Kaito ran at the dark wizards and started throwing punches and kicks, but one dark wizard came up from being with a sharp black dagger in his hand.

Both Lily and Carla saw this.

"Look out behind you!" Both Exceeds shouted to the teen, warning him of the oncoming attack.

Once he heard the warning he figured now would be the best time use his magic.

He dug his right foot into the ground and turned to his right to face the wizard. As he did so his left hand was engulfed in magic.

"AURA DRAGON RISING FIST!" Kaito yelled as he cast one of his many spells.

As he did, his fist was encased in a bright yellow and orange glow. Once he was facing the wizard's direction, Kaito gave the creep a sucker punch straight in the jaw.

The strength of the attack sent the dark wizard hurling back into a tree but not before hitting the ground several times over. Once he did hit the tree he was knocked out in an instant.

Most of the enemy wizards were shocked by the level of Kaito's magic as they slowly turned their heads to him and had just realized that he wasn't bluffing - Kaito really is a dragon slayer.

Many cowered at the sight. However one of them commanded them to fight.

"FOR MORGANA!"

This inspired the dark wizards to keep on fighting. Even those fighting the two exceeds decided to go up against Kaito.

Thanks to this Carla and Lily were able to catch their breath but returned to their original forms. This was a result of using too much magic to sustain their fighting forms/modes.

The duo were unable to assist the slayer as both of their bodies weren't in any condition to do so. All they could do was watch.

"He seems to be handling this very well for someone we just met." Lily noticed as he said what was on his mind.

"Yes but, there's something off about him." The white exceed responded with a look that was saying that she still didn't trust him. At least not fully and not at the moment despite the fact he's on their side.

As the battle continued Kaito decided to show off another spell, one that made his magic epic, so to speak. Kaito jumped high up in the air to the height of Fairy Tail's first guildhall.

"TAKE SHAPE!" He yelled as he cast the spell.

He was then surrounded by a ray of brown and yellow energy that seemed to move to his tailbone. Within seconds the light took the form of a tail - a dragon tail.

As gravity took over, Kaito shouted the name of the spell. "AURA DRAGON TAIL CRUSHER!" He yelled as the energy-like tail smashed into several dark wizards knocking them out.

The sight was inspiring to say the least. Lily felt a very similar feeling he would normally get from his guild mate and partner Gajeel.

There was no mistaking it. The feeling was that of his warrior soul and heart.

"I think I understand what Happy meant about Kaito and that feeling, and he's right. For once." Panther Lily stated as he gave a sly grin.

Once Kaito was back on the ground another wizard tried to kill him via a dagger.

However something rather unexpected and strange happened.

Kaito blocked it with his left arm but said arm was covered in metal. No IRON scales, just like one of Gajeel's dragon slayer spells.

Many were shocked at this and Kaito's reaction was an annoyed sigh.

"Seriously? I was kinda hoping not to use any of the other three. Oh well that's just luck for ya." Kaito said in a playful but annoyed tone, as if he was only using a fraction of his power.

Nearly all of the dark wizards either ran scared of the teen or just fainted with terror.

The wizard with the dagger just stood where he was. But once Kaito grabbed his collar he knew his fate was at the slayer's fingertips.

"So ya mind telling me?" Kaito asked in a calm voice but had hints of anger in his words.

The dark wizard has a look of fear etched on his face, along with his nose dribbling snot down his face.

"Oh for the love of— Tell me why you attacked them, and it better be the truth." Kaito hissed as he started to loose his cool.

"Ok I'll talk, I'll talk just don't kill me." He pleaded, worried that Kaito was going to kill him on the spot without remorse.

"We are Lady Morgana's followers. We've been sent to retrieve the magic from that blue cat."

"What magic? What do you mean?" Carla asked as she and Lily made their way to the teen.

"I suggest you answer." Lily says reminding the dark wizard of his current situation.

"The blue Exceed got some ancient magic hidden within him. Magic so strong that it can either bring an end to Morgana or the world."

"We were planning on removing the magic from that furball and give it to her as a way to live in her new world."

After hearing those words Kaito was fed up with the dark wizard and released his grip. "I suggest you start running before I decide to do something that I regret." Kaito said in a merciless voice. This caused the wizard to runaway but before he was out of sight he decided to taunt the group.

"It doesn't matter what you say, we got what we came for." He said as he disappeared.

It took a second to go over what the dark wizard said and once they did the trio had a look of fear.

"Wait…"

"W-W-where's Happy?" Carla shouted with concern in her words. (She actually sounded a lot more worried than she was supposed to be).

"There!" Lily shouted as he pointed to the back.

As the other two turned around they saw the blue Exceed in a small cage with a handle on the top.

The cage was in the hands of another dark wizard who's face was hidden behind a dark green mask with a long nose and keyholes for eyes.

"Key, key, key. Now that this feline is under lock and key, Morgana will reward me handsome-key." He said with a creepy chuckle and started to laugh like a madman.

He then started to run to get away.

"Oh no you don't." Kaito said as he planted both of his feet in the ground before he cast a spell.

"Solid Script: Bind!"

Using his finger he wrote the word "Bind" in the air and threw the word at the dark wizard.

The word did as it said, it wrapped around him and bound his body to the ground.

Now Kaito was ready for the finishing blow.

He breathed in his nose as magic entered his mouth. The exceeds all knew what spell/attack was coming and got prepared.

"AURA DRAGON RRRROOOOOAAAAARRRRR!!!" Kaito screamed as he fired a blast of energy like magic from his mouth. The beam hit the wizard and sent him flying to who knows where.

While the cage broke and Happy was free.

The two exceeds asked if he was alright to which he responded with his signature catchphrase. "Aye sir!" Happy said as he confirmed that he was ok.

Before anyone could say another word a strange light was resonating behind them.

As they turned to see where it was coming from they were shocked.

The light was coming from Kaito who was shrinking to the size and shape of an exceed, what's more he grew a tail and whiskers.

Once the light had vanished the trio were speechless beyond believe.

Standing before them was a yellow exceed with brown fur here and there.

Kaito's clothes and goggles.

But the cherry on top, The exceed looked like a near perfect copy of Happy.

"Kaito just who or what are you?" They all said as they made their way to him.
