Chapter 37: Battle of Valunt – Part 3
Clementine was still horrified by this revelation, but knew she had no time to grieve.
"Sarah look out!" She cried.
She quickly blocked Minerva's attempt to attack again, deflected and then parried Violet's blow. This was bad, she knew Sarah was in no condition to fight now, she'd have to keep them away from her.
"Clementine, Clementine, oh you just keep hiding." Minerva taunted.
Clementine shook her head. "Enough."
Minerva was about to continue but quickly had to stop as Clementine suddenly advanced. Violet hesitated again and Minerva snorted.
"Will you just get over yourself Violet." She snapped. "Fight already!"
With that she struck out, trying to attack Clem who parried and countered with her own attack, Violet finally joined in but Clementine was able to hold her own, at least at first. But then Minerva's unstable lightsaber cut out and in a fit of rage she lashed out with her Force Powers. Clementine cried out in pain as she was slammed into a nearby pillar, then another, then a third before throwing her to the floor, writhing in pain.
"Now Violet, fix your mistakes, finish her." Minerva demanded.
Violet made her way over to Clem's prone form but again she hesitated. Looking down at Clementine, breathing heavily until a disgusted Minerva managed to get her lightsaber going again and hurried forwards, pushing her aside.
She shook her head. "As always, I have to do everything."
She raised her blade to strike but then, suddenly, out of nowhere, Sarah appeared and blocked the strike before pushing back and trying to attack Minerva.

It was as if time slowed down, staring in disbelief at what had happened, Javier, Kate and Mari all broke from the cover, rushing along with the Ericsons crew to where the duo had landed. Lily smirked and signalled to the turret, seeing the chance to deal with a lot of enemies at once. But then suddenly the turret exploded and she cried out.
"What, how-" Then she saw it. "Traitor!"
David ignored her, his thermal detonator had destroyed the turret and he broke ranks, hurrying to his son.
"David, what-?" Javi began, seeing him.
David simply snapped. "My son!"
That was all it took for Javi, Kate and Mari to understand that David had finally opened his eyes. There was no time to really get into the specifics however, mainly due to the fact the battle had resumed and more fire was raining down upon them. Tripp cried out in pain suddenly as he too was struck and injured, just like Gabe and Brody, but was otherwise alive.
"There's no choice, everyone, hurry, we need to get out of here, all the ships are set with the coordinates, now!" Eleanor cried.
But even as she said it, more horror struck them as this time, both Peter and Conrad were mown down with heavy fire. Nick froze in dismay, eyes wide upon seeing his Uncle's corpse. At that point however, there was a commotion, sounds of explosions up in orbit and screams from the Imperials communicators.
Then, the Invisibles heard their own communicators giving them the welcome news.
"We're here to help, c'mon, we need to get out of here." A man's voice cried. "Molly, Luke and I will cover you, get to your ships!"
Javi gasped, recognizing the voice. "Kenny! He brought those two with him too and others more likely. You heard him, hurry! Clementine, Sarah, you hear this, get out of there, get to your ships!"
They began fleeing from the surface, heading down to the hanger.
"Hold on, Javi." Nick said, his voice worryingly empty of emotion. "Take the Eclipse, she's yours now."
"What Nick...NO!"
But it was no good, Nick forced him to leave and rushed towards the Imperials, Thermal Detonator at the ready and by the time they realized the danger it was too late and then, to Lily's horror, a large portion of her forces were destroyed. Then came the horrified scream and Lily noticed, to her relief, that at least part of the mission was a success. For at that moment she spotted Arvo and his crew making their escape, an out cold Becca slung over Buricko's shoulder while Vitali was surprising carrying a similar captured Kate Garcia.
"Becca no!" Shel screamed.
But it was no good, she had to be held back and dragged away by the other smugglers, Javi and David forcing themselves to flee too for Mari and Gabe's sake all while the Imperials continued to fire on them. It was then Lily received new instructions and swiftly called off further attacks or pursuit.

Minerva however swiftly countered and held Sarah in the air with a force choke. As Sarah fought for breath, Minerva turned her gaze back to Clem.
"I honestly am fed up with you and this pathetic never give up attitude. Passing it on to these other Jedi worms...Is this how you try to make up for what you did." She hissed.
Clementine groaned and tried to get up. "S-Stop…"
It was happening, her memories were resurfacing, the memories she had hidden for so long.
Then Minerva pushed things too far. "Yes, you remember now don't you. You remember about how you killed your Master, Lee."
Something snapped, Clementine let out a terrifying feral scream and lunged at Minerva, lightsaber ignited and tried to outright kill her. Minerva was forced to block the strike, letting Sarah go, leading to a blade lock. This escalated into a four way lock as Sarah and Violet, still shocked by the revelations Minerva had made, hurried to try and join in, all four of them pushing back and forth, trying to overpower the others. Until finally, with her realizing too late, the red blade of Violet's lightsaber struck it's owner, in the face. With a blood-curdling scream Violet fell back, clutching at her right eye as she writhed on the ground.
