===With Yugi===

I let out a hummed happily after turning on my side, I nuzzled the cozy pillows but sighed annoyed when I felt the sun on my eyes...Wait sun?! I quickly sat up, oh no! It was morning already?! Oh no no no, I'm late! I jumped out of bed, quickly got dressed then bolted down the hallways. Today is my first magic lesson and I'm late! I panted heavily when I arrived in the training fields. Mahad crossed his arms over his chest and tapped his foot impatiently, Mana looked at me worried.

"It seems like someone has finally beaten your old record of showing up late, Mana."

"Mahad, I'm so sorry." I panted. "I'm not used to waking up without an alarm clock."

"I'm not sure what that is so for today I will let it go. Just don't show up late again." He uncrossed his arms and smiled at me "Are you ready for your magic lesson?"

"I am!" I said excitedly

He nodded and turned to Mana "Would you be so kind to explain how magic works?"

"Sure thing!" She said excitedly. "Magic is not so complicated as some people say, it's quite easy once you understand how it flows. Every person has a source called a Ba. It's how magic is possible. Think of it like this, it's a tiny fire inside of you with the proper training you learn how to control the fire and use it how you like. But be careful if you aren't careful magic can backfire on you."

"Sounds little complicated," I said

"Don't worry with Big brother and I here we will help you at every step." Mana cheered

"Before you were able to wield your magic to levitate a pot. Not many people can do that on their very first try." Mahad said

"Isn't it bad I broke the pot?"

"No, it wasn't. When you were focusing on levitation you were using too much magic at once, that is why the pot broke."

He walked over to a stack of pots and brought one over to me, he set it on the ground then stood behind me.

"This time when you are focusing on making the pot float, don't force yourself. Simply let the magic flow and do your best to guide it."

I nodded my head, after a couple of hours of practicing I was finally able to lift the pot an inch off the ground without shattering it. I wiped the sweat from my face and smiled tiredly at Mahad. The priest nodded in approval, he turned to Mana who was practicing her magic as well. It had been a week since I was able to leave Isis's healing chambers with my eyesight better than ever...Though I can't say the same for Atemu and I...sure we are friendly with each other and all but I can't shake the feeling of still being upset with him for what he tried to pull by sending me back home. I know he was thinking for my sake...I just don't know why I am upset with him.

"Yugi." Someone called out.

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked to who called me, it was Atemu's older sister Khepri. I knew very little about her since she came back to the palace. She was always doing her own things so I never really had a chance to talk with her. I waved at her as she approached me.

"Hey Khepri, it's nice to see you."

"Likewise, how goes your training?"

"Pretty great! Check this out." I said, I looked back at the pot and focus one more time. Just imagine it lifting off the ground by not forcing it to shatter. I panted for breath when I got it off the ground. "Not bad right?"

"You could use some improvement." She said with little interest.

"Oh." was all I could say, I guess to her this wasn't that impressive. I carefully placed the pot back on the ground.

"Come with me."

"Right now?"

"Is this a problem."

"I'm still in the middle of training," I said in a quiet voice.

She looked unfazed by my answer. "Mahad, I will be taking Yugi for the rest of today's training." She said with a commanding tone.

"...Very well." The priest said

"Khepri be gentle with Yugi, we don't want him going back to the healing chambers too soon." Mana said

She only smirked at them, I gulped as she face me with a sister grin. She grabbed my hand and practically dragged me down to the horse stables. She whistled with a high pitch and almost immediately a horse came running up to her. It was unbelievable this horse looked like something straight out of a fantasy movie. Her highness saddles him up.

"Get on."

I would have told her no though the stern look in her eyes kept me from saying anything, after a couple of tries I managed to climb on top of the large horse. Khepri had no trouble at all, to her it was natural. She sat behind me and held the reins.

"Try not to panic little one." She said

With that she snapped the reins, the horse quickly took off in a mad run. I held onto the saddle for dear life. I could barely hear the faint chuckles from the lady behind me. She snapped the reins once more having the horse go unimaginably faster.

"Too fast! Too Fast! You are going too Fast!" I screamed out.

"Oh little one this isn't fast. I will show you fast." She chuckled

Again she snapped the reins again I never thought it was possible but it was almost as if the horse was flying past everything and everyone. In a matter of minutes, we had arrived downriver. My bones were shaking like a leaf, Khepri lead the horse over to the water and jumped off. She petted him and ran her fingers through his majestic mane.

"You did well my friend, we arrived here faster than I thought." She chuckled

She looked up at me smug at how I was, this...This was a joke for her?! I stumble off the horse and stood on shaky legs. "That wasn't funny, I could have fallen off and been seriously hurt."

"Don't fret little one. Horus would have never kicked you off unless you insulted him."

"Still that was scary." I pouted

She only shrugged then stood in front of me. "Good I know you will be honest with me."

"Honest...What do you mean?"

"I want to know exactly who you are little one."

"And you think scaring me will make me more honest."

"No, I will be able to tell if you are lying to me."

I looked away while fiddling with my fingers I wasn't sure if I could be completely honest with her and even if I was she wouldn't believe me because of just how crazy everything sounded...I took in a deep breath and sighed softly.

"I won't lie to you, Kehpri just...try to understand what I tell you."

"I will determine the truth myself. Now, what are you to my brother."

"Um well I'm not sure where we stand right now." I said still not sure of the answer myself

"Then how do you see my brother?"

"I see huh umm...Well he is kind and a fair pharaoh. He thinks of others and-

"I said how do you see him not what he is." She interrupted me

I bite my lip and looked away from her...How do I see Atemu...I don't just see him as a friend but I don't know if I still love him the way I did before. But how do I want to see him now, what will become of us...

"I...I see him...Atem is someone who I want to be with though...I don't know if it's even possible. We are from two different worlds but I want to make this work. I'm ready to try for him."

"You do not seek him out for his throne or his wealth?"

"Those things don't make who he is. With everything that has happened I didn't know who he was. After one thing after another I learned about who he is and that is the person I am falling in love with."

I looked back at her, she stared at me watching every move I made. Within a second she nodded her head, she placed a hand on my head and patted it.

"There there little one. I'm sure with time you and my brother can be with each other."

"You approve of us then?"

"Not quite but I won't stand in the way if your heart is pure and you truly love him."
