Chapter 3: Vader's Fist
Within the depths of space, close to the planet of Crunus, a large ship loomed, an Imperial Star Destroyer, named Impulse. This Star Destroyer was the flagship of a small, somewhat secretive Imperial fleet known as Vader's Fist. A secretive group formed by Darth Vader, while seemingly hunting down Jedi as an extension of the Inquisitorius, it in fact seemed to have a separate goal in seeking out old Jedi artefacts, specifically old, abandoned Jedi temples and shrines, apparently seeking something very few seemed to know about. At that moment inside the ship's main hanger bay, the Imperial troops and Stormtroopers stood lined up, to attention as one of the two leaders of Vader's Fist stood before them, eyes narrowed. She was a tall severe looking business-like woman with shoulder length brown hair, that was greying due to her being in her forties, brown eyes and fair skin, she had a slender yet toned build. She wore the uniform of an Imperial officer with her rank plate denoting her as a commander.
"I expect all of you to be vigilant, there will be no slip ups, no slacking." She told the assembled forces in a stern tone. "Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes ma'am!" They chorused.
She flared her nostrils, walking along the line; she was determined to the be best in the Imperial Navy and as such took her duties as part of Vader's Fist seriously, with great focus and saw her tasks as the most important.
This also affected how she viewed people, seeing them as little more than tools to be discarded once their usefulness was over. She also had an issue with the more 'pampered' members of the Imperial Navy, such as the young man she had stopped before. He was tall, but shorter than her, a young man of seventeen with tanned skin, short brown hair and brown eyes, he wore the uniform of an Imperial cadet, but she knew who he was and that he was one of the people she despised the most.
"I'm especially referring to you, Private Gabriel Garcia." She remarked venomously to him.
He tensed. "Commander Lilly?"
She shook her head. "You've been a disappointment these last few missions. Not getting cold feet I hope, after all the effort your father put into making sure you were hand-picked for your recruitment with hopes of early officer training?"
Gabriel Garcia swallowed, his father was Imperial Admiral David Garcia, technically making Gabe a military brat who greatly respected his father. However this nepotism was something Lilly despised and she made sure to make it clear that she did, every chance she got, by putting Gabe down every time he made even the slightest mistake. This and the overwhelming orders he was receiving as part of Vader's Fist were indeed starting to get to him, but he always tried to avoid showing it.
"Your precious daddy can't spoil you here, boy." She continued to berate him in front of all the others. "So just remember, you're nothing but another solider here, just as expendable and-"
"Commander Lilly."
The voice was sharp and cold, distorted by a mechanical voice changer, but it made everyone freeze and even Lilly turned, the whites of her eyes showing.
Approaching was a relatively tall figure, clad in the black and red armour, helmet and cape of the Inquisitorius, albeit without any markings of an Inquisitor, the helmet was also modified with a voice changer that distorted the speakers voice. But even with that the voice, as well as the general body shape of the figure, identified them as female.
"Nyx?" Lilly queried quietly.
Despite her self-importance, Lilly knew that Nyx was a very competent wielder of the Dark Side of the Force, well known for being short-tempered and volatile and as such even Lilly knew better than to try the Dark Side User's patience.
"We have received a transmission from our probe droid down on the surface of the planet below us." Nyx explained. "It has located a Jedi, we're receiving the exact coordinates. Put a team together and we'll go down to the surface and deal with this."
Lilly swallowed her pride, despite her anger at being addressed this way. "At once."
With that Nyx nodded, turned and walked away, while Lilly turned and glared.
"You heard her, we're putting a team together, when I address you, step forward and prepare for your mission." She snapped. "You first Garcia, I'm giving this one last chance."
Gabe swallowed nervously, but stepped forwards for the mission as Lilly continued.

In her bed, Clementine groaned, tossing and turning, in her sleep as she could heard the blaster fire, the sounds of lightsabers. Then a voice, calling out to her, deep and yet caring, and at the time, frantic.
"Clementine, run!"
She gasped and jerked awake, eyes wide.
"Clem?"
She turned, biting her lip to see Violet sitting up, looking worriedly at her.
"S-Sorry Vi, did I wake you?" She asked worried.
Violet sighed. "Kinda. Bad dream?"
"Yeah, I...I was remembering something before I came here." She explained. "Someone, very important to me, died."
Violet tensed at that. "Oh Clem, I...I'm sorry…"
Clem nodded. "It's...it's okay. I never mentioned it before."
"Who-?"
"His name was Lee. Lee Everett. He meant so much to me and now he's dead." Clem explained, trying to keep her voice from shaking. "That was three years ago…"
"I...I'm sorry Clem." Violet said warily.
They both lapsed into silence after this, an awkwardness building until finally Violet broke it.
"You know, before I came here...I met Tenn...along with his sisters, well, adopted sisters." She explained. "Their names were Sophie and...Minerva. The two of them, they were like us, you know."
Clem nodded in understanding, Violet meant that Sophie and Minerva had been Force Sensitives.
"Well, unfortunately, we were found...by Imperials and...and Sophie and Minnie-" Violet broke off and shook her head. "They took them, I only barely escaped with Tenn…"
"You were close to them?" Clem asked, noting the way Violet spoke about one in particular. "To Minerva?"
Violet nodded. "Yeah, I-"
But she never got to finish that sentence.
For indeed at that moment they heard a commotion outside.
"What the-?" Clem gasped. "What's going on?"
Violet shook her head, standing up. "Let's go see."
They quickly got dressed and Violet rushed out the door. Clem went to follow but hesitated, a strange feeling overcoming her. Following it however she turned, opened the box under her bed and pulled out her lightsaber, still remembering Lee's words.
"You must make sure this is more than a weapon, Clementine. It is a symbol, a symbol of you."
She took a deep breath, readied herself, and stood up. She hadn't told the full truth about Lee to Violet, he had actually been her mentor. The one who had trained her in the Jedi arts. Stashing the lightsaber out of sight in her back pocket, Clem left the dwelling, only to find her worst fears outside, Imperial stormtroopers, all armed, with several Imperial troops standing nearby, Violet and all the others had been herded together and held at gunpoint and now, so was she.
