Hair

"Temariiii" a girl with pink hair shouted excitedly calling out to another kunoichi who was walking leisurely.

"Hmm?" Temari turned around and saw Sakura running towards her.

"Temari, since when have you been in Konoha? You're so mean to not tell us, Shikamaru!" pointed the girl at the pineapple-haired youth who was standing beside Temari.

Shikamaru just put on a lazy look without intending to answer Sakura's statement just now.

"Ah, I just arrived," Temari replied curtly.

"Hey, hey... where are you guys going now?" Sakura asked excitedly.

Temari seemed to think for a moment,

"I was going to immediately report to the Hokage's office, but this lazy boy said-"

"Kakashi-Sensei is having an inauguration ceremony for the new Konoha library," Sakura interrupted Temari's words, "That means... you guys don't have an event right?" she continued enthusiastically.

"Hmm... I guess so?" Temari answered doubtfully while looking at Shikamaru.

"We can only wait until Hokage-sama is done with his activities," Shikamaru confirmed.

"Good!, come on you two come with me!" without waiting for an answer Sakura pulled Temari's hand into the Yakiniku Q, the place where Konoha 12 used to gather.

"Hey- wait a minute!" Temari protested, but Sakura pulled her anyway. Shikamaru followed the two girls with a lazy look.

"You guys, look who this is?" Sakura smiled at a group of Shinobi who were sitting at a table and showed off the person she had just 'invited' to join them.

"Suna no Nee-Chan!" Naruto shouted excitedly.

"Ah, Te-Temari-San..." Hinata who was beside Naruto greeted him.

"When you get to Konoha, you should tell us, Temari!" said Ino.

While Chouji who was sitting beside him just nodded slightly because his mouth was still full of food. Besides that Sai looks busy drawing something.

They shifted slightly to make room for Temari and Shikamaru. There were piles of plates and drinking glasses on the table and some meat being grilled. It seemed they had been there for quite some time. Not long after, the shinobi were already busy chatting and exchanging stories. Temari listened to their stories while occasionally chiming in and answering their questions.

"Ne, ne... it's rare for us to get together like this, it's a shame if we head straight home. How about we play a game?" Ino suggested excitedly.

"Good idea, we haven't had fun in a long time. But what game can we play?" Sakura looked thoughtful.

"I know! How about the Pocky Game, I saw Chouji bought a lot of Pocky," said Ino, pointing to the shopping bag beside Chouji.

' Pocky game huh? It's clear we must have arranged for a kiss. If that's the case... lets break our pocky in the middle of the game and get back at them' thought Temari.

They didn't even agree on what to play, but the blonde haired girl had already thought of various ways in her brain to win the game without being trapped by any devious plans that Sakura and Ino had in mind.

"No, we can't possibly play that game, Ino. It's a pair game and our numbers are odd. Besides, Hinata could faint if we played that game," said Sakura, laughing mischievously.

"You're right Sakura, I forgot that Hinata was here," said Ino, laughing a little while looking at Hinata whose face was already red.

"Hmm ... then how about Truth and Dare," suggested Sakura.

"No. I don't want to join if you guys play that game. I don't want to get into trouble," this time it was Temari who expressed her refusal.

She already knew clearly what kind of game Truth and Dare was. And she absolutely doesn't want to get involved in games that force you to answer stupid questions or act out of order.

"Oh come on, Temari... we promise, the questions and dares will be normal," said Sakura coaxing Temari.

"Yeah, it's just for fun. No personal questions or weird dares," Ino promised.

Temari sighed. It couldn't be helped, after all it seemed that all of her other friends had agreed with this idea. Anyway this is better than Pocky game.

"Okay, let's get started!" Sakura spun the bottle in front of her.

Temari seems to be out of luck, in the first round the bottle goes straight to her.

"Temari, Truth or Dare!" said Ino excitedly.

"Dare," said Temari.

Instead of anything, she just wanted to avoid the troublesome questions that might arise from the two girls in front of her. And again, Sakura and ino had promised that the dare wouldn't involve anything weird.

"Hmm... what is it? Do you guys have any ideas?" asked Ino while thinking.

"Ah, how about… you untie your hair tie? I a little curious about how you look when you let your hair down," said Sakura.

"That's right, I'm actually curious too. I've never seen Temari let her hair down," said Ino.

"I-me too..." Hinata squeaked shyly.

Meanwhile Chouji and Sai seemed to be more interested in their activities than the chatter. Shikamaru just kept quiet, but to be honest he was also feeling a little curious.

"Ah, I've actually seen it before," said Naruto, grinning. All eyes were on him.

"Huh?! When did you see it?" Sakura asked while pointing at Naruto.

"Ah T-that..." Naruto turned his gaze to Temari.

"This noisy kid tried to peek at me while in the bath," said Temari.

" WHAT?!" everyone was shocked including Shikamaru.

Seriously, even if it's Naruto, isn't it too much? After all, isn't Naruto already dating Hinata?

"You guys calm down!, that happened when we were little! When we were kids!" Naruto tried to explain frantically.

"I didn't get to see anything anyway," he continued.

" What happened?" asked Ino.

"Of course I immediately flew the stupid boy," said Temari.

They all couldn't help but laugh awkwardly at Temari's words.

"Ah, so? You accepted this dare?" asked Ino.

"Okay," Temari answered shortly.

She just had to untie her hair, right? And it's not that her appearance will be weird or anything, it's just that Temari chose to tie her hair to make it easier for her to move as a kunoichi. Because long hair will make it easier for the enemy to pull her hair. Temari raised her hand and untied her hair, letting her blonde hair fall down.

Her hair wasn't straight like Ino's or flowing perfectly like Sakura's. Her hair looks a little messy and sticks out at the ends. But strangely, the hair perfectly framed Temari's face, making the girl look more mature.

"Wow, you're so beautiful Temari. You should just let your hair down," said Sakura.

The others nodded in agreement. There was a slight blush on Temari's face which she quickly covered. She wasn't used to such compliments.

Meanwhile Shikamaru... the man seemed to have forgotten to blink and he also forgot that they were currently with their friends. His eyes never left Temari's face. It was the first time he'd seen her loose her hair, and he admitted to her that Temari's current appearance was very beautiful, although that doesn't mean her usual appearance wasn't pretty, it's just that... with this appearance Temari looked much more mature and feminine and Shikamaru liked it.

"Sakura is right. You're so beautiful. Isn't it Shikamaru?" Ino smiled mischievously while nudging Shikamaru.

Shikamaru woke up from his daydream and immediately turned his face the other way.

"You don't need to ask again, Ino... just watch, Shikamaru hasn't stopped staring at Temari since then," Sakura laughed and joined in mocking Shikamaru.

"Troublesome..." Shikamaru mumbled but didn't refute the words of his two friends.

Sakura and Ino looked at each other and smiled in satisfaction. Looks like this time they managed to become Cupid again.
