No one said a thing after Lily showed that he was ready for a fight.

A gentle breeze blew a few leaves off some of the trees. This just showed how quiet everything was, a moment in time that stood still.

The teen's eyes followed the leaves, a simple smile was shown as if he was just taking in the sights.

Both Happy and Panther Lily noticed that as the mysterious teen was looking at the leaves his eyes reminded normal.

They were the normal human eye shape. What's more Lily realized that some magic is harder to use or need time to recharge.

With this information that the black Exceed gathered a plan formed in his mind, one where they could do without any bloodshed.

(Happy…) Lily mumbled under his breath as he rushed forward towards the dragon slayer.

Not only that but as he ran Lily moved his sword upside down with the blade barely touching the ground.

The sight was surprising to the teen as while he knew that Lily is a powerful swordsman and fighter (and a tad bit hothead), he never charge into a battle without a plan of attack or lowering his defences.

Then Lily's plan came into affect.

Using the momentum that he gained Lily dragged the tip of the blade along and once he did a U turn the battle was over. (Kinda)

Sand and dust hit the boy's face that he was unable to see anything.

(He made it look as if he was going for a punch, but I wasn't looking at the tip of his blade.)

The teen found it funny how he didn't put his goggles over his eyes.

He chuckled as he wiped his eyes and got the dust out, only to find that the three Exceeds were long gone.

It only took him a few seconds to put two and two together.

"A BLIND RETREAT?!? REALLY?! DID I REALLY LOOK THAT SCARY?!?!?" The teen shouted as he growled.

———Meanwhile with Happy and the others———

The three-o of Exceeds had cast aera, the spell that gave an exceed a pair of wings to fly.

As the group followed the path Carla couldn't help but notice a look of mixed emotions from Happy to sad and worried to unsure, etc.

She then picked up some speed and was now next to the blue Exceed.

"I know what you're thinking but we had to get away from that boy." Carla said in a understanding but stern tone. As she spoke she kept Happy in her sights never once breaking contact in her words.

"I know but still, he offered to help us or at the very least wants to help even though he would have a target on his back like me."

"But there's something about him that feels so familiar as if I've known him for years, but I can't put my finger on it." Happy stated as he pondered and think back on all of his Fairy Tail adventures.

A chuckle came from the other two who agreed with him.

"Yeah I know what you mean but we have no clue as to whether or not he is with that dark wizard." Lily says as he crossed his arms with a nod.

"For now let's just keep moving. We need to get to Blue Pegasus as soon as possible." The black Exceed said with a commanding look and voice.

The other two nodded and continued onwards.

However they had to walk the rest of the way. Not just to rest their wings but to save on magic energy, and it turns out this was both a wise move while a not to wise move.

———Back with the teen———

The teen was tracking them via their scent but the dust from earlier was making tracking the cat like creatures harder than intimidated.

He groaned about how he should've not used Aura sight on them or at the very least shouldn't have overused the spell as he knew that it would take a while until he could use it again.

Especially in his current form.

Though he didn't have to search for much longer as he heard the sound of swords clashing and the screams of pain to his far right.

He dashed in that very direction and a minute or two later he found them, though they weren't in best of conditions.

Lily was in his battle form fighting some holder-type dark wizards with magic swords, Carla seemed to have used her transformation magic as she was now in her human like form (As in her cat ears and tail carried over).

She was fighting several dark wizards herself and was taking quite a bit of hits.

While happy was running to the left and right as the remaining dark wizards tried to nab him, though they weren't doing a very good job at it.

As he got more and more closer the black and white Exceeds were back to back panting trying to catch their breath.

The sight of them getting hurt was starting to rub him the wrong way as he punched a tree and made a fist like dent/hole in it.

"We can't keep this up for much longer." Carla said as she wiped some of her blood off her lower lip.

"I know… But we…. Can't let them take Happy…" Lily said in between grunts.

They then heard a spell being cast and to their left was a wizard who was getting a spell ready to fire.

However it never came as the dark wizard was kicked in the back of the head by the teen.

"Huh?" Many said in unison by the unexpected arrival of the boy.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!" The dark wizard asked (the very one that the boy kicked).

The teen took a good deep breath before he spoke.

"I'm Kaito, otherwise known as The Aura Dragon Slayer." The now named teen said with gusto.

The look on many were different but anger and confused were all over the dark wizards faces and the three Exceeds faces.

Kaito snickered as he grabbed his right hand's wrist before shouting the following words. "Now…Time to show you the beast within!" Kaito roared as he ran to the enemy wizards.
