===Yugi pov===
Slowly I began to wake from my sleepy, I stretched out my arms noticing the empty space next to me. I felt around to find that Atemu was nowhere. A soft sighed passed my lips, I sat up and hugged my knees close to my chest. Suddenly I heard a familiar cooing sound, I looked around to hear the source of the sound.
"Kuriboh?" I called out
"Kurri"
I felt Kuriboh nuzzle my face, I chuckled softly and hugged the little furball. He purred happily, I held him close and started to run my hand through his soft kitten like fur. Kuriboh cooed at me worriedly.
"I'm ok, Atemu told me the bandages have to stay on for a little longer." I said
"Kurrii?" he question
"Don't worry, I'm fine. It looks worse than it is." I said
"Yugi" a soft woman's voice called out
I looked up, I heard footsteps coming closer to me then someone place their hand on my shoulder.
"Do not worry Yugi, it is me Isis." The woman said
"Hey…is the pharaoh here?" I asked
"No, he had to do a few things first. He will be coming back with your supper." She said
"Oh ok…" I said
"Was there something you wanted to talk to him about?" she asked
"No, just wanted to know where he was." I said
"I see, I need to apply some oils onto your back now. Can you lie on your stomach?" she asked
I nodded my head, Kuriboh moved out of my arms careful I layed down on my stomach. Isis began to remove the old bandages and rubbed a cool oil onto my back. I bite my lip gently as the cool oils stung my back.
"I'm afraid these scars will be permanent, the damaged was done by the time we got you to the healing chambers." She explained
"…it's fine…I knew what I was doing…" I said
"Why did you decide to come back? You may never see your home or family ever again." She said
I stayed quiet as she finished rubbing the rest of the oils onto my back, once she was done she began to put new bandages on.
"It was unfair of him to do what he did…did he really believe he could send me back to my home and hope that all will be forgiven…It was unfair of him Isis." I said shedding a few tears
Isis gently wrapped her arms around me, with that I began to cry on her shoulder. She held me gently and let me cry out my sorrow. Kuriboh cooed sadly and hugged my arm gently. Atemu is unfair…he thought this is what I wanted but it wasn't…it wasn't what I wanted. Sometime had passed after my crying stopped, Isis began to clean my face with a wet rag.
"The pharaoh is wise beyond his years but, when it comes to love he is still a novice. After the incident with Bakura, his heart was shut from any love. Yet when you came here Yugi, he started to changed. I believe the pharaoh cares for you deeply, he does his best to please you." She said
"But does he think sending me back to my own time will make me happy?" I asked
"That is what he thought you would have wanted to be back in your own time, with your own family and friends. Isn't that what you wanted" she said
"It was but…I don't know, I'm so confused Isis, I don't know what I should do." I said
"Hush little one, wisdom will come to you when the time is needed. For now you should focus on resting." She said
"But Isis." I said
"No more talk…it seems you have visitors." She said
"Pharaoh?" I called out softly
"Sorry Yugi but it is us" a girl's voice said
"Mana?" I said
"And Luna." She said
"We brought you a small gift." Luna said
I heard their footsteps come closer to me, then the weight on the bed shifted. I felt someone grabbed my hand and placed something in it.
"What's this?" I asked
"It's a flower Mana and I made." Luna said
"A flower." I said
I gently brought the flower close to my nose and sniffed gently, the scent filled my nostrils. The scent was sweet, it was like honey on a warm summers day somehow it was lace with the scent of freshly fallen rainfall. I smiled happily at the scent.
"Thank you this is a wonderful gift." I said
"We wanted to make you something to help you along with your healing." Mana said happily
"Thank you, can you put this in a vase, it will be nice to see it once the bandages come off." I said
"Of course." Luna said
I felt the flower carefully taken out of my hand, Kuriboh nuzzled my hand gently. Slowly I began to pet his fur, Kuriboh began to purr happily, I chuckled softly and leaned back against the pillows.
"Yugi, when can you take off the bandages?" Mana asked
"A few days, is that right Isis?" I asked
"Correct, if your recovery goes well then you could take the bandages off early." She explained
"That's great to here." Luna said
"Once you are done recovery do you want to see me and Luna during our training?" Mana asked
"Of course, I wouldn't want to miss it." I said
"Yay." She cheered happily
I felt her wrap her arms around me and pulled me into a tight hug, I cried softly in pain. Mana let go of me quickly and held my hand.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't means to hurt you." She said
"It's alright. You need to be gentle next time." I said
"I will be." She said softly
The girls chuckled softly, followed by a new female's voice. Isis gasped loudly. I looked at the direction of the new voice, footsteps approached us. My heart beat started to race, who was here and what do they want.
"I'm back." The woman chuckled softly
