Vi and Caitlyn will be joining the holster of this story, I thought for a time, they need to be in it to this story to develop, There's no Jinx without Vi and no Vi without Jinx, they are soul mates (Doesn't need to be sexual), but just like real life, time changes everything, minds, people, groups and Society... Vi was found by Caitlyn after so many years in prison, It is a strong connection/reason to love someone, and Jinx was waiting for Vi for so long, that when she found out that her sister had someone, she could not bear it anymore (Ep7 bridge). In my story is where she recognizes that she is not alone anymore, that she could have a partner and start over again and heal the past wounds. That night, Piltover suffered a terrorist attack, a missile came from Zaun and it hit in the middle of the counselor's meeting chamber, on the impact, four people died instantly and the other four people survived miraculously, almost reducing the building to dust… Vi and Caitlyn watched everything from afar, they saw the missile ending their peace.
The young enforcer was crying, Caitlyn knew her mom was in that building, she had a meeting that night, she could not believe everything that happened. Vi was astonished, that night, years ago, just happened again, that terrible tragedy... The girl knew she fucked up again, she failed to save Powder and more people have died, War was knocking on Zaun doors, her baby girl was no longer a kind and cute sister anymore, Powder changed a lot… with that in mind, Vi started to cry uncontrollably on her knees, she no longer wanted to live, she has suffered enough.
"Your sister will pay for everything, she crossed the line, there is no turning back on this." Caitlyn said with hot tears coming down from her face, in the heat of the moment, she got up ready to leave.
"Ca- Cait, where are you going?." Vi was mourning, her torment has just started.
"Your sister must be near, if I start now, I can trace her steps." Said Caitlyn with determination wiping out the tears, the girl with red hair just got a hold of the young enforcer's leg.
"Let me help you, please!" she begged, Cait felt her heart hurt seeing the girl that away, but she could not falter anymore, a terrorist was on the loose, more lives were in danger.
"As you said, we are like water and oil Vi, I can't let you interfere anymore in this case, your sister will face justice." She turned her head away from the red girl, she could no longer face girl anymore, her heart was sinking, she heard Vi sobbing behind her back and started to cry a lot, Caitlyn left her, almost crying again, she held the tears with all her might, she jumped down to the streets, the only thing on her mind right now was Jinx.
'If I move faster, I can arrest Jinx tonight, she can not escape!.' She thought. The streets of Zaun were empty, people knew something dark was happening and were hiding, only the cold breeze accompanied Cait that night.
She was looking everywhere, almost thirty minutes had passed, she had not found the blue-haired girl, she asked some folks that she found about the girl or anything that could help, but no one dared to answer, everyone was scared, Caitlyn was shaking, if she found the girl, she would not know what to do, she had no weapon while Jinx was heavily weaponized, but she could not falter and let Jinx escape, she started to run faster deeper through Zaun, she was looking all the roads and passages, every detail and holes, searching for a blue pattern in the city, she was starting to lose hope, but something caught her eye, she jaw that giant rocket launcher turning the next corner, she went fast after that shark, turning the corner she saw the small girl… She was creeping around slowly to the last drop pub, Caitlyn was watching her away, she seemed dead, no reaction, the young enforcer could not see her eyes, analyzing how to proceed in the situation, Caitlyn saw the pistol strapped on her waist, that could be her only chance, the small girl seemed not aware of her surroundings.
'My chance' she thought getting closer slowly, reaching the girl she got her pistol and pointed to her head.
"Drop all your weapons and hands on the head!" Caitlyn shouted as bravely as possible.
Jinx haven't moved a bit, the taller girl was shaking heavily now, would the small girl react? She thought at that moment of that crazy tea party she made, Caitlyn had Jinx's weapon with her at gunpoint, but the blue-haired girl was so fast that she disarmed the female enforcer easily with a brutal force.
"I SAID DROP YOUR GUNS!" Caitlyn shouted as hard as she could.
"Shoot" the small girl finally said, the young Kiramman was taken aback by that.
"Wha-"
"I said shoot! you will be doing me a favor!" Jinx said turning to the young officer, Caitly saw her face, more hollow than anything that she had seen in her life, the pink colors of her eyes were dead, it was hard to watch.
"Please… Pull the trigger." The small girl said kindly, putting the gun on her forehead. Caitlyn was contemplating her choices, she wanted to pull that trigger, but she knew if she did it, she would never be the same.
"Let me help you with that…" Said Jinx, she took the hands of the taller girl gently, unlocking the pistol and leading her finger to the trigger. Caitlyn got scared the moment she touched the trigger, she realized she would be killing someone, she dropped the gun on the floor and moved away from Jinx afraid.
"Weak." Jinx said with disappointment after a moment of silence.
"Next time you better make the right decision, how are you gonna protect my sis if you can't pull the trigger on someone?" Caitlyn was being scolded in a dark situation, she saw the difference in power, she was no match for the girl, she knew in the future something worse than Jinx could appear.
"I'm not going to shoot you right now, that would make my sis sad, that's the last thing I want to do." Jinx said, taking the pistol from the ground and turning around leaving.
"You better move out now, Pilties are not welcome here." Caitlyn for a moment was just watching the small blue-haired girl going out low-spirited entering the last drop pub.
Her knees went weak, she started to cry a lot, she just wanted to shout till exhaustion, she was punching the ground, Jinx was right there and she failed the mission, her mom and those people in that building would never have justice like this.

Vi after getting back up from her breakdown, she took both of her hextech gauntlets from the ground and strapped them on her back, she promised to never leave Powder again, she will go to the end of this and never give up. She then saw Caitlyn coming out of the slums crying a lot, something bad happened, she quickly got down and reached her friend.
"What happened?" With that question, Caitlyn just embraced the red girl and started to cry a lot.
"I- I found Jinx, I tried to arrest her, but yo- your sister scared the shit out of me." the purple girl was trembling, Vi returned the embrace, she was scared that she had lost Caitlyn forever.
"Thank god you are alive, We are different Cait, but that's what makes us a good team." Vi said glad that her sister did not kill her.
"I will need your help to capture Jinx, we can't let her kill more people" the girl was trying to recover.
"I thought you would never ask again, come on, I think we should head back to Piltover, for now, to see if your mom is okay." Vi said with concern.
"With that explosion, probably not…" Caitlyn was afraid that her mom was dead.
"Come on, let me accompany you" When Vi said that, a lot of Piltover's forces were coming through, they were mounting barricades and fortifying positions, Zaunites panicked, they were hiding but that was their home, one of the officers was shouting in a megaphone.
"Zaun is under siege!, curfew is starting this night, for the innocent people who have nothing to do with the explosion in Piltover, you better be available to work with the authorities to get those culprits as fast a possi-" before the officer could end his speech, the tows folk were pissed.
"Get out of our home, we have nothing to do with that explosion!" Then in a blink of an eye, everything went to shit.
The police just straight up shot the man, those people that were hiding now were all out on the street, then the people started fighting against the enforcers with sticks and stones, Man, women, even children would not escape the conflict, the enforcers were using lethal force, Caitlyn could not believe in the massacre she was seeing, gangsters and small shop owners were now firing with their guns to the police, hell broke loose, Vi quickly ducked and protect her partner, they both went out of that situation going deeper in Zaun.
"I think our route to the topside is closed" Vi was thinking about what to do.
"I have never seen such ruthless action from the enforcers!." Caitlyn was still in shock.
"Welcome to the lanes Cupcake." Vi said with a dark acid joke, she got an elbow to her ribs from her partner, the red girl just raised her arms in a 'Sorry.' manner.
"I think we can get through in the next bridge from the other side of the town." Cait said, trying to pass through the panicked people.
"We better go fast then, this city will get hammered hard." the brawler girl said, in the confusion, she saw her sister being carried by Sevika out of the street and going to the woods, Jinx was unconscious, the girl had the urge to go there and grab her, but she was stopped when she saw that Caitlyn was counting on her.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go Vi!" her partner offered her a hand, she took it.
'I'm coming back for you Powder, I promise' she thought on her sister.
Vi was running with Cait to the next city bridge to Piltover, Vi saw something big running on the rooftops near them with the edge of her eyes, Vi stopped and faced directly to it, the thing was staring back to her.
"What the-" Vi was pushed and almost fell.
"Are you okay?!" Said her purple friend, Vi nodded, when she faced that same direction again, there was nothing in there.
"I-I must be seeing things." she said softly to herself.

Reaching the bridge, they were received by more enforcers.
"Halt! who is coming there? Piltover is out limits!" said the leader of the outpost.
"I'm Caitlyn Kiramman, an enforcer of Piltover and this is my friend" She tried to reason with the guard.
"What you doing here? ain't you the daughter of a counselor?" she nodded.
"Hmm you can proceed, but your friend is clearly a low life, she has no rights to enter." Caitlyn could not believe what she heard, she snapped.
"Clearly a low life? what the fuck are you talking about?!" The girl was angry, she was even swearing.
"Cait" Vi tried to part the discussion.
"People are being killed by enforcers like animals on the other side of Zaun... Aren't we all humans? They are like you that have fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters, what makes you think that you are better than those people?! let me tell you that your house name, money, and power are worthless if you think those people are not worth anything or not even trying to protect them at all!." She was screaming to the top of her lungs, she was completely disappointed with Piltover, she didn't even cared anymore.
"Caitlyn!" Vi shouted, in that moment the red girl knew her partner was the future of Piltover, that one day Zaun would have dignity and be a better place, but Caitlyn could not anger the wrong people at the wrong time, the girl was taken aback by her call.
"Let us apart, this fine gentleman will not let a low life like me enter anyways." The brawler embraced her enforcer friend.
"I meet you there" Vi whispered in her ears, then left her behind.
Caitlyn wanted to say something, but she could not, she saw the red girl now running again to the city, she knew they would re-encounter, but she was worried about the girl.

Vi was running through the rooftops of Zaun, her gauntlets were heavy, slowing her down but it was a good workout for her, she went to the highest building of the city, she saw how bad things were going, a lot of enforcers are coming in like an army, people were being arrested and others are being killed, the northwest was burning, Vi saw children running for their lives and hiding, two of them seemed like her and Powder in the past, Vi was way too far to help those kids, she saw an enforcer closing in, she was now praying to nothing bad happens to them, the grunt found them, she wanted to cry.
"Please… Don't do it." she was crying now, the enforce pointed his gun at the children, he looked back, he saw that his unit was not with him, he made a hand gesture to make those children leave, but then another officer arrived, he wanted these children to be arrested, when he was approaching, the 'good' guy went rogue pushing his partner of the way, they were fighting now, the children took the opportunity to run, Vi was astonished and relieved.
'Maybe not all of them were bad people' she thought with faith in humanity.
But then she saw how his partner got up and pulled his gun, he pointed to the guy that helped the children and shot his head. Vi gasped, she could not believe what she saw, they were killing their own, Vi got up, she was too angry now, she was prepared to get down and punch those faces, but then a big howl was heard through Zaun, she saw something big moving fast in the rooftops, she saw that one guy that killed his partner being pulverized by a giant claw.
"Holy shit" Vi saw a Beast with a big chem tech tank on his back, it went red and injected something on the monster, his claws started to burn, then he started slaughtering all the enforcers he saw, one by one, the Zaunites were afraid too, no one ever has seen that, the Piltovians started to flee the scene, the beast was taking heavy fire but it could care less, a big machine that the topsiders have built was moving and firing, the beast just went full head-on, he's claw opened that machine like canned food, he was devouring all the bodies inside.
'That thing I saw early was not my imagination' Vi thought at that moment afraid
The beast was alone now out in the street, he was full and satisfied, then he looked straight into Vi's soul, two kilometers away in that building, she felt her spine chill. She got up ready to leave, she heard that terrifying howl again, but now he was nowhere to be seen, the brawler was afraid for her life, she got to the parkour course to Piltover, it was really difficult with her gauntlets but she did her best, climbing the sewers pipe and going deeper in shit, she thought she was safe, that route was really bad, not everyone would have the stomach to use it, Vi would need new clothes, she then heard something coming from the way she has come in.
'Oh shit! Is that monster following me?' Vi was sweating cold, she was trying to run straight up to speed things up, but her gauntlets were holding her down.
'Shit, shit, shit, shit!' was everything she could think, she got her gauntlets from her back to use, If she was going to die in this shit hole, she would do fighting. She was now holding her giant gloves, she was waiting for the beast to come.
"I know you are there, don't be shy, I have seen what you are capable of," she said trembling like a green stick, one of her gauntlets is with a problem, Sevika damaged her baby bad in the last fight on the pub, it is really heavy to hold in guard.
Then one giant claw appeared, the beast had a height of two grown men, she got afraid.
"The fear in your eyes, I have seen it before." the monster said with a terrible breath, Vi was surprised.
"Wh- What the fu… You know how to speak?!"
'This could be my chance to get away without fighting' She never thought that one day she'd rather talk than punch.
The beast made a sudden movement, Vi charged her gauntlet and she did an uppercut on the monster's head, he stumbled a little bit.
"Who taught you how to punch?!" He's asked angrily.
"My father taught me everything that I know!" she said angrily too.
"You father?..." he said, which made him think in something.
"That's right! my Father was a Beast too!" Vi said proudly, the monster was surprised.
"Where is your sister… Hmm Pow...der?" The beast's brain was trying to remember something. Vi was taken aback by that question.
"Do you know her or me? If you do, you probably want revenge don't you?" she was ready to throw fists.
"I don't know… I feel you are important, Powder Important" He said frankly, Vi was not ready for that, after talking to the beast, she was not feeling so threatened anymore.
"Do- Do you have a name big guy?" She was trying to reason with him.
"I don't know... not important" He was confused, his brain was hurting trying to remember things. The girl saw his claw, it was labeled as 'Warwick 7'8'.
"Can I call you Warwick?" she said trying to be friendly, the predator thought for a moment.
"Don't mind... Wheres your sister?" he asked again impatiently, the brawler was afraid to say where she was, she didn't know his real intentions, but she was not dead yet, maybe he could help?.
"It depends what you want with her?" She was trying to know what he wanted.
"She's important... need answers." he said.
"Would you kill her after you got those answers?" She wanted to know more.
"Maybe…" he answered briefly, Warwick was making it difficult for her, he could kill her sister, but if she didn't answer he could kill her here, what should she do?.
"She is in the southwest of the city, in the woods, she is with a bad bitch, so be careful." she had no choice, Powder and Sevika had a chance to survive, Vi could do nothing against the Beast with one glove, and the sewers are the worst place possible to fight, she would die if the beast wanted, she is taking risks. With a fast movement the beast took Vi by her waist, she was afraid for her life, but then Warwick just licked her face and put her on the hole in the ceiling of the sewer, the predator then went off speeding through the tunnels. Vi was astonished by everything.
"Zaun and Piltover never stop to amaze me." She said to herself unbelieved, everything being insane since she left the prison.

Caitlyn was running to the explosion site, there are people everywhere, the building was hot, the brigade was trying to extinguish the fire, she saw body bags on the side of the road, her heart sunk in, her only thought was that one of that bodies could be her mother, she went back and forth trying to get the courage to check if was her mother. She asked permission to check bodies, the officer that was in charge nodded. One by one she opened the bags trying to identify those people, the first one was a woman, bald with something on her neck, maybe a necklace? she could not tell, it was not her mother, the second one is an old man with a kids toy, the third one was a man of middle age, who seemed to look good before the disaster, the last one was a pile of metal pieces and flesh, probably that creepy mechanical counselour.
'Where is my mom?' Caitlyn thought with hope, looking in all directions, she saw Jayce talking with Viktor on the other side of the building.
"Jayce!" She was running in their direction, their expressions were of affliction.
"Caitlyn" He hugged her, Viktor just made a nod.
"Where is my mom?!" She asked desperate, before the handsome man could answer, she heard a voice that she knew very well.
"Caitlyn?!" Her mom was behind the wall, the girl started to cry a lot and embraced her mom, both of them were holding each other for a minute.
"Ho- How did you survive?" Caitlyn asked her mom.
"I don't know, it was fast, in a blink of an eye, I think Mel Merdada had some protective magic, her barrier protected us from the explosion, but the rest of the counselors were killed." She said afraid trying to remember what happened, the girl embraced her mom with all her might, she thought that she would never see her again. Caitlyn saw Mel coming to the encounter, Caitlyn embraced her and said 'Thank you.' the woman was surprised but she nodded in respect.
"I think it's better if we head home now, too many things to process." The Kyramman mom said.
"Yes, we will end this mess, you better have a rest." Jayce said, both women just waved goodbye, they had a long day, very exhausting to be exact.
they were now walking through Piltovers bridges, reaching the rich neighborhood.
"Mom, the enforcers are invading Zaun, they are killing a lot of people." Caitlyn remembered the brutality she saw.
"You were there?!" Her mom was surprised, that's was a sign of disapproval.
"Long story mom… We need to help those people" she stated, but her mom was not happy.
"Did you see what just happened?! those people from below almost killed us, they brought this to them." She said trying to reason with her.
"No mom! It was only one person that did this, her name is Jinx." Her mom was surprised by that
"Ho- how? Why? how do you know that?" The Kyramman was puzzled.
"I know her, I saw her firing the rocket launcher… Her life was destroyed and became a mentally ill person, she needs to be stopped, we need to make the enforcers retreat before things get even worse!." She tried to talk to her mom to help her.
"Even if I wanted to help Caitlyn, there's nothing I can do, this crossed all the limits, I'm going to make a report and see if the rest of the council approves, we can only hunt her down and leave Zaun citizens alone, but most unlikely." the purple girl stopped on her tracks, this was not what she was planning.
"We could just capture her mom, she is just one person." She said returning to follow the older woman.
"Impossible, the piltovians will want someone to pay and to make an example, and this person you said is perfect for that, we can stop a war between Zaun and Piltover with this terrorist that you saw." her mom affirmed.
Caitlyn was afraid now, that was not what she planned, killing Jinx would make Vi cry, probably destroying their relationship. She was now just following her mom in silence, that was enough for today, she just wanted to bathe and sleep. reaching her house, she was received by her father that was afraid, he was in his workshop working when the explosion happened, he thought that something was happening, but he was not worried at first. Caitlyn went straight to her room, she saw her parents getting in a heated discussion, but she was not in the mood for that.
She turned on the shower and she let all the impurities go away, she never felt so good getting cleaned, she was thinking about Vi, how she has met this beast of a girl in the prison, how her story was fascinating and dark, she even feels bad for Jinx, seems like her life is hell, she was channeling all her pain in that missile, Piltover has his share of guilty in this case, no… In all Zaun there is something that Piltover is guilty of, she wants to change that, she wants to prevent that more 'Jinx' are made, that Piltover and Zaun can live in harmony and peace… But it will require a lot of hard work.
Leaving her shower, she got to her dresser and got her pajamas, it was made of purple silk and some rare materials, it was her favorite, Vi was coming to pass the night, she wanted to look good, she had a feeling, something that made her heart bounce every time she saw her face, she never felt like this with anyone, it's euphoric.
Caitlyn heard the sound of rocks colliding with the glass, she knew who that was, getting a glimpse of outside, she saw Vi looking pretty beat up, she opened her window.
"Are you okay?" She spoke softly to not alert her parents, the girl nodded, the buff girl then proceed to climb to the window, Caitlyn saw Vi muscles working with power, she was hypnotized, she had almost the same age, but the red girl was a powerhouse, that made her feel strange… her stomach was feeling funny, when the girl got closer she felt her smell.
"Oh my god… You stink!." Cait almost throws up.
"Well, that's what happens when the low life like me needs to take a shortcut to reach Piltover." Vi said trying to be funny.
"Can you stop calling yourself that?" She was not happy.
"Sorry Cupcake." Vi said being pushed to the bathroom.
"What happened to you?" her partner asked worriedly.
"You would not believe… Some beast was fighting back the enforcers in Zaun, he killed a lot of them, they had to retreat, at least for today." Vi was trying to explain.
"A beast? there's a monster that lives in Zaun?" Cait said not buying the explanation.
"I don't know, I never saw something like him… After the fight, he started to chase me, got me cornered, I had no escape." Vi stopped talking.
"And?..." The purple girl asked curiously.
"And then he started to talk with me." Vi said flatly seriously, she heard her partner crack a laugh.
"Vi you must be tripping, you need to stop using whatever you using." Cait said trying to be funny.
"No, seriously, he even knew me and Powder, I don't how or who he is, but he was asking about my sister, he said we are both important… I said where Powder was, at least last time I have seen her, I was afraid to die." She tried to explain.
"That's some… strange situation…" Cait said surprised, she have seen magic before but had never seen a Beast talking.
"Yep, you right, hard to believe… Hmm Cait your mom is ok?" Vi asked worriedly.
"OH yes! my mom is alive, I was so worried, but thank god, nothing bad happened to her… But your sister killed half of the counselors. They want her dead." She could see Vi's face being worried.
"How do they know that was Jinx that shot that missile?." The girl asked knowing the answer.
"I-I told my mom… I thought that she could help us but I was wrong." Cait tried to explain.
"Well, It's okay, they would have known anyway… Almost everyone is my sister's enemy now." The brawler said trying to be calm, but her partner knew she was worried about Jinx.
"Here, take this towel and clothes, take a bath, make sure everything is cleaned, I'm going to wash your clothes." the purple girl said.
"Oh, this is like a dream, we are like a married couple." Vi said trying to embarrass the girl, but her partner just turned around and said nothing heading to the laundry.
'Well okay…' Vi thought, entering the bathroom, she turned on the shower and let the water flow in her skin, she had never seen such a luxurious bathroom, she felt bad in being there, maybe she was not worthy to be there? she didn't know... She was thinking about pow-pow, how everything has gone wrong, she just wanted her sister back, taking care of her, seeing her smile again, she has suffered enough, and it was all her fault again, why she had done that?!, Vi just wanted to punch herself until she was unconscious... Now she uses that curse as her name, 'Jinx' is not her name, she Is Powder, not a bad omen!. Vi punched with so much force that she made a hole in the wall.
"Vi? its everything okay?!" Caitlyn asked worried from the other side of the wall.
"Yes, sorry." She said broken, she got out of the shower, got dressed in her partner clothes, she could smell her friend scent from the shirt, it was pretty good. She got out of the bathroom.
"Sorry baby, I made a hole in your wall." she said sadly about the incident, Caitlyn knew something was wrong, never seen the girl this low-spirited, it made her heartache.
"Ca- Can I sit on your bed?" Vi asked politely.
"Of course!" her partner said, the red girl sat on the bed, she never felt such a comfortable mattress in her life, now she felt guilt, she didn't deserve to be there.
Caitlyn sat on her side, she got closer to the powerful woman, she felt her in despair.
"I'm sorry about everything that happened." the purple girl was trying to comfort her partner.
"I- It's not your fault, I fucked up everything again." her face just contorted in pain, she was trying not to cry with all her might, but she started to cry slowly anyway.
"It's okay, let it all out." Caitlyn said softly comforting her, which made something trigger inside of Vi, she saw that she was not alone anymore.
Vi started to sob and have heavy hiccups, she was crying uncontrollably, Cait took her in one embraced and pushed her gently to her lap.
"I-I have passed so many years on that prison, fighting, sleeping on the cold, eating shit, and surviving just to re-encounter my sister, every second was just for her, then you gave me the freedom and I have discovered that my sister turned out to be so broken that I think there is no coming back for her! I just can't anymore!" Vi was shaking so much, that her partner had to get a strong grip on her.
Caitlyn was crying with her, she never felt such strong emotions, she had never seen this side of this strong girl, her perfect plastic life has no meaning knowing that people like Vi are suffering so much… Why does life have to be like this? people with so much and other people that had nothing, it hurt her so much.
"I lost my family when I was so little on that conflict against Piltover, Vander adopted us, I had to raise my baby powder alone, she was so kind and cute, had so many responsibilities but we are doing good, then everything changed when we made a robbery here in Piltover, everything went to shit and it was all my fault, I should have stayed off topsiders business as Vander said, Silco that bastard indirectly killed Vander and our adopted brothers, I got to prison and Silco got Powder and he broke her so badly that I feel normal compared to her, now Powder is alone with a crazy bitch in a ditch and here I'm on the most important comfortable palace in Piltover, I hate myself!" Vi was exhausted from all the crying, Caitlyn had tightened her embrace around the girl.
"Stop saying that, you passed through hell, we will get your sister back, I'm gonna do everything in my reach to make that happen." Caitlyn was crying, stunned by the girl's story, she could no longer see Vi suffering like that.
