Wolfgirl2013: Thanks :)
Boris Yeltsin: Um, no, it's plainly explained what happened in the chapter, so, actually pretty easy to tell :)

Now onto the story.

Chapter 30: Concerns

The following day, still shaken by her encounter with Violet through the Force Bond, Clementine made her way to where the rest of the Ericsons crew were eating. She realized now that the strange feeling she had experienced before, that sensation of being watched, had been the first touches of the Force Bond, but it hadn't been strong enough for anything to happen. Now however, things were certainly different. Reaching the table she sat down, the others turned to her, only to see her expression.

"Clem?" Omar began worriedly.

She sighed. "Guys, something happened last night...I...I saw Violet."

They all froze, startled, until Clem clarified what she meant, telling them the whole story of her late night encounter with Violet. She left nothing out, including her concerns about Violet and how she was being treated.

"Oh my…" Brody gasped.

Ruby shook her head. "So wait a second. You and Violet were able to talk to each other, even touch each other, despite the fact she is somewhere in space, and you're here?"

"That's about it, yes." Clem remarked. "I could see her, plain as day. What's more...I could feel, what she was feeling."

"How, is there any way can?" Louis asked hesitantly.

"I hope so." Clem admitted. "She's not that far gone, she has fallen to the Dark Side. But the way she's being treated, especially by Minerva. I don't understand what's keeping her there. Why she clings so desperately to something that everyone else can see is a lie…"

Brody was silent for a moment, before sighing. "It has to be Minerva herself. Violet did tell me about her, about how close they were. Maybe Minerva was always like this, manipulative, and Violet fell for it, only now it's worse."

Clem sighed, it certainly made sense.

She knew from their time together on Crunus that Violet's rough childhood had led to her becoming desperate for any sort of affection, anything that could make her feel wanted, feel as if she meant something to someone. Now Minerva was twisting that desire to have Violet plunge deeper into darkness, to try and turn Violet into little more than a living, breathing weapon.

"I just hope, after telling the truth, that Violet will understand. That she'll realize…" Clementine began.

"I don't know if it's that simple. Minerva's got her thinking everyone else is a liar...I just can't believe she's been twisted into this monster too." Tenn said hesitantly.

Clem grimaced. "I'm sorry Tenn, I know Minerva's your sister-"

Tenn shook his head. "I understand, it's alright. I just...From what you're saying, we have a chance to save Violet. Doesn't Minerva have a chance?"

They all looked to Clem at that and Clem bowed her head.

"Truthfully...I don't know, she's been steeped in the Dark Side much longer than Violet has...But if there was even a slimmest chance, I promise I'd take it." She told him.

Silence fell around the table at that as they considered the implications of what was happening and what had been revealed to them.

There was another issue, as Willy pointed out. "Yeah, but we'll be lucky if we even get a chance to do...anything really. I mean...there's still the matter of the traitor, who knows who it could even be?"

The others nodded at that, Louis looked around worried.

"I'm just worried they'll start looking at us, being the new people here and all."

Aasim sighed. "While that is a valid concern Louis, this traitor clearly has access we don't."

"You're thinking, someone higher up?" Ruby queried.

"I'm thinking we should all be very careful, until we know the truth." Aasim clarified.

Clem sighed but nodded, knowing he was right.

Clementine nodded to herself as she watched over AJ. He stood, lightsaber drawn and ignited, the training remote flying around in front of him as he followed it with the blade. She'd come to know AJ well enough that she knew, despite the blindfold he wore, he still had his eyes closed. Sarah was next to him, her own lightsaber ready, also blindfolded as she trained with her own remote.

"Remember, a Jedi feels the Force flowing through them, you can rely on it, on your instincts, much more than your eyes and other senses." Clementine told them.

She still recalled going through this very lesson with her own Master. It was something Clem took upon herself while learning from the Holocrons. No matter what teachings were contained within them, Clem would teach them, but would try to instil the same values and lessons that Lee had taught her, even those that did not seem to fully comply with the view of Jedi at that time. Yet it had been those very views that she felt allowed Lee to survive as long as he did after Order 66.

'I need to try and make sure we all have the best chance possible to survive.' She reflected.

As she did she watched them deflect the bolts from the remotes and smiled, they were getting better all the time. She quickly turned off the remotes.

"Alright, that'll do for now."

They both switched off their lightsabers and removed the blindfolds.

"Clem?" Sarah asked.

Clem shook her head. "You're both doing well; before you take a break, let me ask one question. As you know, we've done this exercise many times now, yet I keep coming back to it, why?"

"To not forget the basics." AJ replied at once. "For it is often the simplest things that can change the course of everything."

"Correct." Clem said. "Now, rest up."

They nodded and as they headed off, Clem turned to see Javi hurrying towards her.

"Clem, we need to hurry, we've got a mission. They've found the third Holocron."

"What, where?"

"A planet called Ostoth, on the Outer Rim." Javi explained.

Clem immediately hurried to join in the preparations.

Meanwhile, on board their ship, Minerva stood alongside David.

"Remind me why I'm being sent with him." She demanded.

Tarkin shook his head. "You are an integral part of this mission. Whilst Admiral Garcia leads his forces on Ostoth to find the Holocron, you are to keep watch for the possible arrival of the Invisibles and if we get confirmation that the Jedi is among them, you are to intercept and eliminate her. Commander Lilly, I have another task for you, take the rest of you fleet and make preparations above Nar Shaddaa, I will join you there shortly."

Lilly nodded. "Yes sir. Might I ask where our other trump card is?"

As if on cue, Minerva's communicator flared to life and Violet spoke up.

"I am on my way back from Coruscant, I have the Sith Holocrons...The Emperor wished to see me before I left." She revealed.

"What?" Minerva gasped. "Why?"

"He had something to give me." She explained. "We have the fourth Jedi Holocron."

Minerva couldn't help but smirk at that and as Violet was relayed to join the fleet at Nar Shaddaa, Minerva prepared herself, this time she would finish the job.
