Chapter 18: Battle of Ientor Part 4
Clementine couldn't believe it.
"Violet, what, you-?"
Violet glowered. "Spare me, Clementine, I know what happens now. This is when you start to make lame excuses to try and justify abandoning me."
Clementine shook her head. "Violet, please I-"
"I said spare me. I'm not interested in your lies. I see the truth now and nothing can stop me. You betrayed me Clementine, don't you know what that did to me!" Violet suddenly burst out, her rage overwhelming.
Clem flinched, not expecting this level of anger from Violet, or for Violet to take things quite so strongly.
"I never forgot you, I regretted every second, I wished so much I could've done things differently." Clem tried to explain.
But Violet shook her head. "More lies."
Tenn was also frozen in shock, seeing this, he couldn't believe that the two people he trusted most were before him, as enemies. Worse, there was still no news about the only remaining person.
"Wait, Sophie, what-?"
"Sophie's dead." Minerva snapped, her anger having spiked.
She did not like what she saw. She did not expect Violet's outburst to be what it was, the source of Violet's anger was not what Minerva wanted it to be. She had to end this now, before things got out of hand.
She reacted quickly, Force Choking Clementine again, Clementine choked, trying to gasp for breath as she kicked, lifted off her feet, her lightsaber falling to the ground.
"Finish her already, Violet!" Minerva shrieked.
Violet glared, readying her own lightsaber, about to strike when suddenly the blade flew out of her hand.
"What?!"
Minerva was so shocked she dropped Clem who hurried to recover, grabbing her now inert lightsaber. Then Clem's stomach jolted again as she saw someone else who wasn't supposed to be there.
"Sarah!?"
Sarah stood there, having pulled Violet's lightsaber from her grasp with the Force and after catching it, stood frozen in shock and fear.
"So, another Force User." Minerva hissed.
She began advancing on Sarah then.
Seizing her chance, knowing they had to end things now, Clementine used her Force power again to push Violet this time. Caught off guard, Violet cried out as she flew through the air and into Minerva, knocking her down, her lightsaber disengaging.
"C'mon, run!" Clem screamed as she hurried towards Tenn and Sarah, Sarah dropping Violet's lightsaber, shutting it off.
They turned and ran, by which point Violet and Minerva had recovered, Violet recovering her lightsaber. But before they could pursue, Clem utilized her Force Powers to pull down some nearby pillars, forcing them to stop before the rubble could hit them and, using the time bought, they ran, escaping the shrine and preparing to return to the Eclipse to finally escape Ientor.

Reaching the top level again they hurried out. They could hear the sounds of battle as they made their way along.
"I don't think we can get out the same way." Javi commented.
Gabe grimaced. "There needs to be another path...we've gotta hurry, look."
He directed their attention to a nearby window, through it they could see Clementine running, and she wasn't alone, Sarah and Tenn were with her.
"What are they…?" Javi gasped.
"Hey, what about that?" Mari interrupted.
They followed where she was pointing and saw a large turret, just what they needed. They hurried over and, with the others taking cover and waiting for their chance, Gabe fired it at the nearby wall.

Things were gradually starting to work against the Invisibles.
"There's more of them than we thought and they have better weapons than we thought they would to." Becca hissed.
"Guys, look." Francine called.
At that moment the wall of the base suddenly exploded and from within came Javi and Gabe, with them were two others, an older woman and a teen girl, no doubt Kate and Mariana, Javi was supporting Kate as he walked.
"Now quick, fire, don't let up, it's time to fall back, give Javi and Gabe time!" Pete cried.
They quickly did so and held the attackers at bay as they began to regroup.
"Sorry we took so long, complications." Javi explained.
Gabe then remarked. "Clem's coming too, I saw her as we passed one of the windows."
"Alright, let's go!" Pete ordered.
So, moving as quickly as they could, still trying to avoid any attacks they hurried back to their ships. Before long Kate and Mariana were on board the Eclipse along with everybody else and they were about to take off.
"Wait, Sarah!" Carlos cried.
Shel's voice came over the radio. "She's with me, along with Clementine and Tenn, we got them."
With that taken care of, much to their relief, everybody readied themselves, catching their breath, still trying to gather themselves, especially Clementine and Tenn, as the ships took off and began to leave Ientor behind.

Tripp was beginning to grow concerned, things were taking longer than expected. Yet he was still receiving updates from the ground team, so he knew they were still fighting. Then came the words he had been hoping for.
"Tripp, we're coming up, looks like we saved Javi's niece and sister in law." Pete informed him.
"Excellent, quickly, get up here and we'll make our escape while we still can." He replied. "You hear that Paul?"
"Loud and Clear." Paul confirmed. "What of Clementine?"
Shel's voice then spoke up. "She's with us...it seems we have some, extra guests."
"Extra-?"
"Later." Carlos insisted. "There's some...serious talking that needs to be done about this."
Tripp was beginning to guess what he meant, but put it aside as finally both ships emerged from the planet and joined the Liberty and Dauntless. The co-ordinates were set and they made their final preparations. Watching them a fuming Lilly gave the order.
"Enough fooling around. I want every bit of firepower on this ship aimed at them, destroy them." She demanded.
"But Commander, they-"
"Do it!" She cried.
But the reasons for his protests became clear, it was already too late. No sooner had Lilly given her order, all four ships jumped into hyperspace and were gone, they had escaped.
