Sevika felt too comfortable, the sound of birds and a slight breeze made her feel really good, she felt something soft and warm in her arms, she opened her eyes slowly and saw the smaller blue-haired girl sleeping with her mouth open and drooling on her arm. Sevika let out a quiet laugh, she was not even mad. After many years, she was enjoying the company of her partner, which made old memories come to her mind.

Jinx has just entered the gang, and Silco would only allow Sevika to take care of her. It was annoying at the start; people would look at her with disrespect because a child would be following her everywhere like she was her babysitter. In the first month Jinx was deeply depressed, she knew why of course. It was hard for her to watch such small girl being so crestfallen, she was now a member of one of the worst gangs in Zaun, Sevika tried several times to talk with Silco. She sympathized with the little girl, that was not her place.
"Last time I will say Sevika, she will stay, we are responsible for her now, Zaun is not a kind place for an orphaned little girl." Silco said bluntly with the dark woman.
"Sorry… It's just… We- we are the people responsible for her being an orphan." She tried to reason with him, but she was not sure if it was a good idea to tell that to her boss.
"I know, I should have killed her that night, I think would be better for her, a fast and painless death… But then I saw myself in her, the same pain, hatred, and tragedy but this time was even worse than mine, she killed her own family accidentally." He paused. "At first, I thought in using her as a weapon, with those emotions in her soul, teaching her how to use her pain in battle and hone her skills, she would be unstoppable, the perfect weapon." He looked out the window. "But the more I think about it, the more I see that I made the choice for the wrong reasons." He said, Sevika had never seen Silco talk with regret before, maybe some empathy?
"Let's give her a year to adapt, maybe she can help us with our work, if she does not, I'll take care of her myself." He said coldly, a chill went through Sevika's spine, she could kill low life scum like they are nothing, but killing an innocent child is just cruelty at finest.
Sevika nodded, she got up and left the room, she went down the stairs of the last drop pub, there were found the worst people of the undercity, thieves, murderers, and cheaters, it was Sevika natural habitat, she spotted the small blue pattern sitting with someone in the bar table.
"How about you come with me little girl, I can show you a lot of stuff, I have some candy where I live." The creepy stranger was talking to Jinx, Sevika saw that and her blood went hot immediately, she had no chem tech arm yet, she only had one good arm, but that was enough.
She went stomping in the creepy direction, she took his arm and contorted it on his back, she broke his arm and made him collide with the table, he was screaming in pain, everyone on the pub stopped what they were doing to watch.
"You better never come back here or cross my path ever again, if someone says that you were molesting some child, I will hunt you down, I going chop your balls off and feed them to you." she said threatening him, he nodded in pain and fear, Sevika let him go. The creep stumbled through the salon, everyone in there laughed except Jinx and Sevika, some people of the pub observed the creepy to the exit, he was in trouble, probably going to be beaten up or be murdered. In any criminal world, touching Children was strictly forbidden, and most of the time the sentence was death.
Sevika turned her attention to the little girl, Jinx was afraid at first, but then she just let her head rest on the table, the woman got down to her level to talk with her.
"Look Jinx… Don't talk to strangers again, if someone comes to you and keeps insisting, you go for me okay?" She tried to be patient with the young girl.
"Okay, sorry." Jinx said with puppy eyes.
"It's getting late, I think it's better if you go to sleep in your room." Sevika said getting the girl gently and leading her to the room. It was underground of the last drop, near the storage, Sevika room was on the other side of the hall, they slept close, Jinx entered her room and went to her bed, the dark woman was about to close the door, but then the little girl got her attention.
"Good night Sevi." that surprised the dark woman, the smaller girl for a month almost have said anything, she felt something strange.
"Go- Good night." she said looking at the girl, she was looking back at her with her toy bunny in her arms, her eyes had some life, maybe hope? Sevika could not tell…
She closed the door, for a moment she stayed still, then the woman shook her head, she went upstairs back to her business.
"I need a drink…" She said to herself, those feelings she felt were not good.

After a while, Sevika was ready to go to sleep, a storm was approaching, Zaun and Piltover were being covered by lightning and rain, she got on her bed and closed her eyes, she was tired, long day of visiting Silco's clients, making sure the shimmer was ready to be transported safely, bribing the right people to make the operation to run smoothly and a lot of negotiations. The conversation was not her forte, but Silco trusted her with it, he had other business to attend to. She was getting used to being the right hand, she sacrificed her arm for Silco, she won his respect… her mind was slowly going to sleep.

She was fighting for her life, trying her best to break free, she was being brutalized by several men, she was feeling so much pain that her body went numb, she just wanted things to end already, they were laughing about her she knew her torment was only starting.

"NO!" Sevika woke up alarmed, her body was sweating, she was gasping for air, she was trying to calm herself, she was having those nightmares again.
Looking around, she saw her door open, a little girl was watching her.
"You have nightmares too?" the small child asked her, the dark woman sighed.
"What are doing here?" Sevika asked annoyed.
"I- It's raining, the thunderstorm makes me afraid… I peed the bed." the little girl was trying to explain.
"Really? You are twelve and still wet the bed?." the woman said not believing what she heard.
"It only happens when I have a bad nightmare." the little Jinx explained embarrassed, Sevika closed her eyes, she felt empathy for the girl.
"Okay, let's change your bedclothes." she said getting up and going to her room, the little one followed her right behind, Sevika got new clothes and made the bed, she then got the dirty laundry and was about to leave.
"Your bed is okay now, you better go to sleep." She said leaving but was stopped by the girl.
"Ca- Can I sleep with you? I don't like to sleep alone." The small blue girl asked tenderly, Sevika had a little moment to register what the girl just said.
"Oh, hell no girl." She said trying to avoid the little one as much as possible, Jinx got attached to her legs.
"Please! I can't sleep alone, everything scares me, the nightmares get worse" she said crying with her lost poppy eyes.
'Why must you make this face to me?' Sevika thought knowing full well that she was about to make a mistake.
"Ju- Just this once, okay? you will never sleep with me again, are we clear?" She said hesitantly, the little girl nodded to her several times.
"Okay then… Go to my room, I'm going to leave this in the laundry" After Sevika said that Jinx went to her room with a smile on her face and was bouncing happily.
The dark woman was not happy, going to the laundry, she was mumbling to herself something like 'Little Blue Devil', 'Puppy eyes cheater' and 'Cute fluffy ball'.
Entering her room, Sevika saw the little one ready to sleep, she sighed, she went to her side of the bed. She laid down and was ready to sleep, she felt Jinx too close, so she just turned her back to the little girl and went away from her as far as possible almost falling off the bed, when she was about to fall asleep, the taller woman felt something grabbing her back, Jinx was hugging her, she could not believe it, she was trying her best not to explode. After a while, knowing the girl would not move, Sevika sighed again defeated, 'Just this once' she thought now going deeper into a good dream this time.

Sevika held that memory with affection, it was their first night together, after that night came several others, in the beginning, it was one day of the week, it was called 'Pajama party' it was something really personal for them, they would tell stories, and play some games together. Then after some months it was two, three days a week that they were together, the dark woman was getting used to the affection and having fun, after six months, it was every day. They became really close, it was all new to the tall woman, she never got this close to anyone… So, when Silco asked her about the girl, Sevika would just say "Sh- She's good now." "The girl is better than some members" etc. It was a lie, Jinx could not help most of the time, too small, fragile, and scared, Sevika didn't care about the girl not being 'useful', she was just making sure that Silco knew that she was doing 'good'.
Jinx was not afraid of Silco too, everyone else was scared of him, he's was the top dog, the cruelest man that Zaun has ever seen, but when it comes to Jinx, Silco had those soft eyes that made him look human, by his subtle movements and conversations, Sevika knew that this man had a soft spot for the little girl, she would make draws to hand over to him, she would visit the man on his office every day, Jinx made a mug with a draw of a monkey face, and Silco would always use that cup to drink coffee, he was not scared to show that he liked the little girl, Sevika respected him for that.

Jinx was now snoring in her arms, Sevika could not believe what this girl have become, the little girl that was afraid of everything, now could easily destroy buildings with her weapons that she had built from scrap with her genius mind, she was now the most dangerous person in this city. She made a declaration of war by herself against the world, Sevika knew that Jinx has become crazy, her past would always hunt for her and it was too much for anyone to handle…
'I wonder if things were different, if you were born in Piltover and had a healthy mind, what would you become?' Sevika thought knowing full well that Jinx had high chances to be one of the greatest humans in history. It was not fair, she didn't deserve to be discarded like that, how many talents and lives were destroyed in the lanes because they were nothing to Piltover?... That's why she sided with Silco to achieve the independence of Zaun, he had shady and cruel methods, but it was effective, he got a lot of power and money to make things happen. A lot of people died for that, but they had no choice, the topsiders would never listen to the people under their feet, only to someone big enough to make them fear.
"Good morning." that voice made Sevika come back from her thoughts, Jinx was now awake, her eyes were fixed with the dark woman.
"Do you always watch people in their sleep?" The girl asked in good humor.
"Only the people that matter to me, besides you seemed too comfortable sleeping, so I could not move and wake you up." The dark woman said to make the small girl be embarrassed, and that worked, the girl broke the eye contact, her head went to her friend's chest.
"I'm really that important to you?" Jinx trailed off and asked, trying to know if her friend's words were real.
"Hmm, maybe?" Sevika said with a funny smirk on her face. the small girl felt 'hurt' by the woman's response then she punched her ribs, the dark-haired woman let out a cry of pain because she was still hurt in there.
"You are lucky that you are my partner now." Jinx said 'threatening', getting up and stretching her arms.
"Yeah, I know… ouch, that hurt, it was a joke…" Sevika excused herself.
"So, you slept well? No nightmares?" Sevika asked her friend after recovering from the pain, she got up from the ground.
"No… I haven't slept this well for years, I feel refreshed." the blue-haired girl answered happily.
"Good, where I come from, people that had heavy traumas could only sleep well by being accompanied, we call it 'Soul resonance', we believe that our bodies can emit a frequency that can stabilize someone's soul, slowly healing the person." Sevika explained, the girl had a surprised facial expression.
"So cuddling and hugs can make me sleep well? Where do I sign up Sevi?" The girl said animatedly, Sevika was taken aback by how her friend called her 'Sevi' again, which made her heart warm with memories, she let out a small laugh.
"You know, you never told me where you came from, you are like a mystery book for me, I remember you had bad nightmares too, want to talk about it?" Jinx wanted to know more about her friend, the small girl needed closure.
"I-I don't know…" Sevika said making a quick expression of pain by remembering her past, Jinx felt her friend being confused.
"Look it's okay if don't trust me yet to share something like that" the blue girl tried to comfort her friend.
"No… It's not that I don't trust you, it's just painful to remember, I think some things are better by being buried deep." The taller girl said trying to explain, Jinx felt empathy with her pain, she never seen Sevika like that, fragile, the girl slowly came close and hugged the taller woman.
"I made a lot of mistakes, terrible things, I want you to know that I'm not going judge you, whatever skeletons you have buried, I going to be here for you for whatever you need" The woman never saw Jinx this compassionate, she hugged the smaller girl back, Sevika wanted to cry, but she held back the tears, it was not the right time for that.
"Thanks Jinx." She said trying her best to be calm, after a while, they both separated from the hug.
Sevika said to her friend that she would get her weapons back from here she hid them, Jinx face lighted up, she wanted badly her precious weapons, Sevika said to the girl to stay and wait for her, Jinx wanted to go along but the dark woman made her wait there.
'I'm not showing you where I hid your weapons because it's a good spot, if I ever need to hide your guns again, I know where' the woman thought, it was hidden fifteen minutes through the woodlands in rough terrain, the weapons were inside a hole in an oak tree, had sufficient space for the weapons, they would be dry and away from the dirty, she found it by luck trying to make sure that Jinx could not find them.

Jinx was waiting for her friend to return, it was taking a while, she was sitting near the lake, it was beautiful, the sun was getting higher now, it was starting to get hot.
"She left, and not coming back for you." Claggor was on the lake watching her, their voices started again trying to poison her mind.
"She thinks you are weak, that you are a burden, she is your enemy." Mylo was trying to make her mad.
"You should kill her and then kill yourself, we all would be together forever in the afterlife." Silco was between the trees. Jinx closed her eyes trying to ignore but she started to cry...
"SHUT UP! YOU ALL LIARS!" Jinx screamed loud trying her best to not break down.
"You were there…" This time something bigger was behind her, she turned around I saw the beast that was chasing her in the dream, this time she felt it was all real, her heart stopped for a moment, he was giant for her size. She screamed in terror.

"Jinx!" Sevika heard the scream from far away, she knew from who that was, she got Jinx's weapons and strapped on her back, the dark woman started to run back, the closed woods were hard to pass in desperation, she was getting all bruised and beat up by the branches and thorns, but she needs to return as fast as possible.
'More Enforcers?!' She thought, they must be followed because of that guy she killed before that was trying to hurt Jinx.
Sevika has returned to the lake in less than five minutes, there's no sign of Jinx or anyone, the tall human had a bad feeling about this, she looked around and found a trail of broken trees, something big have passed through there.
'What big enough could have done this?' She thought in fear, Jinx was 'good' in hand-to-hand combat but if it was a predator that big, she would be dead, without her weapons, she was useless in combat against something like that.
Sevika's heart ached, she was trembling now after a long time, losing the girl again like that would make a big number on her.
She left out the heavy weapons of her partner on the ground near the lake, those would only slow her down, she decided only to bring her pistol, the woman then started to run in the direction where the beast went, following the path of destruction.

After twenty minutes she still has found nothing, no beast or her partner… Sevika was anxious, every turn following the path that the predator made could result in her finding Jinx into pieces. She wanted to puke, her hands were sweating and trembling, she wanted to cry, she could not believe what happened, she kept going afraid of finding the truth, the girl was the only thing she had left now, everything that she has built through the years was gone, it was not Jinx fault. Sevika knew the risks, her sister coming back with an enforcer is what made everything go downhill, maybe Karma was finally getting to them, they deserved all that and more, but Sevika was not ready to let the girl go.
She was now seeing the end of the trail, there's a big clear space with a waterfall in a mountain, it was beautiful, but that was not the time to admire, Sevika entered and looked around, she saw the blue pattern of her partner lying on the ground, she panicked and run to the girl.
"Jinx! Jinx!" She grabbed the girl by her shoulders and shouted her name but the blue girl was unconscious, she checked if everything was fine, no pieces missing, no broken bones, no bleedings, her heart was pounding and she was breathing.
Sevika let out a sigh of relief, Jinx was fine somehow, she hugged the girl, she thought that she was gone, that she would never see her alive again, that messed her feelings.
The taller woman felt something big falling on the ground on her back, her blood went cold, somehow she totally forgot that her friend was kidnapped by a monster, she looked back and found something that she has never seen in her life, a giant Werewolf with a chem tech tank on his back.
Sevika was big, but that beast would make her small, she let out of her embrace with her partner slowly, the Werewolf haven't moved yet, looks like he's waiting for her to be prepared… Or to be away from the girl?
"I remember you…" The beast said slowly, Sevika was stunned, 'What the fu-' was on her mind.
"You betrayed me!" He said being furious, the taller woman knew that she f*ked up big time when a Werewolf wants vengeance against her.
"Look… I don't know what I did to you, but my partner here doesn't deserve anything, if you want to kill me, go ahead and try, but leave her alone." She was trying to reason with the predator.
"She is family… You betrayed her too." He said making a tic with his mouth imagining her taste, with what he said, Sevika knew who he was, the only person that she betrayed because their goals parted.
"Va- Vander? is that you?" She could not believe it, he was dead, she was unconscious when lost her arm, but Silco guaranteed that he was dead, at least it was what he said.
That name made the Beast visually confused, some memories came to his mind, he was not sure what that was, but that name made his head hurt… He was more aggressive now.
He launched one claw in the woman's direction, she quickly rolled out of his attack, Sevika was tense now, Jinx could be caught up in the fight, she taunted the beast to make sure that the predator followed her out in the woods, he was very fast. She had to roll out of his attacks several times, they were both alone after she got in a good spot with a flat surface, she turned to face him.
Sevika always carried shimmer to boost herself and her arm, it was essential for her survival in any fight, she only had four doses, she got two from her waistband and injected on her chem arm simultaneously, which made her go crazy, her arm was ablaze with purple fire, that made her reactions fast, made her stronger and tougher, but it was just for a brief moment, she had to beat the monster before she ends up without shimmer.
the Beast attacked her with all his mighty, but she evaded his attack and punched his ribs hard, he not even flinched.
'I think I need to fight with all I have' Sevika thought making her blade coming out of her arm with pink color energy, that would cut off his thick skin.
She waved that blade in his direction making waves of energy, he took all of them directly on his body, it burned the Werewolf, but he could care less, she saw how the beast's body was regenerating fast, not even scars remained. Sevika then knew that she could not win that fight.
"My turn…" The alpha predator said, his chem tech tank made a creepy sound, it got up filling the tube and then it injects something on his back, the Beast was enraged, his claw was burning with fire.

Jinx heard loud noises, something was off, she knew that something bad was happening, she opened her eyes, she felt terrible, her head was hurting a lot, she got up slowly, and was still for a moment, she remembered what happened to her.
"It was a dream?" She said to herself, 'No' she thought, it was real, she heard noises outside of that clear space, Sevika was screaming fighting.
"NO!" Jinx cried worried, she got up trying not to fall, her partner was in danger, she looked around, trying to find something to use, she saw her pistol on the ground, she knew that Sevika got her weapon, she took the pistol and made sure it was loaded, she then started to run to the origin of the loud fighting sounds.

Sevika was doing her best, she was focusing only on evading the monster attacks, his claws would cut a tree in half, if she got sliced just a little bit, would be her end, if her arm run out of shimmer now, she would be dead, he was too damn fast, Sevika was now cornered against two rocks, the Beast made a creepy laugh.
"You fought bravely… Time to die." The monster said salivating, Sevika was too tired and hurt from all the evading, her chem arm just went off, she would not have the chance to reload it, Sevika knew it was her death.
'I'm sorry Jinx...' She thought with sorrow accepting her fate.
The beast prepared his claw ready to cut the woman into pieces, but the predator had his eyeball blasted with a shot, Sevika saw the blue-haired girl running in her direction, Sevika was happy to see her face, the small girl was saving her ass. Jinx made a perfect shot, the monster stumbled crying in pain, the girl keeps shooting, making an opening for her friend.
Sevika took the last two bottles of the drug and injected it into her arm, the shimmer was burning her veins, but her exhaustion and pain were gone, she was ready to fight again.
'We can win this fight together' She thought, Jinx and Sevika completed each other fighting style, Sevika was the brawler, the melee fighter, and Jinx was the canon, they could cover their weakness, making a pretty good team.
The taller woman pulled the sword again, the beast left his back open to her, she sliced deep in his flesh. He felt a lot of pain and almost fell, he turned his attention to the brawler, ready to claw her guts out, but Jinx shot his face again. He was almost blind, only his nose would give him an idea where his enemies went, he regenerated fast, but the damage was too high, he could not keep up, Sevika was still slicing his body as fast she can, the monster knew he was losing that fight, he was trying to hit anything in his reach, he was furious, his rage got the best of his mind, he knew he had to kill the shooter first, she was the strongest one.
Sevika knew that the Beast would target Jinx, she anticipated his movements and run in the blue-haired girl direction first, she shouted to the girl to get away from that monster, but it was too late, the predator launched himself up in the blue-haired girl direction, he was too fast, the dark woman saw his claw going straight for her middle, he would rip her apart.
Sevika pushed far beyond her limits, her chem tech arm was burning bright, she jumped in the girl direction with all her might almost flying, she reached Jinx first and pushed the girl out of the monster reach, but she let herself exposed, she got her back scraped by his claw.
The dark woman was thrown away on a tree with brute force, it happened so fast that she could not register the pain, a lot of blood was coming out of her body, she could not move anymore, she knew that was bad. She heard a scream, she knew who that was, Jinx was horrified and paralyzed. The beast knew that was his chance to finish his enemy, he got closed to the woman, ready to impale her, but the small blue-haired girl got on top of her friend blocking his way of the dying woman, the predator saw the little girl eyes, she was crying, a cry so painful that made something on his head trigger.
The memories of a night, the surroundings blazed in flames, he heard some voice calling a name, a child, she was desperate, it was like her last hope for her life, she could not reach her soul mate anymore, she was now crying non-stop.
He felt agony, he could not move or reach for the girl, his soul was being crushed by all her pain and he could do nothing about it, he was losing his mind, slowly drifting into darkness.

Jinx got scared, she saw the monster stopping in his tracks and losing his mind, he was conflicted, he was saying 'Let me forget!' every time, his claws were resting on his eyes with visible pain, then he started to smash the trees with his head, he was trying to make his head hurt to forget his past… The beast knew if he stayed near that blue little girl the pain would continue, so he started to run on all four away from her, he knew he could not kill her, his mind was attached to her presence.
After the beast disappeared into the woods, Jinx returned her attention to her friend, Sevika was all broken and had a death sentence on her back, she let out a painful sob.
"No, no, no, no, please no, NO!" she hugged her broken partner as her life depends on it.
"Jinx…" Sevika called her out with a soft voice, she almost had no strength to talk.
"The rest of your weapons are near the lake, get them and get out of here, get out of this city, restart your life somewhere el-" The brawler was spitting a lot of blood.
"Stop talking! Save your breath, I'm not leaving you here, we need to get you to the doctor!" Jinx was shaking desperate, she could not lose anymore, she couldn't handle it.
"I'm done… Leave please, save yourself." Sevika tried to reason, she was slipping away slowly.
"Shut up! do you have more shimmer in yourself?!" Jinx was thinking about something.
"Out…" the dark woman answered losing conscience.
"Hey, Hey! You better stay with me, please!" Jinx grabbed Sevika's face to make sure she was still awake.
If she had shimmer, it could save her partner's life, the drug had proprieties to cure and close some wounds, but it had side effects, but she had none with her, only the bald doctor had more…
'Wait… Ain't I some test subject from that doctor?!' Jinx thought, remembering something.
"Let's try something new…" The blue-haired girl got the blade of the dark woman and made a cut on her hand palm, she made a squeak in pain, blood was coming out, it was red with pink.
"Here, drink this Sevika, please!" Jinx got her partner's head and put her hand with blood on her mouth, Sevika tried to avoid the stench of blood, the girl forced her to drink her blood.
'Please, please, please, make this work! just this time, make it work!' Jinx thought desperate, it was her last chance.
Sevika was drinking the blood, at first it tasted terrible, but with time it was getting better, her scars on the right side of her neck where she lost her arm were lightening up like she was using shimmer on her chem tech arm, Jinx saw that her idea was working.
"Yes! yes! drink, drink all you want!" the small girl made a cut on her wrist, a lot of blood was flowing now, Sevika was drinking a lot, she was famished, her pain was going away, she felt her strength coming back, her bones were returning to their places, and her fatal cut on her back was closing slowly, when the woman got her awareness back, she got away from the girl.
"Wh- What happened?!" Sevika knew she was dying, now she was breathing fine and moving out of nowhere.
'I'm dead?' the dark woman thought.
"It worked! for the first time, I'm not a Jinx!" The girl embraced her partner celebrating, she could not believe that she had not f*ked up this time, well at least not all of it.
Sevika was still confused, but she got the message fast when she had a lot of blood on her face and clothes.
"Did you give me your blood?!" the woman said disturbed.
"Oh don't be like that, it worked, you are alive, that's what matters." Jinx tried to reason with her.
"Also, you seemed to like it a lot, you almost emptied me hehe." The girl told her limply in Sivika's arm, Jinx was weak after giving so much blood.
"Okay… I think it's better if move out before that beast returns." Sevika said taking a breath, Jinx nodded, the woman tried to get up, but she still hurt, not everything was healed, the blue-haired girl helped her stand up.
"Let's get your weapons first, then we find a place to rest." The older woman said, she got her arm on top of her friend's shoulders, the girl thought in one place she knew was safe.
"My workshop is the best place I can think of, it's a hidden place, there's a lot of supplies, I can fix you there." She said with hope in helping her friend, her workshop was below the city, near the last drop, it was a mining area in the past, but now it was abandoned, Jinx made there her home, she could blow things up in there and no one would see, had a lot of exits and entrances, most of them were secrets with traps if someone tried to enter her 'house'.
Sevika knew those mines, she was there once to set up the place for Jinx, it was too dark and creepy, she thought that was the perfect place for a crazy teenager like her partner, maybe that was the right place for them for now.
"Yeah, I think that would work out, but how are we going to get there? there's a lot of enforcers in the city." Sevika made a good question.
"There's a lot of entrances, I know one somewhere near the city, it's a long tunnel till we arrived in my workshop, if you are not scared by ghosts and bats, we can work this out."
Jinx said knowing that the tall woman was not a big fan of dark and tight places, Sevika disliked those tunnels, the first time she was there she got lost, it was a damn maze, for hours she was wandering in the dark before Jinx found her, she got claustrophobic after that experience.
"Ye- Yeah not my first rodeo…" Sevika tried her best in being calm, but Jinx felt her trembling.
"Oh come on, don't be a baby, you are with me, I have a map of that place in my head." She said mocking her partner, that big bad ogre was afraid of some dark.
"You better know those tunnels, or I'll strangle you." The dark woman said in bad humor.
"Sheesh, I take care of you, don't be a meanie, I won't let any ghost get you." It was not the right time, but Jinx was having fun by teasing her friend.
Sevika ignored her partner and started to walk to the lake, pushing her friend with her.

Reaching the lake, Jinx weapons have not moved a bit, the girl was so happy to see her babies, Jinx took her weapons and strapped them on her back, Sevika could not stand alone, so after that, Jinx got under the dark girl arm, she was still bleeding from her back, but much less than before, Jinx's wrist was already healed, her blood made her heal faster than a human being, she got the blade to cut her wrist again, but she was stopped by the older woman.
"No, I'm not taking more of your blood, if you get too 'weak', you won't be able to carry me around." Sevika said worried about her friend, Jinx tried to argue, she was hurt by her 'weak' comment, but she knew the taller woman was right, she was trembling with all the body work out.
"Good, you said that the entrance of your workshop was near the city, where it is Jinx?" she asked, they would need to be there fast before was dark.
"It's before the sewers, I hope there's is no enforcer in there." The girl said worriedly.
"Probably not, but if there's any, we wait to become dark, then we sneak around." they got a plan now, maybe luck was in their side…

Or maybe not, there's a lot of enforcers everywhere, they were hiding in the bush, Sevika was getting weak again by all her bleeding, Jinx was trying to give her more of her blood, but the tall woman knew something was wrong, she could not tell what, but she got a feeling that something bad could happen if she drinks more of her blood.
It was now dark and raining, the visibility was in their favor, Jinx was guiding her to the entrance of her workshop, the population of the enforcers was reduced, most of them were guarding the area but they seemed exhausted, it was easy to get past them.
"We are here Sevi." Jinx said, the dark woman was not seeing the entrance to the mines.
"Where?" she asked, the girl moved to get out of her friend, she walked some steps ahead and she bent down.
"Here." she said removing some protection of a hole, it was dark and quite small, Sevika felt anxious.
"You're kidding me, right?" She was not happy.
"Look, I know okay, this is a secret entrance, it needs to be small and hidden, after we get in it, the tunnel will be big enough for us to stand up." Jinx said trying to calm down her friend.
"No, I'm not going in there, no f*king way." The older woman said turning her back and leaving, she was stopped by Jinx.
"Look to me" Sevika fixed her eyes on Jinx pink iris, it was hypnotic.
"This is our best option, a lot of enforcers out there are ready to jump on us and I don't want to sleep in the rain, I help you pass this entrance… Don't let the fear win against you, you are much better than this." Jinx was being frank, she knew her friend very well through the years, she was not a coward.
"O- Okay then, if I get stuck, you better have the strength to pull me out." The dark woman felt something different about the girl, like she could not say no… Was it was her lost puppy eyes again?
Jinx nodded to her, Sevika got close to the hole, Jinx was leading her slowly descending the woman to the darkness, Sevika almost didn't fit in, she was too big, the woman was getting nervous again, her wound was hurting a lot with all the dirty in that hole, getting stuck in there would be very bad for her, Jinx felt her friend trembling and breathing heavily now.
"Look at me, You doing great, just a little bit more and you will be inside the tunnels." The girl said, now Sevika could not stop looking at her, the pink eyes were glowing like a calm sea breeze, it made her feel good, calming her nerves.
After three minutes, the taller woman got inside the mines, now the space was bigger, it was all dark, she could not see anything, she looked back to the hole, Jinx was now entering inside too, being smaller and slim, she slipped easily inside the mine.
"See? It was not so bad after all." The girl said smiling, the taller woman could only see her pink eyes inside the darkness.
"If was not for you, I would not make here alive, thanks." Sevika wanted the girl to know that she appreciated her, the girl was surprised.
"You know Sevi… Could you be falling in love with me? you're being so nice and flirty." Jinx said trying to make the woman embarrassed, teasing her was Jinx's favorite hobby.
"Who knows?" Sevika said whispering and fast.
"What?" Jinx was even more surprised and curious because the woman was not denying or entering defensive mode like usual.
"Nothing… Let's get moving, my back is killing me" There, the old Sevika, Jinx was now disappointed, but she knew that it was not the right time for that, but she was planning to dive deep into her partner's soul, she wants to know all her secrets. She got under her friend's arm to help her stand, and they started to walk together deep inside the mine.

After a time wandering the tunnels, Jinx could see through the darkness, the experimentation that the doc made, gave her really good perks, she was fast, stronger, healed faster, she had inhuman reactions, and now she kind of have a night vision in her eyes, she feels like a super-soldier.
"Are you sure that you know where you are going?" Sevika was worried.
"Of course silly, I told you I can see in this dark, but even without my eyes, I would know the right path because I lived here for a long time." Jinx said making sure to calm the woman.
"You know… Your new pink eyes fits you." Sevika said out of nowhere, Jinx almost stumbled over a rock.
"Ar- Are you complimenting me? That's cute!" Jinx was amazed, maybe this ogre could have feelings after all, well is not like she was cold, but after so many years of seeing her being grumpy and blaming her for things that went wrong in the operations, it made a rift between them.
"No, I- I'm just trying to tell that you're cool, that's it." Sevika was trying to justify her words, but she looked to the other side avoiding the girl's pink glowing gaze.
'There's is more to it, I know, why you're being so cute lately?' Jinx thought, her heart was becoming warm thinking in all wholesome moments they have passed together in these two days.
"That Beast that attacked you…" Sevika was now approaching a serious subject making Jinx stop thinking about things.
"What about it? I never saw something that big, I get the chills just thinking on that, a walking nightmare." Jinx was afraid of that thing, something in it made her blood run cold.
"He is Vander." Sevika said bluntly. Jinx was speechless.
"Wait… Wh- what, how?! he is dead." Jinx was confused.
"When you were unconscious, he talked to me, he said that he knew me, that I have betrayed him and his family, you and Vi in this case Jinx, Vander is the only one that I made that mistake." The woman tried to explain.
"Wow… But how is he alive? I saw his body." Jinx was stunned by that information.
"Silco told me that he was dead, but we never saw his body again. That beast had a chem tech tank on his back, the only person that I know that could pull that off is the bald doctor, he probably got Vander body to make experiments." that piece of information made Jinx blood boil.
"She is lying to you, Vander is dead, you killed him!" Mylo was behind her back, trying to scare her.
"You exploded us all, your family is dead." Claggor corpse was lying on her feet talking, she flinched. Sevika felt her partner getting agitated.
"That monster is not me anymore, It's just a corpse!" Vander wolf silhouette at the end of the tunnel. Jinx wanted to run, her past was hunting her again, the guilt was killing her all those years, she just wanted to end it all.
Sevika saw her friend slowly getting out of her range, but she grabbed the girl and embraced her with the strength that she had left, they both fell to the ground. Jinx was on the top; she was having another crisis and the older woman knew that. Jinx was punching, kicking, struggling to get out of her embrace. Sevika felt a lot of pain, she was now bleeding heavily on the floor, but she held the girl in place.
"Hey, hey easy, breath Jinx, breath!" The dark woman was trying to calm her partner, but she was heavily agitated… After a time that seemed like an eternity, the girl got tired and was slowing down.
"Better?" The woman said worried, she was even more tired, she thought that she was going to die from the bleeding that she got.
Jinx after regaining consciousness of her actions, started to cry a lot.
"Yo- You should let me go…" She said crying her eyes out. Sevika gave a small, tired laugh
"If I have let you go, I would probably die here anyway… You are not alone Jinx; we are doing this together." She said trying to be tough and making sure that the girl could trust in her.
"I know… Let me give you my blood" Jinx said getting out of her friend's body, she knew her partner was dying, she had to help her fast.
"No Jinx, there's something wrong with your blood, from the moment you gave it to me, I don't feel like myself anymore." Sevika was trying to avoid the blood at all costs, Jinx felt hurt by that, what did she mean by 'I don't feel like myself anymore'?
"You will die without my blood, please take it!" The girl was trying to force her friend.
"NO, stop it! there's time, you can fix me on your Workshop, fast carry me there." Sevika was trying to reason with her partner.
Jinx was upset now, her friend was not making things easy, she got the woman by her arm to make her stand, a lot of blood was coming from her partner's wounds. They were close to her place, if they speed up, they can be there in thirty minutes.

After Fifteen minutes of walking, Sevika was reaching her limits, she lost too much blood, she was losing her conscience, Jinx had no choice, she stopped and put her friend against the wall, she took the blade of the woman ready to cut her wrist.
"No… Please, no blood." Sevika tried to stop her, the girl took her partner's head to look into her eyes.
"I'm not letting you die; you're going to drink my blood by my wrist or by my mouth? Your choice." Jinx was serious, the woman knowing she had no choice she nodded.
"Just a little, don't let me drink too much" She said, with that Jinx nodded and cut her wrist deeply, dark pink blood was flowing freely, Sevika started drinking it shyly, but soon she was sucking a lot of blood.
For Sevika it was delicious, like a nectar from the gods, she wanted all that blood for her, she was feeling no pain anymore, her open wounds were starting to heal, she wanted to devour that girl alive.
After a time sucking the blood, Jinx was feeling bad, her vision was starting to get blurred and darkening, Jinx pulled her arm from Sevika, but the woman tackled her to the floor, Sevika wanted more, the girl was desperate now, her friend was attacking her, she was weak because she lost too much blood, she was trying to fight back, but the woman was so much stronger. She got her arms and legs trapped, Sevika was licking her neck slowly to feel how she tasted, she took a deep bite on her neck that made Jinx scream in pain.
That scream made Sevika come to her sense, she was terrified with all the brutality she was doing with Jinx, she got out of the girl and went as far away as she could.
"OH GOD… What I'm doing?!" Sevika cried out, she just wanted to get away in shame.
Jinx after recovering from that scare attack, she got up slowly and tried to get close to the woman.
"NO! Get away from me, I'm going to kill you!" The dark woman was terrified and having a panic attack.
"Come on… It's okay now, it's not your fault, I let you take too much blood, I Jinxed everything, I'm sorry." Jinx could not see Sevika being that way, the woman was broken.
"You are not a bad omen you stupid! I could not control myself… It's better if I leave." Sevika got up ready to leave but Jinx jumped on her back.
"You're not going anywhere; you think you can go saving me and then leave because of something stupid like this?!" Jinx was pissed, she trapped Sevika's arms with all her mighty, they both fell to the ground.
"Now, Breath Sevika! Breath!" Jinx was giving the same treatment that she got, the woman was just shaking on the floor asking for forgiveness.

They both stood there for several minutes, Jinx was now taking care of her friend, she was cuddling the woman and passing her hand through her hair, making sure she knew that she was not alone.
"Are you better?" The slim girl asked.
"Yes… Thank you" Sevika said, taking her hand and making a comfortable squeeze
"We better get going to the workshop, you're still bleeding a lot." the small girl was worried, the tall woman nodded.
They both stand up, Jinx helped the woman to walk again, they were exhausted, if her partner was not dying, she would just sleep right there.

Finally reaching the Workshop, it was the way that Jinx has left, she pushed her partner near the balcony and made her sit. Sevika was tired, she lost a lot of blood and got more trauma. Her wound was a mess, a lot of dirt on that and it was closed and opened several times, she wanted to puke, all that blood that she drank made her feel bad, she almost killed Jinx, she could not control herself… She saw the small girl approaching with a medium box, those were medical supplies that she kept for emergencies, she put the box on the floor, she was not facing the older woman, Sevika looked around her place, it was pretty creepy, too dark and had a lot of draws… she looked to the girl, she was facing her with a gas mask.
"What you're doing with a ga- Oh shit" Sevika got up from the chair fighting to not sleep, the green gas was being used on her again, she got close to the girl, but she collapsed.
"Why?..." That was the last thing she said to Jinx before going deep into slumber.

"Sorry, this time it's for your own good." Jinx said getting the woman from the floor.
Cleaning and stitching that wound will hurt a lot, it will be better for her to be sleeping, she dragged the woman to the table she had, then she started undressing her to start cleaning and closing her wound. After she got rid of her jacket, she turned the woman around to have a better view of her back.
Jinx gasped, Sevika had a big mark of claw on her back, but what surprised the young girl is that her partner back was full of deep scars, old ones, but she knew they were not from battles, cuts too clean to be from a fight, it was from torture…
She had a lot of baths with this woman when she was little and not even once she saw her back, not even on that most recent one, in that lake… She felt her stomach wrap up; she was hiding this for so long that feels wrong to see now. She focused on cleaning the wound first, Jinx got clean water from the reservoir she had, antiseptics and disinfectants from her little depot, then she sat in the chair and started working on her partner. She threw water on the wound, most of the dirt was going away but she had to clean it with a cloth.
It took a time, but she finally has cleaned her friend wound, now she had to pass the products to disinfect, the woman flinched in her sleep, but after that it was good, she made it fast, after putting the products, Jinx started to stitch the wound, lots of stitches, one by one she was closing that open wound, she had practice because she got hurt a lot by making bombs.
Ending her work, she bandaged her friend torso, it became pretty good, Jinx was proud of herself this time, she got Sevika gently and dragged her to the sofa bed she had, she put her lying down, the girl lay beside her, that day was painful, too much to process, her hand went to her partner back full of scars.
"What happened to you? Who hurt you like this?" Jinx wanted to know her partner past, she was never this close to someone, she had Silco but he was almost her adoptive dad, Vi betrayed her with that tasteless enforcer, it was supposed to be 'F*ck the enforcers, not f*ck with them' Vi, they have killed our parents that day, how could you forget?.
But Sevika was a different connection, like something unique, maybe love? hmm, I think it's a strong word… yet, but it was something close.
She closed her eyes, the exhaustion got the better of her, she embraced her partner from the back and went into a deep dream.
