Alright, so last time the entire fight with Kraven was inspired a little bit by the Speculator Spider-Man episode with Kraven(In fact this fic takes huge inspiration from that episode). I thought it was a good first fight scene to indicate the differences between Spider-Man and Kraven.

Anyway, enjoy the rest of the doc, and let me know what you think.

Disclaimer: I do not own these characters.

Act I (Part 2)

The next day Peter woke up, realizing he was still in his Spider-Man costume, he got up quickly and changed his clothes. He did the same routine he usually does watches MJ and Ned from afar in the shop before heading off to the Bugle.

As he entered his workplace, Betty came up to him asking him about rumors that Spider-man was fighting a "Tarzan" last night.

"Tarzan?" Petr asked, pretending to be confused.

"Yeah, it was weird the guy was webbed on the streetlights before escaping. But police never caught him, they're linking him with the murders in that abandoned building." betty said as it made Peter wonder about something.

"I gotta go take pictures of Spider-man, see ya." He ran off before she could tell him anything. He ran into an alleyway and changed into his Spider-man costume and started to swing by.

As he swings, he starts talking to himself, "Ok, Parker... let's see what we have... crazy hunter tries attacking you last night. Said he was hired by someone. And he has a creature that hunted those guys. Although, they were probably criminals they didn't deserve that."

He kept swinging and landed somewhere on top of an apartment building. He stayed in his spider-pose looking around for any danger. Even someone he knows from the criminal underworld could benefit him. And he hit gold today.

Looking down, he spotted his old friend, Aaron Davis, walking down into an alleyway. He jumped and swung towards him and landed near him.

"Hey, man, long time no see," he said with glee as Aaron got spooked and tried to run away but Peter webbed him on his legs and pulled him back to himself, holding Aaron up. The web was pulled off and he grabbed Davis by the shirt.

"What the hell do you want from me, man?!" He said scared.

He stared at him and then asked "I need information. Info about Kraven the Hunter and who hired him."

Aaron stared at him confused. "I heard rumors about that guy. He's hunting you."

"What do you know about him?" He asked.

"Nothing much, I know where he's from and all. But there is another guy lurking in the shadows hiring guys like him to kill you." Aaron explained.

"The guy lurking in the shadows... is he the one who hired Kraven?" Spider-Man asked, thinking back to something.

"Yes, he has a name, Riva. Rumor has it he used to work for Mysterio. He's been hiring bounty hunters, and assassins, all to target Spider-Man. But he had no success with who he can hire. Then Kraven accepted the offer. Though, no one knows why." Aaron explained.

"And how did you hear about this?" Spider-Man asked.

"Rumors like that spread like wildfire. Everyone is afraid of this guy. However, I left this life a while back. I heard that when you work with him he gets really angry. Almost like personal anger and he takes it out on you." Davis said, sadly.

"You used to work with him?" Spider-Man asked, sympathetically.

"No, I know guys that did and I left this life to protect my nephew." Davis explained, almost of the verge of tears.

"Where do I find him?" He asked, getting concerned about all of this.

"You'd find Riva somewhere around the docks in New York Harbor. He's always getting shipments for something, I don't know what it is, but it ain't good." Davis explained.

"Yeah, well people always say that to me," Spider-Man commented. "Any more info I should know?"

Davis shook his head as Spider-Man let him go and swung away from him.

Spider-Man landed on a nearby crane. Although he was visible, the criminals below didn't even bother to notice him. He leaped down in a surprise attack, and they started firing bullets.

He started quipping, "You guys suck at firing those guns. It's almost humorous." As he knocked two guys out, jumped up and knocked another down. Then he webbed and took away a gun from a goon and he started to run away.

Spider-Man chased him and webbed his legs. "Where's Riva?" He asked seriously.

"I don't know where he is." The criminal said, pleading for his life. Spider-Man put him down as the cops arrive. He swung out of action; his anger was starting to grow for Riva.

The cops started to arrest the criminals and noticed Spider-Man swinging by and they look up at him in awe.

Peter was now in his apartment, sitting and staring into his notebook, dwelling on something hugely irking him.

He started to develop a hypothesis with his scientific brain on the thing that was irking him the most.

Flashes of Mysterio saying his identity to the world.

"Spider-Man's name is Peter Parker!"

He's always wondered who sent that video to the Daily Bugle. He wondered and wanted proof if Riva was the one who sent that doctored video of Mysterio telling his identity to the world.

Peter got up from his desk and started to gather a few items, sticky notes, tape, and pins. As he did that, he went back to his desk and opened his laptop, and started to type in the search engine about pictures of Happy Hogan, Matt Murdock, and J. Jonah Jameson, then printed them. He started to connect a few pictures and sticky notes.

As he pinned and was about to be done, compared to most people that try to find connections on the wall in anything he was missing a huge puzzle.

Matt Murdock defended him in the trial of being accused of murder and the drones.

Happy who just recently is still on a long case about this and the drones causing Stark Industries to falter in the eyes of the public.

And then lastly J. Jonah Jameson received the video of Mysterio revealing his identity.

At the center of his wall is a sticky note that says "Riva?" and he paused for a moment wondering what's the big connection between Riva and Spider-Man.

"Riva used to be a part of Mysterio's crew and then sent that video to the Daily Bugle." He said to himself.

"But then why also go after Stark Indus-" His eyes widened as it became clear to him at that very moment that the connection was bigger than he realized.

He said to himself, "Stark Industries is the huge key in all of this."

He swings really fast across Manhattan in order to reach an old friend.

"I promised myself I wouldn't get near them to protect them. But right now, it seems like that wasn't enough," he stated as he ran onto the surface of a building and screamed "Sorry!" to the people working inside.

A few more swings and he landed near a building and noticed an old friend, Harold "Happy" Hogan.

Happy was busy watching TV, stressed about the news. This case was getting too intense now. The drone accusations and Stark Industries are just being mocked by the media. And worst of all he felt no one is going to help him.

He heard something land on his balcony and he turned to check.

"Aaaaahh!" He got jump-scared and then held the bridge of his nose in anger as he saw Spider-Man standing outside, waving nervously.

"It's been a while, Spider-Man." Happy said as he opened the sliding door and he let the web head in.

Spider-Man immediately talked fast, "Listen I don't think you have a lot of time. Someone is potentially after you."

Happy got so shocked, he didn't what to say. After a pause, he spoke up, "After me? For what?"

"Well, not you, technically, it's because of me..." Spider-Man explained poorly.

Happy shouted now confused, "So then why did you come here?!"

"Just listen... someone from Mysterio's crew is still on the loose and is the one framing you and like he did with me for the drones incident in London." He explained fast, hoping Happy would get it.

"So, you know who did it?" Happy asked.

He continued to ask, "Do you have any evidence? A name?"

"I have a name, but I don't know where he is. I do know that he has huge connections to Mysterio's old crew. I also have a theory that he was the one that sent-" he paused thinking that Happy wouldn't get that he sent the video to the Daily Bugle revealing his secret identity because of the spell.

"What... wwhhaat what were you gonna just tell me?" Happy asked, while getting what Spider-Man just said, the last part caught him off-guard and a little confused about what he was about to mention.

Spider-Man shook his head and said "It's nothing. Nothing important."

He then instantly remembered what else to say, "Oh, yeah, be on the lookout for a hired hitman, although I don't know that's what you could call him, that's been after me."

Happy's eyes widened and stared at him.

The web-head asked "What?"

"That would've first thing to say when you got here immediately about the hired hitman." Happy said angrily and annoyed

"Well, I don't even know if that's what you can call him, to be honest," Spider-Man said in his defense.

He added, "He's the guy I was dealing with last night."

"The 'Tarzan' guy that hung on that streetlight?" Happy asked.

"Why does everyone call him that?" Spider-Man comments, thinking back to what Betty said at the Bugle.

"He doesn't look that tough. But anyhow, we're getting off-topic. What's the name of the guy who hired Tarzan and is trying to get to you and... framed us?" Happy asked.

"I don't even know if it's his full name, but it's Riva," Spider-Man replied.

"That name sounds familiar, I don't know why it does." Happy states.

"I tried the internet to search the name, but nothing came up. I'm asking to find out with SHIELD or anybody you know that can help you on-"

Happy gave Spider-Man a huge hug. His white eyes widened and he wasn't sure if he could return the hug.

"Are you crying?" He asked as he heard little sniffles from Happy.

Happy let him go and immediately replied, "No."

Although deep down, Peter knew that it was a good thing to have that hug from Happy. He needed it more than ever.

Happy said out loud, "Thank you! Thank you very much!"

Spider-Man was about to go and waved at Happy and said "Yeah, well, gotta go patrol... you know be that friendly neighborhood Spider-Man."

As he was about to leap from the balcony, Happy asked, "Hey, listen... I know it might not mean much... but I want to know who you really are? If we're gonna take down Riva together at least tell me your name."

Underneath the mask, Peter was about to shed a tear, but he stopped himself and turned to look at Happy.

"I can't," he said sadly.

"I get it. You wanna keep your identity safe. But we're gonna have to trust each other even more." Happy suggests.

"I just can't ok...I'm not doing it just to protect myself, but also you. Spider-Man will always have enemies. You understand that."

Happy nodded and said, "I understand."

He leaped off the balcony and swung away. Beneath the mask, Peter was cursing himself under his breath.

"Why can't I tell him... tell MJ and Ned about who I really am..." He started to talk to himself more and more.

"Sometimes I wonder if I really did the right thing... doing that spell... changing my life around..." He swing and swung looking over the beautiful city.

He landed on the top of the Chrysler Building and watched from afar the city is quiet as usual. He remembered Peter-2 and Peter-3 telling him about places they'd go that had meaning to them. He couldn't thank them enough for helping him defeat the villains that came from their universes.

Peter took off his mask and then his phone and started to look over the pictures on it. Pictures of him and May mostly. He smiled, he hadn't smiled in a long time, and deep down he was pretty sure he knew that. He put it away for now.

His spider-sense started to tingle. He put his mask on and then jumped off the Chrysler Building.

He screamed a huge "Woooooooooooo!" and shot a web onto a nearby building and swung at extreme speed.

People on the sidewalks stared at the web-head swinging by.

Peter chuckled at this sometimes. People stared at him because he was always swinging by and they were always in shock at seeing him.

Police cars were chasing a stolen car. Two armed robbers had just robbed a bank and one of them was firing from the passenger seat while the other was driving.

Spider-Man swung and landed on top of the car.

"We got trouble!" The robber that was shooting the cops shouted as he fired his gun at where Spider-Man.

Usage of the spider-sense let the wall-crawler dodge the bullets and he jumped off the car and started to make a huge spider web.

It was huge enough like the ones that bugs would get caught in from a regular spider's web and the stolen got onto it. Now it was stuck.

Cops arrived and arrested the two robbers as they tried to get out of the car. Spider-Man landed nearby and said, "That was a job well done, gentlemen."

A few cops laughed, but some were serious.

"We got it here, Spider-Man. Thanks for the work." A cop said.

Spider-Man said to him, "No problem." And then he swung away.

Swinging by Times Square, J. Jonah Jameson was doing his typical rant against Spider-Man on the giant screen.

"Those armed robbers were probably hired by Spider-Man! Of course, it was typical of something like this from him. But now let's hear what supporters of Spider-Man are saying now. They still call him a hero and that they owe a great debt to him. Well, I'll tell you what he really is... he's a menace!"

While J. Jonah was someone that almost ruined Peter's life before the spell, he doesn't think he was all that ill-willed. He was just a guy that gotten into Mysterio's lies. Had Jonah known the truth, maybe he'd be a little different from Spider-Man? Though, that's a huge what-if according to Peter as he was swinging hearing all of this.

"I can never catch a break from being blamed for everything," he sighed as he kept enjoying the web-swinging. Perhaps a little too much.

His window rolled up and he was back in his apartment.

"'Spider-Man' duty completed today." He said happily as he changed his suit to regular PJs and then lays on the bed.

"Maybe my life will change," he thought about this more and more if he and Happy catch Riva maybe things will change for the better.
