The legendary Kunoichis chapter 5

Sorry about the wait. I was planning on getting this released on New Year's, but December was extremely busy. On top of that during January I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and I had to deal with some family affairs. So before I knew it it was February and by then I figured I'll give you all a lovely gift by releasing this on Valentine's Day.

As for votes Anko is in the lead, follow closely behind by Kurenai, and her husband Asuma in third. This matches my own thoughts nicely. As I'm having the best ideas with Anko at the moment, followed by Kurenai.

However, considering the fact Kakashi got no votes means I should probably tell you One of his twist to make things interesting. Kakashi if selected will teach Hinata Chidori as her Byakugan would be able to counter the tunnel vision problem. After learning it Hinata would have a competition with Sasuke to see who is better at this technique with each other for the rest of the story.

The rest of the teachers will also teach Hinata and Naruko awesome techniques as well that are distinct to each respective teacher.

Those are some good ideas? The first few could be fun short stories for later chapters. I was thinking of doing a chapter or two before the graduation with nothing but short stories in them.

That gives me an idea for a special after school lesson our heroes could get into.

The first part of the Sasuke question will be answered in this chapter. Nice idea to get the ship going, and on top of that I think I can use that idea to accelerate Sakura and Ino's training.

Fourteen:

Sadly, if I did what you recommend it I might as well write a whole other fanfiction. Instead of three Genin having one teacher all 12 of them might as well have four teachers. This is so different from the normal Naruto training method it would seem a little OC in the long run.

However, I was thinking of a Single joint training exercise when it comes to elemental techniques. For example, Asuma can help Naruko in wind, and Kakashi could help Sasuke and Hinata in lightning, Kurenai can help with Yin and/or Yang release techniques, and so on. As each other students will have a elemental affinity the other isn't good at, but someone else excels at.

ThegreatHero:

I know what you mean Anko was such a cool character, and had a ridiculous amount of untapped potential.

Even the Author of Naruto agrees with use on the subject, despite his writing saying otherwise.

Branchkk:

I definitely agree with you there. Yamamoto often gets overlooked as a Sensei in the long run. Especially since he arguably did the most work in helping Naruto with the rasenshuriken, but gets the least amount of credit out of himself, Kakashi, and Asuma. Plus, I find it quite enjoyable and sad that Yamamoto's

dream was simply to be excepted as a team sensei, but only ever got to do this with team 7 and even then all three of the students see Kakashi team 7's sensei.

Plus, the fact his use of wood style was often use more for utility and in a smaller scale compared to Madara and Hashirama meant we could've saw some pretty unique smaller scale wood style if he ever gets a chance to shine.

So if anyone knows of a good Fanfic of Yamamoto as a Sensei please tell he about it, as it's definitely worthy of a good look.

AreYouFrikkenSerious:

Going for the couple I see.

Kiochii:

No worries both of their influences will it be beneficial on mental level as well. For example, Naruko Will help Hinata be more confident and unpredictable when it comes to a situation. Meaning she's less likely not to hesitate and come up I have something new when plan A isn't working. Meanwhile thanks to Naruko's Friends influence she would at least try to come up with a plan before rush in, and try to learn more about the enemy every chance she gets.

Yes, if Anko is selected all of her students quit most likely get three different summoning. However, I am not going to spoil what there's summoning will be, but I will give a few explanations why most characters stick to one or two summoning animals.

Kuro Neko9695:

Yeah that's one aspect I am excited to right if Kurenai is selected. Kakashi and Yamamoto would have a teacher student relationship. Asuma would have that uncle relationship with his team. Anko would start out as a cool older sister that shifts to something closer to a parent. Kurenai on the other hand will be the mother figure Naruko and Hinata desperately wanted and needed. Let's just say mama bear has a lot of cute and awesome moments.

On top of this if one of these two girls is selected as the sensei I could still squeeze in some of each other's storylines despite them not being selected, thanks to their bonds.

Anaterasu54:

Nice pic.

Hardcore5432:

I realize that the first time I wrote a long chapter on my phone.

Anko would definitely abuse Naruko chakura and stamina to high heaven with not just training the blonde, but also improving the entire team and in completing missions. In fact, Anko would be the best in this category among the five options.

As for fighting. When Anko is done with Naruko she could theoretically win even against a superior opponent if the fight drags on long enough. on the flipside if Naruko wants to take care of the enemy as quickly and efficiently as possible Anko's training wouldn't disappoint her.

Yay some aspects of a femme fatale are unemployable when we consider both Anko and Naruko's personalities. As for Kurenai it would depend on what lessons Naruko focuses more on.

That is true about Kurenai Involving Naruko's training. Wind style and The fox are both well out of her wheelhouse of expertise, but not out of her close friends wheelhouse of expertise.

As for Anko she would definitely abuse Shadow clone The moment she learns how good Naruko is at it.

Asuma will focus on using them for team combinations.

Kurenai will use them for information gathering.

Anko meanwhile will make their training sessions for the whole team a lot better.

Considering the number of reviews, I received for this chapter I will give you guy what I mean by Anko abusing shadow clones, and even a special technique Anko has in mind for them.

By having an army shadow clone her team finish the D rank missions at more than five times the normal pace. This would free up potential hours for training, and give them plenty of cash for equipment. Anko would then have a few clones doing normal training exercise, and have a bunch attack her teammates. This would allow Naruko some experience on how to best user numbers advantage, and give her teammates experience on how to deal with attacks coming from multiple different angles and how best to deal with multiple enemies.

However, the most notable technique Anko Will teach Naruko to better use shadow clones is the Chakura transfer technique. The clones would follow her teammates and proceed to give them chakra until they disappear. This would give Anko and Hinata more than double their normal chakra supply in a fight. Meanwhile forcing Naruko to better utilize her chakra and how to win a fight with little chakra during training.

Hinata sat patiently in the chair waiting for Naruko to awaken. Her normal escorts have come and gone. Even if it seems suspicious Hinata was going to walk Naruko home, it is the least that she can do.

The orange glow of the setting sun illuminated the room. In this light the sleeping girl looked just like a princess from a fairytale. This image made Hinata think, "maybe if I give Naruko-san a kiss she might wake up". The mere thought reddens her cheeks and the young Hyuga tried to shake the thought out. However, no matter how hard she tried the Image lingered in her head, and this idea became even more alluring with every passing minute.

Eventually Hinata was set on doing this. If it means helping Naruko-San she would have gladly taking her place in the hospital bed. So a simple kiss seemed almost like pocket change in the grand scheme of things. Hinata closed her eyes, puckered her lips, and slowly moved her face closer to that of Naruko. Hinata wasn't even sure if her kiss connected when Naruko began to stir. Regardless of the outcome the young girl was overrun by embarrassment and nervousness.

Naruko fluttered her eyes open. She wasn't sure where she was when thoughts and images from earlier that day began to return. It was all a jumbled mess at that moment. The only thing the blond knew for certain was that Hinata was by her side. Naturally Naruko spoke the things she knows for certain, "Hinata-Chan".

This snapped the young lavender a girl out of her stupor, as she immediately gave her best friend a hug. Naruko was a little surprised, but she didn't hesitate to return the embrace with her own arms. At that moment both of them didn't care what had happened previously the only thing they knew is that their best friend was fine.

Naruko eventually broke the silence with a simple question, "I take it Sasuke won"? Hinata sadly had to confirm this, but at least she had some good news. "He did beat you in your match, but he didn't win all of his fights. After seeing him being so merciless I knew someone had to knock him off his pedestal. That's why I had to beat him, and I succeeded".

Naruko at the beginning was saddened about hearing her failure. Although this quickly turned around when the whiskered cheek girl learned Hinata successfully defeated Sasuke Uchiha and that her best friend was the only kid in the class to score all five wins, Naruko whooped and hollered in enjoy for the girl next to her. This action was quickly followed up by the blonde hugging the lavender eye girl and shouting praises and complements at such a speed not even this narrator could follow.

All that Hinata could identify at that moment was that Naruko was happy about her success, and that the bubbly girl she knew had returned. To her as long as Naruko at that moment was fine, it was more than what this Hyuga could ask for. Because who could ask more for their best friend to be happy and healthy, after the day she had?

The two young girls eventually left the school. These ninjas in training knew Hinata's father was probably getting a little impatient at that moment for his daughter to return. So they silently agreed that they couldn't make any stops between the academy and their destination. However, they both knew that it was best for them to stop when they saw Sasuke staring at the river.

The three stared at each other in complete silence, until Naruko broke the silence. " just because you beat me today, doesn't mean I'll give up. If I lose the next battle i'll continue training. If the same thing happens again i'll continue training. I will continue training until I beat you Sasuke Uchiha. Because how can I ever be deemed hokage if I lose to you in every battle"?

Sasuke then started to laugh, and despite the genuine joy on his face the two girls were slightly unnerved by it. In the whole year they have been in his class they have never heard him chuckle, or laugh once. The fact that Sasuke's laughing sound almost villainous didn't help the situation at all. Yet despite the uneasiness brought about by this rare event the boy had no ill intent against the blonde.

Eventually the raven haired boy stopped his giggles and began to speak in a confident, but arrogant tone. "I wouldn't have it be any other way. Because you Hinata and Naruko are my rivals". Those words stunned the two girls down to their core. Out of all of the possible thinks he could've said those two would have never guessed Sasuke would say that.

"You two girls have done something I have been trying to do for as long as I can remember, you unlocked my sharingan. Naruko during our fight you forced me to awaken these special eyes, and the feelings that this brings on are indescribable to me. Hinata you were the first one to ever beat me in a sparring match in the academy. This makes you the heiress of the Hyuga clan the perfect steppingstone to reach my ultimate goal. Heck, ever since I first saw the two of you I have always thought you two were better than the rest of the girls in our class, simply because both of you took being a ninja seriously. It is for these reasons that I declare that both Hinata Hyuga and Naruko Uzumaki are now both my rivals!"

Both of the girls didn't know what to say at first. However, eventually Naruko's hyperactive side kicked in and she said what was on her mind, "I wasn't going to forgive you for what you did earlier today. However, those words gave me no choice, but to forgive you sometime soon. Sure I might not let you off the hook that easily, but knowing how rare you give someone notable respect it's hard for me to stay mad. What can I say I have a soft spot for people who give me respect and praise"?

Hinata meanwhile just stared at Sasuke angrily. Yet despite these visible feelings of dislike Hinata spoke in a voice befitting of an heiress. "Sasuke you literally beat my best friend into unconsciousness, and that's something I would not easily forgive. However, if Naruko is willing to give you a shot, I guess I will try to do the same. As for me excepting you as a rival I would have it no other way."

Sasuke just grin in response to the two girl's statements, as he began to walk away. Yet before he left Sasuke spoke once more. "I don't care what you two think of me. You could see me as a lover, an enemy, or as a friend, but regardless of which one it is, I don't care. All I seek from the two of you are strong rivals, nothing more nothing less"

When the boy was out of earshot Hinata spoke angrily at Naruko. "How could you forgive that guy?! Seeing him punch you well past the end of the fight made me angrier then what I can describe. The anger I felt seeing you get hurt for no good reason was only surpassed by one moment in my life. So I ask you why your trying to forgive that jerk?"

Naruko replied in a serious voice that Hinata rarely heard from her best friend, "because I am tired of holding in grudges!" Hinata was stunned by that one simple sentence. Seeing the look of confusion of her friends face Naruko continued.

"Ever since the day I was born the villagers saw me as a monster, and I don't know why? Some have done things that are criminal regardless of how you looked at it, but others just ignore the tragedies I was facing as if I didn't exist, or deserved it. So to get back at them I started doing pranks, but all that did was get me into trouble, give them a reason to punish me, and barely did anything to fill the pit in my heart. I eventually became tired of feeling vengeful for everyone I saw, but trying to let those feelings go is harder than I could describe. Yet for the people I care for I would do it a billion times without question."

"Teuchi and his daughter gave me food when I was starving, treated me like an old friend, and they are even teaching me how to cook. Jiji is like a grandfather to me. Iruka sensei is the first guy who treat me like a normal kid and student. All the while going beyond the call of duty of a teacher when needed. All those people love this Village with all their hearts, so the least I can do is forgive the people within it".

"Besides there is one thing I love about this place that overcomes all the dislike I felt towards the people within it, you. How can I be angry at the entire village when it's the same place I met my best friend! If Konoha could make someone as awesome and wonderful as you Hinata-Chan, then The people here can't be all bad".

Hinata after hearing Naruko's words suddenly had a blush on her face. However, she didn't care or seem to notice because Naruko had successfully done something spectacular that she wasn't sure was even possible. Naruko Uzumaki had raised her respect and admiration for her blonde friend by leaps and bounds. To the point the young heiress was left speechless.

Naruko broke the silence, "come on Hinata-Chan let's hurry to Ramen Ichiraku for some celebratory noodles. If we're lucky we might just get some before your dad gets too angry". Hinata just giggled and began to run after her best friend. Both unaware that this day wouldn't be as significant compared to later that week.

The next day

Before the students went on break the teachers at the Academy came up with a special exercise. After seeing the scores, they wanted to see how each of their classes compare in real time so they decided to do some basic exercises. A simple early morning run, followed up by two sparring match seems like an easy gauge for their students.

At first things seem to be going normally for their run. Kiba, and Sasuke we're nearing the head of the pack, although one or two students from the other classes weren't making it easy. Naruko meanwhile was doing above average in her run, because she planned to make a comeback victory in this race. Yet, when Hinata started to lag behind Naruko slowed down to stay with her.

In a worried voice Naruko asked, "why are you so out of breath already Hinata"? The Young Hyuga replied with, "it's my injuries from yesterday, the nurse said to take it easy during training. Apparently she wasn't kidding". Naruko simply nodded as the two slowed down, and begin to talk. One by one the rest of their grade eventually started to get ahead of them. Until only one girl remained behind them.

When they were close it only took one look for Naruko to be interested in this girl. Despite the fact this brown haired kunoichi was clearly falling behind, the look on her was nothing sort of determined to the highest caliber. Yet despite this fact she was huffing and sweating indicated this girl would likely not reach the end of the run. Luckily our heroes were there to cheer her up.

"My name is Naruko Uzumaki, and this is my best friend Hinata. What's your name"? The brown eyed girl seamed unusually surprise by this greeting, yet after a few awkward seconds she responded, "my name is Yakumo Kurama".

Hinata' eyes opened in realization, and with one quick look at Yakumo outfit only confirmed her suspicions. "You're the heiress of a big clan as well"?! The brown and blonde haired girl seem surprised that Hinata was able to figure that out. Hinata began to blush as she gave her explanation. "You see many clan heads and notable officials meet up with my father constantly, and I got curious who all these people coming in and out of my house were. So I cracked open a book to learn about who these guest was. Apparently the Kurama clan was one of the big-name clans when the village was founded and many members of this clan has on kimonos with distinct colored collars, or at least similar outfits".

Naruko took a closer look at Yakumo and say Hinata wasn't joking about the outfit. Yakumo had on an expensive looking purple shirt with kimono like sleeves, and had a green caller. Yet despite this apparent wealth the girl's words had none of the arrogance and confidence associated with it. "I am nothing too special. Besides I have been having a lot of bad luck recently, I don't want you to be affected by it. If you don't believe me just ask the rest of my class". Yet these words only made Naruko and Hinata want to stay by this girl even more.

Yakumo might not want to admit it, or show it but she had an all too familiar Black cloud hanging over her head. Hinata could tell she was not meeting her parent's expectations, simply by Yakumo's posture. Naruko could tell she was lonely and craved company simply by the look in her eye. However, both of them could tell Yakumo wasn't the best in her class, but she was determined to change this fact. Who were they to leave a similar soul in the dust without attempting to clear away her sorrows.

The two began to chit chat, and often try to add Yakumo into their conversation. The brown haired girl simply kept to herself, but she gave in, and began to add into their discussions. Yakumo didn't want to admit it but she was having a blast talking in laughing to some gal pals. Yet The laughter only increased win someone finally made their final lap.

Sasuke Uchiha was nearing the finish line sweating buckets and gasping for air. A few teachers asked him if he was OK before that, but he just brushed their worries aside. Despite his exhaustion he kept up his stellar pace and even sped up if someone was trying to pass him. His body's exhaustion eventually caught up to Sasuke the moment he reaches the finish line. The moment he secured his first place position in the race the boy finally collapsed.

The teachers quickly checked on the boy and saw he was simply exhausted and that his wounds from yesterday we're starting to open up. Unluckily for the Uchiha two of his fan girls showed up and promptly picked him up and dragged him to the nurse's office. Sasuke desperately try to escape their grasp and walk away, but Sakura's and Ino's grips were simply too powerful. Meanwhile he didn't even have the energy left to complain.

Naruko couldn't help but laugh at her rival's current predicament, and promptly ask Hinata a question. "So Hinata do you think Sasuke would consider this a victory or defeat". The blue haired girl simply shrugged her shoulders and said "likely both".

Slowly but surely everyone else was crossing the finish line in decent shape. Yakumo just stared on while huffing and puffing for air. Her will was still holding up strong, but her body was simply not keeping up. She was gasping for air as her muscles ache. However, unlike all the other times where her body gave in, this time she had two new friends cheering her on.

With every step Naruko and Hinata were trying their best to cheer her up and distract her from the exhaustion she was feeling. Yakumo knew she had already set her best record three laps ago, but it was still a few laps short from the amount they were asked to do. Eventually Yakumo lost track of how far she went just so she can focus more on going further than her body would allow. Despite the little voice inside of her trying to convince her to give up, the blonde next to her was shouting three times as loud.

After Kaguya who's how many steps Yakumo was finally ready to throw in the towel. "I'm not sure how much further I can go you guys. If I do one more lap it feels like I'll pass out. I am going to call it..." yet before she can finish her sentence one of the teachers at the finish line spoke up. "Finally done. Every student has cross the finish line, and after that workout you girls earned yourself a break".

Yakumo couldn't believe it she actually did it. All throughout the year she never came close to doing the same amount of laps as everyone else. She was in so much shock she forgot all about her exhaustion as she walked to the bench. However, when she reached her destination she promptly collapsed into her seat, pulled out a bottle of water, and started guzzling it down as if she were just walking through a desert.

After a little bit Naruko asked a question to Yakumo. "So what type of stuff does your clan do? I know Hinata's clan are really good at hand to hand combat and can do some weird stuff with their eyes such as see far away, but I don't know too much about other clans".

When the brown haired girl finish her drink she responded. "My clan specialize in genjutsu. To the point every member of my family has a notable talent for it at some level. We were so good at it almost half the genjutsu created in the land of fire can be traced back to the Kurama clan in some way. If you want proof of this just look at me. I managed to score the top spot in my class in genjutsu"

Naruko was nothing short of impressed by the Kurama clan and Yakumo's accomplishments. What a whistle the blonde spoke her mind," wow you must be one of the best students in our grade then. Heck your entire family must be filled with power houses. Can we try training with you sometime? Me and Hinata only scored about average in that area, and I am sure if you train with us we can help improve your stamina".

Yakumo shook her head and replied in a sad voice. "My clean or nothing too special. My clan has been a decline for decades, and although my genjutsu is excellent I am dead last. I would probably just hold you two back. Although if you give me a few years I am sure I can catch up".

Naruko simply replied with, "this only makes me want to train with you more. Me and Hinata-Chan we're near the bottom of our class for a long time, but after training with each other we turned it around. I am sure we can help you to.

Before Yakumo could reply the teachers spoke up and announced they are moving to the sparring arena. The young Kurama clan girl simply let out a deep breath and said, "you'll see what I mean very soon".

1234567890

In their sparring session with the other class Hinata and Naruko did better than what they thought. Hinata even with her injuries took down her opponent before they can even land more than a punch or two. Naruko matches meanwhile simply dragged on before Naruko started out matching her enemies. Apparently the blonde wanted to see how well the other class was in a fight, and was playing to her advantages to be safe. These victories sadly did not extend to their new friend.

Yakumo battled against Sakura and Choji. The Akimichi boy didn't want to hurt her so he only gave out a light punch, yet it was still enough to easily send her to the ground. Eventually Yakumo was forced to forfeit due to exhaustion. Her battle with Sakura was even more one-sided. The pink haired girl quickly recovered from every punch Yakumo landed, and every blow Sakura landed seemed like the girl had super strength based off the heiress reactions. In the end Yakumo was forced to leave the ring in same, and Sakura left showing off her biceps.

"See what I mean. My physical skills are practically nonexistent, and ninjutsu isn't too far behind. Although, I am sure if I can improve my genjutsu enough I could still become a fantastic Kunoichi. So it's best you two don't waste your time sparring with me like the rest of my class". Yakumo words weren't fooling anyone, not even herself. That's why Hinata took charge and spoke uplifting words.

"That's the reason why me and Naruko-Chan want to train with you. We started out near the bottom of our class, but after training with each other we approved by leaps and bounds. So maybe we can do the same thing with you, and even if you are as lackluster as you say, we can at least make a friend".

Yakumo was moved by Hinata's words and started to tear up. However, this illusion specialist never learned if her new friend saw those tears, because at that moment class was let out and Naruko dragged her off to one of their favorite training spots. Regardless of what that day might bring Yakumo would remember it fondly.

12344566790

The blonde brought her new friend to a small patch of grass not too far away from the Academy. It had a few trees and bushes to block most people passing by from seeing them. However, it was still close enough to the main roads to easily get back to the village. There were even a few buildings with in eye sight so they can easily find shelter just in case if it rains. This area even had an abandoned coy pond to make it look fancier.

Naruko eagerly spoke up, "So Yakumo with your performance earlier today the only thing I can think of to help you is some physical exercise, or maybe asking a professional to help. However, we haven't saw what you can do in the other two categories'. Care to demonstrate for your adoring audience". With those words said the young girl finished with a bow.

Yakumo chuckled at the display, but she quickly got serious as she tried to perform the clone technique. However, after about a minute of effort she only manage to create a crude drawing re-creation of herself, that was flat, and quickly fell over and then disappeared. Naruko kept her chin and said, "you were clearly putting in the effort and had the hand signs down. So maybe you're using too much chakra, like I do"?

"I highly doubt that Naruko-Chan. I saw the whole thing with my Byakugan, and she was definitely using the right amount of chakra, and was even manipulating it correctly. However, the weird part was Yakumo's clone was manifesting as if it was only receiving 1/100 of the chakra needed. I have never seen or heard of anything like it".

Yakumo let out a heavy sigh thanks to this bad news. Yet she perked up immediately when she realized she would be demonstrating her genjutsu next. Following this thought the young girl started to look through her bag and explain how illusions worked.

"Genjutsu is the art of creating illusion. Most genjutsu work by inserting a small amount of chakra into the enemy and then manipulating their mind to mess with their mental faculties. Some can even do it on a large scale by messing with light, temperatures, moisture, and atmospheric pressures. However, these genjutsu are normally simple in nature and can easily be dispelled if given the opportunity".

The heiresses of the Kurama clan paused in her explanation when she finally found what she was looking for. With a flourish she pulled out a beautiful picture of a tree." However, if a shinobi wants to create a more complex illusion that cannot easily be broken out of they often need some sort of medium. Shinobi from the land of sound likes to use bells, or Instruments. The Uchiha can use their eyes to create illusions, but some are so good at it they can use any part of their body to perform high level genjutsu. I personally use art I created as a medium, and that's why I pulled this one out".

Naruko expression was nothing sort of impressed when she said, "so you're going to put a Genjutsu on one of us to make you think you're a tree". Yakumo simply laughed when she said, "you both are already under one". Just like that both girls heard the sound of snapping fingers behind them. After a few blinks they both realize the two of them were talking to a tree in front of them and Yakumo was right behind them throughout her entire explanation on genjutsu.

Naruko at that moment went from impressed to absolutely flabbergasted. She was so amazed and surprise the blonde hair girl started talking a mile a minute. Neither girl could understand what she was saying, but luckily her best friend got the main idea on what Naruko was trying to communicate. "So Yakumo what's your best Jutsu? Mine is the palm bottom, and Naruko's is the transformation technique". Naruko at that moment started to talk normally again, "the first time I got Hinata to uses that technique I had a bruise all day. As for me, I'm so good at the transformation technique I created my own variant called the sexy jutsu. Every time I use it every male and Hinata for some reason starts to bleed through their nose".

With rosy cheeks Hinata desperately wanted to change the topic. "So Yakumo what's your best"?! Luckily for the currently red girl Yakumo replied.

"My best technique is called the inner world manifestation. It's A ranked genjutsu, but despite its rank the technique isn't super useful. As long as I have a decent understanding of a target they will see their surroundings as if there were in their inner world. This will extend to anyone close by when the jutsu is cast, and it's one of the hardest Genjutsu my clan created to free yourself from".

At that moment Naruko raised her hand and asked, "what is an inner world"? Yakumo quickly responded; "an inner world is a location that reflects once mind, spirit, history, and emotional state. For example, mine is filled every picture I effort painted, and has roads going in all directions. This technique is used to either assess their enemies mental state, or give oneself the mental home-field advantage. I personally have a unconventional use for it, as I can use any picture soon in my inner world to act as a catalyst for all my other genjutsu".

Naruko next words were nothing short of her highest praise. "Wow you're incredible! I am pretty sure you're the only student currently in the Academy that can perform an A ranked technique. I see what you mean by becoming a great Kunoichis now. If you're that good at Genjutsu now you could definitely take out chunin with just illusions in a couple of years. Now let's see that high level genjutsu in action"!

Yakumo cheeks were glowing from the praise. The joy Yakumo felt at that moment gave her a smile that stretch from ear to ear. Those two things made the brown hair girl look adorable to the two girls seeing her. Yet despite what she's feeling Yakumo had to say, "no".

She was temporary flustered, but Yakumo were still able to get out a reply. "The inner world manifestation requires someone I know extremely well to be close by. Since I don't feel comfortable to bring out my own inner world, and if I try it on one of you it would take a little while to prepare". Hinata and Naruko simply shrugged their shoulders and said in unison, "we can wait, spending time with new and old friends will make time fly by".

Hinata spoke up next," while we wait let's do some training. I could help show you some moves that can make up for your lack of muscles, and Naruko-Chan can help you work on your stamina. Trust me even if 1% of my best friend's endurance rubs off on you you'll be set. In the time me and Naruko are sparring you can work on this". The Hyuga ended her sentence by pulling out the sheet of paper.

With a skeptical eyebrow raise the lavender a girl continued. "This is chakra paper. If you put chakra into this item, it will determine your chakra affinity. Plus, I have the feeling if you do this it will help shed more light on your problems". Yakumo did as instructed. Surprisingly unlike most ninjutsu training Yakumo saw the paper got wet with the barest amount of chakra. For once she didn't have to pour a bunch of chakra to do something other than Genjutsu.

"If the paper gets soaked that means you have an affinity for water style. The first step to mastering water style is to cause some effects of your choosing on the water surface". With that Yankumo placed her hands in a nearby coy pond and a faint shimmer appeared around where her hands were. With this accomplishment Yakumo realized her new friends might be onto something.

Hinata saw the whole thing with her clan's eyes and was surprised by what she saw. Both times where Yakumo was testing out her water affinity she was using about the same amount as herself during her lightning style training. This meant when Yakumo was using chakra to increase her physical abilities and perform ninjutsu she needed to use a ridiculous amount to get the same results as everyone else despite her ridiculous energy control. Yet whenever Yakumo attempts a chakra exercise or uses a genjutsu this problem is nowhere to be found.

They worked on their Nature transformation, sparred a little, and even ran all the way to Naruko's favorite restaurant. Yet even though Yakumo was so exhausted she drink 2 cups of water almost immediately after sitting down it was the best day she had in quite a while. She had two good friends, and was actually making small progress in areas outside of Genjutsu, and to Yakumo this was a dream come true. Yet despite her exhaustion Yakumo kept her promise earlier that day.

The girls quickly realized the day flew by, but there was still enough time for one last activity. With a single glance at Naruko Yakumo quickly realized what her new blonde friend was wanting. "Ok I think I know enough about you two to perform inner world manifestation. I will start with Hinata as I am curious how her inner world compares to mine.

With a simple nod from the Hyuga, Yakumo began performing the genjutsu. After a flurry of hand signs the world around the three began to change. The sky transformed from afternoon to that of midday. Next the grass and trees surrounding them became purple and orange flowers. Finally, all the buildings disappeared, and were replaced by an exact replicas the Hyuga compound.

Yakumo and Naruko were shocked by the sheer beauty of the land surrounding them. The two didn't have to say a word to make Hinata blush with the sheer beauty of her inner world. However, this didn't last long for Naruko when she had an idea. "You know Hinata I have never been to your house? So with no one here you can finally show me around". Hinata with a look at realization begin to welcome her two friends into the imaginary building.

Three faces in this world can only be described as excitement and joyful. Unbeknownst to them there was a fourth being in this Genjutsu world running free. Sure this creature long to have fun just like the other three, but the malevolence radiating off its face only spelled joy for itself and misery for anyone close to it. The monster was officially on the prowl for its next victims.

Yep I am adding in Yakumo into the story. You see I wanted at least one other team to join the rookie nine. This way I can incorporate each of the five teachers you guys are voting on to some degree. Plus, I needed someone who is ridiculously talented at Genjutsu and/or separate from the normal plot for somethings I have plans in the future. Making Yakumo an excellent candidate for a member of which would be known as the rookie 12.

On top of all this Yakumo as a character has a lot of potential on paper.

Plus, If you guys and gals don't like her I can easily put her on the sidelines. If my readers like her I can make her a main character.

Lastly The team leader voting is still taking place. Feel free to speak of what you think about this chapter, Yakumo, and who you want to see as Naruko's sensei in a review or a PM.

Have a happy Valentine's Day everyone.
