill," Dad the towns blocked off," Hunter didn't care and went straight through the gate ignoring Claire's screams. Going a little farther mist started up and soon consumed the two, once they got to the Silent Hill welcome sigh Hunter and Claire stepped out," We're actually here Silent Hill," Once Hunter got back in the car he realized Claire wasn't in the car and her door was open," Claire?" Hunter stepped out and called for his daughter but no answer he ran off into town and yelled for Claire but he was greeted with a siren and a changing world. Once Hunter could see again he clearly wasn't in Silent Hill he was in some hellish version of it. After standing around for a little Hunter started looking for Claire hoping she was safe from this Hell.
