Now onto the story.

Chapter 29: Bonded
Almost at once, recovering from her shock Violet reacted, attempting, not a Force Choke, as Clem noted, but to Force Push Clem away. Clementine braced herself, but nothing happened. Violet looked at her, startled, before trying again, and again. Confused Clementine began to walk towards Violet who tensed.
"Get back." She hissed.
"Violet…" Her voice was soft. "You-"
Violet shook her head. "Don't think I'm falling for that."
Clem stopped, now right in front of Violet.
"Falling for what?" She asked.
"You know what." Violet snapped. "Pretending as if you care, trying to get in my head with your lies-"
"I do care." Clem insisted.
As she did so she reached out, her hand coming to rest on Violet's shoulder. Violet flinched, but did not pull away.
"D-Don't lie to me, Clementine." Violet countered, but there was no conviction in her voice, that much was obvious.
Clem shook her head. "I'm not lying Violet, when have I ever lied to you."
"The whole time we've known each other." Violet shot back, fire returning to her voice. "You lied about being a Jedi."
"No, I hid being a Jedi, out of fear for my life. As you would've done and you never asked me about it so I didn't lie." Clementine calmly explained.
Violet just jerked her head, as if trying to get those words out of her mind.
It made sense now, from what Clem was seeing, Minerva was indeed responsible for Violet's actions since she had been abducted from Crunus. She had poisoned Violet's mind with lies and deceit, twisted her with the Dark Side and clearly was trying to condition to accepting nothing but what Minerva told her as being lies.
"How did you even get here?" Violet demanded, brushing Clementine's hand off her shoulder.
"Get where?"
"Here." Violet repeated. "My room, on the ship."
Clementine looked even more confused. "I'm not...I'm in my room…"
"What, but you're right here in front of me, in my room." Violet replied; now beginning to show confusion herself.
Finally another piece of this made sense to Clem. She could see Violet but not her surroundings, likewise Violet could see her but not her surroundings. They weren't really in each other's rooms. It was a Force Bond. As she realised this and even revealed it to Violet in answer to Violet's confusion, a look of consternation crossed Violet's face.
"So that's it...that's why nothing works…" She bowed her head. "Here I thought you'd just got better at resisting."
"Attempting to break into my mind." Clementine noted. "Is that what she did to you?"
Violet started at that. "What?!"
"Minerva, is that how she poisoned your mind and turned you into this?" Clementine remarked.
Violet growled and this time actually did attempt to Force Choke Clem, but of course it didn't work and she let out a grunt of frustration.
"Don't you dare, don't you dare speak of Minnie that way. At least she cares about me, at least she loves me and would never abandon me." She hissed.
Clementine bowed her head sadly.
She shook her head, remembering that dark moment on Crunus.
"Violet, this is not what I wanted, I never wanted to leave you. But it was me they were after...I thought if I fled, they'd come after me and leave you guys. I hoped...I hoped to at least escape but find some way to tell you guys the truth…" She sighed. "Instead it became such a big mess."
"Again with the lies, Clementine." Violet sighed. "You abandoned us, ran off with that Imperial boy, Garcia."
"He was hurt, you saw how everything was, if I had a chance of saving anyone, he was the only one I could get remotely close to." Clementine shot back. "It's been, killing me ever since I left, knowing what I left behind. But I held on to hope that I'd find you again. When I met the rest of the Ericsons crew here, I hoped you were with them, but then-"
Violet however glared. "Urgh, you just can't stop, can you?"
"Stop?"
"Lying." Violet snapped. "The Ericsons crew, they're all dead."
Clementine sighed. "No they're not Violet, they're all here with me and the others. Ruby and Aasim have finally admitted they love each other, but they're all worried about you. When we found out that you were there, with Minerva, they're all afraid for you."
"Stop, just, just stop…" Violet protested, her voice shaking.
Clementine bit her lip, whatever Minerva had been doing to Violet, it looked like it was beginning to crack.
"Why do you keep insisting I'm lying, what has Minerva done to you, to twist your mind so much?" Clementine asked.
"Stop talking about her like that." Violet protested. "Minerva protected me, saved me, told me everything."
"You mean she told you what she wanted you to believe...she did that to you too, didn't she?" Clementine asked pointedly as she gestured to the fresh bruise on Violet's cheek.
Violet flinched again, then began to actually tremble.
Clementine began to feel hope, maybe she'd broken through. It might just be possible to save Violet from the Dark Side.
But then Violet spoke again. "You don't, you don't know what you're talking about. It was an accident during training. Minerva loves me, she's the only one who does."
"Well, that's a lie right there." Clementine countered, then, before Violet could leap to Minerva's defence. "Violet, I never got the chance to tell you on Crunus, what I felt. But I...I love you."
As she said this she reached out again, this time cupping Violet's cheek. Violet let out a shaky breath, staring at Clem in disbelief. She was clearly conflicted but then, suddenly.
"Violet!"
Violet blinked and Clem was gone, she was alone in her room. At least until the door opened and Minerva stalked in.
"What are you doing?"
"N-nothing." She stammered, still shaken by her encounter.
Minerva quirked an eyebrow, not entirely convinced. "Well. You better not screw up again, our next mission is coming up and I won't have you embarrassing me."
With that she turned and stalked out, leaving Violet once again, all alone.
