After what felt like hours passed Claire stood up from the rusty chair and something that felt cold stuck to her leg. Sucking up to the fact it was most likely blood Claire looked out the door she came through, Claire could barely see in front of her.
"Guess I'm taking the boring route out." Going to the other door Claire looked back.
Waving bye to Alessa, Claire left the room only to find herself outside of the Hospital. Opening the main door frantically Claire found the entrance she and the girl took earlier.
Leaving the hospital area Claire saw some footprints in the ashes on the ground," That's way too big to be mine."
Looking where the footprint was heading Claire saw it was going to what would be the downtown area. Following them, they stopped with a small puddle of blood begging the new trail to a school.
In the school, Claire couldn't see anything out of the ordinary besides it being dead quiet like the whole town and there were fewer ashes on the floor but thick layers of dust.
Approaching what looked to be the main office, Claire saw something that was different compared to the town's state. Picking it up it was a bullet casing," Someone else is her from the real world."
Hearing the quiet but heavy footsteps approaching Claire stood still as several armed men once the men saw her and started firing," Hey wait I'm not like them!"
As the other men raised their guns Claire knew one thing, these guys were NOT friends. Sharply turning around Claire started running as fast as her legs would let her.
Outside Claire heard a loud siren that sounded like a weather warning siren or even a bomb siren if the town was as old as it looked. Running into the other side of the building Claire caught a glimpse of the soldiers after her but they didn't follow. In the building the walls began peeling apart, reminding Claire of skin almost, what was behind the skin wall was reddish-brown barbed wire and metal fences.
Running up the stairs another set was in front of her, hearing something fall from the second floor Claire began running up them as the soldiers followed her. Upstairs Claire ran down the hall as the skin-peeling walls seemingly began to peel faster once she passed the area.
Among the soldiers several noticed enormous bugs crawling out of the wall," Captain what the hell do we need to stay here for? We know who the cause is and we know she lives in Racoon city."
The captain looked at the second in command," Did you not hear the orders, the cause is to be killed immediately."
As more bugs resembling cockroaches swarmed out of the wall other soldiers began shooting at them," Oh fuck."
Everyone turned to the end of the hallway to see something crawling towards them, the thing was soon to be seen as a former man in a janitor's outfit and his back stretched in an extremely uncomfortable backbend with his feet touching his head.
"Jesus Christ, what's wrong with this town."
"Jesus isn't going to help us." As several soldiers tried breaking the door down that led to the bathroom that Claire ran into.
Banging on the door the soldiers turned to see something huge enter the hallway, frozen with fear, some of the soldiers could only tremble at the cockroach-like creatures that ate the Captain.
Now even more despite the soldiers starting actually ramming into the door, the enormous creature continued down the hall.
"Open the damn door! There's something after us. Open the door!"
Claire didn't open the door as screams and more pounding on the door were heard, and a tear silently fell down her face. As the pounding stopped something began creeping through the crack in the door, backing away slowly Claire saw the red liquid creeping closer to her.
Claire tried to not think about the one thought in her mind,' I killed those people.'
Looking around Claire saw an odd crack in the wall that wasn't there before, approaching the crack Claire saw it seemed to be a hole to the other side of the wall. Going through the crack sealed up almost instantly having a flesh look before it looked like the rest of the wall.
On the other side was the foggy world version of the town sitting on the floor, Claire tried processing what happened,* I didn't kill them. I didn't kill them, whatever killed them did.*
As several minutes passed by Claire finally stood up and began making her way out of the town.
Outside the schoolhouse Claire saw some vehicles that looked far out of place, cautiously approaching the vehicles Claire saw they were armored vehicles.
"Hands in the air!"
Frozen Claire tried to see who said that from the car windows but they were all blacked out. Reluctantly Claire raised her arms above her head," Turn around slowly."
Claire turned slowly to see several men like the ones from the schoolhouse," Where're the men that were after you?"
Claire didn't say a word as one of the men leaned over to who seemed to be the captain,' Sir, she fits the description of the women Beta team went after and the cause.'
The captain only nodded and turn his gun to Claire," What happened to those men? If you answer right now we might let you live."
Shaking Claire began to panic," W-wait, please I don't know what happened. Please don't kill me."
Everyone looked at the captain as he nodded and all the soldiers fired at Claire, leaving her laying on the street with a shocked expression on her face and a pool of blood growing around her.
The captain turn and attempted to call someone outside the town," Cause is dead Beta team is M.I.A. we're staying around to find them."
The person on the other side didn't respond but the usual static wasn't there," Are you out of the town? Something feels off."
The person on the other side sounded perfect like the two were talking face-to-face," No, the Alpha team is still here Sir."
A pang of fear shoot through the captain as he felt something behind him that wasn't human," So he didn't listen to my warning. Sending his subordinates to do his dirty work."
Dropping dead whoever was behind the captain stopped the body and took the earpiece out," Albert, if we were friends I would apologize. But as we are not and you disobeyed my order, and I can't have that now can I."
The voice of a woman came from the other side before nothing sending a rare wave of fear through Wesker's body. In Silent Hill, the other world took over as Dark Alessa entered the hospital angry for many reasons.
" Those MEN believe they can come in MY town and mess everything I'VE worked for UP!"
Killing some of the nurses in a blind rage, Dark Alessa looked at one of the morgue cells that had the little girl from before," This is going to take forever."
