Beginning A/N: Well, it seems like this story has been well received. So, I'm gonna keep going with this. But I do have some other stories out there that I need some serious feedback on if I'm going to continue them. And those stories include The Phantom of the Empire, The Avatar and the Time Patroller, Rosario Plus Dragon Hero, Daniel Fenton: Saurian of the Sith, and Maximum Ride in How To Train Your Dragon(Rewritten). So, if you haven't already, once you get to the end of this chapter, go and check out those stories and leave a review for those stories. Your feedback really helps me write new chapters to keep these going, you know? But now, with that out of the way, let's move on to the new chapter!

A T-Rex Meets An Amazon!

Izuku did eventually find his way to a town after walking down the path for a couple of hours and at first the people in that town were shocked and somewhat scared of a living, breathing dinosaur walking into their village, but Izuku was quick to ease their fears by, for lack of a better term, squatting down and using his front claw to write in the ground. In Chinese writing he wrote the word 'Jusenkyo' and gave quiet growls and roars as he gestured to the word with his head. Immediately, a woman, who turned out to be the one in charge of that town(I don't know if they have mayors in China or not.) realized that he wasn't a real dinosaur but was somebody afflicted with a curse from the springs and had told her assistant to bring some hot water for him.

Izuku was very grateful for the gesture as he changed back and bowed in thanks to the woman before asking where the nearest bank was so he could exchange his currency, since he doubted the stores or payphones took Japanese yen. After getting directions and exchanging his currency, Izuku used a nearby payphone to call his mother since his mobile phone had gotten drenched when he fell into the cursed pool. Once she picked up the phone and heard his voice, Izuku's mother, Inko, was naturally very worried for her son and asked him where he was, what happened, and if he was hurt.

He told her everything.

He told her about the bullying and abuse and how Katsuki was part of it, how the teachers and even other grown-ups did nothing to stop it, with some even encouraging the abuse, all because Izuku was quirkless, how Katsuki had destroyed his notebook that day and essentially suicide baited him. He also told her about how he was attacked by a Sludge Villain and saved by All Might, and while she was afraid for him being attacked and almost smothered to death like that, she was relieved that All Might had saved him in time. But he needed to take a moment to compose himself as he got to the part where he actually spoke to All Might, and what he had said to him that had finally pushed him over the edge. Both figuratively…

…And VERY literally.

~Flashback~

Izuku's heart was racing as he had just woken up after his near-death experience at the hands of the sludge villain, and he was both frightened from the ordeal, and in total fanboy geek mode after realizing that All Might, his idol since he could walk and talk, was standing right in front of him! The hero seemed relieved that Izuku had woken up, as the boy had blacked out just as All Might had defeated the villain using his Texas Smash attack.

"Well, it looks like you are moving around alright. Sorry about that back there. I didn't mean for you to get caught up in my justice-ing. Usually, I pay attention to keep the bystanders safe, but it turns out that this city's sewer system is pretty difficult to navigate." All Might explained with a laugh. "Anyway, you were a big help. Thank you. I've captured the evil-doer."

Izuku glanced to All Might's hand and saw that he had stuffed the sludge villain into an empty 20oz soda bottle, the villain's malleable body making it easy to do so while his now 'X' shaped eyes showed that the villain was fully unconscious. Once he fully calmed down, Izuku finally realized just what was going on.

'The most amazing hero in the entire world. All Might. The real thing, in the flesh, standing right in front of me! He looks so much cooler in person!' Izuku thought in excitement.

He was about to look for his hero notebook so he could ask for an autograph, when he noticed it on the ground next to him. He figured it must have fallen out of his bag when that sludge villain attacked. Taking a closer look, he saw that All Might had already signed it in neat cursive writing. Izuku bowed and thanked All Might for both saving him and giving him the autograph to which All Might gave a thumbs up.

All Might told the lad that he had to give the villain to the police, so he began to prepare himself to leave.

"Wait, you're leaving already?" Izuku asked.

"Heroes are always fighting crime everywhere. I can't afford to stay in one place for too long, as evil never rests." All Might replied.

'He can't leave already, I have so much to ask!' Izuku thought in desperation as he did something that he never thought he'd do.

And it happened just as All Might jumped off to drop off the villain with the police.

All Might felt some extra weight on his leg and turned his head to see Izuku clinging on to his leg. The boy's face was flapping about due to the force of the winds caused by All Might's fast air travel, but this stunt of his alarmed and somewhat impressed the hero. Mostly because he was surprised that this fourteen-year-old boy could hold on to him and not lose his grip at such speeds. All Might idly wondered if Izuku had a quirk that gave him the same gripping abilities that allowed geckos and other such lizards to climb on walls and ceilings.

"Hey, what are you doing? I love my fans, but this is too much. I'm afraid that you'll have to let go." All Might said as he shook his leg.

"No way, we are flying! If I let go now, I'll die!" Izuku managed to reply.

All Might stopped shaking his leg and said, "Oh yeah. That's a good point."

He quickly asked Izuku to close his eyes and mouth as he found a place to land. But all of a sudden, All Might coughed, and a drop of blood came out of his mouth.

'Shit!' he thought to himself.

All Might landed on a tall building and allowed Izuku to slowly disembark from his impromptu flight on Air All Might. Izuku was shaking like a leaf from the experience with his mouth dry and eyes lifeless.

"My whole life just flashed before my eyes." he said to himself.

After making sure the kid would be okay, All Might told Izuku to bang on the door and they would let him in. He could then take the elevator to get down. But as All Might tried to leave, he was once again delayed by Izuku.

Man, he's a persistent little guy, ain't he?

"Wait not yet, just one second." Izuku clenched his fists as he thought about the hardships he's had to endure. "Is it possible to become a hero even without a quirk? Could I hope to be someone like you?"

"Without a quirk?" All Might asked, his attention caught.

But he had no time to think about an answer to this question as he suddenly felt pain in his chest and abdominal area.

'Not now, dammit!' he thought as smoke started to rise from his body.

Or was it steam?

"People think I don't have a chance. Not having any powers makes me a weakling. My classmates make fun of me, but I wanna prove them wrong." Izuku said, not really being aware of what was going on around him. "Saving people is the coolest thing to do and be the hero everyone looks up to. Just like you."

But as he looked up, the smoke/steam cleared to reveal that in place of All Might was a man who was so skinny and malnourished he might as well be a walking skeleton. Naturally, the lad did the one thing anyone would do in this situation. He screamed at the top of his lungs.

"You deflated. Where did All Might go? You are a fake, an imposter!?" Izuku asked rapidly.

"I assure you that I'm All Mi-" he tried to say but was cut off as he coughed up blood.

Izuku screamed that it was impossible in response.

"You know how fat men at the pool or on the beach flex to try and make themselves look big and buff? In a way, I'm like them." All Might explained.

"This can't be real! No, All Might is a giant of a man, who saves everyone and defeats villains with a fearless smile." Izuku said, still in denial.

All Might sighed. He should have known that after the kid had witnessed what he did that it would come to this in order to convince him. He wished it wouldn't, but it seems like some secrets can't remain secrets forever.

"There's plenty of fear behind that smile." he said as he sat down. "I'm counting on you to keep your mouth shut. Don't go talking about this."

As All Might lifted his shirt, Izuku became horrified and disgusted. Spanning along most of his upper body was a terrible scar that no doubt came from a life-threatening injury. Izuku knew and understood that heroes risk their lives all the time to keep people safe, but to see someone like All Might, who was revered as a god among men, with such a terrible injury showed Izuku that despite having immense power, All Might was still human just like everyone else. It truly puts the dangers of heroics into perspective, doesn't it?

"Pretty gross, right? I got it in a big fight five years back. My respiratory system was basically destroyed, and I lost my whole stomach. Surgeries have worn me out. It can't be fixed. Right now, I can only do hero work for about three hours a day." All Might explained.

"Was that the fight with Toxic Chainsaw?" Izuku asked.

"Oh, you know your stuff. That punk couldn't bring me down. Most of the world does not know about this fight. I did everything to keep it under wraps." All Might said as he lowered his shirt and stood up. "I'm supposed to be always smiling right? But honestly, I smile to hide the fear inside. This job isn't easy. Pros are always risking their lives. Some villains can't be beaten without powers. So, no, I honestly think you can't become a hero without a quirk."

Izuku felt his whole world shatter at the words of his idol, his mind beginning to be plagued once again by dark and depressing thoughts that were worse than usual for the poor boy.

"I… I see…" Izuku stuttered as he began to tear up.

But with his back turned to the boy, All Might didn't notice. Although he did catch the sadness in the boy's voice, but he felt this was better than giving someone false hope.

"If you truly want to help people, then why not become a doctor, a firefighter, or even a policeman? They're all fine professions." All Might suggested. "It's good to have goals in life, but maybe try to keep them a bit more realistic."

Having said his piece, All Might opened the door that led to the roof and started his descent down from the roof, leaving a devastated and now suicidal Izuku standing there as his eyes started to lose all light, darkening to an almost black color.

~Present Time~

Izuku was crying over the phone by the time he had told his mother about that part, and all Inko could do was offer words of comfort to her son. But on the inside, the woman was absolutely burning with unbridled fury. Inko was the type of person who rarely got truly angry with anybody, but when she did, she was scarier and more dangerous than any villain. She was the fiercest lawyer at the firm she used to work at for a reason before she retired after becoming pregnant with her son.

She figured that it was time for her to dust off her old law books and get herself recertified in order to exact justice for her precious baby boy! Starting with his teachers from Pre-K to Eighth Grade! Oh, she would see to it that the only job those quirkist bastards and bitches could get once she was done with them would be at a sewage treatment facility! And even then, that would be too good for them in her opinion. And of course, she would need to talk to her old friend, Mitsuki, about Bakugo's behavior and see if she knew anything about this and how far it had gone. But that could wait. For now, her son needed her more than ever. So, she comforted her son as best she could over the phone and told him that she would take care of everything.

And she gave him her full support on his dream, assuring him that despite what All Might had said, he CAN be a hero! Whether he has a quirk or not!

Turns out that was something that Izuku needed to hear more than anything, as his shattered mind and heart began to mend due to the love and support from his mother, who had blamed herself for the longest time for Izuku being quirkless.

"I'll try to come home soon, mom, but I don't think I can afford a ticket to get back to Japan with what I have now in Chinese currency." Izuku said.

"It's okay, Izuku. Take as much time as you need to get home, and maybe try learning how to fight and defend yourself while you're there. I know that you're much smarter than everyone in your age group, and even smarter than some adults, but a hero needs to have a strong body as well as a sharp mind." Inko said.

Izuku agreed to this and realized that he had been holding himself back by focusing solely on strengthening his mind rather than his body. Honestly, what was he gonna do if he became a hero like that and was up against a villain? Quiz them to death? Well, he was certain that since he was now in China, the land of Kung Fu, he would be able to pick up a thing or two while he was here. And of course, he could learn how to fight in his new Tyrannosaurus form.

They made arrangements to pull him out of Aldera and enroll him into online classes for the remainder of his time in Middle School, all the while Izuku would begin to train himself how to fight. And he decided that he needed to learn how to use a weapon as well in case martial arts and his cursed form weren't enough against certain villains. So, with plans made and his mother making secret plans to sue the pants off of every teacher in the Aldera School District, Izuku hung up the phone and began to research different styles of fighting in hopes of finding a style or two or three that suited his needs.

He would tell her about his curse when he got back home to Japan, as that was something that she would most definitely need to see to believe.

After visiting a bookstore, he bought a few books on different fighting styles that he wanted to teach himself so that he'd have a few different styles to switch between and maybe eventually combine into one single style. First off was Dragon Style Kung Fu, which incorporated all of the best aspects of the Animal Styles of Kung Fu and melded them into one fighting style. The second style he chose was boxing, which was a fighting style that would help him deliver fast and powerful punches with great precision in rapid succession. But he wasn't going to just be using the big, padded gloves that he's seen fighters wear on TV to prolong fights. He was going with wraps around his knuckles and arms in order to give his hands some form of protection without sacrificing too much, if any, striking power. And the third martial arts fighting style he had chosen Savate, or French Kickboxing, as a means of rounding out his fighting styles.

He was still choosing a weapon to train with, but he could decide that later.

It was difficult for Izuku to balance his online schooling with his martial arts training, but he managed, and graduated from middle school with an A+ average within a month's time since he no longer had to deal with his teachers sabotaging his grades due to his quirklessness. This left him with more time to train both his human side as a warrior, and also learn how to hunt and fight as a T-Rex. He became a skilled hunter when transformed, utilizing his heightened senses of smell and vision to stalk his prey, and was actually very quick on his feet as he ran faster than most paleontologists theorized that a fully-grown Tyrannosaurus Rex should have been able to run. And his stamina was no joke, as Izuku was able to run at full speed for long distances with no signs of fatigue.

He also found that he could eat and digest raw meat in this form with no problems after he had killed his first prey, which had been a wild boar. Quite handy when he didn't have any hot water on him to change back and couldn't cook as a result.

It was a long and difficult road, teaching himself how to fight from books alone with nobody to truly teach him, as there weren't many martial artists in the area. But thanks to the rigorous training, with Izuku going beyond the UA motto, 'Plus Ultra', he's made some remarkable progress as his body has begun to develop lean yet powerful muscles that are made for fighting, giving him strength while he retains his speed and agility. A scrawny noodle, he no longer is. Although, Izuku knows that he's a much stronger fighter when in his cursed form, he has made remarkable progress from when he started out.

We now find Izuku in human form walking through the Chinese mountains as he continued on his training journey. It had been six months since he first started training himself in martial arts, and he was confident enough to travel outside of his cursed form without worrying about the possibility of bandits in the area trying to ambush him and steal his valuables. Not that he had much of anything of value on his person, mind you. But it just put his mind at ease, especially since he suffers from anxiety and PTSD from Katsuki's treatment of him over his quirklessness.

And the suicide baiting and attempt.

Can't forget those.

They're pretty important.

Anyway, it was an hour of walking later when he found himself in a small village where he noticed that there seemed to be a fight going on, so he decided to move further into the village to see what was going on. A minute later he reached some kind of large open area, grass trampled down in some places giving it the impression of a regularly used gathering area. In one half of the gathering area was a large horizontal log tied and bolted on four affixed vertical logs, two at each end to hold the horizontal one up. It was surrounded by a crowd of cheering females who were watching a girl with lavender hair battling what appeared, to Izuku, to be a taller woman wearing a strange green and orange costume with a red and black mask.

Izuku spotted some familiar faces near the front of the crowd. It was the panda, the redhead girl, and the guide from Jusenkyo! He hadn't seen any of them since he had first arrived in China, and it wasn't under the best circumstances. Figuring he might be able to get some answers, he walked over to their spot to join them in their observation of the tournament. He watched the fight and was amazed as the smaller girl was moving with incredible fluidity. It was clear that, despite being as young as she was, she was clearly a seasoned fighter and not to be taken lightly.

"Wow, the one with lavender hair is so strong!" He said to the others in an attempt to strike up a conversation.

But there was no response. He looked to where the girl and panda had been a moment ago, but to his confusion, no one was there. He looked a little bit further up to find a table covered with various food, filled to the breaking point. He also saw a sign reading 'winner's prize' in Chinese and two familiar figures, that same panda and redhead girl, moving towards it like starved men. The guide was already lost in the crowd, probably searching for somebody.

Izuku's eyes turned into blank, anime circles as he reached a horrifying conclusion.

'They wouldn't!' he thought in fear.

Unfortunately, his fears would be proven right as he saw the look of hunger in their eyes that one could only find in someone who had been truly starving. Or on his uncle, Masaru, when he had jaw surgery and had to be on a liquid diet for two months before his jaw got unwired and he could finally start working his way up to solid food again.

Izuku still remembers how he punched Katsuki's lights out for making fun of his own father for that.

At least that time, the exploding blonde Pomeranian admitted that he had that one coming.

Back to the matter at hand!

Izuku moved faster than he ever thought possible and crossed the clearing in mere seconds, landing a devastating Shōryuken on the panda just as it was just about to stuff a rather tasty-looking chicken into his mouth, launching him into the air and sending him sprawling down onto his back. The redhead herself only got a slap on the hand from a wooden spoon that Izuku seemed to pull out of nowhere.

"Ow!" the redhead yelped.

"What in heaven's name do you think you two are doing?!" Izuku frantically asked."You can't eat this, it's the first prize of this tournament! Who knows what they will do to you if they catch you eating it?"

The redhead looked at Izuku crossly while rubbing her now sore hand.

"How do you know?" She asked rudely before adding, "And who the heck are you?"

Pointing to the sign, Izuku exclaimed, "It's written right there! Can't you read Chinese? Also, my name is Midoriya. Midoriya Izuku."

The redhead looked at the sign and rubbed the back of her head with a sheepish smile.

"Heh-heh, my bad. Chinese isn't my first language. My name's Ranma, by the way." she said with an embarrassed smile.

While the boy and 'girl' kept talking, the panda once again tried to stuff his face, only to be sent flying by a kick. As Ranma-chan lowered her outstretched leg and muttered something about greedy pandas, Izuku just pinched the bridge of his nose. He hadn't felt such aggravation since he finally admitted everything that had been happening to him to his mother.

"What's with that panda?" he asked in irritation.

"Unfortunately, that's my father. You probably won't believe me, but the two of us have curses from a place called Jusenkyo, which cause Pops to turn into a panda and myself into this." Ranma explained, gesturing to her body indicating that she turns into a girl before sighing. "And you wouldn't believe some of the things that idiot's done. The worst part is that I'm the one who has to pay for his mistakes most of the time. I've tried keeping him on a tight leash but have had no real success."

"Wait, you guys have curses too? I thought I was the only one!" gasped Izuku. "Believe it or not, I turn into a T-Rex when I transform!"

"Really? An actual T-Rex?" Ranma asked with a grin. "Oh man, that's way better than my curse!"

Meanwhile, back on the log, the lavender haired girl had defeated her final foe and basked in the glory of her victory. Needless to say, she wasn't at all happy to see an outsider woman and young man near HER prize. Narrowing her eyes, she jumped off the log and stomped towards them. She was a mere 6 feet away and still neither outsider seemed to pay her presence any heed. She cleared her throat, causing both outsiders to turn around.

(What are you doing here? This is my prize, leave it alone!) she demanded in her native language, startling the pair.

Ranma just looked at her, not understanding a single word. Though her tone was pretty clear: she was pissed.

Izuku, on the other hand, understood her quite well, considering that he actually took the time to study and learn how to speak, read, write, and understand Mandarin Chinese. Although he had to fight down the urge to scream and run as her anger was giving him flashbacks of the abuse he suffered because he was quirkless. But he managed to fight his way through his trauma, though it was just barely, and quickly bowed to the girl as he tried to calm her down.

(We are terribly sorry. My friend here, Ranma? Her pet-panda wanted to eat your prize, so we had to boot him away from it. We did not want to intrude.) he said.

Ranma looked at Izuku in shock, but the lavender haired girl seemed unconvinced. That is until said panda tried to sneak its way to the food. A quick swing from her Chui knocked him out cold.

(I believe you for now. You should really teach your Panda some manners. Why are you here then, outsiders?) She said in a neutral tone of voice, retrieving her mace-like weapon.

Izuku, seeing that Ranma was not following the conversation in any way, spoke on their behalf.

(I am unsure as to why Ranma and her panda are here, but I was passing through as I was training in the mountains. I am self-taught in martial arts and still have much to learn but happened upon your village as I was on my way to my next destination. I saw the fight and decided to watch when I noticed the panda moving to eat the winner's prize and decided to intervene. As for Ranma and her panda, that is their story to tell. Although, I have reason to believe that the guide from the valley brought them here.)

(Valley? What valley?) asked the lavender haired girl.

(These three are coming from the cursed springs, great-granddaughter.) An old and raspy voice said with an edge of humor.

Izuku looked around, wondering where the voice came from. When his eyes came to rest on a small hideous figure that was standing on a gnarled staff, he nearly had a heart-attack.

'Holy crap, is that an old lady? Why does she look like that? Does she have some sort of longevity quirk that extends her lifespan but doesn't allow her to retain her youth?' Izuku freaked out mentally.

Ranma was faring no better when he saw the newcomer, but instead of voicing his thoughts about the beings' looks he kept quiet for once, knowing that it was best to let Izuku handle this. Speaking of whom, Izuku was quick to regain his bearings and calmly addressed the elderly one.

(May I inquire who you are?) he asked.

The creature cackled, sending shivers of fear up Izuku's spine. He could tell that, despite appearances, this elder was not to be underestimated. It must be his instincts as a predator warning him of a foe that is clearly stronger than himself.

(My, my, aren't we polite? I'm Ku Lon, the matriarch of this little village. The guide has told me about your bad luck at Jusenkyo. Would you like some hot water right now?) she asked.

Izuku bowed to the elder and said with a hint of amusement, (That would be most appreciated, elder Ku Lon. Only for Ranma and the panda. I am not in my cursed form at the moment. Although, I must ask, would it also be possible for the three of us to purchase some supplies while we are here?)

Ku Lon chuckled and said, (Do not worry yourself for the time being child. We are not heartless, especially to outsiders in need. Now please follow me. Xian Pu, you may take your prize now!)

With that the extremely elderly woman started bouncing away at astounding speeds. Izuku and Ranma picked up Genma and followed suit while the lavender haired girl, who Izuku assumed to be Xian Pu, went to claim her prize.

***To Be Continued…***

Ending A/N: So, yeah, I was going to include Izuku marrying Shampoo in this chapter, but I couldn't think of how best to build up to that event. Plus, I want to spend some time experimenting with how the fight scene will go in order to make the fight as long and entertaining to read as possible. Writing fight scenes has never been my forte, but I hope that when I do write it it turns out good for all of you. Anyways, please don't forget to leave a review and tell me what you think of this chapter, and also don't forget to check out the stories that I have listed above if you haven't already! Thank you all so much for reading, and I'll see you in the next update!
