Chapter 3 – Good wolves and bad wolves
POV Legoshi
After I had parked my inexpensive undercover car next to the fancy one I only used for red-carpet events, crossed my garage towards the stairs and walked up to the ground level, put my shoes onto the little shelf in the hallway and went for the living room first of all.
I already spotted Juno´s feet lazily hanging over the edge of the couch, it seemed like she was pretty exhausted from her day as well. Luckily, the couch was big enough so I could throw myself onto it with my full length as well and even stretch myself all I wanted without my feet hanging off. I liked this big and bright living room, having this much space really was a blessing.
I turned towards the other wolf and she smiled happily.
"You´re home early today" she commented in positive surprise, "I thought it would be dark by the time you arrived."
I just smiled back as an answer, then I closed my tired eyes for a little moment. Those long car-rides really tired me out sometimes.
I heard her moving on the couch, a moment later I felt her coming closer towards and laying herself down right next to me.
She put one of her arms around me gently, then she started giggling a little bit.
"You´ve got red color on your neck" she explained her amusement, trying to rub it out with her fingers but probably failing to make any difference.
"It was much worse earlier" I chuckled, "I showered for minutes but couldn´t get it all out."
She kept trying to get it out a little longer, then she let go of my fur again.
"They´re being serious with their make-up, aren't they?" she asked.
"It´s still a quite brutal role" I shrugged my shoulders, "Not getting any less bloody since the first movie."
"I figured" she chuckled, "Not messing around your guy."
I shook my head with a little smile at her, not feeling the need to talk about work related things any longer though.
I listened into the house, trying to figure out if Leon was home from school yet or if he still was at rehearsals. There were no noises to be heard from the top floor, the whole house was quiet.
"He´s not home tonight?"
She just shrugged her shoulders with a light-hearted little smile, then she picked up her phone from the couch table.
"Seems like he´s staying in his dorm…" she said with a shrug of her shoulders, "…he sent me a message just 10 minutes ago."
"Oh."
She showed me the message on her phone and it just said, "Don't wait up for me with dinner. Gonna stay at school tonight."
I just looked at her after reading it, trying to find out about her view on this.
"I´m glad he spends time with his friends to be honest…" she commented, "It´s about time."
"Yeah, you´re right" I agreed with a little smile. I was glad she was thinking like that too, even though he couldn´t join us for dinner tonight.
"You´ll be here until Thursday, right?" she now asked with an excited smile.
I nodded affirmingly. "But I wanted to get dinner with you guys tonight, I already called the restaurant."
She knew I wasn´t totally disappointed I wouldn't see Leon tonight, but she seemed to like that Idea nevertheless, her face brightened up even a little more. "Still wanna go? We could ask Haru if she wants to join us instead…"
I immediately liked that idea. I wanted to know how she was doing as well, this had been long overdue anyway. I missed her in my life since she had moved out. I often had it on my mind that I wanted to see her more often than we did these days.
"When´s the reservation?" Juno asked, still having her phone in her hands.
"7PM."
"Alrighty! I´ll tell her!" she beamed, typing away on her phone.
The reply came in almost immediately, it seemed to be looking good for our plans. She quickly typed and sent one more message, then she looked me in the eyes again.
"We have half an hour" she grinned contentedly, then she tossed her phone onto the other half of the couch.
I couldn´t help but grin at her horny attitude. It´s been a while since we´ve had the house all to ourselves, and it seemed like she wanted to make every minute count.
"Well, technically we have all night…" I commented in amusement when she already started lifting up my white T-shirt teasingly.
"I don't mind a little teaser" she said with a dirty grin, "What about you, hotshot?"
I just grinned back at her as an answer, pushing her onto her back and climbing on top of her with that.
"I never mind your little teasers" I growled with a little smirk, pinning her shoulders down from above, "…as long as it helps you to behave at the restaurant later."
"Oh I always behave" she waved it off with an innocent smile, "I promise I´ll be a good girl tonight."
I smiled back contentedly, then I kissed her from above.
"You think Haru will stay the night with us too?" she giggled with a horny smirk.
"It´s been quite a while since we´ve had the house all to ourselves, hasn´t it?" I asked.
I just couldn't hide a little grin about that suggestion, I wasn´t all that turned off by the thought either.
She now kissed me back happily, obviously enjoying our horny and light-hearted spirit right now. She teasingly grinded one of her legs against my groin, I could feel more blood flowing into that direction as well.
"Horny wolf" I told her with an amused little smile.
She smiled back and wordlessly began undoing my shirt again.
POV Haru
I was glad they asked me out for dinner tonight. The cake from the buffet Juno had brought me by surprise earlier had helped against the hunger a little bit, but I surely wouldn´t have gone to bed happily without a real meal tonight. And I wasn´t really in the mood for cooking something myself this evening.
It was a little bit of a bummer that Leon couldn't join us as well, but I couldn´t say no to a dinner with my other two favorites wolves either.
I asked Juno in the chat if they would be waiting in front of the entrance for me or not, but then she didn´t answer her phone anymore for quite a little while. She probably took a shower before dinner or something like that. It wasn´t the most important thing to know after all.
The restaurant was just a few hundred meters away from my little flower shop and the flat above I lived in, so leaving the house ten minutes before our reservation would easily suffice.
I still had enough time to quickly go shopping for groceries and do a bit of housework before I had to get myself ready.
I was really looking forward to our dinner, it´s been a little while since I had seen the movie-star wolf in the meanwhile, I still missed the humble man I´ve gotten to know in Highschool whenever he wasn´t around. It was always so nice to see him again.
POV Lucy
After today´s rehearsals, I just had time to quickly copy my roommate´s homework, take a quick shower and adequately dress myself before my shift started.
The restaurant was fully packed with guests, one of the cooks was ill and I already knew this would become a long evening.
Still, I was grateful for being allowed to work here. The owner paid me about the same as the grocery shop I used to stock the shelves in earlier, but here I also got to keep the tips, and that made a huge difference. Working just three shifts a week here made it able for me to afford two full meals a day at the cafeteria, all the books I needed to buy and I even got some money left I could put into my savings account from time to time.
The restaurant also was a lot closer to the Cherryton Highschool and the dorm I belonged to, and on top of that, I usually really enjoyed my job as a waitress. Usually.
"Welcome to ´La Trattoria Roma´, how are doing?" I greeted the middle-aged couple of elks sitting at the table I just stopped at, "My name is Lucy, I´ll be your server today. Can I start you off with a round of drinks?"
I tried to act as cheerful and sympathetic as possible, but in reality, I hated everything and everyone right now.
I put their order into the touch-screen of the electric device, making sure I had the right table selected, told them it wouldn´t take long and turned around again. My smile faded away the moment they couldn´t see my face anymore.
I took a look around the room, most guests had drinks or food on their tables already.
The entrance door got opened from the outside and two more guests arrived.
"And of course, it´s grey wolves" I cursed in my head, "…as if I didn´t have had enough of those for today already."
The colleague taking care of the new arrivals greeted them and brought them to their table, I went back to the bar rather than heading their way first.
Mia had already prepared the drinks the two elks had ordered, the middle-aged saluki actually already handed me the tray when I arrived. It seemed like she was even more ambitious than usual today.
I took it, went back to where I just came from and served the couple their wine, leaving the bottle at their table as well.
Having returned the tray to the bar, Mia already pointed out the new arrivals on table 4 for me.
"Come on, girly" she smiled, "Don't keep these good people waiting."
"Yeah, yeah" I sighed, swallowing my other issues down yet once again, "On my way."
POV Leon
"Oh hey" Mark greeted me when I entered the dorm, sounding slightly surprised, "You´re here!"
I shrugged my shoulders with a little smirk, throwing my stuff onto my matrass.
"You said there would be a lasagna" I explained, forcing a little smirk, "I don't want to see my parents tonight and I like lasagna."
That comment made him grin a little bit.
"What´s wrong with your parents?" he asked with a chuckle, "They annoying you?"
The other guys from my dorm now looked over towards me as well.
"Well…kinda" I said, not wanting to tell them any specific reason right now.
"Oh I get that" Gerard the striped Jackal joined the conversation with a somewhat flamboyant motion of his hands, "I don't know why, but they´re acting totally weird sometimes."
"Seriously!" Julian agreed as well, "They´re really going on my nerves lately. Telling me to shower more often and focus more on school and junk…"
The side striped Jackal now went over to the fitness-obsessed red fox and took an experimental sniff.
There was no doubt about it really, his stench had spread across the entire room already, I was pretty sure he was still wearing the same shirt for his workout as he did last week.
"You know" Gerard told them with a grin, "They might have a point about those showers…"
"Oh get lost, princess" the fox chuckled, "That´s the smell of gains!"
Mark just shook his head in amusement.
"What about you, Ronnie-boy?" Gerard then asked the quiet whippet dog from the sports club, "Your parents acting weird as well?"
"I…" he said lowly, "…I think it might be us who are acting weird. I think it´s pretty normal for our age."
I found that a slightly weird statement at first, but when thinking about it twice I figured this could actually be a possibility as well. I believed I´d heard something like that before already, the teenage years are supposed to be the most confusing to a lot of people.
It didn´t seem too interesting of a topic right now though.
"Is the lasagna ready soon or what?" Yuma the Dingo asked from the top bunk of the bed he shared with Julian, still having his tablet and his drawing touch-pen in his hands, "I´m starving!"
Mark now looked at the timer he had set on his phone and nodded. "It´s in the oven already, it takes just a few more minutes."
"We still need to set the tables" Julian reminded him, getting up from his matrass now and walking towards the door.
"Right" he agreed, following him out of the room with that, "Guys, be in the kitchen in the next few minutes, dinner will be ready soon!"
POV Lucy
I put on my professional, upbeat attitude and greeted them just like I had been instructed to when I started working here two weeks ago.
"Welcome to ´La Trattoria Roma´, how are you doing? My name is Lucy, I´ll be your server today! Can I get you anything to drink?"
The male wolf looked at his company first of all, like a gentleman letting them order first, probably not having decided for himself yet though. I just noticed the two wolves had been joined by a white furred rabbit lady in the meanwhile. It looked slightly odd for her to sit at the same table with two wolves, but she seemed to be neither afraid, nor uncomfortable around them.
"Can we have a bottle of Sake, please" the pretty brown furred grey wolf lady said with a little smile, pointing at her choice on the menu. Her voice sounded sweet and friendly, it suited her.
The white furred rabbit joined in on that order by nodding in agreement.
Their male company on the other hand didn´t seem all that decided yet, his face was still in the drink´s-menu, but then he closed it and placed it on the table before him.
"I´ll take the same for now" he told me in a sympathetic manner, "Oh, and could you bring us a bottle of water too, please?"
"O-of course!" I said with a little nod, feeling very flustered all of a sudden.
I just had noticed why he looked so strangely familiar. I immediately took a closer look to get absolutely sure, I was not able to stop myself from staring.
He looked just like my favorite actor of all time. Like the guy from the pictures in the drama club hallway, like the guy who made me join the Cherryton Highschool in the first place. I just stalled in my actions for a moment there. My heart began pounding really fast and my tail started waving a little bit as well.
POV Juno
"Oh my god, I´m so sorry!" the maned wolf girl stuttered, not at all being able to hide her excitement anymore, "This is so…so cool!"
"There is nothing to be sorry for…" Legoshi told her with a warm little smile, "You´ve been very nice to us."
"Yes, darling" Haru told her with a little giggle, "This big dumb wolf is nobody to be afraid of."
"I…I never knew you still lived here" it almost burst out of her now, clearly unable to hide her excitement.
I couldn´t help but smile about that a little bit. Sometimes I couldn´t quite believe that myself, we´ve never even thought of moving anywhere else.
But what got me even more curious now was how she knew Legoshi was from here in the first place. She must be quite a fan if she knew that much about him.
"It´s a nice city" he told her with a shrug of his shoulders and a little smile, "I never saw any reason to leave."
It seemed like she had totally forgotten about her actual job at this point.
"You…you inspired me so much! I saw the pictures of your first shows at the Cherryton Highschool in the hallway of our drama-club just the other day! I…I want to become an actor as well…"
That explained things a little bit. It was quite common for Legoshi and even for me to get recognized by a bunch of people wherever we went, but now that Leon had joined the drama-club as well, this actually was some very interesting info right now.
"Oh that´s awesome" Lego told her excitedly, "Is Sanu still there? He must have retired in the meanwhile, right?"
"N-no, he´s still there…" she affirmed while shaking her head, "He told us quite a lot about you actually…"
Not really knowing what to do with that information either, Legoshi just gave her another little smile for that comment.
Lucy now shortly took a look around, apparently having noticed that she had other tables to wait as well and that she had spent a lot of time here already.
"O-oh, I´m so sorry…" she said, "I need to get back to work…I´ll be back with your drinks in just a second!"
"Don't worry your pretty little head" I told her with a warm, motherly chuckle, "We´re in no rush here."
I liked this young woman. She reminded me a little bit of myself when I was at that age, but I also liked how honest and straight forward she was, even though she just met one of her biggest idols.
"T-thank you so much!" she said, "Be right back!"
We silently watched her getting back towards the kitchen, then I couldn´t hide my excitement anymore either.
"Oh there is something new you learn every day, isn´t there?" I asked Legoshi while our waitress picked up more drinks from the bar.
"Sanu is still at it?" he wondered with a little chuckle, "Must be one of his very last years before retirement then…"
"I think she meant the maned wolf girl who´s in the same club as your son, dummy" Haru grinned at him.
He nodded with an understanding little grin.
"Wait…" I said as something suddenly came to my mind, "…do you think she knows he´s our son?"
"I´m pretty sure she would have already mentioned it already if she did" Haru mentioned with a little giggle.
"Yeah, probably" I agreed with her way of thinking, "Leon is probably trying to keep it a secret."
Legoshi nodded in agreement, it was pretty clear he was thinking like that too.
"Not sure this is going to work out for very long…" Haru said, "Somebody is gonna figure it out sooner or later."
Legoshi actually seemed a little bit conflicted about this I just noticed. I´ve had this thought on my mind too though, maybe trying to keep it a secret would work out best for him right now.
"I´m afraid other pupils might bully him because of it" Legoshi told us lowly, "Greed and jealousy can turn people quite cruel after all."
"Yeah…" I agreed with him, "…maybe we should talk to him about that when we get the chance."
Legoshi nodded affirmingly.
"That´s pretty much why I wanted to go out for dinner tonight" he now revealed the true reason, "…but I´m glad he´s finally spending some more time with his dormmates tonight."
I nodded understandingly, then I took another look around the room. Our waitress was at the bar right now, picking up quite a large tray with various different drinks on it.
"…you think he´ll tell us about her?" I asked Haru with a chummy little nudge.
"She´s pretty, isn´t she?" the white bunny asked back with a little smirk.
"You´re pretty, flower-girl!" I told her playfully.
"Oh shush" she chuckled, pushing my hand away when I pinched her cheeks lightly, "Keep it in your pants, okay?"
"What do you mean?" I asked her teasingly, "You began to like that just now, didn´t you fluff-butt?"
While we bantered and laughed, Legoshi concentratedly studied the menu we had laying on our table, even though he should know it pretty much all by heart in the meanwhile. He always liked to try the specials of the day, today that didn´t seem to be very different.
I knew what I wanted already, I´ve known it ever since I knew we would be eating here tonight. Haru had made her decision as well already as it seemed like.
Lucy had the tray with our drink-orders in her hands in the meanwhile, she already was on her way back towards us again.
"Here you go" she said as she served us the Sake and the water we ordered, "I hope it´s to your liking."
"Thank you" Haru told her, "I´m sure it´s great!"
Legoshi smiled at her, then he quickly looked into the menu once more.
"H-have you found something you´d like to eat in the meanwhile?"
I took a short look at Haru, she nodded.
"Yeah" I told her light-heartedly, "I´ll take a shrimp-fettucine please. Assuming it´s fresh…"
"Freshly caught today" she assured with a confident nod.
I smiled contentedly.
"For me a small vegetable-pizza please" Haru ordered next.
Legoshi still read through the specials of today, it seemed like he was still not quite decided.
"You need a number again" I asked him with an amused chuckle. He always had a hard time deciding when he was here.
He nodded with a little smile.
"How many options?"
"Three" he said lowly, looking at Lucy with a little smirk, "There are always so many good things to try here."
She nodded with a slightly nervous but friendly smile.
"Take number two" Haru told him with a dryly chuckle, "Come on Legoshi, I´m hungry."
He nodded understandingly, closing the menu now and handing it over to our waitress.
"I´ll try the Lasagna please" he told her, "Thank you very much!"
POV Leon
"Damn, this is good!" I told them in genuine surprise after I had tried the first bite, "Did you really cook that all on your own? I mean…here?"
"Yeah" Mark chuckled, "Where else could we have cooked it? Julian´s sock-drawer?"
"I mean…" I told them with a little shrug of my shoulders, "I never knew there was this much kitchen equipment here."
"It is a little difficult here" Julian said with a full mouth, "…and I had to borrow the baking tray from the girl´s dorm´s kitchen…but the end result is not that bad, is it?"
We all nodded in total agreement.
I really enjoyed what I had on my plate right now. There was a lot of cheese, it was nicely spiced and I didn't even care about all the ´healthy´ vegetables they had added to the mix. It was just what I needed after a long day like today and surely a lot better than anything we had in the freezer at home.
"You borrowed things from the girl´s dorms" Gerard asked him in slight surprise.
The fox nodded with a shrug of his shoulders, quickly stuffing his face with more of the tasty mess on his plate.
"…why do they get stuff like that and we don't?"
"They borrow stuff from us as well from time to time" Mark told him with a shrug of his shoulders.
I swallowed what I had in my mouth right now and nodded a little.
"…I sometimes get the feeling this school has seen some better days before" I told them, "The locker I got in the drama-club is so bent it won´t even close properly anymore."
"The ones in the gym don't look much better" Julian commented to that, "Some of them can´t even be locked anymore."
"Come on, guys" Gerard now spoke up with an amused chuckle, "Could be worse after all. At home I have to share a bed with one of my siblings, at least here I have my own bed."
"How many siblings did you say you have again" Mark asked with an interested smirk.
"Me and my parents included we are seven" the jackal explained.
"Wow…" Yuma said, "Must be a drag."
"It´s not too bad" he said with a shrug of his shoulders, "At least you´re never alone."
Yuma now grinned a little bit. "But…but how do you even watch porn then when you can never be alone?"
"You´re only asking the really important questions, aren't you?" Mark grinned at him.
Gerard just shook his head in an overacted way about that question, but he had a little smile on his face nevertheless.
"We don't even have access to a computer. I need to use my phone for literally everything."
I didn´t know why, but I couldn't keep an entirely straight face about that conversation either.
This topic was just too relatable, even though I had access to a computer.
Sadly, Mark caught me shedding that little smirk and immediately used that moment to include me into the conversation.
"That´s why you´re going home every night!" he said with a big grin while rattling my shoulders, "…you´re watching porn all night!"
They all looked at me with big amused grins now.
"You caught me…" I acted with an ironic little sigh.
"I knew it" Julian commented with a big grin, "It´s not just Yuma farting all the time!"
"Hey…" the Dingo complained with a self-ironic chuckle, "As if you guys are so much better…"
While the conversation went on, I already eyed the last two pieces of Lasagna in the baking-tray. We´ve all cleared our plates by now, but it tasted nice and I could easily go for another piece.
"You guys are not hungry anymore, are you?" Mark asked us with a big grin, shamelessly grabbing the spatula before anyone else could, "Good, because the rest is mine."
"Hey" Julian complained with an ironic grin, "You wish!"
"I´d do the cleanup if I get another piece" Gerard offered with a shameless grin. "I think that´s fair!"
"You guys are gonna do the cleanup anyway" Julian told him with an unforgiving shake of his head, "We already did the cooking..."
POV Lucy
"Oh my god, what is he doing here?"
I still hadn´t managed to get my breathing all under control just yet. My heart was still racing and I had a really tough time to hide my tail from dancing around behind me.
"They´re here for dinner every now and then" Mia told me, sounding rather casual about it for some reason, "He´s a nice guy and really down to earth."
"Do you even know how famous he is?"
"Oh I know alright" the middle-aged saluki dog chuckled back at me, "…and I´ve seen him getting asked about autographs by other guests quite a few times as well."
My heartbeat sped up even a little more when I heard that. "Did…did they get them?"
"Yeah" she affirmed with a contented smile at my reaction, "Never seen him letting anyone down so far."
Ever since I served them their food, I couldn´t help but stared at them. He just looked so casual being here, like he was not one of the most loved and most respected actors to ever exist.
He just wore some dark blue jeans and a plain white T-Shirt, but it somehow suited him just as well as the stuff he wore in TV interviews or in the movies he played in. It didn't even look like expensive designer brands, he could have just blended in with every other casually dressed guest here.
The brown furred wolfess on the other hand seemed to be a little more thorough with her wardrobe tonight. The pretty, light-purple summer dress she wore suited her very well too, the light make-up on her face looked professionally done and striking, but still somewhat classy as well.
Ever since I knew it really was Legoshi, I had been asking myself if she really was the girl he used to play with on stage back when he was in Highschool.
The fur and ears matched hers on the photos in the hallway, I was pretty certain it indeed was Juno, even though I had never expected them to still go out together after all this time.
"Wait…" it just came to me then, "She looked really interested in that topic too when we talked about Sanu earlier! It must be her!"
She looked really pretty. I thought she looked pretty in the pictures in the drama-club hallway as well, but my gaze still rather went over to Legoshi whenever I had a quiet moment.
He was just so handsome and interesting.
I noticed he had a stripe of something weirdly red looking going down one side of his neck, it looked like some sort of fur-color I believed at first, but then I suddenly had a brain wave.
"Maybe it´s fake blood from a film-shoot!"
I´ve heard that stuff was difficult to completely wash out of one´s fur, maybe he had that struggle as well right now. He didn´t seem too bothered about it though, I figured because most people knew him and what he did anyway.
"You think that´s from shooting the new John Wick?" I asked my co-worker at the bar, "Maybe it´s fake blood!"
She was looking at him once more. "What you mean the red fur on his neck?"
I nodded.
"Yeah, maybe" she shrugged her shoulders, "…but I guess you´ll never know until you ask him."
"Yeah right."
"Go for it" she told me with a little chuckle, looking serious about it though, "He´s a really nice and approachable fellow. You´ll probably regret it later if you don't ask him now."
I took a short look behind me as the cooks put down more plates of food that were ready to be served.
"That´s their order, isn´t it?" Mia asked me with a little smirk.
I nodded.
"Let´s get it out before it gets cold" she told me with a little wink, "Don't keep them waiting! They´re just hungry customers as well after all."
POV Leon
"Damn can you take a shower already?" Gerard asked him again, "Stinky fox."
The red fox in the blue and green faded muscle-shirt had just planted himself down onto the floor next to us and made himself comfortable, but the flamboyant jackal did have somewhat of a point here.
I hadn't showered after rehearsals either, but he still smelled even worse than my armpits did right now.
"Come on, it´s really not that bad, is it?"
"It´s really bad" Mark told him with a chummy smirk, "We´ll wait for you before we start the movie."
The hyena seemed to be the only one he really listened to, but those two knew each other way before they came to this school already. They even lived in the same village I believed.
"Ugh fine" Julian complained loudly, getting up from the floor again. He lightly slapped Gerard in the face with his fluffy tail during that maneuver, it somewhat looked like he did it on purpose.
"Hey" the jackal complained with a chuckle.
"Figured you might like that" the fox grinned at him ironically.
Gerard just ironically shook his head about his insolence.
"Come on, Jules" Mark told him, already browsing the Petflix account he had connected to the projector he had borrowed from somewhere, "Don't keep us waiting until tomorrow, okay?"
"Yeah!" Yuma told him with a dirty cackle, looking up from his tablet for the first time now, "And get rid of that smelly shirt, will you?"
"Oh shut up" Julian told him, now pulling the shirt over his head and tossing it onto the dingo for that comment, "Here, have some of that."
"Ugh" he yelled in disgust, chucking the sweaty piece of cloth into a random corner of the room.
"Dick!"
"Now I get it" the fox chuckled teasingly, turning around once again while being on his way towards the bathroom, "You just wanted me to get my shirt off."
Even though I really didn't want to stare at him right now, that was exactly what I was doing. What I saw really shocked me a little bit.
I had always thought I was not too bad in shape myself, at least I had been one of the fastest runners in sports club, but this guy was just ripped. His whole fitness-, gains- and protein-talking was not just hot air as it turned out, his muscles looked well-defined and strong. He must have been working out today as well, pretty much like every other day of the week. Even a definitive six-pack was to be seen through the white fur on his stomach.
The others were staring at him as well I just noticed, making me feel at least a little better about it.
"Freaking show off" Yuma just grumbled at him, shaking his head a little bit while his gaze went back towards his drawing again.
The fox just smirked in amusement, then he went into the bathroom and closed the door behind him.
"Is this what I have to look like when I want to be more popular with girls?"
I asked myself, honestly feeling a little jealous right now.
"Is this why I´m still a virgin at sixteen years old?"
I really was a little bit concerned about that right now. In order not to look weird in front of the others, I shook my head a little bit as well, hoping somebody would change the topic rather soon.
"The guy is serious about his workout" Mark chuckled light-heartedly now, "Gotta give him that. Even if he smells bad sometimes."
Just like Ronnie and Yuma I simply shrugged my shoulders about that a little, hoping to look rather unbothered and cool about it instead of intrigued and jealous.
Gerard on the other hand wasn´t as uneasy about it though.
"Oh I bet Ronnie is not looking too bad either if he takes his shirt off" the jackal now told him teasingly, nudging him a little bit, "Running around the rubber track all day long…I bet the girls look after you every time you pass them…"
"Oh come on…" the quiet whippet sighed, not enjoying this topic very much in general as it seemed like, "…it´s not like that."
I was still thinking about what I just had seen when that fox took his shirt off.
"Is Julian still a virgin? He must be hanging out with girls a lot if he´s looking like that."
I just remembered that he really was acting like a dick sometimes though, being a little cocky or ironically insulting people from time to time. He also wasn´t shy of bragging with his muscles. Is it true that girls like guys who act like assholes? Was he just the perfect example for it?
"Is Julian acting like an asshole though?" it now came to me, "At least he took care of dinner with Mark this evening. And they didn´t even ask us to pay a share for the cost of the ingredients they used. They just seemed so light-hearted and unbothered about everything."
Somehow, all this seemed so unfair right now. Their lives looked so easy compared to mine. They just lived their lives here, no parents to impress, no expectations, no legacy to live up to. And apparently, he even found the time to go to the gym all day long.
While the fox turned on the shower in the bathroom, a moment of silence among us finally slowed things now a little bit. That guard I´ve been keeping up all evening, staying on somewhat of a distance to all of them, now relaxed a little bit as there was one less in the room now. It seemed like Julian indeed was the one from our dorm I was the most uneasy around.
"Are you…" Ronnie then asked me rather directly all over sudden, "…are you gonna come back to the sports club after all?"
I first looked at him, then I shook my head slowly.
"…but you were one of the fastest during running-tryouts" he mentioned the obvious.
It really seemed like running was the only true purpose of his life sometimes.
"I´m trying with the drama-club now…" I told him with a little sigh, "It might be interesting after all."
"Drama club?" Gerard asked with great interest all over sudden, "Really?"
I nodded.
"By the way" Mark picked up that topic, "How has your rehearsals been today?"
I had anticipated this to come, but I really struggled with myself right now of I should really tell them anything about that or not. It could be somewhat of an uncomfortable topic, but I also kinda had the feeling they didn´t think very highly of me for that very reason. Because I never shared anything about my life. Maybe it was not so bad to open up to them a little bit.
"It could honestly be kind of fun" I told them lowly, "But it´s also a lot of work."
"Well…what did you expect?" Yuma asked dryly, "Everything great is a lot of work…no matter what you do."
I now inhaled very deep- and slowly, trying my best to ignore that comment.
"I was aware it would be a lot of work" I said with a little sigh, "And I´ve been working with actors already…"
"Buuut…?" Mark wanted to know, as I had left a little pause there.
"But this one girl who I´m supposed to play with…she´s very…complicated."
"Complicated" Gerard asked while raising an eyebrow.
The fox in the bathroom had turned off the water of the shower in the meanwhile, the silence right now was a little uncomfortable.
"She doesn´t want to play the roles with me" I sighed, "She really doesn't like me for some reason."
"Because you just joined the club?" Mark wanted to know, seemingly a little confused about it as well.
I just shrugged my shoulders as I couldn´t really answer him that either.
"Come on!" Gerard told me now, apparently interested in that topic as well, "You need to spare a few more details if you want us to help you! Who is the girl? Which roles are you playing? Is she afraid of you because you´re a wolf maybe?"
I felt a little overrun by that sudden flood of questions, it didn´t quite make sense to me why he went down on me like that all over sudden.
"Maybe I don't even want all of you to help me?!" I thought in my head in that moment, now truly feeling a little annoyed that this topic was brought up in the first place.
But weirdly, I didn´t find any good reason not to tell them about it either. The look Mark gave me pretty much said the same thing: "Don't be such a prude."
"Her name is Lucy" I told them with a little sigh, just as Julian opened the door of the bathroom again, "And she got the role of Juliet."
The fox just had a towel around his waist right now, apparently feeling the need to flex with his muscles in front of us even more.
"What ´Romeo and Juliet`?" Gerard wanted to know, sounding very surprised about what I said.
I nodded slowly.
"I asked her why she was taking herself so serious all the time, even during rehearsals…" I told them lowly, shamefully tilting my head a little bit, "…and then she slapped me in the face."
POV Julian
"Wait, you mean Lucy the maned wolf?" I asked in slight surprise.
He looked at me for a short moment, then he nodded again. "You know her?"
Of course, I knew her. She was by far the hottest and most interesting girl in my class. I also knew that she had joined the drama club right at the start of this first school year, but I didn´t know Leon was there too.
"She´s in my class…" I explained, "She´s acting quite tough sometimes, but I think she´s nice. What´s your problem with her?"
"I have no problem with her" he said defensively, "…I just told her she shouldn't take herself so serious all the time."
"And she really hit you in the face just for that?" Mark asked in slight disbelief.
I couldn´t quite believe that either. I´ve talked to Lucy a couple of times before, I´ve never taken her for being bitchy like that. She didn´t seem to have a whole lot of interest in me, but then again, I haven't ever seen her showing interest in anybody before.
"…well, I might not have used those words exactly" the kid of the big superstar actor now told us lowly, "But she apparently took that much too serious as well."
There was a moment of confused silence now.
"…what did you say?" Yuma asked him the question Leon apparently didn´t want to answer out of his own motivation.
He took a short look around, then back down on the floor.
"I asked her if that stick hurts she apparently has up her ass."
"…ouch" Mark commented dryly.
"Oh shit!" I said at almost the same moment, feeling somewhat spiteful right now for some reason.
"Yeah" the wolf sighed now, shrugging his shoulders yet once again, "Probably not the nicest thing to say…"
Nobody seemed to care about selecting a movie to watch right now, this was way more interesting. I went towards my bed in the meanwhile and went in search of some boxers and a fresh T-shirt I could wear for the night.
"You can´t say that to a girl man" Yuma chuckled while shaking his head, "Word´s gonna spread across the whole school if you´re not careful with shit like that."
"…but I wasn´t serious about that!" Leon explained the obvious, "…how can she want to be an actress when she doesn´t understand even the tiniest bit of irony?"
"Well…maybe she didn´t perceive it as irony in that moment" Mark suggested, "You can never know how it sounds like to her."
"No idea…" he sighed, shaking his head a little bit, "…guess I really messed it up."
I still couldn´t quite wipe a tiny little grin from my face right now. I liked Lucy, I´ve talked to her a couple of times before and I thought she was quite chill, even though she could be a little bit of a spitfire sometimes. But what I liked even more was that she wasn´t just getting blinded by his money and the fame of his daddy, apparently.
This idiot of a wolf got all the stuff you need right from the start and still manages to make the girls not like him. It somewhat cheered me up right now.
"If she plays Juliet" Gerard now picked up their earlier topic again, "…does that mean you´re playing Romeo?"
He now nodded again, just shrugging his shoulders about it though.
"Of course! Of course, they just give a role like that to the superstar rich kid. Who would have thought? He probably doesn´t even have any talent for acting, they just took him for a lead role because daddy is a famous actor."
This guy really annoyed me in the meanwhile. He just shrugged it off like it was nothing, like nothing and nobody on this school lived up to any of his standards. He gets a lead role in the drama club right away and just shrugs his shoulders about it.
Romeo and Juliet on top of that, in which he would be making out with her on stage in front of the entire school.
I could now very well understand why Lucy was acting like that. This would piss me of just as much. If I was a girl, I would find this guy just so disgusting.
"…really?" Mark asked in great surprise now, "You just joined them last week and they already gave you a lead role?"
"Yeah…" he said with a little nod, "…I have a bit of experience with acting after all, maybe that´s because they wanted me on the actors team."
"Yeah…" I said while rolling my eyes, "Or maybe it´s because daddy is a famous actor?"
He gave me a very cold and angry glare for that comment, but I didn´t regret what I said. I wanted him to know what I thought of him.
"Come on" Mark told me, right away trying to calm the situation down a bit, "It´s not like he´s bragging about it all day long, is he?"
"Yeah, whatever" I waved it off while shaking my head in slight annoyance.
I now set about putting on my boxers underneath my towel and then pulled the fresh T-shirt over my head afterwards.
They had stopped staring at me now that I was wearing something over my torso again, and that left me with somewhat of a contented smirk. Mark was probably right: I was a little bit of a show-off sometimes. I enjoyed them staring in jealousy, but I thought that was alright after all the work I put into it.
Now that the attention wasn´t on me anymore though, I was left staring at that stupid wolf boy for some reason.
His muscles weren't as well defined as mine, not by any means, but he actually wasn´t in too bad of a shape either. He was tall, even for a wolf, and he had a strong physique. It was pretty clear he had his dad´s genes, there was no denying it.
Comparing him to Legoshi, who I really respected as an actor, not just for his talent but also for his humbleness and respect towards his fans, Leon´s ears where a little fluffier than his and his pupils were a little bigger. The over-all grey color of his fur was slightly more brown-ish than his dads, but other than that, they weren´t looking all that different from each other.
He was still wearing his school uniform right now, either because he didn´t have anything else here or he was too lazy to change into something else, but I just noticed that I´ve never actually seen him wear anything else but that school-uniform so far anyway.
Mark maybe had a point here as well. He wasn´t showing off with any expensive clothing or tech, he never talked about any exclusive events he´s been to. He didn´t talk a whole lot in general. How can he still be that much of an asshole then?
I now took a seat on my original spot the floor between Mark and Garard again, this time nobody was complaining about my smell anymore.
"Alright guys" the hyena now announced, showing us the choice of movies it appeared he had prepared for us while I was taking my shower, "What do you want to watch? `John Wick` or `The Matrix`?"
"Oh come on!" Leon complained with an ironic sigh and a shake of his head, "Really?"
"You´ve been on the filmset, right?" Mark asked him with an amused grin, "Maybe you can tell us how they did those stunts while we watch?"
"What, really?" Gerard now asked with great interest, "You´ve been on the set of John Wick?"
"I´ve only been there for a few scenes" he explained with a little sigh.
"What were you doing there?"
"Well…acting" he said dryly, as if it couldn´t be more obvious.
"No way!"
He just shrugged his shoulders with a humble little smile. "They needed extras for a few scenes. But I´m just in the background and it´s really just a few frames."
"Damn!"
"Bet I can find you" the now quite excited striped Jackal told him with a challenging smirk.
"Bet you can´t" Leon shook his head in amusement, "If you can spot me I´ll pay for your lunch tomorrow."
"Challenge accepted" Yuma went in on that bet as well.
The wolf nodded with an amused smirk, shrugging his shoulders as if he had nothing to lose. It seemed like he was pretty sure about winning his bet, that gamble was one he would easily take.
"Wow, how generous of you. You bet on a free lunch. Daddy probably gives you 100 000yen pocket money a month and you´re prepared to pay for a lunch if you lose a bet?! Mark and I paid for your dinner tonight anyways, how about you invite us to a fancy restaurant next time? Fucking cheapskate prick."
I still was left shaking my head about all that a little bit, but somehow, I was keen on finding him in the movie myself now.
I had seen the movie back when it was in the cinemas already, but I hadn´t paid attention to any background details back then of course. I didn´t even know he existed back then, we´ve joined Highschool just a few weeks ago after all.
"Bring it on" I thought to myself, "I´m gonna enjoy that free lunch if I should find you. Tastes even better if it´s paid for by somebody else."
POV Legoshi
This evening turned out to be a lot more interesting that I had anticipated it to be. Juno ordering something with Shrimp was rather predictable, she usually was even more sex-driven in the springtime, and she was not shy of hiding it.
But I decided to slow her down a little bit when she rested her feet on my knees under the table, I was pretty sure some people noticed her horny playfulness already.
Luckily, Haru then had the great idea of ordering some desserts and distract her with that a little longer.
They had quickly decided to share a Strawberry Tiramisu between themselves, I choose some vanilla ice-cream for myself. I took the responsibility of ordering it on me, I didn´t want the girls to order a second bottle of wine tonight. This had turned into quite a long dinner already anyway.
Juno was really excited for another reason as well this evening though. Ever since we found out Lucy was in the Cherryton drama-club as well, she just wouldn´t stop looking at the maned wolf girl whenever she was in sight.
"You think she´s playing Juliet?" she asked us lowly after she had brought us the desserts we ordered.
"You think they´re even playing Romeo and Juliet?" I asked back with a doubtful smirk and a shrug of my shoulders.
"Oh I can see Leon playing on stage with her…" she giggled shamelessly.
"You should probably slow down a bit" I chuckled, "Leon just joined them. I don´t assume Sanu gave him a lead role right away."
"Oh come on you killjoy" she grinned, "At least he´s been on a few film-sets before..."
I took a spoon of the whipped cream that was on top of my vanilla Ice-cream and tried it. It tasted nice and sweet and actually calmed my nerves a little bit right now.
"You really have to take care of this horny wolf later, Legoshi" Haru told me with a little smirk, nudging Juno with her elbow a little bit.
"Yeah…" I sighed with a little smirk towards her, "I know. I will."
"You promise?" Juno asked with big eyes and a mischievous grin.
"We have the house to ourselves" I reminded her with a little wink, "I´ll give you what you want…but only if you stop being horny here in the restaurant."
With that promise given, she seemed content for now. Not that she had any doubt about that earlier, but she just really enjoyed hearing it.
The minutes passed by, Juno and Haru shared the rest of the water bottle between them, my ice-cream had started melting a little before I was finished with it and I was too lazy to spoon up the very rest.
The place had gotten a little quieter in the meanwhile, the over-all mood was becoming a little more relaxed.
Two tables to our right, a family of Jaguars got ready to leave. They had just paid for their food and waved the waitress goodbye, now they tucked in the chairs back under the table and headed for the exit. After a bit of hesitation, the son of the two parents stopped in his tracks and looked towards us with a shy little smile. His dad patted him on the shoulders with an encouraging smirk, then he found the courage to come towards us.
I gave him a little smile when he arrived, as he still very obviously was a little shy of talking to me.
"Ex-excuse me, Mr. Legoshi, s-sir!" he stuttered.
"Hello" I greeted him with a friendly smile.
"I-I just wanted to say…I´m a huge fan of your movies! It´s…it´s such an honor to meet you!"
"The honor is all mine" I told him, patting his shoulders shortly, "It´s nice of you to say that!"
He now looked really glad he came towards me, he seemed a lot more relaxed already.
"I-I wanted to ask if I could maybe get a picture with you, please?"
"Yes of course you can" I told him with a little smile, getting up from my chair, "Since you asked so nicely."
Shortly after the young Jaguar was content with the pictures his dad took of the two of us, and he had left the restaurant with his family, our server Lucy joined us at our table again, collecting the empty plates of our desserts.
"Everything good?" she asked with a little smile.
"Very good" I told her with a contented nod, "Thank you!"
She surely must have noticed that my female company were still giggling and chatting like little school-girls from time to time, but her good etiquette helped her ignore it and she rather remained quite cheerful herself. I guessed her about sixteen or seventeen years old, and I thought she was acting really mature and professional for her age.
"Do you need anything else?" she asked, just before setting off towards the kitchen again, "A coffee or another drink maybe?"
I shook my head with a little smile. "Just the check, please! Thank you!"
She nodded understandingly and went on her way again.
"She´s so gonna ask you a for an autograph before we leave" Juno commented in amusement when she was out of earshot again, tilting her head a little bit to watch her just as she disappeared in the kitchen for a moment, "…and she´s sooo gonna search the web for nude pictures of you tonight!"
"Oh come on" I sighed with a shake of my head, "Don't be so mean!"
"I´m just saying" she grinned, rubbing one of her feet up and down my thighs under the table once again, "…not like I wouldn´t do that either."
"Give the poor girl some space" Haru told her with a little nudge, "You´re gonna have him for yourself all night."
"Oh but I want to have you all for myself tonight as well" Juno told her teasingly, "My little cuddle bunny."
"Ugh" Haru sighed ironically.
Lucy was on her way back towards us in the meanwhile. She had the check I requested with her and placed it on the table before me.
"Here you go" she told me with a slightly nervous little smile. It already seemed like she had something else on her mind than just the check right now, Juno probably wasn´t all that wrong about her earlier assumption.
I nodded with a little smile and examined the little leather booklet with the piece of paper quickly.
"C-can I ask?" she then suddenly began shyly, "The red color you have in the fur in your neck…"
I nodded with a curious little smile.
"Is that from a film-shoot?"
I took a very short glimpse at Juno right now, she seemed rather impressed Lucy guessed that correctly as well.
"Yes" I then told her with a little smirk, "That fake blood is really hard to completely wash out, sadly."
"Are you shooting the new John Wick already?" she asked with gleaming eyes.
"I guess I would be lying if I told you anything else" I chuckled lowly, putting a finger in front of my mouth with another little wink.
"Oh this is so cool!" she giggled excitedly, "I can´t wait for it to be released! I´m gonna be the first in the cinema line!"
I couldn´t help but smile at her happiness and enthusiasm. I liked it way more when people didn´t hide their emotions behind a professional façade or in fear I could get mad at them for some reason. I was glad she jumped over her shadow and asked me what that red color in my fur was.
"I know this might seem lame" she now told me shyly, "But would it be possible to get an autograph from you, please? …nobody is ever going to believe me!"
"Yeah, of course" I told her with a little nod.
Being well prepared for situations like these already, I pulled one of the specially made autograph-cards and a thick white pen from the left pocket of my pants. Conveniently, the picture shown on the frontside even was the movie poster of the last John Wick movie. I signed it with my autograph quickly, gave the paint a second to dry and then handed it over to her with a little smile.
"Oh…oh my god!" she said excitedly, her tail starting to wag even a little more when she received the card, "Thank you so much! You´re so kind!"
I nodded with another friendly smile at her, then I searched for my wallet to pay for all the food and drinks we´ve had tonight.
The check was just a little over 12000yen, which I still thought was fairly moderate for all the stuff we had ordered. It was not the most expensive restaurant in town, but I still really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service here.
As I didn´t have a whole lot of other yen bills in my wallet right now, I pulled out two 10000yen bills and put them on the table next to the check.
Lucy already reached out for her waiter´s wallet to give me the change, but I stopped her with a motion of my hands and a little smile. I was aware that tip was a little much, but I didn´t want to bother with the change and I figured she earned it for all her hard work here. I sometimes wished Leon was this productive after a school day.
"O-oh that´s very kind of you…" she stuttered in slight disbelief, "…b-but that´s way too much! I-I can´t possibly accept-"
"Don't you worry about it, honey" Juno told her with a big grin and a little giggle. She rubbed two of her fingers together referencing money, and I sadly couldn´t stop her in time, "…being a famous actor has it´s benefits too sometimes…"
I kicked her shins with one of my feet lightly, hoping to shush her with that at least a little bit. It appeared it was her favorite hobby to embarrass me in public.
Lucy couldn´t hide a little giggle about that either, but I wasn´t mad at her of course. I just shook my head with an ironic little sigh.
Then I smiled at her again.
"It´s really no problem, Lucy" I told her, "We´ve had a very nice evening! Thank you for your great service!"
Me remembering her name left her with a really proud and excited smile on her face, she wasn´t even trying to hide her happiness.
"T-thank you so much!" she stuttered while collecting the check-book and the money the table.
Her tail was swinging behind her, it seemed like she was on cloud nine right now. Just for seeing someone being so happy, I thought that big tip was easily worth it.
"Have a nice evening Sweetheart" Haru told her with a friendly smile while already getting off of her chair, Juno waved her shortly as well.
"Y-you too" she said, somewhat hastily now as she still was really flattered, "Have a good evening!"

As I walked back into my dormitory building, it was 11:35PM. I didn't have any problems getting out of work and I was leaving with nearly 15000yen in my wallet. I couldn't stop smiling. I had been so close to him and he was just as kind as I always imagined. Despite me being a total geek, he was sweet and gave me a huge tip. I let out a little yawn as the elevator came to me.
"Maybe, I can skip tomorrow's literature reading and look over the new script."
My mind finally returned to earlier. Had I really slapped that jerk of a wolf? I would have to see him tomorrow and who knew what that would entail. I wasn't sure why my thoughts had fluttered to Leon. Perhaps it was to involuntarily compare him to Legoshi. The tall stoic celebrity was literally everything my bratty costar wasn't.
Sanu had completely redesigned the production around that burnout wolf and no one cared. Despite us working for a full week on Adler and me personally staying up for hours just to recite my lines. After which, he had the nerve to tell me that I had a stick up my ass just because I wasn't enthusiastic about the switch. He didn't know anything about me. He didn't know that I spent every waking moment either studying, training or working.
I yawned and regained my composure. I figured after doing a little homework, I would hopefully be asleep by one. Getting six or seven hours of sleep would make me extremely grateful and hopefully energize me enough for the next day.
I had managed to get my math homework copied from a roommate, hopefully I could do the same for my biology assignment.
I stepped into the elevator car and my thoughts returned to the celebrity wolf. He seemed so suave, and the way that the female rabbit and wolf were embracing him left little to the imagination. I felt my cheeks warm up at the thought of what tonight had in store for them.
"Yeesh, calm down you horny spaz…" I muttered to myself.
The door opened and I made my way to my room. I rubbed my head and felt the lightly sweat laden fur on my mane. I'd have to wait to take a shower tomorrow in the gym. I didn't have time to get to it tonight. I heard the muffled voices of my fellow students as I passed the hallway of dorm rooms, eventually reaching my own.
I heard a televised voice coming from my room. The voices sounded Russian and I realized it was Sasha. I rustled my bag and pulled out my key, unlocked the door and let myself into the room.
"Hey Lucy!" I heard as soon as I entered. I looked at my bunk and saw the gorgeous red husky waving from the top bed. Her bright blue eyes, illuminated by the glow of her cellphone.
I sighed in relief. "Hi Kana." I said with a stretch.
My ears returned to the televised Russian voice. I looked ahead of me and I saw a white fox in silk pajamas, laying in her bed watching a TV-show. Sasha held a mug of tea and didn't acknowledge me as I entered.
I turned to the other side of the room and spied two other canines in their bunks. On the lower bunk in a ratty camo crop top and booty shorts was a lean muscular coyote. She wore a beanie and some tiny circular glasses. Lupe sat against the wall with headphones blasting punk music while she scribbled in a crumpled notebook. She looked up and flashed me a little wave and smile before looking back to her page.
"Welcome back Lucy." A soft friendly voice spoke to me from above the Coyote's bunk. I smiled and looked up at the cute face of the chocolate lab.
"Hi Bails. I got you the goods." I pulled out a little plastic container from my bag. "Canine friendly strawberry tiramisu."
The lab gleamed and happily accepted the dessert. "Here's my biology homework. Just make sure you also study the notes so you're not going into the test blind." The studious dog said as she opened her cake.
"You're beyond sweet Bailey. Even when you help me cheat on some homework."
Lupe pulled her headphones out and sniffed.
"Hey Lucy, might wanna warn me before you feed her some mascarpone. You know that girl doesn't do cheese and you don't have to sleep underneath her." The coyote giggled. I looked back to Bailey and saw her recoil in embarrassment.
I sighed. "Real nice Lupe, I hope you choke." I rolled my eyes and returned to my bunk with the homework.
"Ayy comrade! Wanna crack that window?!" The coyote yelled across the room. The snow-white fox looked up from her laptop and muttered to herself.
"Глупые собаки…"
"You know we don't understand that." Lupe replied.
"Oh it means, how do you say? Stupid Dogs." The Russian fox said with a smirk.
"Oh ok, come mi culo!" The coyote shouted loudly across the room. I sighed and my face palmed. The fox scoffed and closed her curtain before resuming her show.
The language barrier wasn't super uncommon in our dorm. In the recent decade, Cherryton had received a massive publicity boost from being Legoshi's alma mater. A fact that was noticed by not only our country, but several other nations. Cherryton had seen a massive influx of exchange students, two of which consistently bitched at one another.
"Remind me again how you're some punk feminist revolutionary?" I asked sarcastically.
The coyote looked at me. "I'm very serious in my advocacy for what I believe. But I'll call you a bitch if you're a bitch."
"Still kinda a bully." Kana said from her bunk. She gestured to the chocolate lab who held the uneaten cake with shame. The coyote's face softened and she stood up. "Hey Bails, I'm sorry for what I said. That was uncalled for and… I shouldn't have done that. You're like the nicest one here and it was mean of me to do that." The lab looked down for a moment and gave the coyote a pat on her head.
"It's okay, just maybe work on being nicer. We should all be friends here." We all looked at the drawn curtain. "That means you too Sasha!" The lab yelled.
I smirked and sat down on my bunk to copy the homework. I heard Kana exit her bed before she crawled into mine.
"Kana?" I asked. The red husky held a brush which she placed into my mane.
"Please let me get those knots, if you're not gonna shower tonight please take care of this gorgeous luxurious coat." She smiled as she brushed me. I exhaled and settled into the admittedly lovely treatment.
"Fine…" I said as I stretched and started copying the worksheet. Bailey began to eat her cake.
"This is delightful, I love the food at your place." She brightly said. I was suddenly reminded of the night's events.
"Free delicious chow is a pretty good perk I'd say." Kana said as she brushed behind my ears.
"No worries, in fact it's not the only perk of the job. I nearly got a 7000yen tip tonight." The room was filled with several "oohs".
"How'd you land that?" Lupe asked.
"Well, it just so happened that…I was serving Legoshi tonight." I said with a proud smile, pointing at the poster I had on the wall over my matrass.
"What! Oh my god I'm so jealous!" Kana said as she hugged me from behind. "You must have been so excited!"
"I was! Believe me!"
"No shit! What are the odds?" Lupe said as she walked to the little tea kettle. "Why do you have all the good luck?"
"He still lives in this city. I'm sure he gives a lot to this community. It's awesome that he seems just as generous as he's said to be." Bailey said as she ate her cake. "That's really cool that he eats at La Trattoria Roma."
"Some of my coworkers said he comes in somewhat often." I said in excitement, pulling it from the left pocket of my pants. "He also gave me a little autograph."
"God he's dreamy." Kana said as she nuzzled my fluffy red mane. "Oh course I don't need to tell you that."
"Hmmm?" I looked back, "Oh yeah, he´s so nice! I´ve been serving them all evening and he even remembered my name when he asked for the check!"
They all smiled while I still kept on watching the autographed photo he gave me.
"Is that gonna go on your Legoshi shrine?" Lupe asked as she settled back into her bunk with a fresh cup of tea.
I blushed. "What…"
Lupe smirked and pointed beyond me at my wall. Proudly displayed were two movie posters featuring Legoshi as well as a smattering of magazine photos and headshots.
"Total stalker vibes." The coyote giggled.
"Shut up! He's just my hero and inspiration." I tried to pop up but I felt the hair brush snag in my mane. "Ow ow!" I yelped.
"Careful hon." Kana said as she brushed more to free the tangled brush.
"So is Legoshi giving you that big tip the mental image you're gonna use from now on?" She said, barely stifling laughter.
"Lupe!" Bailey chastised her from above. Kana giggled as she heard that. Even a faint snickering came from behind the fox's curtain.
I felt so exposed. "That's… none of your damn business!" I shouted.
"Hey Lucy no sweat, I'm more sex positive than anyone! We all flick the bean! Squirt with pride baby!" She said as she raised her fist in power. Bailey threw her face into the pillow, obviously sharing my embarrassment while Kana removed the brush and giggled as well. Her long tail wagged against my pillow.
"Kana? Are you done with my mane?" I asked.
"Oh, yeah I'm finished."
"Cool, I'm going to bed!" I shouted as I bumped her off my mattress with my hips. As soon as she was out of my bunk, I flung my curtains shut and was quiet. I was still blushing red as I was put on the spot. From outside I heard a soft gigging shared by the coyote and husky.
"Lupe!" I heard Bailey yell. "Haven´t you heard anything I said?!"
POV Haru
"I´m gonna like her" Juno told us with a big grin from the co-driver´s seat.
The two wolves had somehow managed to convince me to spend the night with them as well, I was now sitting in the middle back seat of Legoshi´s car and on duty to stop Juno from taking him apart just yet.
"What do you mean you´re gonna like her?" I asked in amusement.
"When she becomes Leon´s sweetheart of course" she clarified with a big grin towards me.
I couldn't help but shake my head about that silly wolf once again.
"Come on, Juno" Legoshi chuckled, "What are the odds they´re even playing a love-piece? Cut him some slack, okay?"
"Oh just let me dream a little bit" she muttered, "Don't you think they would look really cute together?"
I just smiled at her a little bit.
Legoshi probably was right, Leon maybe wasn´t ready for anything serious like that yet. He used to spend quite a lot of time alone while growing up. Be it to high expectations of the people around him or because of greed and jealousy, he never enjoyed being around people his age a whole lot. I just hoped he would find something that makes him happy soon.
"I think you look really cute" I told Juno now, trying to shift the topic into a less uncomfortable direction, "…you´re even cuter when you´re horny."
"Oh Shush" Juno now said with slight embarrassment.
"Oh you know what you did when you ordered the shrimp tonight" I told her with a big grin, letting her know how obvious it was.
"You know I like the shrimp" she told me innocently, "And they were really fresh today!"
"As if you´re not horny enough without them already" Legoshi now grinned at her, not believing her either.
She now let her head hang in defeat for a moment, then she decided to own it.
"Oh yeah?" she now asked teasingly, "At least I behaved in the restaurant tonight."
I patted her long snout a couple of times, acting really proud of her.
"Guess that´s over now?" Legoshi asked in amusement, just as the gate to his drive electrically opened for us and the car rolled towards the ramp of his underground carpark. The high metal gate automatically closed behind us again, the lights in his garden illuminated the driveway in a very comfortable way.
Juno just teasingly licked her lips as an answer to his last question. I couldn´t hide a little giggle at the sight. Juno was still such a treasure, even after all these years.
"There is nowhere to run, Legoshi" I told him with a naughty grin while we waited for the garage door to open, "She´s licked blood already and she´s coming back for more."
Somebody mentioned that the last chapter came out a little short? ^^ (does 12.2K words suffice?)
